The wind was calm, ironic given what was about to take place. This was the second annual Battle for Village Supremacy, a second chance for villages to show their might. The battlefield this time around was much like the surrounding lands of Kaze no Kuni. A sandy field, with rocky formations spread out in the outer circle of the field. A clear line of sight was there as the pillars of rock were more off to the side. None bigger than 15 feet, these rocks seemed to have been man made.





The crowd was a mix of chatter and excitement as the referee would make his way out to the field, awaiting the arrival of the other two competitors. It was a hot day, typical for the region. As the referee awaited the arrival of the fighters, he'd make the opening announcement. "It is now time for the next bout!", the crowd roared to life as they knew very well what these tournaments brought. Exciting and physical confrontations.



"Our next match in the opening round will be, Tenro Kuroto vs Yuki Fuyumi!"

Oh, how much she detested this country. Even in the comforts of her white silk pavilion, she could only think of how much she detested this place. Of course if she had to compare, she would compare it with Iwagakure, although for that accursed country, did not suffer the harsh sunlight. The Lady of the Yuki Clan heard the cheers and announcements, and leaving her throne of carved ebony wood, she would take a final sip of wine from her silver and sapphire goblet before making her way. She passed the tapestry made out of the furs of animals, and made her out of the shelter of the pavilion and into the arena.

There was no wind blowing that time. The sandy soil crunched underneath her feed as she made her way into the arena. A shawl about her head and shoulders, acting to block the sunlight as she passed the spectators and the rock columns erected by men and eroded by sand and wind and time. It didn't matter to Fuyumi, like a shark she could almost taste the blood, her hand felt all the more ready to allow the bloodletting to begin and once she entered the arena, she would only closer her eyes and await. Await for her prey to come.

While some had shade and cover to protect them Kuroto had no such sanctuary from the elements so as he made his way his body's temperature felt like it was close to boiling and sweat rolled down his face. The only relief he got was the feeling that welled up inside him when he saw just how close he was to the arena the moment the tall stone structures were coming into view. His brisk walk turned into a quick sprint that led him to jump up onto one of the low stones and give him a good view of the arena as well as his opponent on the other side. With a smirk he cracked his knuckles and rolled his shoulders before hopping down and giving them a big wave of his hand. "Best of luck to ya!" Just because he saw his opponent as another piece of meat for him to play around with didn't mean he couldn't show a bit of good sportsmanship did it? Their positions were taken. Both competitors stood across from each other as the referee stood on top of one of the stone pillars. Mhmm. The referee would give a nod of confirmation to each competitor to assure they were ready to begin. This was it. The calm winds would slowly pick up as battle would soon start. The opening round of the Battle for Village Supremacy...

"BEGIN!", the referee declared before disappearing. It had begun.

The clamor of the audience came like a thunderous roar, deafening and ephemeral. The adrenaline after the battle had started under the auspices of the referee slowly but surely turned into a murmur and then elapsed into a sepulchral silence. Yet her purple eyes never blinked, they never let him, not out of a sense of adoration for his good looks, surely the young man was comely and gallant, but nonetheless a gallant fool he was, no, hers were the eyes of a predator that had just sniffed vitae on the air. Fuyumi took a first step, the bottom of her heels crunching on the sandy soil of the desert, and a gasp escaped from the audience as the sign of life. Her thoughts drifted on considerations, for the young man was a member of an allied village.

There would be no considerations, it mattered little to her with whom the village decided to create treaties of friendship. Hers was a higher calling, a calling of bloodletting, a hunger for carnage. Her steps then became a gait, a trot, elegant and deadly. She had not even returned his hail. The gesture was not worthy of her time. Hands came together, and the people of this forsaken land felt something that they hadn't felt before, cold. A fragment of what the most brutal winter could be, and a light snow began to fell to the wonder of those that had never laid their eyes in such a short lived beauty.

Frigid was the air around her, the potency of her own and cold chakra became alive. A haze appeared and from it six swords, pale as milk glass with a blue hue, of otherworldly beauty and craftsmanship appeared. A flick of her hand it was all that it took, they flew in pairs tracking the young man from Iwagakure to pierce his flesh and spill his blood.

The user gathers water from the atmosphere, condensing the moisture and giving it shape into a single or several swords of ice that can, either, be used as a handheld weapon or be shot at a target with great accuracy. The swords themselves are very resilient, being able to pierce and cut through rock and are very cold, causing frostbite upon contact with the flesh of the enemy.

show me your As the arena suddenly began to feel cooler Kuroto's mind became hardened as he watched the woman walk towards him. His muscles tensed up and ready to spring despite the frigid air causing them to shiver as the hairs along them stood up on edge. This lady was dangerous, her looks, her posture, her atmosphere, Kuroto was sure she was ready to kill. If that wasn't enough evidence then the three pairs of sword shaped ice was a pretty clear indicator of her intent, and that was enough to send Kuroto on the run. The ice was fast but Kuroto was quick enough as he ran for cover behind one of the many stone pillars just big enough to hide his body that was between him and the woman with four of the swords flew past him while his hands went to work with signs. Two of them did find their mark somewhat as he felt them both cut into his right shoulder in very shallow cuts despite flecks of blood finding a new home on the hot sand. Once he was behind his new cover he finished his sign-work and before appeared four clones, one of which he grabbed by the arm to hold close to him while they hid in their cover and the other three jumped over the small pillar and charged at the woman. Two circled at her from her left and right flanks while another made a bee line for her with a sign up in front of him, hands clasped together into a triangle and the woman's form in the center of it. With a crack lighting sparked to life in between the clone's hand and shot right at the woman in a bolt of pure blue while the clone on her right threw a pair of kunai at her face and the one on the left copied his fellow clone with his own kunai. That was of course under the assumption the woman had laid some quick traps while Kuroto was busy hiding or was quick enough to retaliate. DESCRIPTION:
Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, as well as their kekkei genkai. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained along with it's remaining chakra are passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

This technique is probably one of the most basic Raiton Jutsu out there that deals with actual lightning. The user will first perform the needed hand seals in order, then make a triangle with both their hands with the finger tips as the vertex and two thumbs acting as base. After which, the user will then begin to focus their Raiton Chakra to the Single Point while targeting the opponent within the open Triangle palm as they begin to channel chakra to the mid-point of the triangle. Then user will then pulsate a single bolt of lightning towards the opponent. The damage the bolt can deal is substantial, able to scorch a tree while leaving a dent at full power.

First blood had been drawn, droplets of vitae flecked the sound and the frostbite would kick in. But she was not satisfied, and how she be when her prey scampered to hide. She gave chase for a brief second considering if this was the best that Iwagakure could provide, her thoughts were abruptly ended as she saw a trio of figures coming ahead of her. It was the young man and two doppelgangers for what she could tell, two on a side to flank her and then himself in center, perhaps they young man from Iwagakure was worthy, or perhaps he was just waiting for the most opportune time. Her eyes darted from one side to the next.

She felt the ionization in the air as he waved his hand signs and saw the other two flanking the lead, their hands reaching to their pouches, the Lady of the Yuki Clan then knew their plan. Without much of a thought training and muscle memory kicked in, and with it one of the extensive choreographic training of evasion that she had drilled unto herself. She stopped, and slide over the grains of sand, allowing the momentum to carry her forward as her slender hands began to weave a quick succession of hand signs, a trailing cloud of sand forming behind her. The kunai flew but met nothing but themselves in the air, crashing with a metallic clang as they bounced in opposite directions.

The electricity charred the air above her, the attack flying to where she would had been were it not for the virtue of her sense of self preservation and her dodge, but left her unscathed as her chakra was ready at last. She took a single inhalation of the warm air of the desert, and pressed her crimson lips together. She spun upon her own axis a deathly scythe of air flew slashing and hacking the grain of sands, aiming to bisect the young man and his clones.

After the hand seals have been formed, the user takes a deep breath, kneading the Fūton chakras in their stomach. Much like Vacuum Sphere, the chakras are then closely woven together once the Dog hand seal is formed. The chakras are then released as sharp waves of wind that are guided by the caster's head movements. These waves are extremely sharp, capable of cutting flesh down to the bone.

show me your All three clones let out simultaneous growls as they watched their attacks miss their mark with the real Kuroto growling as well as he rubbed at his freezing and stinging wound while his back up clone watched for an opening to join in the fight. The woman was a nimble one and quick to counter as air sharp as steel swept all around them, the two kunai throwing clones managed to fall onto their backs as the wind jutsu flew above them. The Raiton using one wasn't so lucky as it cut right into the middle of his torso and chopped the body in half, only for it to explode in a puff of smoke. Kuroto and his back up both froze in their cover spot as they felt the wind go over their heads and shave a few hairs off their heads. The real Kuroto started to weave together a sign, eyes darting around the sand dunes in front of him while his two surviving vanguard clones sat back up and glared at the woman. They wasted no time in pushing themselves back to their feet, but in the next second where they nearly reached full standing height both of their bodies vanished in a flicker as they seemed to be preparing for a run as they did. They would appear in front of Fuyumi a good foot and a half near her and stomped a foot each into the ground as their hands were locked together in signs before switching to a second. In that moment their feet slammed the ground the sand beneath their feet collapsed in on itself as two spouts of fire erupted from it, aiming to lick at the woman's entire legs with heat. If she was facing away from them she might spot the fourth and final clone come running out of its hiding spot with the real body and aiming to tackle her into the flames with its shoulder. By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion.

For it can be used to block projectiles and taijutsu attacks. The flames are about knee to thigh height depending on the skill of the user.

She saw the puff of smoke as her deathly scythe of air had drawn blood. But it had only been one and before she would think on how to get the other two, they materialized before her in a flash of shade and smoke. The most primitive synapses of her mind took control and the same belief of self preservation kicked in, she took a hop back and her hands began in a dance like away from the encroaching flames that like tongues of flame sought at her legs and thighs. The musky scent of burnt fabric filled her nostrils and a low growl of anger escaped from her lips, but she remained focused and her mind came with the only strategy possible. Quick hand seals came and she felt body energized and disappeared as quickly as the other clones had.

The Lady of the Yuki Clan reappeared behind the fourth of the clones, ignoring the throbbing pain from the shiny burnt wound that had marred the ethereal perfection of her alabaster skin, yet still her gait, a dance of elegance and death remained. She waved a set of hand signs and felt how her frigid chakra began to move and activate the her bodily functions. Hormones and bile, bodily fluids that apart were inert began to mold and mix with her chakra turning into a deadly concoction that would inflict pain and disable those that dared to inhale it. She inhaled with a wry and vicious smile on her face as the final components of the mixture filled her lungs and that would

Fuyumi pressed the scarlet of her lips together and exhaled, her lungs emptying as a fume of purple poisonous gas flew over the sand as if it were a storm that brought death and decay with it, all spreading over the arena.

At first they all just seemed puzzled by it until they found it hard to breathe and slowly felt their throats close up and bodies suddenly feel heavy and in pain. Lucky for them their suffering was quick as they suddenly exploded into smoke. Kuroto let out a sharp gasp as he felt their memories and chakra flow back into him as he looked back at the woman and knew what he had to do. He couldn't just stay put anymore, he needed a new den to hide in. So he was quick to withdraw a kunai and three shuriken out of his supplies pockets around his waist and attach a bomb tag to the kunai before tossing it at the woman through the purple fog. He had a general idea where she was thanks to his clones' memories but wasn't too concerned if he hit her or not. He just needed her to not see him for a few seconds as he ran once he launched the rigged weapon. As he ran he fired off the trio of shuriken he had in a wide horizontal wave to cut her off if she gave chase in any shape as he made his way towards another pillar of stone the size of a house and jumped up onto its rough flat top. He wanted to look the woman in the eye on his next head on tactic. Preparing another set of hand signs for a jutsu that would save his life if she had any more dangerous jutsu ready for him. Fuyumi heard the gasps for air and choking fits of cough as she advanced. The soil of the feed igniting with chakra that allowed her for a soft levitation over the sand not to cause any sound. There was a poof smoke heard through the thick miasma of death, but for her the scents of poison that polluted the air were like the most like the sweetest of all perfumes, for she had created her from her own bodily chemistry, for she had ensure that any poison created by her would do a thing and thing only, harm her enemy and not herself. Her immunity was a good weapon for she could use poisons without much concern. She heard another pop of clones and yet another and finally she heard to a blast close to where she had been standing.

She followed but at her pace, there was no rush to end up this contest and if she were to be honest with herself, she was done with playing shinobi with a ninja from Iwagakure. A cruel smile appeared in the wispy shade of that cloud of poison. She began to weave hand seals as the sound of metal stabbing sand was heard once more close to her. She would have laughed but sch gestures were petty and lost on her. The smart thing would have been to quit, if the young man had been a shrewd individual but he was not. She felt her chakra alive again and, as if it was a living being with a mind of its own it demanded blood. It demanded more carnage.

A cold mist began to emerge suddenly. On its wake it fed from the poison cloud and frost began to appear over every stone. Her skin, her clothes and her hair became permeated with this frost and suddenly she found herself invisible to the naked eye and anything but a Dojutsu on par with the Byakugan, all until the battlefield had turned into a night impregnable field of mists and cold and shade. She moved in silence and took a small scroll, placing it atop the sand. She was patient like how a spider was patient as she hunted. She drifted as silence became an uncomfortable thing that would have turned anyone mad. And then she waited.

The user doesn't seem to be levitating unless under close inspection which they seem to be about 1.5 - 2cm off the ground. Apart from enhancing speed, this technique gives the user the ability to walk on water and evade projectile attacks with ease.

By gathering the moisture present in the atmosphere, the user produces visually clouding frost by causing the temperature of air to fall below the freezing point, effectively freezing any ambient water vapour in the vicinity. The frost allows the user to become transparent within it. Upon being struck with an attack, the user becomes visible. The mist is visible to the naked eye, but since the user is transparent it voids that sense. While it cannot fool the Byakugan, but, due to the frost being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the frost coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

show me your He tried to peek out of his cover to spot the woman but she was still somewhat in the poisonous fog and he couldn't quite see her. Plus he didn't really want to give himself away. However he did manage to see something odd about the woman's jutsu. Soon the fog began to be replaced by a mist and the air around him began to grow colder, even the stone he was hiding behind began to gain a layer of frost that was cold to the touch. He decided to chance it and looked over more from his hiding spot and saw that the mist was spreading and he didn't see the woman at all. So she was playing hide and seek with him then? Well if she really wanted to play, then Kuroto would be happy to oblige. After all all this jumping and hiding was getting a bit tedious, she was going for the kill with most if not all of her moves, why couldn't he? He put together some signs and gathered his chakra and slowly let it envelop him as it began to become so intense a slight aura formed around him. Although no one would see it a grin spread on his face as he felt his body's energy change and his chakra unleashes itself in a wave of power as in his place would stand a large creature both humanoid and lupine in appearance that gave the crowd a shock as audible mumbling could find its way into the arena. The creature used its large claws to weave together even more signs and in a large puff of smoke five more of them appeared. They all exchanged looks before letting out a howl and leaving their space behind the frosted rock to charge into the mist. Three, the real Kuroto included, stayed on the edge outside of the mist, a singular one ran circles around in the mist acting as a mobile ambush should she move, while two went in deeper, both of them sniffing the air and catching the faint scent of the woman inside. She may have been invisible to the eye but her scent would still linger around in this mist and when they caught a thicker trail of it they followed it to its source and lunged at the source, hopefully the woman's form, with claws ready to be brought down on her flesh and tear it open. The user transforms their body into that of a humanoid wolf-like creature that grants them a great increase in to their speed and strength to improve their hand to hand combat capabilities with a slight upgrade to their senses. In such a state they are imbued with sharp claws and canines that can tear through skin with ease but have a bit of trouble trying to cut through anything harder than bone.
While in this state the transformed still has access to their jutsu, including those only accessible through this transformation, however they will find that the drain of chakra on their usual jutsu will be increased (by one level) while transformed as maintaining this state takes a constant flow of chakra.

Through the stillness of the mist, she could hear well. She heard the puffs a distant puff and then the slow trot through the sand and the mist that permeated the arena. If previous tactics told her something was that the man from Iwagakure was in hiding and that the ones that were seeking for her, were decoys to keep himself out of harms way. She could not entirely predict what his plans would be, but she could adapt to them. She heard the steps again and these sounded heavier than before, perhaps it was a transformation. Fuyumi slowly retreated back to where she had left the scroll and waved a set of hand signs and a puff of white smoke emerged through the thick mist.

From it, two feminine figures emerged, dressed in the same garb as her and their appearance mimicked hers to ever single detail, but these were not mere clones. The corpses had been modified, taken from their baseline and altered to match her. The weight of her body, the details of her alabaster skin, the proportions of every limb and even the color of hair and the empty shell of the eyes set to mimic the malignant shine of her eyes and a facsimile of the bodily scent that was natural for Fuyumi. It took but a simple gesture of her hands to prop marionettes to life, a shine of manufactured life coming through the will of her chakra

Fuyumi followed behind the second of the corpses, keeping a good distance behind it, traversing in nigh silence and cloaked through the mist.

By gathering the moisture present in the atmosphere, the user produces visually clouding frost by causing the temperature of air to fall below the freezing point, effectively freezing any ambient water vapour in the vicinity. The frost allows the user to become transparent within it. Upon being struck with an attack, the user becomes visible. The mist is visible to the naked eye, but since the user is transparent it voids that sense. While it cannot fool the Byakugan, but, due to the frost being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the frost coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

The most basic of sealing techniques, in which the user creates a simple seal upon a medium (such as a scroll) for which a multitude of objects can be stored. The sheer number and scale of items that can be sealed depends on the size of the seal itself, as basic shuriken and kunai can be placed within small scrolls, but giant shuriken or massive swords require thick torso-sized scrolls. This technique is what one requires if they wish to tap into such basic seals, though there are always other ways to unseal objects.

Another battle for village supremacy! Blue, or rather the Ame Lord won the last one. So who will win it now!? Obviously, it was too early to tell, but a girl can always speculate. This time around Ama was rooting for whiskers, better known to others as Kuroto. Sitting in the bleacher she'd cast her gaze upon Kuroto's challenger, her eyes widen as the blonde gasped in horror. It was that raven-haired woman!

It'd been a few years since her first encounter with Fuyumi, and boy-oh-boy, let me just tell ya... that woman does not play around. It seemed as though this Fuyumi chick didn't know the concept of a spar, she was after blood and wanted Ama dead! Booo~ that's no fun! But hey, at least she had fun up until she had to flee for her life's sake. "Tsk." Dang that woman and her dirty tricks! Her poisons were annoying and the dead bodies... well, that was just weird as all hell! Though, at least she gave the woman a few good hits.

Kuroto was definitely gonna have a rough time fighting the witchy woman. The battle between opponents would begin. Ama steadily spectated the competitors as they fought, watching, wondering... wondering if Fuyumi was out to kill in this match too. Her guess was a definite yes. So far whiskers seemed to be doin' ok. He had already shed some blood, but maybe he could somehow prevail!

show me your The clones found their clawns slashing at nothing but cool air as it seemed they had missed their mark. The two creatures looked at one another and gave a simple nod before sniffing the air and twitched their noses when they could catch a scent that was a little bit familiar yet stronger. Clones? It was a possibility he thought of. So the two wolves continued their hunt as they disappeared into the mist in a sprint to follow the scent as best as they could. Meanwhile the group of two extra clones and the real Kuroto were on alert at the edge of the mist, well two of them were as the clones feral eyes gazed into the mist while the real Kuroto was busy taking a seat in the soft but rough said in a cross legged position. He felt a little calm, too calm, this was a fight that turned into a game of hide and seek and it got his blood pumping despite all the hiding he had done earlier. His tail started to wag when he noticed his clones begin to growl at a figure emerging from the mist, the woman, who bravely was heading right for them. His two copies wasted no time in charging at her with one ready lunging for her with jaws wide open. The real Kuroto took this chance to scramble to all fours and circle around the three from the right of them waiting for a good opening to strike himself. In the mist the woman and another copy of herself were busy heading in a direction where Kuroto had made his clones, in a direction west of where the real one was busy dealing with her other clone. As the two walked another clone of Kuroto's monstrous and furry form came in from their left flank aiming a wide kick at the clone with its claws stretched far out to leave a nasty scratch against that perfect skin. DESCRIPTION:
The user transforms their body into that of a humanoid wolf-like creature that grants them a great increase in to their speed and strength to improve their hand to hand combat capabilities with a slight upgrade to their senses. In such a state they are imbued with sharp claws and canines that can tear through skin with ease but have a bit of trouble trying to cut through anything harder than bone.
While in this state the transformed still has access to their jutsu, including those only accessible through this transformation, however they will find that the drain of chakra on their usual jutsu will be increased (by one level) while transformed as maintaining this state takes a constant flow of chakra.
