Carefully, Matoi took out the set of weights she had borrowed specifically for this day. Each piece was hefty, adding significant resistance to every movement she would make.

She becomes part of The Storm itself, giving her near immunity to other Raiton-based attacks. The caveat of this is she is incapable of learning any other elemental natures outside of her natural Raiton.

『Purple Lightning』

Having spent several years training her ability in using ninjutsu, specifically Raiton, few of her age has reached the level of mastery she has.

Some may call the element erratic and dangerous, but she has complete control over the bolts of energy she can create. Not only are the raiton techniques which Matoi utilizes much more powerful than standard, they're also a bright purple in color.

She shook out her arms and legs, loosening the stiffness, preparing them for the another assault of physical exertion.

Taking a long, steady breath, she focused on the path ahead. The track beckoned, a looping ribbon of earth that challenged her to conquer it once more.

Finally, allowing herself to slow down, Matoi's legs trembled with the aftershock of her exertion. She bent forward slightly, hands on her knees, catching her breath, her heart pounding like thunder in her chest.

She is able to transform part or the entirety of her body using the Divine Lightning Body and is able to pass through objects that are reactive to lightning. Practically the embodiment of lightning, she can use her skills to increase the speed, reactions and fighting capability significantly.

She becomes part of The Storm itself, giving her near immunity to other Raiton-based attacks. The caveat of this is she is incapable of learning any other elemental natures outside of her natural Raiton.

Having spent several years training her ability in using ninjutsu, specifically Raiton, few of her age has reached the level of mastery she has.

Some may call the element erratic and dangerous, but she has complete control over the bolts of energy she can create. Not only are the raiton techniques which Matoi utilizes much more powerful than standard, they're also a bright purple in color.

She looked around, noticing that the training grounds were getting even busier as the day wore on, and more shinobi arrived, ready to start their day with rigorous workouts.

Not wanting to monopolize the track any longer and still eager to maintain the intensity of her training, Matoi decided it was time to add a different element to her routine.

She jogged over to the storage shed located near the edge of the training fields. Inside, she rummaged through various training equipment until her hand found the item she was looking for - a jump rope.

The simple tool was another excellent way to build speed and endurance, and it would allow her to continue to train in a smaller area, giving others access to the full track.

Grabbing the rope, Matoi headed back to a quieter corner of the grounds. She uncoiled the rope and positioned herself on the flat patch of earth she had picked. The jump rope was light in her hands, contrasting the heavy weights she was still wearing.

With a flick of her wrists, she started the rope swinging. The first few jumps were a bit clumsy as she adjusted to the rhythm and the added weight on her limbs. But soon, she found her pace, and the rope whistled through the air with each turn.

Each jump sent a small jolt through her body, reminding her of the extra challenge she had imposed on herself. She focused on breathing evenly, maintaining a steady pace that allowed her to jump continuously without faltering.

The sun was high now, its light warming her as she jumped. The sounds of ropes hitting the ground, kunai knives thudding into wooden targets, and distant sparring matches filled the air, the sounds of typical morning activities in the shinobi training grounds.

Matoi increased the speed of her jumps, turning the rope faster, challenging her coordination and stamina. She could feel the burn in her calves and the fatigue building in her shoulders from the rapid movement of the rope and her steady jumps.

"Focus... endurance," she muttered to herself, each word punctuated with a jump. She visualized herself in the field, dodging and weaving with the same agility and speed that she practiced here, each jump translating into a survival skill.

After several intense minutes, Matoi's breaths were coming in quick gasps, and her muscles screamed for a break. She allowed herself to slow down, letting the rope come to a stop. As she caught her breath, she couldn't help but feel a surge of pride.

Breathing heavily, Matoi removed the weights from her limbs, feeling instantly lighter. The contrast was exhilarating, her body suddenly agile and untethered. She shook out her arms and legs, appreciating the freedom of movement after the prolonged restriction.

With the weights off, she decided to try a few jumps without the added resistance. She resumed her position, rope in hand, and started to swing it again. This time, the jumps were effortless, almost as if she was floating. The lightness of her body allowed her to increase the speed even more, turning the rope with a brisk efficiency that felt like flying.
