[Frenzy]

The wind was calm, ironic given what was about to take place. This was the second annual Battle for Village Supremacy, a second chance for villages to show their might. The battlefield this time around was much like the surrounding lands of Kaze no Kuni. A sandy field, with rocky formations spread out in the outer circle of the field. A clear line of sight was there as the pillars of rock were more off to the side. None bigger than 15 feet, these rocks seemed to have been man made.





The crowd was a mix of chatter and excitement as the referee would make his way out to the field, awaiting the arrival of the other two competitors. It was a hot day, typical for the region. As the referee awaited the arrival of the fighters, he'd make the opening announcement. "It is now time for the next bout!", the crowd roared to life as they knew very well what these tournaments brought. Exciting and physical confrontations.



"Our next match in the opening round will be, Akimichi Chono vs Jun Etsuko!"

Akimichi Chono Jun Etsuko

Taking to the field Chono had a confident stride to him, his usual cloak already removed so as to not get in the way of his movement. Despite pushing into his mid-forties his body still looked as fit as it had in his younger days during the last Shinobi War. Doing a few quick stretches to loosen his body some, Chono surveyed what would be their battlefield thinking to himself after a few moments that it seemed to work to his advantage.

Chono hadn't recognized her in the tent until the name had been called, but now that it had it put him in a bit of a tough spot internally. He had planned to pull his punches some in the tournament as dead shinobi outside of war quickly rose tensions. Facing a Jinchuuriki though meant that Chono didn't have the luxury of pulling punches. He still had no desire to kill his opponent if possible, but pulling blows could easily cause his own death.

Finishing his stretches, Chono gave his knuckles a crack and started thinking of potential plans to fight his opponent. He honestly did not know a ton about her as he hadn't watched the last tournament. He had heard like many that she had allowed her bijuu to run amuck, but that was about it. He had seen the plethora of swords the young woman had been carrying when she entered the tent. That at least gave him a starting point to formulate a plan of attack, but he still was lacking information.

Breaking out into a slight chuckle Chono could not help, but think of how many times battles in the past had given him even less information. At the end of the day his strength had always been in adapting to the situation at hand. If his rough shod planned found to work he would try something else. If that did not work he would try another thing and another until he won. At the very least he would be sure to make his family and village proud.

[Jun Etsuko]

A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi Etsuko arrived after a long journey, she'd come into a tent spoken a few words and hadn't held the happiest demeanor. She was someone who could help almost writing her emotions upon her facial expressions. An almost sick appearance with a displeased expression, eyes which didn't seem to care for arena or opponent. She approached without much pace in her steps, she couldn't help being deep in thought and confused about her position. "Jeez, a place like this under the sun is almost as hot as you." Etsuko would state to Matabi, her tone clearly meaning it in a joking manner. She was dreading removing the sunhat from her head, she also hadn't wanted to remove her cloak. "You've made that joke five times now Etsuko. I think the heats finally getting to your head." Matabi would groan so sick of hearing the joke she disliked the first time. She could however hear it in Etsuko's tone, there hadn't been any intention in the repeat. The two-tailed fire demon was capable of reading a fair bit of her host. She'd literally watched her groan from a baby. There wasn't the same hope and excitement as the last Tournament, it seemed as though more than the weather was bothering the Jounin. Matabi was both judging and curious. Confused but interested. "You think he's different than the rest of them?" Etsuko would ask her Biuu her mind slowly dazing more into the realm of her seal than that of her existence. The desert was bright and annoying. Inside her bijuu seal there was water and everything, it seemed like a pretty nice paradise in comparison. "Shukaku and a village leader you lost too. You'll be lucky if he is even of their caliber." Matabi would grumble absolutely uninterested in the idea of them participating in this type of event. She'd been forced to assist Etsuko, but nothing had been gained from it for even Etsuko. It seemed relatively clear such things were now enlightened upon the Jounin. Etsuko would stop at the appropriate distance from her opponent. He appeared to be a very large and strong fellow, but had the facial feature of a seasoned shinobi. Slowly the jounin would tilt her head back, as to reveal her copper cat like hues to the elite jounin. She'd stare him in the eye, as to amplify his perception of who she'd been. "Tell me Konoha-nin! You know what I am, do you really think you have chance?!" The need for it was necessary, but having needed it the world now knew of her two tailed beast. Akimichi Chono , Notes , other cool stuff

[Frenzy]

Their positions were taken. Both competitors stood across from each other as the referee stood on top of one of the stone pillars. Mhmm. The referee would give a nod of confirmation to each competitor to assure they were ready to begin. This was it. The calm winds would slowly pick up as battle would soon start. The opening round of the Battle for Village Supremacy...

"BEGIN!", the referee declared before disappearing. It had begun.

[Akimichi Chono]

As the young woman tilted her head back, revealing the coppper tone to her eyes Chono was caught entirely off guard by the words that soon followed. Did he think he had a chance? It had been quite some time since someone had not recognized him. Even in his chance encounters with a shinobi from Iwa she had managed to recognize him despite being too young to have been in the war. With a booming laugh Chono quickly responded.

"I suppose I have a better chance than most kitten. To be quite honest I've never fought a Jinchuuriki on my own, but one of my kids used to tell me how amazing it would to see me fight a bijuu. Figure a Jinchuuriki'll be even better."

After the small exchange Chono moved from a relaxed posture to a more martial one with his left hand up before him and his right hand slightly behind his back, his first move for the match already decided on, his first three even. Yes, there was no truly knowing what she would do so there was only one thing he could do. The thing Akimichi typically regined supreme at within Konohagakure. Transforming the entirety of the battlefield and destroying their opponents with overwhelming and unexpected power.


After a few minutes the referee would appear atop one of the nearby pillars, giving them each a nod to ensure they were prepared. Chono silently nodded back, his usual jovial demeanor having faded upon taking up his stance and a silent determination being the only thing to come from him since then. As the referee shouted begin Chono was instantly moving, grabbing several senbon out of his back pouch with his right hand and throwing them. Rather than throwintg them point first as was the practice with senbon, Chono threw them with their points going towards his left and right. At the very last moment before it left his hand the Akimichi would channel his chakra into the senbon specifically made to work with the multi-size technique and expand them as it left his hand. What had been a few thin rods of steel suddenly would become a massive pillars hurtling towards his opponent.

Not even waiting to see how his opponent might try to dodge or block the attack, Chono was already moving forward with his plan, rendering the short few handseals for Doton: Yomi Numa - [Earth Element: Swamp of the Underworld] causing a massive eruption of mud to erupt from below the sand of the battlefield to quickly cover a large area of the area. Going off the swords his opponent had been carrying it seemed an obvious choice to limit her ability to move around the battlefield. He knew that the girl could easily use water walking to avoid immediately sinking if she was quick enough, but it being in the battlefield would provide a constant hazard that Chono could and planned to take advantage of. Just as the pillar of steel that had suddenly appeared crashed into the ground Chono drew his large sword and prepared himself for what was to come.

This technique allows the Akimichi clan member to expand their body like the regular multi-size technique. However, unlike the base level technique it allows the clan member to expand specific part of their body. Adding in the fact that none of the Akimichi's techniques require handseals and this allows the clan member to expand their arm right before connecting with a punch to increase the strength as well as follow through with the attack.

It should be noted that if someone uses water walking before stepping on it they can avoid sinking. However, if they try to use it when they are already sinking in, the technique will not work.

A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi Etsuko wasn't sure what to expect from the redhead, but she definitely didn't believe he'd state what he would. Kids confirmed the fact he was an older man to her, it'd also confirm that there was more reason for him not to risk his life. Though he'd bring them up to state he was a worthy opponent to Bijuu? He thought he somehow compared to the might of Matabi. "What a delusional fool, no human has matched us since the great sage." Matabi would scuff in complete disbelief, as well as a detested tone over the words. The two-tailed beast had very little faith in shinobi, it was something the jounin had been used to by now. Etsuko's stare was certain and though aimed at Chono, seemed to be merely peering through him. "You believe your kids and are willing to potentially die by that belief?" The jounin would question her words lacked the robust tone of her opponent, it'd be almost painfully clearly the jounin hadn't been all in the fight. Her words seemed more questioning the angle of the battle, as it'd once again and likely always make no sense. Ryu's words playing back in her head, as she'd try to see this tournament as something important. It was like the milestones in her past. No. Those had made so much more sense to her. "As someone without parents I suppose I can't see the trouble in that..." She'd state then lower her head and seem to kind of detach. She didn't even look to the referee, nor would she nod to him in acknowledgement. Had she ever not been ready for combat? Was there a world where the potential wasn't always around the corner. Could she be living in this world already. She didn't know what to really believe in that moment, but she still believed in her chances at winning. She still believed Matabi was better than anything this man held secret. She knew nothing of Chono though, she'd cared little of politics and people. If he wasn't her target, then he wasn't anyone at all. Etsuko seemed even more lose in the realm of her seal, as she'd kept her back to Matabi almost the entire time they'd talked. "The fight is beginning Etsuko." Matabi would state in a bewildered tone, as she'd take a deep breath through her nostrils attempting to catch Etsuko attention. Maybe the desert heat had left the jounin unable to detect the hot winds of her Bijuu. The man's attack would trigger the Takigakure jounin's body to come to life, she'd not be dissuaded by the sudden pillars. The size change would give them more wind friction as well weight to slow them down. Their apparent size also making them more than a weapon, but instead an obstacle to the jounin. Hoping over the incoming weapons, she'd use the metal to kick off and head towards her target. She'd see the Ninjutsu get used midair and thus have the time to lace her feet in chakra. It was no secret technique or village exclusive non-sense. It was something she'd seen and handled. Her whole life was training, missions or soul crushing near loneliness. She'd despite a tinge of estranged distraction still be quite the instinctual fighter. Chakra wouldn't only surge to her feet, after activating water walking, she'd also funnel chakra to her sword. Grabbing the handles of two she'd draw both and send two cutting crescents of chakra at the man. A greeting before she'd drop in on him swinging both swords down. With his opponent having seemed completely unsurprised by the senbon turned steel girders Chono quickly concluded that she was at least fairly seasoned or well trained, likely both. That meant that surprise was probably out of the pool as a way to win leaving brute force, experience and potentially luck on his side.

As the girl came down from the air towards him drawing her blades as she fell Chono could see the highly condensed chakra upon them as her wrists snapped to launch them towards him. He knew the technique very well as it was one he used often. Turning his feet, the giant's muscles would tense for just an instant before his entire body was moving at his peak speed away from the blasts as well as the girls slashes that would have followed them.

Chono only moved a short distance away before he perfectly stopped on a single step, pivoted on his foot to do a one eighty and slash with his own blade that was now brimming with chakra to launch an arc that was leveled along the ground in an attempt to force his opponent to take to the air once again. As his sword continued its path of movement, Chono would begin to spin with it, grabbing a kunai in his left hand as he did so. Within, but a moment both his weapons, armor and own body had expanded and now spun like a top towards his opponent with the sword acting as the main threat and the kunai being aimed low to keep her from getting in close. While the outcome of his first technique had seemed to not surprise the girl at all, perhaps as a fellow bukijutsu practitioner she would be appreciate the speed that came from techniques that did not require handseals.

DESCRIPTION:

A very simple technique, by using chakra the user is able to instantly accelerate their selves to their max speed. This can be done in just about any condition, but any techniques that slow the user's movement (such as armor from jutsu or most jutsu that might slow an individual) will still affect them.

The opposite to accelerate, decelerate effectively allows the user to instantly disperse all their momentum and stop on a dime as it were. This technique however can only be used for movement and the user must be touching the ground. This can not stop the user from taking damage from a fall nor can it stop their movement when being hit from an attack.

DESCRIPTION: In order to utilize this technique the user must have some sort of weapon on their person. For the most part the user will perform the technique, much like one would perform the human bullet tank. The two exceptions to this is that they will leave their arms untucked with a blade in one or both hands and will proceed to spin. Rather than spin end over end however, they'll spin on like a top, holding their blade(s) as they do so; effectively turning the Akimichi clan member into a spinning top of death. This technique is best used in conjunction with chakra reactive blades (especially those that can be used in conjunction with the multi-size techniques) and blade enhancing techniques like the sabre technique.

Head Check

Miho was watching the fight from the sidelines, looking on as her mentor and possibly only connection to her past was in combat. Did she have all the faith in the world that he would succeed, she was trying her best to remain within the moment. After all, this was only a combination of tournament and a sign of honor. One of which that she believed that was her fate. It was what she would have dreamed of..at a time. When she was high off the thrill of battle. To see the enemy fall at her feet... To enjoy the torment that they went through in defeat... That was the person she was, but she was no longer that individual..though now she was once again in that element. Seeing the only family she had left going forth to represent their village and make them feel better about themselves. Perhaps there was more to it, but in truth, it wasn't all that valid. Not to the extent that she could imagine

A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi There was a definite sense of surprise when the opponent immediately sped forward, she'd not expect such a maneuver pulled off by someone so large. It however wasn't enough to completely dismantle her, she'd spin near mid jump to relocate his body. Her feet landing on the summoned swamp, as she'd concentrate her glare upon the man. Quick wasn't enough to just throw off Etsuko, she'd honed herself to fight at speeds most could barely comprehend. The fact she couldn't let loose with her defining technique was annoying, but last fight she was allowed to use the technique it didn't work out like she planned. A great amount of repair work was needed to fix her main weapon. He'd not entirely surprise her in using the technique she loved, but did he have the same type of reserves to abuse that technique? She'd doubt it again agreeing with Matabi and assuming this man had no idea the enemies he faced. She'd take in a deep breath enriching the air with her chakra, as she'd bounce up over the sabre technique. He'd wanted her airborne, but she didn't fear the disposition. He'd likely done it to remove her ability to dodge, but she was the rabbit of the battlefield for jumping. Acrobatics allowed Etsuko to have a constant high ground, as she wasn't able to fly she was still able to bend the wind around her. The baggy cloak allowing her to yank herself up with an incredible roar of wind. "HIYAH!" The woman would scream, as she'd fling over the spinning top shinobi. Dodging the massive blade and kunai, it was definitely impressive to see a shinobi not use hand signs. It however was the classic trait of a good bukijutsu expert, it was why she'd rely more on sabre technique and her S-rank than anything else. A much larger target Etsuko would swing down at the Akimichi, she'd hope in his spinning state and enlarged state he'd suffer the casualty of a hit. Her nostrils flaring as she'd begin to charge up another breath and once again yank her from a strike. SPOILER: Click to show NAME: Harikēn no Dengeki [Hurricane Blitz] RANK: A-rank CHAKRA USAGE: High CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: Fuuton DESCRIPTION: Swiftly applying chakra to the users every breath as well as filling their lungs with it, the user will greatly increase the flow of wind with their every exhale, it causes the user motions to jerk as if being tugged by strings, as well as causes every blow to have a strong wind current behind it, enough to make baggy clothes a risk in combat against a user of this technique. Each exhale of the user is exclaimed with a battle cry to intimidate the opponent, but the chakra released projects out in a manner to channel out across the arms and legs, but booming from the mouth to expand out to these points. The users attacks take longer to charge up, but each attack has twice the speed, pressure and jump behind it. Wind being free flowing doesn't increase the strength of attacks though and an iron defense couldn't be breached by this technique, it's more to overwhelm other swordsmen. [Akimichi Chono]

As Chono continued his spin he could feel the lack of his blade making any connection. Soon enough Chono would see why, specifically see the young woman's figure from within the recess formed of his shoulders his head currently resided in. While the surprise of her going for the top caught Chono a bit off guard, his slightly delayed reaction allowing for her blade to catch some of his shoulder muscle and carve away a small amount of flesh with his recessed head and the two armored straps running over his shoulders being the only thing to save him from worse wounds, the girl would quickly realize why Chono had assumed the girl would not attack the seemingly open top. With, but a turning of his wrist, the main blade would go from slashing through the air far to his sides and quickly tip upwards to make the space above him effectively a blender.

Whether or not this attack would wound her Chono had finally decided that the time for facing her sword to sword had likely passed. The girl's speed was something he could not hope to match and so he would need to rely on the raw strength he hoped she could not match. Summoning chakra forward Chono's size would increase, much faster and going to a size much larger than before. For the majority of the transformation Chono attempted to keep his head within its recess until he neared his full height.

DESCRIPTION:

The ultimate technique for increasing one's body size. This technique allows the user to increase their mass by one hundred and twenty-six times. As the user has effectively become a giant, it is quite obvious to see the uses of the technique, as it vastly increases the user's strength and durability in comparison to a normal sized individual. Additionally it has the potential to allow the user to cover large stretches of terrain as a single step could account for several minutes of walking of not more.

A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi Etsuko prepared her technique prior to dodge again, she'd slip out of the man's blender just as it'd start. The cloak wasn't something she'd could acceptably keeping using, it'd get discarded upon landing on the ground. However this man wouldn't give her much time to use this speed, as he'd suddenly prove a feat she didn't believe possible. He'd grow himself like a massive summon or giant animal, he'd exceed any stature capable in her mind of a shinobi. Her pupils would shrink, as her shoulders would shiver. Fear? No, she'd be excited to see what could come of age and time, he'd given her new goals to stride too. He'd prove there was something further that could be obtained without Matabi. Something she'd need to obtain to get Matabi's respect. Shifting away from the man who could easily end her in one step, she'd swing her arms to send out two more blades of chakra. She'd aim for his boots, as he'd likely have the least amount of time to dodge. However her attack would most certainly fail to the enlarged layer of metal. It'd prove this transformation was no mere illusion, it'd also prove there wasn't a clear massive drawback. Though size did come with an overwhelming force of gravity, it was something the jounin had known only once. It was something she couldn't fathom. She'd not expect it in this tournament of glory, she'd start planning her shadow of colossus attack on the man. Then be interrupted. "Etsuko! You're going to need my power for this one, brace yourself!" Matabi would not state to her host, she'd scream her ears out causing the jounin's focus to shift. Inside her mind things could be still a moment, she couldn't freeze time, but she could subconsciously retreat and talk to Matabi. There was a certain fierceness in Matabi's face, it'd off put the jounin, as she'd see it with the words quite unexpected. There'd be no trading of words, a quick nod of acceptance and a sudden shift of chakra. Matabi would seem to pour out her prison and over Etsuko, it'd overwhelm the jounin, but she'd embrace the fire nonetheless. The crowd would watch as the jounin was out-sized by her elite opponent, as she'd retreat in a blurred motion of her enhanced speed. Then abruptly the kunoichi would explode. Smoke would surround her body, but it'd out spread in a blast equivalent to a boss summon. If not a little larger than most, it'd be the bijuu's right to scale above most summons. That was in fact what the cloud hid, a full bijuu in all it's glory. A sudden violent hissing roar would shattered the battlefield and accompanying stands. Two-tails would violently whip from the smoke cloud, as the roar would shift the cats fur alive and blow all the cover away. The beasts eyes were closed at first an almost violent grin upon the creatures face. Had a Bijuu truly been released near a full city and live crowd? Things were about to get harry, at least that'd likely be everyone's notion. There'd been few Jinchuuriki who'd spent this amount of time with their Bijuu and gone without incident let alone simply losing control. It'd make more sense to most likely to see the bijuu free. However as the creature opened it's eyes, it'd peer up at the still larger opponent and drop it's jaw. "You still tower over me?!" Etsuko would mutter with a flabbergasted look upon her face, her eye right eye lid slightly twitching. "Remember Etsuko your chakra control in this form is unbearable, so please don't try to use any of your jutsu. We both know you'll fail..." It'd be spoken by Matabi within Etsuko's mind, but she couldn't turn to the voice as though her friend didn't exist. Or it was as though she didn't exist. Matabi seemed to understand the state of things fine, but Etsuko felt like she'd lost a safe place. She needed to get it back, her focus could only settle on her opponent. Claws of fire dug into sand likely churning into glass under the pressure and heat of the massive monster. SPOILER: Click to show NAME: Harikēn no Dengeki [Hurricane Blitz] RANK: A-rank CHAKRA USAGE: High CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: Fuuton DESCRIPTION: Swiftly applying chakra to the users every breath as well as filling their lungs with it, the user will greatly increase the flow of wind with their every exhale, it causes the user motions to jerk as if being tugged by strings, as well as causes every blow to have a strong wind current behind it, enough to make baggy clothes a risk in combat against a user of this technique. Each exhale of the user is exclaimed with a battle cry to intimidate the opponent, but the chakra released projects out in a manner to channel out across the arms and legs, but booming from the mouth to expand out to these points. The users attacks take longer to charge up, but each attack has twice the speed, pressure and jump behind it. Wind being free flowing doesn't increase the strength of attacks though and an iron defense couldn't be breached by this technique, it's more to overwhelm other swordsmen. [Akimichi Chono]

With his form ceasing to expand, the world could now see the main reason he had earned the moniker of Konohagakure's "Indomitable Titan" so many years ago in the Third Shinobi War. His eyes would see a blur of motion on the ground and two blasts of chakra would soon make contact with the metal plates covering his leg, producing sizeable gouges in comparison to a normal size body, but for his current size they were little more than scratches on the armor.

Just as he readied himself to launch a renewed assault a massive cloud of smoke would burst outwards from where his opponent had been, eventually dissipating to reveal the Nibi in all its splendor. There was a deadly beauty to the beast, with its dark flames curling here and there to shroud what could only be considered its 'body' beneath the flames.

Chono would move his equally enlarged blade to rest lightly on the strap of his armor going over his shoulder, his left hand reaching around to a pouch located below the small of his back. As he did so the titan of a shinobi heard his opponent say how he was still larger than her. He could not help, but let his serious demeanor drop for a moment as he had a small chuckle.

"I told you that I had a better chance than most."

The fiery haired man gave a smile to emphasize his statement, his legs lowering slightly and eyes narrowing as he reassumed his determined demeanor for the fight at hand. A few heartbeats went past as Chono was debating the best course of action to take. He had never fought the Nibi so he was a bit in the dark. This meant he was going to have to play it safe to a certain extent, as he was not sure how much damage the flames shrouding the beast might do to him. He would need to rely heavily on his sword, gear and his other ninjutsu for most his attacks.

What made matters worse was that by the rules of the engagement he couldn't utilize his calorie control, meaning he would have to solely rely on his own chakra reserves. While they weren't small by any means he knew he could not hope to outlast a bijuu. So not only did he have to fight with a certain level of caution, he would simultaneously need to push the fight to an end as quickly as he could.

To that end Chono's current plan was to wait for his opponent to move and the moment she did he would toss up one of his multi-sized flash bombs and press the attack with his blade. It was a simple plan, but Chono was hoping that he would have more experience fighting at this size than she did.

[Jun Etsuko]

A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi "I give you all this power and you repay me with that remark. How embarrassing..." Matabi wasn't happy at all towards the words her host spoke, she'd also be displeased to see the man's joy unhampered. This wasn't the reaction she'd hoped for or expected, but she'd mostly acted out of fear for Etsuko. The jounin was brash and stubborn, especially with both their lives. There was little room in Matabi's mind she'd be making an appearance, but there was a live audience and all the village leaders? There wasn't the type of crowd you'd face on your own, even as a bijuu. It'd seem that neither giant man nor burning cat would jump. A rather strange image, but a sensible one when all things came into play. Etsuko didn't have the control or comfort in Matabi's form to back her confidence. There wasn't an immediate right move for the jounin to make, she was actually still feeling out her new muscles? She couldn't quite explain the feeling of a bijuu form, it definitely wasn't a human feeling. Though strangely enough the heat was gone, it was all completely gone. Her mind not leaving the battle, she'd scan the ground for weapons. Rocks none small enough to be swords. Matabi would pick up on the jounin's focus quickly, there wasn't that back to forth talking, but now Matabi very clearly saw her jounin's intents. "Your opponent focus on him, we've got plenty of weapons and speed with my body. Prepare to pounce, Etsuko..." Matabi would attempt to coach, but even as Etsuko's focus went to the man she'd get distracted. There was no teaching from anyone to use claws, it'd be advice of Matabi, but it wasn't anything the jounin understand. A part of her questioning how to use them, but another part of her cockily wanted to stick to her guns. "I can see you want me to make the first move, but I'm a sword specialist a little out of my element." A statement with dual meanings, as katon wasn't even the element Etsuko felt most comfortable. Though something about the blue cloak felt so amazing, it seemed to almost sting and drain by the water. In the sun it just roared and cackled, maybe even glassing some of the sand beneath her feet. "How about you giving me a weapon, then I'll oblige and we can have a 'fair' fight?" It was a very bold statement, but with the moment given by the man. She couldn't help trying to harp on his kindness. She'd likely not get much more than a moment, so her body was tense and ready to evade. This wasn't at all a battle of true heat or reason, but instead some dolled up spar for the masses. None probably knew the two fighters would gain greater masses than their entire combined mass. The man did it alone, but that didn't make Etsuko small. She'd feel small in his shadow, but she'd also be soaking less sun. He'd even be dealing with more than just the sun, she was practically a giant space heater with legs and tails. [Akimichi Chono]

Although Chono had been expecting an attack at any moment from the girl, instead he got some surprising words from her. A request for a weapon from your opponent during a fight? His forced seriousness was yet again cracked as deep booming chuckle escaped from his body.

"I must say that the first time someone's so nicely asked for a weapon from me in a fight. Perhaps you wouldn't believe me, but I'd actually give you one if I could, but long story short it wouldn't work out for you."

Moving his pointer finger from the hilt of the sword it would point down towards the murky swamp water he currently straddled with the pillars of steel he had thrown noticeably now absent from sight reverted to their tiny forms and probably lost somewhere in the muck or in the surrounding sand. With the finger returning to it's position his hand would tighten on the hilt slightly as the mirth faded from his face.

"Sadly you'll have to settle for a different gift."

With that Chono's left hand went out from behind his back with a paper sphere with some writing cupped in his hand with two shuriken clutched between his fingers. With a single smooth action the ball was thrown up into the air a small ways and the arm that threw it snapped back downwards to throw the massive shuriken. The shuriken however were not thrown directly towards the Bijuu's form, but rather thrown a certain distance to either side in the hope of preventing the beast from going to the sides and instead keeping it in front of Chono.

As the slabs of steel went out to the beast's side while his eyes closed just as the paper sphere a ways above his head detonated in a brilliant flash of blinding light. Immediately after the flash his eyes would shoot open and he would return to a familiar sight as he began to spin with his blade held out and a smaller kunai now being moved up and down on the side to make a bubble of slices in all directions around him while the sword itself would be kept on level with the Nibi, both of the blades already seeped with chakra to increase their size didn't take too much more manipulation to cover their cutting surfaces as well.

NAME: Ninnin Kaiten Ken [Human Rotating Blade]

DESCRIPTION:

In order to utilize this technique the user must have some sort of weapon on there person. For the most part the user will perform the technique, much like one would perform the human bullet tank. The two exceptions to this is that they will leave their arms untucked with a blade in one or both hands and will proceed to spin. Rather than spin end over end however, they'll spin on like a top, holding their blade(s) as they do so; effectively turning the Akimichi clan member into a spinning top of death. This technique is best used in conjunction with chakra reactive blades (especially those that can be used in conjunction with the multi-size techniques) and blade enhancing techniques like the sabre technique.

The flash bomb is a small paper sphere with the kanji for light painted onto one side, with the hiragana for "A" painted on the other.


ABILITIES:

Like any flash bomb, it is capable of temporarily blinding anyone who is looking at it when it goes off. Additionally it is compatible with the Akimichi multi-size technique.

[Jun Etsuko]

A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi Maybe being infused with Matabi's body gave her catlike senses or reflexes, or maybe it was because the item had light written on the side of it. The thing so large she'd be able to easily see the print. Her sense of purpose and battle prowess would kick in, as she'd been preparing herself to dodge. He'd give into her kind words and to that she couldn't understand. It was more or less a test of the situation, she wondered if the man would play into her game. He would, but he'd not deliver on a weapon. He'd have the ability throw attacks, she'd be stuck in a position to receive them. An opening though would be created, an instance where his attention wouldn't be fully aware. She'd let the scripture of his reactions drive her own. His eyes in the upper part of her peripheral. Hers shutting immediately after his own, as she'd lunge forward with the only strategy that made sense. It was the one Matabi gave moments earlier, as well as the one she'd given against the Ame Lord. Battle was often simple there weren't always openings, so waiting for them and jumping on them was the key to victory some times. Etsuko was piloting the fastest Bijuu's body, so when she decided to move she'd hustle. There wasn't the greatest gap between her and the man, as she'd not moved since changing and only retreated what her tiny form could. Hopefully with his guard down she'd be able to jump him, she didn't have a weapon or a significant plan. She'd spread her arms near the end of her jump, essentially blindly trying to hug the man in one leap. Face planting somewhere around his chest, as she'd hope to paw at his cloak. She still didn't know how to extend the Nibi claws of her cloak, so it'd be kitty paw prints and not gripping claws. Her face likely mushed into his chest, as both her tails would swirl out and around for the man's arms. She'd used the cloaks tails to wield her swords, so she'd merely try to mimic that feeling. Her motions all going to places on the man covered in armor. Thankfully for him, but her form was fire. It wasn't some chakra illusion, her very presence would bring on the heat. Her feet swaying in the air, as she'd open her eyes a second or two after Chono. Unlike him she didn't know the flash bombs length in depth. She just assumed light meant flash bomb. SPOILER: Click to show Strategy, don't use jutsu use Matabi strengths. Based on the size of your charrie and thus transformed item, I think the Kanji print would be large enough to note and question. Etsuko was raised from a baby to be a shinobi, I think I could accomplish this based on battle sense more than an SA, but if you don't agree I can edit. I'm also sorry Chono was nice about replying and not tricking her. Etsuko has a very poor moral compass based on her past, also being out sized she'll likely think it's fair she take advantage of any perceived opening. BIJUU ABILITIES Fastest Bijuu~! #1 While some people don't realize it, the Nibi is the fastest of all the Bijuu. This is in terms of mere speed as well as reflexes and as such it imparts these abilities to its host. Lastly it should be noted that these abilities only get more potent as a Jinchuuriki goes from their normal human state, through the chakra shroud states and to the full bijuu form. Speed is the trait Etsuko takes most from Matabi. Cloak of Flame~! #2 While in chakra shroud or full bijuu states, the Nibi is capable of producing a cloak of fire surrounding their body. These flames burn with a great intensity and more importantly are unable to be put out with water. In fact, upon the introduction of water the flames only burn hotter and spread more easily. The only way to put out these flames is through the use of fuuinjutsu or by smothering them with enough earth. Matabi's fire can be expelled from her mouth like a projectile, in her bijuu form the heat of the flame and the lack of hand signs needed to cast her techniques make them almost on an S-rank katon's scale. Thanks to cloak of flame Etsuko gains a major advantage on those of her element. Beast Claws~! #3 One of the more simply, but deadly techniques at the Nibi's disposal is the razor sharp claws it has. Even while the Jinchuuriki is in their normal human form, they are capable of growing claws on their hands which are capable of slashing through most materials with ease. Upon going into a chakra shroud state or full bijuu mode, these claws become capable of cutting through all, but the strongest of defensive techniques. An ability that Etsuko doesn't see quite as advantageous, but perfect for situations you might forget to have brought a weapon to. Full Release Etsuko: An illusion of full control, Matabi is capable of giving Etsuko, almost all of her chakra reserving only enough to exist still in the cell. Matabi would only do this in an extreme situation with possibly a sage or other summoner who had beasts beyond a ninja's handling. Upon giving Etsuko the chakra Etsuko only has the briefest of time to react, as she's not quite fused with her Bijuu it's much easier for her to waste all of her chakra in this form. When entering this form the area is blasted with a puff of smoke, in the smokes wake the Nibi will appear to have been summoned. However the flames of Nibi will be more on edge, it's facial expression will be much more innocent, as any scowl will be replaced with an expression of complete confusion. Matabi however won't be in control it'll be Etsuko's mind set and words spoken when the Nibi talked. Matabi able to coach Etsuko via the immense chakra, but Etsuko isn't capable of most of the Matabi's feats. Instead Etsuko will typically use her tails to fight and if possible find a large enough object to mimic a sword and fight with it instead of teeth and claws. Matabi is discouraged by Etsuko's usage of her body, but Etsuko's control over Matabi's abilities have always been limited. The large advantage of being in this form, is not only our there two consciousnesses, but the seal on Etsuko remains and only enlarges preventing the use of other sealing techniques on the Tailed Beast form.
