The Senju felt surprised by the hug, feeling her arms around his neck, unsure how to act at the demonstration of affection. He would reply the hug with an embrace of his own, understanding that she would also need it as a reaffirmation of his pride for the girl. Before they separated and Kazuto crowned her with the headband that used to belong to his sister he would stare at her. reaffirming that his decision about giving her such an important memento was not only signified his trust on her, but also that he was ready to keep on with his life, allowing for guilt to sleep away from him, having found the strength to forgive himself.

"There's nothing to tank, little one." He said to her, shining a smile to her as he would raise to his feet. The girl that he had taken, seen promise under her and would not only take her first steps but also learn to be a better individual as he passed down what he had lived, so she could leanr of his mistake. But why he hadn't any need of her thanks, was due the fact that she had put all of her effort and that she had allowed himself to heal from the wounds of the past. He could never repay her for that.

He looked behind to the proctor, still arranging the paperwork only to look back at Kazuto, both glancing at each other before there was a subtle nod of acknowledgement and thanks respectively. He separated from Kazui and walked towards the desk, receiving a package that Kazui would have to go through later, all detailing what her new duties and expectations for her position. "Go on, Kazui, I'll buy you lunch, we should celebrate." He told her, escorting her out of the room.

The warm embrace of the hug was the only way the girl could truly express the way she felt in the moment, where her words seemed limited, all she could think to say at that moment was thank you, but that along wasn’t sufficient enough to show her gratitude toward the jonin who had gone out of his way to train her. Everything she did up until now was a byproduct of her becoming Kazuto’s student. Without him surely she would still be in the academy.

"Hmm.”

The girl would muse with a nod of her head. Once everything was handled, and the girl finally had her headband and certification for graduating from the ninja academy, the two men would look at one another as they nodded their heads, a sorta thanks the girl supposed, for letting Kazuto be present for the Uchiha’s examination. From there, the Senju would return to the desk from which he came. A package in his hand as he dismissed Kazui, telling the young teen that he would buy her food for celebration. She wasn’t used to things of the nature, but she wouldn’t turn it down either. A smile on her face as she nodded and agreed.

"Okay, Master Kazuto.”

The Uchiha would say softly before stepping to the side and giving the other proctor a slight bow, to show her appreciation for him taking his time to conduct the exams. After that, she would make her way out of the room and would head home.

The Senju would leave the academy, still with the package in hand. Even when the contents were supposed to be a secret, if he recalled correctly to his time as a freshly minted genin, they would have basic information and an introduction package that would aid his apprentice when she was assigned to a team of her own under a Jonin teacher. Alas, he hoped her teacher was a Jonin and one with experience at that, not the mistake that had been made by the former Hokage to place a Chunin leading a team to lead children fresh from the academy. As he walked through the streets, he shook his head, trying to dispel away the insecurities that such times of his life had been. Kazuto had been a different person of who he had been.

As he settled in the ramen restaurant, he would await for Kazui to arrive, drinking a cold glass of water as he allowed time to pass and the girl to arrive. He wondered to what teacher she would be assigned, he also thought that he would have to modulate his lessons so no to overburden the girl when she would have lessons and training of her own with what her teacher would plan, also he imagined that Hiruko would have something to teach her as well. The whole methodology of study would have to be reconsidered and whilst he thought of it as something of a problem, he simply accepted what had to be done and place it into his mental cue.

"Different training methods as well." Kazuto would muse, releasing out a mutter before he would shake his head again. It would do him no good to dwell in what could be, rather he should focus in the present and await for his student to enter, so they could finally discuss what their plans would be moving forward and what the village would expect from her.

Kazui returned home, hoping to relay the good news to Hiruko, only to find out that the lady was not at home. A sigh escaped from the girl as the quietness of the house reminded her of the time she spent at her old home. She wasn’t upset however. the girl knew that Hiruko was busy a lot and so there was no need for her to worry. Placing the certificate on the table, Kazui would make her way back out of the house, and through the village looking for her sensei.

’Hmm, where could he be?’ The Uchiha would ask herself as she walked through the streets, trying to think to see if she knew what Kazuto’s favorite food was, perhaps that would lead her to his location. Barbecue? Hmm..probably not. Kazui peaked inside the restaurant to find that Kazuto was in fact not there. So she went on to the next shop, and did this process until she eventually came upon the ramen shop. Pulling the drapes to the side, and peaking inside, she would see her master sitting alone, with a package resting in front of him.

"Master Kazuto..”

Kazui would say as she grabbed a seat beside him. It looked as if he were deep in thought before she made her presence known, the girl hoped she did not disturb his train of thought.

"Is everything okay?”

She would ask curiously.

"Hmm?" Kazuto would manage, snapping his staring towards the girl as she sat next to him. He had stared blankly, he had realized now. He cleared his throat and settled in his seat before he would eye his student and grant her a genuine smile of appreciation. He looked at the headband that had belonged to his sister safely secured upon her forehead and nodded before setting his sight on the girl again. "All's good." He tried to hell her reassuringly before turning towards a waiter so they could have two menus, although he was already certain of what he would order and had a good guess of what she would do.

"You can order whatever you want. It's my treat" He told her before looking at the package, opening its contents when the waiter had taken their orders. A debriefing came with the information about her rank and what she should expect on her early days of her training as genin. He would wonder how disappointed she would be to find out that her first missions would be mundane babysitting jobs, picking up herbs or even looking for cats that had escaped the embrace of a noblewoman. But still she had to learn, she wasn't ready for the reality of combat as a shinobi.

"I'll cut to the chase." He said. Trying to carefully choose the correct words to tell her what would the first days, weeks and even months would be. "Your early missions won't be exciting. These are assigned by rank and skill level. So unless your skills evolve at an extraordinary pace, this is meant that between your training with your team and your personal training you will develop at a steady pace." He said. The Senju's eyes would drift towards information that was printed upon the paper.

"This means that I will have to develop a new training regime for you, so we don't run the risk of overtaxing your body. You will need rest to grow stronger and I still have missions and duties of my own." He said, speakins simply as a matter of fact before he would look at her again. "Besides, I'm certain that your future team leader and Hiruko-san will have much to teach her, so we need to be careful not to trample on the lessons of others so you become a splendid kunoichi."

"Hmm..okay. Whatever you say.”

The girl would muse as she grabbed a seat at the counter. Her eyes fixed on the package for a moment before turning to look at how clean and neat the restaurant was. It was amazing that a restaurant with so many customers could remain almost spotless throughout the entire day, she didn’t expect that from a regular noodle shop. Kazui didn’t think about the situation much thought, Kazuto said that he was alright, and so she believed him. She had no reason to question him, and as the girl settled in, the waiter would make his way over to the two, handing them both menus before heading off again.

Kazui would bow her head in gratitude before spinning the menu around a few times. Her eyes traced the outside of the menu as she looked over all the specials and the fan favorite meals.

"Hmm anything I want?”

She would mumble to herself as her eyes scanned the various options that the chef had to offer. There were just so many to choose from. Miso Ramen? Sure let’s go with that.’ The girl would think to herself as her eyes continued to search for something that might catch her attention even more. The girl did this until Kazuto had drawn forth the package that she was oh so curious about.

Her heart dropped at his beginning words. Cutting to the chase was never a good thing. At least that’s what the young girl thought. It usually came before delivering bad news. Was he going to stop training her now that she was genin? The girl slouched a bit in her seat as the Senju spoke. Oh it was about her missions types and what not.

"Ah, a friend of mine told me that, and truthfully I’m okay with that, as long as I get to become stronger in the process.”

She would say with a bit of joy to her tone. While she would have of course loved to go on all the exciting, thrilling missions, she knew better than to expect them. She was content with just doing whatever she was given, as a shinobi, a title that she had worked so hard to attain. Now was not the time to be hanging her worries and the types of missions she would receive, the girl was only grateful to be a part of the shinobi forces.

"Understood.”

The girl would say softly at the fact that they would have to switch up on her training regime, since Hiruko and her teacher would also have a bit of pull of her schedule. It didn’t bother Kazui too much however. Whatever Kazuto thought was best, she would not challenge. Perhaps it could be a good thing for her, skill-wise.

The waiter eventually made his way back to the duo, and Kazui would point at the item on the menu.

"May I have the..Miso soup, but a smaller portion.”

She would add on since she wasn’t a heavy eater by any means. Large portions of food actually made her feel sick, and so she always ate a lot lighter than most.

"I'll have the same." Kazuto said before adding. "Medium plate." He said as his eyes followed the waiter until he returned his full attention towards the girl. He considered the words of her acceptance at the reality of what being a genin meant. If she was truthful then it would mean that she was much more mature that she gave her credit for. Still there were somethings that they needed to clear. Whilst she showed promise, he was uncertain on how her training progressed in regard of the abilities of her clan. He hadn't asked how far she was able to keep her sharingan active and if the effects had eased to deal with the strain on her body.

"I believe that at least on the first part of your training we will need to work your physical strength and stamina." The Senju would say, nothing at the small body that she had. He imagined that building some muscle as well as altering her diet would be helpful with this goal in mind. "It concerns me that you are small in terms of physicality. Whilst in practice I believe you have the skill set to keep your enemies at range, you need to prepare for close quarters combat." That was not to mention that the girl would fine her eyes more useful when her body could respond to the clairvoyant sight that the Sharingan could provide.

"Now, you may be wondering why am I not touching the subject of teamwork." He said as the waiter brought the bowls filled with the miso soup, letting the man leave until they would be alone to speak again. "I am confident your Jonin team leader will teach you the basics of teamwork." He said. It was very likely, and he was being hopeful for that at least, and that she could take her mind off the problems that had assailed her and the training that she would be submitted to, friends more often than not served to do that. "Any questions, little one?"

Kazui lowered her head and looked over her body, stomach arms and legs. She was fairly skinny, but no matter what she did she couldn’t find a way to actually gain weight. She didn’t like to over eat, and actually she refused to eat heavy meals. It was something that she was known to do ever since she was a child.

"If you say so..I guess”

The young girl would say softly as she waited for her food. She was getting stronger and stronger by the day, that was no doubt but she didn’t however need to work twice as hard as any other kid to achieve the same goal. She needed to train her physicality more, strength, speed and stamina were all key areas that she would need to focus on. A sigh escaped her lips as she began to feel as if she weren’t good enough to be a shinobi as she was. Quickly cutting her eyes to Kazuto, the girl would speak.

"I-I can handle my own! In any range..”

She would try to convince her teacher that she would be able to handle anything thrown at her. Her voice was childlike, and she was visibly pouting at the thought that she wasn’t exactly prepared. As for teamwork however, she knew that teamwork would have to be built up as she gets assigned to a team. Teamwork itself wasn’t hard for her to grasp, it was finding compatibility with her teammates that would prove to be the most difficult, the girl had not a clue as to who she would be paired with. Kazui nodded her head slowly, she understood that her team leader would be the main one to focus on teamwork, hopefully she had a dependable leader. There was one question that rested on the Uchiha’s mind.

"Do you know when I will get appointed to a team? Or who is on it?”

She would ask curiously as before taking a bite of her ramen.

"I'm sure you do little one, I won't be the one to put into doubt your abilities." He said, flashing a warm smile to his pupil. Still, she need to increment her physical stance as well as she would require to sharpen her battle skills when it came the time. The promise was clearly there of course and he would do his best to enhance them, groom them until they were what they promised them to be. He had made an oath of moment for that and he saw that she would. As the waiter came and placed the bowls of steaming miso soup, the Senju would await for the waiter to leave before she turned to hear, hearing the questions about her team.

"No, I do not. Usually teams aren't assemble two weeks before teams rally, that is when you will be assigned to your Jonin leader." He told her, it was of course the only actual reality about being a newly minted Genin. Uncertainty would settle as the time would pass. "Before that, you should also fill the paperwork. They will require you to submit some information of yours, just so they can start building a file, taking a picture, preferably with you headband on, they're very specific about it." He told her. He would take a soup and sip some of the miso soup, putting it down before he leaned back against his seat.

"Although I can tell you that teams are selected from the best and top students. Is a mixture of both, ideally this would make any team balanced. That way all members can develop at the same time and also cover their strengths and weaknesses when the time for the team to go to actual missions begins." It was perhaps more complicated than it should be, but he would at the very least provide her with the correct among of information, or at least what he remembered from his days at the academy and his early time as a genin. "It will be a big change, but I'm sure that you shall make great things, Kazui." He told her, granting her a smile as he looked for a second at his sister's headband upon her head and nodded, assuring himself that he had made the correct choice on bestowing her with such an important belonging to him. She would make justice of all of it.

"Hmph.”

The girl would muse at Kazuto’s words as her dark gaze drifted off towards the sides. It was safe to say that the girl was very confident in herself and work ethic, which was either a good thing or a bad thing. She believed in herself, it wasn’t anything new about her. Still if Kazuto believed she needed to sharpen up on her skills, then who was she to argue?

Her eyes returned forward as the miso soup was placed in front of the two shinobi. The bowls were steaming hot, and as the waiter pushed the bowls closer, Kazui could feel the heat radiating from the food.

"Thank you.”

The young Uchiha would say in an almost whisper-like tone as she slowly bowed her head in respect. Once the waiter walked away, Kazuto would answer the girl’s question about her team. It seemed he didn’t know who would be on her team exactly, but he did know the relative time she would be appointed to a team leader, which was before the teams rallied. ’Well, when do they rally?’ She would ask herself in her mind as she took a scoop of broth and began to drink cautiously so that she wouldn’t burn herself in anyway.

Dark hues returned to the Senju as he spoke. Paperwork? It made sense that she would have to get registered within the village’s shinobi ranks so that they could have some information about her, like her name, height, and weight in case something happened that required her information and things of the sort. Kazui shrugged her shoulders.

"That’s fine.”

She would say as she leaned closer to the bowl for another sip. Scooping the hot contents with the spoon before blowing the steam away and taking another sip. Kazuto then went on to explain how the teams were normally chosen. That meant she would be paired up with people she would be somewhat compatible with, probably, she wasn’t too sure. Kazui was used to doing things by herself so the whole team concept would take some time to get used to.

"Hai..I-I’ll try my best.”

She always did.
