Turning her eyes upward, Yumi watched as her teammates began to run towards the train after Sumire’s nod. Following them silently, Yumi leapt onto part of the train behind Sanosuke with her puppet and had Muyi grab onto the ladder that was there to keep her balanced. With her head resting gently on her puppet’s neck, Yumi would keep an ear out for any strange sounds or signals from her teammates. It seemed that the plan was to ambush the bandits that would inevitably attack the train they were on. And assuming none of her teammates were noticed, they should be able to pull it off. Their opponents would be in for quite the surprise when they launched their attacks.

Resting one hand on her scroll, Yumi waited patiently as the train chugged along. The moment she received word of the bandits, she would summon more of her friends. She would have to use the smaller ones though, seeing as how they were on a moving vehicle. It was unfortunate, but different situations require different methods of solving. Still, she was always prepared and tried to have a puppet for every encounter she might happen upon. Only time would tell if she was prepared enough.

The three would board the train, but remain mostly out of sight. Sanosuke's eyes were kept vigilant, but he would not yet find anything of note. Strangely, it was as if nothing was around at all, if he looked closely he might notice animals in the treeline. There was a lone deer wandering around, and a further distance away not yet noticed by the deer a pack of wolves.

Then, the wolves would turn their heads and change their attention entirely, hungry... The blip would appear before disappearing, a child - a young boy approximately the age of five - holding onto a teddy bear would come running out of the forest, sobbing crying.

"Please! Please help me!" The boy would cry waving at the train, hoping that someone would pick him up as the steam engine chugged away from him. As he burst from the tree line, he wasn't very fast, certainly no match for the wolves that seemed to erupt from the forest not long after him, he was only able to keep ahead of them for so long, tripping over one of the train tracks he would fall forward, stumbling to try and get away as the wolves barked and growled.

"No no! HELP ME!" He shouted out, a tiny hand reaching towards the train as the wolves descended upon him. The three shinobi had a choice, to keep on the train and let this boy die or... perhaps.. save him?

A deer, and a pack of wolves. A short burst of chakra, and not long after that a boy crying chasing after the train calling for help as the pack of wolves directs their attention to the youth. He trips and falls. Now the shinobi have a choice - save the boy or leave him to die.

Things just couldn't be nice and straightforward, even on a mission as easy as this one should have been. The shouts of a child hit her ears and she leaned up to see what the ruckus was about. It appeared to be some lost child about to be eaten by wolves. Pity. But not her concern, really. Sumire didn't see the point in helping the child. She had no idea who he was and she recognized that his untimely presence could easily be a trap. If it was just an untimely coincidence, then the boy should have been more careful than to go wandering in the woods alone. But, he was probably a citizen of Arashi, and therefore, under her protection - as was the duty of any Amegakure shinobi. Rolling her eyes, she molded a handseal as the train passed by, a clone appearing next to her in a puff of smoke. With a nod to her doppleganger, the clone pushed herself off the train and into the forest to go to the boy's aid. Sumire's job was to protect the train - she was going to protect the train. If it was just wolves, than the shadow clone would have no problem taking care of them. If it was a trap...it should still have no problem taking care of them. With the original keeping an eye on the train, the clone ran out into the forest, forming a couple of handseals before pulling out a few shuriken. Wolves would scatter once she threw the stars and they embedded in the sides of the snarling canines - but if there was any difficulty, she had a jutsu ready to follow up with. Thanks to her incredible mastery over her own chakra, she can maneuver her genjutsu in ways that most practitioners are incapable of, making her illusions some of the most dangerous to be caught in within the known world. Silent Shadows Having been a member of JITE for so long, it would be embarrassing if Sumire hadn't learned the assassination arts. While she mostly served as a talented interrogator, picking up the skills to extract information both with the usage of her illusions or through the more tedious task of torture, Sumire also learned the proper way to move through even a crowded area without bringing attention to herself. She is able to move with nary a sound, and execute deaths just as quietly. By the time people become privy to her actions, she is most likely far, far away from the scene.

So far there wasn't any danger in sight. If there was anything in the area worth paying any attention to then he would have spotted them by now. Outside of some of the wild animals that were wandering about, there was nothing else to look for. The last thing that got his attention were the wolves that were lingering, but that changed when they begin heading in the direction of something. It was as if they were hunting.

Out of curiosity, Sanosuke took a brief moment to see what it was, and much to his surprise it was a kid. He couldn't even begin to think of why someone that age would be out here in the first place. No way that could be a coincidence right? The Sanosuke used his eyes to view the front and the back of the Train car to see what Wynne or Sumire would do about the situation. Sanosuke had already made the mistake of going against protocol once, and he had no intentions of doing it again.

The boy was in luck today as Sumire created a Shadow clone to attack the wolves that were trying to eat them. It made no sense to him that a random kid would be out here so close to such a heavily guarded terrain. Sanosuke left the boy up to the Jounin while he further inspected the area in case this was some sort of distraction that would lead to chaos later on. He even went out of his way to view the contents of each of the train cars to see if there was anything on them, inside of them, or on the engine.

Ignoring the scream that was coming from behind the train, Yumi kept her focus on the metal machine she was currently on. There was no time for distractions, and her mission was to protect the train, not protect everyone who needed help. She wasn’t a generous soul, and she wouldn’t go out of her way to help someone. Her leader had other plans though, judging from the appearance of her running towards the group of wolves. Was it a clone or her actual leader though? It was hard to tell. Either way Yumi would be staying put.

Sliding off of her puppet, Yumi would lean her back against one of the train doors with Muyi in tow. Relaxing on her puppet's back was nice and all, but she wanted to be able to react quickly if anything unexpected happened. The strange situation that had just occurred was part of her reasoning. Why was a boy even behind her? Did he fall off the train, and if he did how was he outrunning the wolves? The situation seemed quite fishy to her and she didn’t like that one bit. Crouching down to hide her profile, she calmly waited as she did before. The bandits would approach eventually, she was sure of it.

Some of the wolves scattered, others seemed to redirect their attention at Sumire clone as it approached. One wolf lunged, seeming more angered by the attack of the shuriken than scared away. This one was bigger than the rest. The second was more interested in attacking the child still, who was laying on the ground weeping and bleeding quite a bit as the wolves had seemed to have gotten quite a few good bites in.

Sanosuke would note the child, and find that the chakra belonged to that of approximately a real child. There was no joke here, it was in fact a very real child fearing for his very real life. However, that blip in chakra that sensors would denote was always a strange presence within the treeline, though this was a distraction from the real issue at hand... That was whilst the shinobi paid their attention towards what was going on with the child, and the wolves they would not notice what was going on beneath their feet - literally.

Someone was quite good at hiding their presence and hiding their chakra entirely, and this someone was accustomed to creating chaos in multiple directions so that they could plant an explosive tag against one of the connections that kept the train carts together. Using the metal pieces just beneath the train they would manage to get away unharmed when the explosion would go off and shake the entire car that the three were standing on - and if they were dispersed between cars, well... Now, at least one was separated from the pack.

The separated car would screech to a halt almost taking a tumble as it slid sideways on the train tracks and hit some streets on the way too. The trees were primarily what would stop it... Now the shinobi had to hold on for their dear lives whoever was on the train car anyway.

The wolves disperse all but two, one continues to try and kill the child the second lunges at Sumire's clone. Sanosuke might note as he looks that the child is in fact a real child and not some kind of trick.

Unfortunately, the chaos allows for someone to blow up the coupling between one car and another. If the shinobi are split up over multiple cars they are now likely separated whilst the remainder of the train rolls on, the back most car is separated and screeching to a halt giving the shinobi minimal time to react...

[break]On the train, Sumire had gone back to her duty of watching out for the train, letting her clone deal with the wolves. She knew her clone could deal with the animals, provided the thing didn't end up being a trap. Moments after the clone and wolves disappeared from view, Yatagarasu began squawking angrily and Sumire was on edge, grabbing her chunin by their shirts and hauling them uptowards the roof of the car just as an explosion ripped through the coupler beneath their feet.

The jounin swore as she remained balanced on the roof of the tilting train as it screeched to a halt, watching as the front few cars of the train pull away through the dispersing smoke. Well, that wasn't good. At all. Releasing her charges, Sumire pulled out a few shuriken from her thigh holsters. "Sanosuke, where are the enemies?" she shouted, funneling her chakra into a series of handseals, readying her jutsu.

Dogs, wolves, canines, in general, were not on the list of Sumire's favorite animals. She liked her birds. So the angry wolves bearing down on her clone and the child instead of running off like their friends did nothing but make her double annoyed.

Narrowing her eyes in a glare, the clone easily dodged around the charging wolf, spinning away and grabbing a kunai which she launched at the neck of the wolf still advancing on the child. She ran in the same direction, attempting to get to the kid before the glorified mutt managed to finish turning him into a meal. The clone would scoop the child up into her arms and jump onto a nearby tree trunk, scaling it so they could sit among the branches where no normal wolf would be able to get to them.

Even with his all seeing eyes it seemed as though there was only so much he could see at one time. The one spot he hadn't really checked ended up being the one spot the opposition managed to strike. It was frustrating to say that least. In the back of his mind he tried contemplating what he could have done to have reacted to the situation much quicker, but there really wasn't. This was just one round they were going to have to lose.

Fortunately, the war was still not over. The Jounin made sure to react quickly to what was going on as He and Yumi were sent to the top of the cart to avoid any serious injuries. "Fuck!" Sanosuke grunted to himself. "Out of all the places, that one?!" The Takeda was clearly annoyed with what was going on, but unfortunately the problem was not over just yet. There was still much that needed to be done before he'd get the chance to properly process what was going on.

Immediately upon getting on top of the car Sanosuke begin forming handseals. He intended to take no chances on what was going on, and the person who did this wasn't going to get away without any problems either. After finishing his handseals Sanosuke would undergo a transformation. His eyes glowing red as the Devil Trigger blessed him with power well above his own before it. On the commands on Sumire he immediately begin tracking the person in question who blew up the coupling between the cars.

They couldn't have gotten too far away, and given they managed to show up underneath the train he'd begin to check the ground around where the explosion happened to see where they might have gone. If somehow nothing managed to show up he would check underneath and around the train still moving ahead of them to see if he could find anyone. Lastly he would check inside the train, but regardless his next move was ultimately going to come down to where the bomb user was.

  DESCRIPTION: Currently the strongest known transformation amongst the Takeda, and is also the true form of the Devil Bringer. In the history of the clan only a few throughout each generation have been able to awaken this power. After a Takedas' first successful transformation all that is needed to transform now are 7 handseals and a tight clenching of the right fist. In this form the users physical prowess surpasses that of the original transformation. Its power also is no longer attached to just the arm, but Instead spread throughout the users body providing an equal amount of power on all cylinders. The transformation alone requires a certain level of chakra control as it can be pretty demanding given its substantial increase in power throughout the body. "Requiring" the user to have chakra control as a special ability. The transformation takes the form of a "demonic"— Not to be taken literally—silhouette, emitting a 'colored' aura according to the nature of the users personality out of the users right arm. The transformation acts as a projection of the users true self. Each form looking different than the next. Its appearance usually centered around that of a humanoid muscular system with a demonic face. The eyes of the user also glows like it does during the Devil Soul transformation. This ability also allows the silhouettes weapon to take the form of whatever weapon the user has. Each attack being accompanied by the silhouette using a right-handed version of the attack, and in the process empowering the weapon to harness its strength at will. Members of the Takeda clan who achieve this stage of transformation tend to either already be, or eventually become master of weapons. SN: Each user is required to post what their silhouette looks like in this form. Stumbling on top of the train cart Sumire yanked her too, Yumi watched as the cart she was on veered off the tracks. While the attempt to help her was nice, she would’ve preferred not to have the scruff of her neck grabbed so forcefully. The separation from the group would only have been a slight annoyance for her, since she could easily get back to the moving carts. She wasn’t sure about Sanosuke, so maybe it was for the best the two were grabbed? The price of not explaining her whole moveset.

"Understood.”

Letting out a sigh, Yumi distanced herself slightly from her team and tapped her scroll. She had enemies to find. Narrowing her eyes, Yumi began unsealing her menagerie of family. On the left side of the cart they were on, the Seeker and Mako would appear. On the right side Snek would begin to wrap his enormous body around the cart the group was standing on. Stretching his neck to peer underneath the train cart, Yumi would send chakra towards Snek and look through his eyes in order to see if anyone was hiding underneath.

Turning half her body to face behind her, Yumi would have The Seeker begin his search by crawling on the sides of the train, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. Mako would follow behind on top of the train carts while Muyi would guard her actual body.

DESCRIPTION:
By closing their eyes and concentrating on their chakra strings, a puppeteer is able to look through the eyes of one of their puppets, assuming their puppet has eyes. This effect lasts as long as the puppeteer's strings are connected to their puppet and they have their eyes closed. This technique allows the puppeteer to scout around by using their puppets and to also help them see if they are hidden inside their puppet. The vision from the puppet is relatively the same as normal vision but with slightly reduced color.

The wolves were fairly quickly taken care of by the woman's clone, grabbing the sobbing child and scaling a tree and away from the wolf that remained standing, albeit, it did not pursue into the tree. Though it did growl and bark a few times in annoyance that its meal was taken from it. There was something entirely strange about the fact that wolves and a child had appeared, but it also made sense as a form of a distraction. Either way, the last wolf would disappear into the foliage to follow its friends, whilst the other wolf laid on the ground bleeding. Mostly dead.

There was smoke, and fire as the trio managed to land on the ground, or on the toppled train cart without fully falling over. The remaining carts? They were speeding away with the front of the train. So much so that only Sanosuke would be able to tell - if he looked in the right direction - that their enemy was on the speeding train. Having managed to use the cover of the explosion and all the dust that it had caused to land on the back of the train but now they were moving further into the train and away from the trio. Sanosuke would have to run to catch up with the train now and run fast.

Was there only one?

On the train, that certainly seemed to be the case, however, if Sanosuke turned his attention now to the surrounding area multiple chakra signatures would make themselves known. They stayed at bay as Sanosuke turned into a raging demon.. thing. They couldn't quite tell what was going on.

Yumi would not likely find anything on the detached train cart.

The team could choose to flush them out of the forest or attempt to pursue the speeding train.

The child is saved, one wolf dead, the other leaves.

Only ONE car got blown away (I mention only one car in my last post, sorry not sure if there was a misunderstanding or if I'm not understanding something from y'alls posts :c lemme know), leaving the crew stranded whilst the rest of the train speeds away. Sanosuke, if he pays close attention to the speeding train, will see someone on it moving further and further away... Yumi would not find anything on the detached train cart, unfortunately. Or he could turn his attention to the enemies in the forest.. Are they going to flush them out or pursue the train?

[break]The clone's glare softened as the wolves turned tail and slunk back into the woods. So much trouble for such a small bother. Looking at the child in her arms, the clone shifted him so he'd be in a more comfortable position. "What the hell are you doing out here alone?" she asked with an exasperated sigh. "Do you live in the village? We should get you home."

An angry squawking drew Sumire's attention back towards the cars that were chugging further and further away. She saw the outline of the figure on top of it through the smoke. Well, that was inconvenient. She wound up her arm and threw her shuriken at the figure before the train got too far away. If the shuriken, obscured by the explosion smoke, hit the figure, that would be nice, but she couldn't rely on the blades only.

"You two work together and guard these cars. Take care of any enemies. I'll deal with the ones on the front cars." She didn't want to separate from the chunin, but it seemed the best option at the moment. Making another clone would just put an unnecessary drain on her chakra and she knew the teens would be capable of taking care of anything too difficult by working together. "Signal Yatagarasu if things get rough."

She said the last bit as she jumped from the car's roof and sped towards the engine. It was going a decent speed, but Sumire would have little trouble catching up to it. She would grab the ladder and jumped with ease to the roof, chakra at the ready to pull out a jutsu if she needed it and a hidden blade ready to deploy, depending on what sort of retaliation those on the roof had up their sleeves.

  Along the course of mastering her genjutsu, Sumire has sharpened her control of chakra to an art. She is able to shape the flow and manipulate the threads in complex ways and with extreme potency that allows her to perform difficult jutsu without wasting a single drop. Thanks to her incredible mastery over her own chakra, she can maneuver her genjutsu in ways that most practitioners are incapable of, making her illusions some of the most dangerous to be caught in within the known world.

  Having been a member of JITE for so long, it would be embarrassing if Sumire hadn't learned the assassination arts. While she mostly served as a talented interrogator, picking up the skills to extract information both with the usage of her illusions or through the more tedious task of torture, Sumire also learned the proper way to move through even a crowded area without bringing attention to herself. She is able to move with nary a sound, and execute deaths just as quietly. By the time people become privy to her actions, she is most likely far, far away from the scene.

Sanosuke hoped the earlier parts of this missions would go smoothly, but it was almost as if there was a force within the world that was against them as they managed to take control over the front of the train car. The Chuunin wished he had all the answers, but the only thing that he could do now was take his very small mistake as a learning experience and move on. The person more than likely responsible for the attack had finally made themselves available.

Sanosuke assumed with his sensory skills that he might be the one to go after it, but it seemed like their team leader had other plans and for good reason too. It seemed like now that the first attack had been successfully carried out that the next was ready to begin. Chakra signatures begin to make itself available to him with ease just as they had just gathered themselves. Sumire had taken on the lead of chasing after the one responsible for this.

Yuie and himself would have to protect the train cars that were left behind from whatever else they were looking to do. This more than likely was a distraction, but if this was the only thing they had prepared themselves for then they were going to be in for a treat. Sumire was among the villages best, so taking her out would be next to impossible unless they were skilled on levels above himself and Yuie.

"Sigh... It looks like they want us to waste time on them, and right now its not looking like we have much of a choice. I can scan the area to tell you how many is there, but that's about it."

The Takeda noted as he begin to place his six swords together one by one as he scanned the area. Once he managed to get a full count of the opposition—should they continue to stand at bay—Sanosuke would head to begin taking out the opposition on one side of the cart while he expected Yuie to do the same on the other.

  DESCRIPTION: Currently the strongest known transformation amongst the Takeda, and is also the true form of the Devil Bringer. In the history of the clan only a few throughout each generation have been able to awaken this power. After a Takedas' first successful transformation all that is needed to transform now are 7 handseals and a tight clenching of the right fist. In this form the users physical prowess surpasses that of the original transformation. Its power also is no longer attached to just the arm, but Instead spread throughout the users body providing an equal amount of power on all cylinders. The transformation alone requires a certain level of chakra control as it can be pretty demanding given its substantial increase in power throughout the body. "Requiring" the user to have chakra control as a special ability. The transformation takes the form of a "demonic"— Not to be taken literally—silhouette, emitting a 'colored' aura according to the nature of the users personality out of the users right arm. The transformation acts as a projection of the users true self. Each form looking different than the next. Its appearance usually centered around that of a humanoid muscular system with a demonic face. The eyes of the user also glows like it does during the Devil Soul transformation. This ability also allows the silhouettes weapon to take the form of whatever weapon the user has. Each attack being accompanied by the silhouette using a right-handed version of the attack, and in the process empowering the weapon to harness its strength at will. Members of the Takeda clan who achieve this stage of transformation tend to either already be, or eventually become master of weapons. SN: Each user is required to post what their silhouette looks like in this form. Crouching down on the top of the train cart to further hide her body, Yumi would have Snek wrap its large body around her, so that only the top of her head would be left in view. Her large puppet was quite sturdy, so although he would be quite a big target, she was sure he could handle it.

On her right, Mako would rearrange her arms into foot long blades that would tear up any enemy that got close enough. She too would be crouched in order to hide the majority of her body from view.

On her left, Seeker would stand tall in the open, twisting his head here and there as he waited for the approach of enemies. If any opponents came into view, Yumi would have him launch several kunai towards them from his arms in hopes of injuring some of her opponents.

She doubted she’d need to signal her leader since she was sure both her and Sanosuke were quite strong. Unless their enemies were devious or weirdly powerful, the two should be fine.

The child was crying and trembling, but at least managed to respond.

"Th-The.. They.. I.. I was p-p-playing..!" A seasoned shinobi would be able to determine that this was a child that had been clearly kidnapped for the sake of this play, distraction. A smart one too, because this was a real child that whoever this was, was willing to sacrifice to get what they wanted...

Sanosuke would get a decent feel for how many there were in the area, approximately twenty... But as Sumire ran off towards the obnoxiously speeding rest of the train, they would divide. Ten would surround Sanosuke, whilst the others would go to support their comrades on the train that was moving away from the grouping.

This meant that Sanosuke would be having to defend a child as well, whilst Sumire moved. Of course, Sanosuke and the clone could potentially create an opening to get the child out of harm's way.

Sumire for the time being would chase the moving train, and she would meet with a force of ten... Her shuriken hitting the upper arm of one individual on the top cart, but not doing much else. This was a tricky situation...

How would Sanosuke and a clone deal with having to defend a child against ten shinobi enemies and how would Sumire deal with eleven enemies, one on the train and ten others moving in on her as she closed in on the train itself?

Sumire is up against ten + one on the train as she chases after it. The shuriken does hit the mark but in a non fatal way unfortunately.
