Dear Members of the Fallen Blades Community,

There will be few changes the staff are bringing about for the sake of the improvement of the site at large.
We've heard many concerns about the current state of certain aspects of the site and would like to alleviate them by instituting these few changes.

First and foremost, we will be changing the system that Genjutsu goes by. Many have voiced concern that as it currently stands, Genjtusu is simply too powerful especially towards those who just happen to be of a lower rank, even if they know Kai. We, the staffers, will be looking to create a new system in which we believe would more fairly portray how the caster of a Genjutsu and the recipient would forgo the process in battle. We would like to cut down on potential vague 'grey areas' and make it fairer for all.

Secondly, we will be instituting a standard time limit that Death Enabled threads go by. We've seen too many of these kinds of threads get pushed aside simply because there isn't a real sense of urgency on part of our players. We would like to simulate more of the real dangers of shinobi life whether if they're in events or on missions. There will be more clarifications to come.

Next, we would like to make it clear that there will be certain restrictions on the use of familiars. We have seen how it could potentially be exploited to overwhelm opponents by simply putting more men on the feild. In addition we would like to make it clear that just like summons, familiars can only be rank above their masters.

Also, one thing some of us have noted is that in battles some of us like to say 'adding chakra makes their jutsu stronger'. This is an incorrect notion. Just like in canon 'adding chakra' to jutsu can make it a completely different jutsu entirely. A good examples of this are the differences between Rasengan and Oodama Rasengan. They're definitely related, but totally different jutsu.

Lastly, in the near future, staff may ask for the revision of Jinchuuriki apps. We don't mean this to come off as a nuisance, but there are certain things we would like to see made more standardized, in hopes of making the abilities more well known.

That is all.

Sincerely Sega, Associate Admin of Fallen Blades Staff
