[Frenzy]

The wind was calm, ironic given what was about to take place. This was the second annual Battle for Village Supremacy, a second chance for villages to show their might. The battlefield this time around was much like the surrounding lands of Kaze no Kuni. A sandy field, with rocky formations spread out in the outer circle of the field. A clear line of sight was there as the pillars of rock were more off to the side. None bigger than 15 feet, these rocks seemed to have been man made. 



The crowd was a mix of chatter and excitement as the referee would make his way out to the field, awaiting the arrival of the other two competitors. The referee would put a hand up to his brow as to block the sun from eyes. IT was a hot day, typical for the region. As the referee awaited the arrival of the fighters, he'd make the opening announcement. "Welcome to the second annual Battle for Village Supremacy!", the crowd roared to life as they knew very well what these tournaments brought. Exciting and physical confrontations.  

"Our first match in the opening round will be, Tachibana Bakuna vs Tasa Poshi!"
