Kirigakure has received an anonymous warning of an impending attack on the village. The warning mentions no names, including only a torn missive as evidence of the impending crime. While much of the letter is illegible, the only hint found on the parchment is a fragment of a sentence indicating for the recipient to make preparations for the assault, "Prepare the weapon and the troops. The time for the Mist's destruction has..."

Without further evidence or information, the village has little to act upon and requests the aid of experienced Shinobi willing to investigate.
