Approved Clans
Clans have always been the backbone of any village. Almost always their members make up a majority of the higher ranked shinobi and are the power that allowed the village to be founded in the first place. Many clans have special bloodlines, some have secret techniques passed down the lines. In most instances however they are just a large family dedicated to their village and occasionally a particular style of fighting.

Approved Religions
While no where near as numerous as the various clans of the shinobi villages, the world does hold a large number of religions dedicated to the hundreds of gods that inhabit the world. These deities gift unique abilities to their dedicated followers in exchange for different prices, but their disdain for shinobi techniques is universal.
