1st Grand Bukijutsu Tournament!


Hello! I am writing to you to tell you about the 1st Grand Bukijutsu Tornament. Shinobi from every village are invited to come and join in with the festivities, lack of skill in weaponry does not exempt a Shinobi from coming, much like lack in dramatical talent does not exempt a person from going to the Oprea.

Once here, they may meander around the many civilian-run stalls and games, or sign up for the Tournament itself, which will be split into two sections, and four catagories.

The two sections shall be Wood, and Metal, specially crafted weaponry will be provided for each section, and Medical Nin shall be on hand for the Metal section, more so than the Wood section. Any use of Ninjutsu, Hijutsu, Bloodline Limits, or other chakra-powered offensive manuvers shall be grounds for immidiate disqualification, and Kusagakure Sensor Nins will be around to police this ruling, with the Hono Clan acting as Security for the event, to prevent scuffles and enforce the will of the judges. Use of suplimentry Taijutsu shall be allowed, but the Judges have final rulling on if a Shinobi is neglecting the just of their Bukijutsu in favour of Taijutsu.

The Four catagories will be Beginner, Intimidate, Advanced, and Master. Participents may sign up for any combination of catagory and section, but do not let your ego drive your joining, or you will be demolished by vastly superior weapon users. Likewise, if you are breezing through the competition, you will be moved into a higher bracket to give a better show for all who wish to watch, and to promote fairness for all.

Victory in your catagory will grant you a choice of cash prize, a village sponsered banquet of equal value at the prodominant Billion Backs Bar and Resturant in Nohara no Kuni, or a specially crafted item of equal value*. Furthermore, the winner of their catagory can chose to have a fight against any other competetor of the same section, in a friendly exibition match.

Lastly, to note, the Metal Section will have weapons with a sharpened edge, and while a team of highly skilled Kusagakure Medical Corps will be on scene, getting stabbed in the lung hurts like hell. I urge competetors to try and avoid leathal take downs, since heads can not be stiched back on, regardless of the skill of the Medical Ninja. Please announce this to your village, and then get back to me with how many Shinobi feel like coming, so I may make proper preprerations for their arrival.
