But victory comes with its costs. The Sentinels have returned. And the X-Men's home has once again been destroyed, this time by the mysterious Project Aegis, forcing each hero to choose: stand with their one-time enemies, or hide to protect their own?



A new way to resist has risen in the X-Men’s wake. The Defiance, a pro-mutant movement, uses guerilla media tactics to reveal truths the government doesn’t want you to hear. Less extreme than the Brotherhood, they are still uncompromising in their ideals and pursuit of justice for ALL mutantkind.
