As it seemed that Asari had managed to capture the scent of the man they were following and seemed to point in the direction to the forest and quietly wondered if the direction of escape that Gin had taken was for necessity or if there was an ill plan behind it. After all it wasn't wise to encounter a Senju in the forest. It mattered little, they would need to hurry, time was wasting the longer they would stand here doing nothing the more time they allowed their enemy to accrue in order to carry their plan. "No, we shall go together." He said in a resolute tone, picking a hint panic coming from the head researcher. "He is likely acting alone at this point, if this was a coordinated attack, he and his companions would've set ways to hinder us or done sabotage around... No, this is done in desperation." He concluded. It was a gamble to be certain, but he was sure that they needed to capture the man before he could unleash whatever he had found. Soon after they would leave, the white wolf leading their path as the forest would meet them. Out of a precaution the Senju would weave a hand sign and leave a pair to clones behind, hoping that the doppelgangers would be more than enough to dissuade anyone to attack, specially after they had caused four deaths from the original group of thieves. The forest was dim, the roads that led in into the sea of trees seemed to wind and snake and become lost. Where it not for Asari's guidance and the occasional tracks. Kazuto would turn to Arashi as they jumped from branch to branch. "I will act as the decoy when we find him." He said calmly, he counted with her being able to sense through the use of her sand and her knowledge of fuinjutsu would be invaluable in case they were too late. He would need to use the forest to his advantage in battle and if he placed all the attention to himself it would be for the best. Asari could cover their attacks if it was necessary. "When you find an open window to take him down, do it, don't hesitate." He told the Suna kunoichi.

DESCRIPTION:
A clone that is created by altering the user's own cells with chakra with the 'tiger,' 'dog,' and 'snake' seals. It has more endurance than the normal shadow clones and doesn't disappear when hit by the enemies' attacks. Moreover, since it has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. They have the ability to travel far distances from the user and are able to communicate with the original. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique.

The basic concept of the Shadow Clone Technique also applies to the Wood Clone Technique. However, the chakra-composed shadow clone and the cell-based wood clone are completely distinct techniques. By directly touching the wood clone with their hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered or change the shape of the clone. Because clone is made up of the user's own cells, transformed into vegetation when it is changed into a seed and ingested into the body or left on a target, it can be used as a transmission device of sorts.

A true-born Senju, Kazuto has mastered Mokuton. Hailed as the one greatest master of the Kekkei Genkai, his abilities with Mokuton are held in high regard, mastering the many techniques for which the clan is renown whilst also bending his ingenuity to create a discipline of his own referred by those within the clan as merely the branching path and by him as Senbonzakura. His techniques can either be great in power and scope or subtle and deceptively simple, creating either durable wooden constructs, imaginative tools for a wide range of occasions or deadly hails storms of cherry blossom petals which Kazuto wields with great mastery.

Might of Heroes


Descendant of a great lineage, the blood of great and legendary heroes of the clan courses through the veins of Kazuto as they do with any other Senju. As such he has been bestowed with robust pools of chakra upon his birth. Through intense training and countless missions these pools of chakra have expanded quite considerably, becoming a Furnace of Might within him, allowing him to fight for longer periods of time and casting powerful techniques without much concern to run out of stamina. Although this chakra makes his control suffer, his impressive reserves make up for this deficit in control.

Paragon of War

His mind is as keen and sharp as blade recently sharpened by a whetstone. Through the learning of tactics, records, on field experience and on the fly ingenuity, the Senju is able to plan before, during and after a fierce fray. It is thanks to this that he can discern the correct course of action and what stratagems and actions should he take. He is able to read and keep the Flow of Battle as flexible as possible. His tactics range from the most subtle ambush within dark corridors to even the most brutal and grim battlefield.


Fell-Handed

After much study and training, Kazuto achieved the ability to weave hand seals and cast techniques with just One Hand. A rare skill among shinobi and a sign of great prowess, the Senju is able to form hand signs forgoing the need to bring the digits of both his hands together, he is able to string a number of techniques without worrying during a fray to be unable to complete techniques if someone targets his hand, as he is able to defend himself with the off-hand by either the use of a technique or by wielding a weapon.

Asari:

Senju Kazuto Oonakayama Arashi

As the group traveled, the only thing they would hear would be the rustle of leaves and the sway of branches. Minutes would pass as the realization of just how far ahead Gin was would come to mind. The two Konoha shinobi were faster than Gin was, so even with his head start, they would eventually catch up. But it would still take time, assuming they encountered no problems. And after they traveled a decent distance into the forest, a problem was exactly what they encountered.

As Arashi took another step through the forest, one of the larger fungus near the ground would emerge in a burst of dirt, revealing the beast that lay hidden within. It was vaguely humanoid, although it looked more fungus than man. A small stubby head would lie on top of its short body where a gigantic mouth filled with sharp teeth could be seen. Closer investigation would show that the teeth were actually hardened bark, but it would perform just as well as the sharp teeth it mimicked.

Stretching out its long vine like arms, the creature would attempt to wrap around Arashi’s limbs before pushing part of her body into its mouth, where it would no doubt put the teeth on display to use.

Near Kazuto another one would emerge, but rather than try to grab him, it would aim to bludgeon him with its arms. And while it wouldn’t immediately kill if it hit, all it took was several of those hits to add up until the man was turned into bloody paste.

A third one would come stumbling out towards Asari, aiming to devour the wolf and use its corpse as sustenance for future growth. As the three attacks happened in tandem, it would be clear that Gin had done more than just run away as what was previously assumed. He had set traps, high level and living ones at that. The question was, if he was this capable, why had he not tried his luck against Kazuto and Arashi? The two were still missing pieces of the puzzle. And until they found Gin, the puzzle would never be solved.

With the decision made that they would be making this venture together, Kazuto leaving behind two clones of wood to look over the camp, the two would begin to head out in the direction in which the lone wolf would lead them. As the scenery around them began to change, the full view of the forest would come to view, prompting Arashi to take a moment to mentally take in the sight. It was rare to see so much green, especially in such a closeted area. But then again, much of what Arashi saw was Sand and hardened stone. Still, the moment of taking in the sight was cut upon hearing the plan set by Kazuto. While he would be acting as a distraction, she would be the one to take the kill shot once they came in contact with Gin. It seemed a bit harsh in considering the possible chance that he might know something. More than that, what if he didn't have the scrolls any longer? Would they really kill their own chance at saving them? A calm expression crossed her lips, but she'd soon enough nod as she figured that with so many unknowns, it was best to keep the one consistent one in mind. At least for now. "Right...should be fun...though what if he doesn't have em anymore?" It wasn't up to a lower ranking officer to question orders. But then, Arashi wasn't much for such regulations and she wasn't exactly what most would think as a good shinobi either. Jumping from one branch to the next, her sand sensing still active as it seemed to lessen with it's previous burst, she'd been unable to tell the shift upon the next place of landing, her ankle latched upon by a life-like vine. Looking down, she'd see the cause just as the green creature with a massive mouth and rows of teeth. "The hell!? WOAH!!" More vines would seem to latch upon her arms and legs, dragging her down toward the ground, and close to the jaws that waited to consume her. Struggling for a moment, her eyes narrowed in her strain, seeing the waiting death that was likely to take her out in one chomp. But as she drew closer to the end, her body would phase into dust, moving outside of the monster's grip before appearing like a small collective cloud on the opposite side of it. "Looks like Gin isn't some regular old researcher..." Whatever abilities this man had, he wasn't shy on making a set up of traps that could very well kill the two of them. If it wasn't evident now, he was willing to kill them to be sure he could get away with his crime. Or at the very least, anyone that attempted to follow behind him if they managed to get this far. These monsters, whatever they really were, were either beasts summoned from the scrolls or part of the natural environment. Either way, it would come down to them dealing with them in order to get back to their hunt. But time was of the essence. With one of them making a move toward Asari, allowing for Kazuto to focus on his own problem with another one coming on his side, Arashi would swiftly summon the sand from her gourd to move in to create a shell of sand around the wolf in defense, flicking her hand upward as tendrils would surge out from it's surface and lash out against the incoming forest creature. "You and Asari should move on ahead...I'll play with the Big green and his pals!! Gin's likely further in and we don't have time to waste on children of the grass here!" Honestly, Arashi was confident that she could handle this situation on her own. Especially since in a way... She wasn't... If Kazuto was still able to hear her, the young woman would return her focus back to her own target, her eyes narrowed as a smirk crossed her lips. "Harvest Time..." That said, the girl would then call forth another burst of sand from her container, this time forming it into a fist as she crossed her wrist as it was launched against the first beast to have taken her captive. SPOILER: Click to show -S.A Used- Ultimate Defense A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike. Hunter's Instinct With her training from her mother, along with the lessons she learned from her time with the Saeko's Clan, Arashi adapted her tracking ability to a level similar to that of a sensory nin. As such, allowing her much more precision in her ability to find and keep on the heels of individual targets or groups through use of her enhanced sense of smell and ability to identify individuals and objects at long range. Will of Sand Will of Sand- Adding the element of her own chakra into the mixture of sand, Arashi is capable of faster and stronger sand manipulation and attacks. The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku. All-Covering Forests and Ten Thousand Things Assimilate Technique A technique that Arashi learned from Shukaku, it was grafted upon the creativity and consumption of a variety of different environments and adapting them to the needs of the user. When Arashi first learned of this, she used them simply as a means of allowing her to move with the usage of her sand, traveling among the currents of the wind from one place to the next. Though over time, she has adapted to them and made that very nature part of herself and learned to manipulate it to more than just the desert itself. With this growing understanding, comes her ability to use it to better suit her needs. Such as assimilation of Steel into her skin, or ash to the very minerals that build up the sand she controls to her will. This knowledge grants her the means to take these parts of her environment and impart them into her very being. While this is a short lived experience, they aid her in her ability to control the situation and to protect herself from threats that her Ultimate Sand Defense can not predict and allow for her to better protect herself. (Post Count limit:3) -Jutsu Used- NAME: Sunano Senshingu[ Sand Sensing] RANK: B CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Jiton DESCRIPTION: By dispersing chakra enhanced sand into a specific area, the user is able to discern the presence of bodies that come into direct contact with it. This sensing sand can be spread across a wide terrain of 100 feet, or even float in the air allowing aerial foes to be detected for an extended range of 150 feet due to it's lack of being stationary. Once the sand comes in contact with a person, it will wrap itself around them, rendering even invisible targets, visible. NAME: Suna no Tate [ Sand Shield] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Medium CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Jiton DESCRIPTION: A rather simple yet powerful technique, the surrounds himself in sand, either in the form of a in shapeless form that is aimed to intercept incoming strikes or in a layered sphere of Iron Sand compressed to such an extent that it becomes as hard as stone. It is also capable of repairing surface damage by shifting the sand over a flaw in it's defense, making it an incredibly useful technique. There is one rather large flaw however, in that the user's visibility is completely null when inside the sphere of Sand. NAME: Suna Makihige [ Sand Tendril] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Jiton DESCRIPTION: The user will create multiple thread-like constructs from sand and use them as if they were their own appendages, guiding them with chakra. These can be compressed to create powerful spears or simply as a way to trap or grab objects or persons within a range of 100 feet. NAME: Satetsu Kesshū [ Sand Gathering Assault] RANK: B CHAKRA USAGE: Medium CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Jiton DESCRIPTION: This technique gathers a great volume of sand and compresses it into a high-density shape. This greatly increases the hardness, creating a gigantic steel-like weapon standing at 30 feet in an instant. The weight and size of these shapes are so great, they can easily shatter bedrock. Because the weapon is made out of sand, the shape can be whatever the user wants, and can even be changed during the fight. This allows the user to create the best weapon for the fight, by taking into account the opponent's abilities and the surrounding environment. -Items Used-

The best laid plans rarely survived contact with the enemy, specially an enemy whose capabilities were unknown. That was one constant of warfare as far as he had experienced. This time it seemed that it wasn't the exception. As the sound of splitting bark and sudden revelation of abominations that seemed to be made from nature itself proved that. As he saw the mound of what seemed to be lichen, mold, fungi and bark a cold chill ran down his spine as he silently wondered. Mokuton? He thought in a split second as time seemed to slow down and then any doubt that lingered went away. It didn't matter, what mattered was the enemy before him as he pushed forward and pulled his arm energy swirling about the palm of his hand. A giant orb formed on the palm of his left hand as his right began to flicker through hand signs. His footing was sure, every muscle in his body burning with energy as the arms of the giant monsters seemed to descent towards him. The Senju would push the orb, the arms then colliding against it surface, then the body and all of the abomination. A great boom would surge and a blinding light as the great monster would be violently tossed away, the blast of energy carrying it away as it flew through the forest. The man was better prepared than Kazuto thought. His thoughts would then move towards his companions, Arashi and his wolf finding two of the same creatures, as he noticed that the Sunagakure shinobi would be holding her own against one of the abominations another would stumble into the white wolf, the sound of snapping bark and twigs as it moved, using her swiftness the wolf would move away from the grasp of the creature and continue pointing ahead, where the trail she had caught led her, listening to Arashi as she said that she could handle them, hoping that she would as he would look at the monster that followed Asari and consider that at the very least he could eliminate that one.

Senju Kazuto Oonakayama Arashi

Before the fungal monster could take a chunk out of Arashi, the skilled girl would narrowly escape its tight grasp. Thanks to her shield and the wolf’s swiftness, Asari would be able to easily dodge the abomination that was swiping at her. Near Kazuto’s side, the foe he was fighting could be seen soaring through the air before slamming into a far away tree with a loud cracking sound. Judging from the impact, the creature would be severely injured if it was even still alive.

The fungal monster closest to Arashi would contort its body in a strange manner in order to dodge the oncoming fist. Unfortunately for the abomination, the fist stood at the size of thirty feet, making it quite hard to avoid. Letting out a painful screech, the creature would be slammed away and hit another tree, similar to how Kazuto treated the other one. Picking itself up slowly, it would glare at Arashi before slowly approaching her once more. 

As this occurred, the final abomination would grab a branch above it before waddling backwards. Once it was far enough back, the vines inside of its arms would tighten before surging forward, launching its body like a slingshot. And judging from its aim, it would be colliding into Arashi from below. And with its mouth open wide, what it wanted to do to her should be quite obvious.

If Kazuto chose to follow his wolf forward, nothing strange would happen for the time being. However whether it was because there were no traps, or because he didn’t activate them yet was a mystery. The scents were getting fresher, which meant they were starting to get close to Gin. The chase was nearing an end.

Arashi would nod toward Kazuto as he and his wolf companion seemed to take their leave. With the one of the creatures having been sent off by Kazuto's attack, hopefully down for the count, this left the young female with two remaining. Having been impacted by the sand fist, she clearly had gotten the attention of one, another the other one had now been drawn toward her as well. Closing her eyes briefly, the teen would flash a toothy grin as she could smell that the two had begun to make their move away from the sense. This allowed for her to block them off for now, focusing her instincts on the targets waiting for her. "Heh...look at me gettin all fired up...guess ya can feel it too..." While it seemed like she was talking to the grass monsters, she was internally having a conversation with someone more pressing. It was easy to forget that while there may have been one person standing between these creatures and their prey, she casted quite the large shadow. The only difference was she was certainly being more cautious about how she displayed herself. She may very well have been the daughter of the Kazekage and Jounin Hancho, as well as the Heiress to the Oonakayama and Saeko's Clan, but she was much more than that. One Tailed Release You done playing around with these things? Well couldn't very well go all out with Kazuto just standing there...ya might not care about secrecy..but I do... Hmph...Lets be rid of these abominations... With the silence seeming to surround the teen, the wind would begin to pick up around her. The branches of the trees weaving forward and bending against the coming breeze. As the swinging creature would attempt to surge directly toward her, attempting to close the gap and likely consume her, it would find it's target's eyes suddenly open, as well as the sand fist now placed in front of her as it would seem to release a burst of chakra as a purple shroud would surround the human female and a burst of air would spread out, her frame moving out of the way as the sand appendage would attempt to take hold of the green mass of roots and teeth. With the aura of chakra seeming to move around the teen, her eyes would take on a golden hue as the sand surrounding her and the dust itself began to cross the length of her flesh, becoming more visible as it covered half her skin. As the change of appearance took place, so did the appearance of the shroud as it began to take the shape of an unknown being. With a single tail appearing from the back, becoming formed fully with the help of the dust collected by Arashi, the Sunagakure nin would flash a toothy grin as she clench her finger into the form of a claw like fashion, turning it sideways before swaying her arm to the side as if to toss the monster into it's counter part. Wind Justu Boost Due to Shukaku’s natural affinity to wind jutsu, Arashi naturally has an affinity for Fuuton techniques. Her wind techniques are powered up to be strong enough to level a small section of a forest. Similarly, her sneezes have been known to knock her over from the force produced. Enhanced Smell Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose) Chakra Shroud [1 Tail] [Version 1] During moments of extreme stress, danger and emotional downfall, Arashi can easily fall into her one tail form. While she still has some control over this form, the majority of her actions are very feral and simple minded. Sand is forcibly pulled from the ground, yanking the earth around her apart to form a small Takuni based shade that covers her head and half of her body. A sandy tale can be seen before her, molded out of the sand covering her body. Her entire face is hidden by the sand, and Shukaku has greater influence over her. If Arashi is angry at someone, she will attack without hesitation like a wild beast. In this mode, she cannot think properly. She is only a few steps above a wild animal. Though this form in inducted through stress, it has been controlled to the point where it can be activated through her own free will. In such cases, many of her previous held abilities have been enhanced. Her physical attacks are now capable of lifting double of her original limit, and she is able to move at the level of a Jounin Taijutsu user. That would mean the force behind her strikes would be capable of shattering bone and even steel if used to it's full extent. Her endurance and agility are also amplified, allowing her to move faster and to make use of her new skills without quickly succumbing to fatigue. The next improvement is that of her Ninjutsu, Fuinjutsu. Each of which are enhanced in their execution and strength. These chakra appendages can be freely manipulated for almost an infinite distance as a result of its lack of joints. Additionally, they can surge at opponents at speeds that even the most highly trained of shinobi would have trouble reacting to. These appendages can grow in size and form, but only those who have control of at least half of their form (starting at Version 2 Chakra Cloak) can create any number of chakra arms they desire from any part of their body. Just like the original chakra arms, these extra arms can be used as grappling hooks, for grabbing opponents/objects, defense, or offensively. Unlike the original arms, these chakra arms are much thicker, and darker as a result of Version 2's advanced nature. The Senju continued, pleased with the strength of his technique and damage that he had caused to the abomination that had been sprung from fungi and nature itself. For a brief second he wondered whether or not he needed to return and give Arashi a hand, she seemed to confident to hold off the creatures by herself and as far as he had seen she was more than capable of fighting multiple enemies he had to trust her and hope that she would join him when the time came. Don't you dare to die on me. He thought silently before pressing forward, following Asari as the wolf seemed to move with more resolution forward, as if the trail began to become stronger. "Kazuto-san, we're getting closer." The wolf would said as she navigated the forest. Yet all seemed to be far too easy, if the monsters were an indication then there was likely a trap waiting to be sprung, something to follow up in case that the monster were dispatched or if they had decided to split off. Many ideas where going on about his mind as he considered what their enemy had planned. He whistled, letting the wolf know to slow down and with a quick swap of hand signals she would know to keep slightly ahead. As he did, he would weave a string of hand signs in preparation for the trap that surely Gin had left behind to top them and gain some time as he tried carry on with his plans, whatever his plans were. Time would tell if his approach was correct or if something was wrong. Either way, Kazuto would prepare himself and hope that whatever happened Arashi would come up victorious and catch up with him for the battle ahead.

Descendant of a great lineage, the blood of great and legendary heroes of the clan courses through the veins of Kazuto as they do with any other Senju. As such he has been bestowed with robust pools of chakra upon his birth. Through intense training and countless missions these pools of chakra have expanded quite considerably, becoming a Furnace of Might within him, allowing him to fight for longer periods of time and casting powerful techniques without much concern to run out of stamina. Although this chakra makes his control suffer, his impressive reserves make up for this deficit in control.


Paragon of War

His mind is as keen and sharp as blade recently sharpened by a whetstone. Through the learning of tactics, records, on field experience and on the fly ingenuity, the Senju is able to plan before, during and after a fierce fray. It is thanks to this that he can discern the correct course of action and what stratagems and actions should he take. He is able to read and keep the Flow of Battle as flexible as possible. His tactics range from the most subtle ambush within dark corridors to even the most brutal and grim battlefield.

Fell-Handed

After much study and training, Kazuto achieved the ability to weave hand seals and cast techniques with just One Hand. A rare skill among shinobi and a sign of great prowess, the Senju is able to form hand signs forgoing the need to bring the digits of both his hands together, he is able to string a number of techniques without worrying during a fray to be unable to complete techniques if someone targets his hand, as he is able to defend himself with the off-hand by either the use of a technique or by wielding a weapon.

Senju Kazuto Oonakayama Arashi

Squirming in Arashi’s grip, the fungal abomination would swipe at the sandy hand to no avail. Small bits and pieces of the sand would crumble to the ground only to have more take its place. As sand began to cover more of the jinchuriki's form, the other abomination would make its return with a lumbering leap, aiming at the part of Arashi’s body that wasn’t covered in sand.

Before it could reach her, it would be met with the approach of the other abomination flying strongly through the air towards it. And when the two collided, it wouldn’t be a pretty sight. Disgusting slime and bark would erupt from where the two met, splattering the nearby trees with a mysterious goopy substance. And judging from the remnants of the two creatures, it would be obvious that Gin’s trap had been foiled. It was a good thing that it wasn't the only one he had set.

"Separating from your partner was a mistake. Allow me to show you why.”

In a blur of movement, a dark red blur would appear from behind a nearby tree. This blur would soon take on the form of an almost seven foot tall masked man cloaked in burgundy. The mask would be painted white with only a clenched open mouth as decoration. Above it would be black hair tied into a long ponytail.

Twisting his body, the masked man would deliver an immensely powerful kick towards the back of Arashi’s head. If her sand managed to block his assault in time, it would block the entirety of his attack but be blown away from the sheer strength of his kick, demonstrating the immense power inside of his body.

Once the attack was performed, the man would leap backwards until he was standing on a branch above Arashi a few feet away. Looking down upon the transformed girl, he would speak in a deep baritone voice.

"A jinchuuriki and so far away from their village? How very intriguing.”

As Kazuto and his wolf continued their travel, Asari would soon notice two new scents in the air. Judging from the smell, it seemed they were near and fast approaching.

In a sudden burst of movement four kunai wrapped in paper would emerge from the leaves above and in front of them. Two were headed towards Asari’s legs while the other two were aimed at Kazuto’s neck. All in all, it would be quite an impressive display of their accuracy. And it would only be mere moments until the owners of the thrown weaponry were revealed.

Crouching down on a large limb, two long haired masked individuals would emerge from the greenery. One facing Asari and one facing Kazuto. A neutral voice would sound out from the one on the left as it tilted its head towards Kazuto.

"I think you’ve gone far enough.”

Both individuals would look eerily the same with their black hair and decorated mask. They would both have the same lithe frame and wear the same long white robes. No obvious weapons could be seen on the two, but judging on how wide the sleeves of their clothes were, it’d be easy for them to hide weaponry inside.

Once the kunai were close enough to Kazuto and Asari, the masked ninja would each perform a handseal and cause their weaponry to explode, aiming to catch their opponents in the explosion. 

With the arrival of these two new opponents, it would become clear that the situation was bigger than it first seemed. Still, there were some questions unanswered. Were these people working with Gin, or was Gin working for them? It was clear they were professionals, and with Arashi way behind him, Kazuto and his wolf would be on their own. Only time would tell if he would be able to weather the oncoming storm.

Though stronger and more brutal users will instead pour all their strength into a hard roundhouse to the neck, attempting to break the spine or even sheer off their opponent’s head.

DESCRIPTION:
Explosive Tags are pieces of sticky papers with calligraphic kanji on their front that create powerful explosions. After the user dedicates some chakra and performs the 'Snake Handseal' a single Explosive Tag will turn into a 5 meter radius ball of fire with strong concussive force. The tags can be attached to a surface or wrapped around a weapon to be thrown at an enemy. They are very versatile and one of the basic ninja tools. They are even capable of working under heavy rain.

Moment Music The action alone was swift, moving one object's force against another. The impact wasn't the pretties, but then again, neither was the materials that were being slammed against one another. As Arashi crossed her arms as her sand covered limbs wavered back like the tail of a snake, a voice would suddenly come to her ears as a hard impact slammed against the shield of dust that surrounded her. While she was greatly protected, the hit along was powerful enough to prompt the girl's movement, her feet sliding against the grass and soil, uprooting plants and life before finally stopping on the opposite side of her former position. It was as if she had been hit by a steel wall, allowing her gaze to shift as she narrowed her eyes to scan the area. With the blurred image having taken perch above her, the young woman could see the mask vision of the man over her, seeming to claim it a mistake to be separated from her companions. A interesting notion, but hardly one to take seriously as Arashi would shift her foot to the side, allowing her arms to remain at her side while she stared toward the mysterious stranger. Whatever chakra he held was hidden well enough that it would be difficult to detect, but the smell of him was what Arashi focused on as she began to speak. "Guess I'm a slow learner..." The giant of a man seemed already well aware of her status, finding the idea of it interesting. Still, it wasn't as though she hadn't kept it a well enough secret up until this point. Either way, depending on how things went here, it might not matter all that much. "I could say that bout ya too....or is it common for a researcher to leave traps?" A smirk crossed her lips as she then narrowed her eyes. "The mask is a bit of a hard sell...but if I were to guess...considering that no one in hell would need to worry bout hiding their identity unless for fear of recognition...you're Gin...or one of his buyers...Tell me if I'm warm or not?" There was some hints of familiarity from what she could gather from his work station. The smell was faint, but she could pick through details. If he weren't Gin, then he certainly had been playing close to the dig site. Or perhaps there never was a Gin. Only someone pretending to be. The way Arashi figured, there were a few other possible guesses, but the obvious one was certainly the Head Researcher, but she imagined if he wanted to take off with the scrolls, he'd had done so long ago. Gin was really the only other culprit, but then again, the fact that if someone would go so far as to lure a greedy researcher out this far, was he even still alive? Though in the end, Arashi was getting as much time with this odor as possible...so that she'd be ready for the next round. Yet the blood in her veins was screaming for her to rip his head off, so such logical thinking was battling against the instincts of her inner demon. With her hands moving in front of her her and a mark appearing over her forehead, the girl would flash a toothy grin as she positioned herself to be turned sideways. The sand drifting from around her as it seemed to float within the air and move within the surroundings. "Either way...I'll know soon enough...so might as well tell me now...save us some time..." SPOILER: Click to show -S.A Used- Ultimate Defense A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike. Hunter's Instinct With her training from her mother, along with the lessons she learned from her time with the Saeko's Clan, Arashi adapted her tracking ability to a level similar to that of a sensory nin. As such, allowing her much more precision in her ability to find and keep on the heels of individual targets or groups through use of her enhanced sense of smell and ability to identify individuals and objects at long range. Will of Sand Will of Sand- Adding the element of her own chakra into the mixture of sand, Arashi is capable of faster and stronger sand manipulation and attacks. The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku. Wind Justu Boost Due to Shukaku’s natural affinity to wind jutsu, Arashi naturally has an affinity for Fuuton techniques. Her wind techniques are powered up to be strong enough to level a small section of a forest. Similarly, her sneezes have been known to knock her over from the force produced. Enhanced Smell Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose) Chakra Shroud [1 Tail] [Version 1] During moments of extreme stress, danger and emotional downfall, Arashi can easily fall into her one tail form. While she still has some control over this form, the majority of her actions are very feral and simple minded. Sand is forcibly pulled from the ground, yanking the earth around her apart to form a small Takuni based shade that covers her head and half of her body. A sandy tale can be seen before her, molded out of the sand covering her body. Her entire face is hidden by the sand, and Shukaku has greater influence over her. If Arashi is angry at someone, she will attack without hesitation like a wild beast. In this mode, she cannot think properly. She is only a few steps above a wild animal. This sensing sand can be spread across a wide terrain of 100 feet, or even float in the air allowing aerial foes to be detected for an extended range of 150 feet due to it's lack of being stationary. Once the sand comes in contact with a person, it will wrap itself around them, rendering even invisible targets, visible. NAME: Futaishō Shīru [Genjutsu Intolerance Seal] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Fūinjutsu ELEMENT: - HANDSEALS: 3 DESCRIPTION: This Seal requires 3 hand signs to perform and must be applied to the head of the target/person in question. Once in place the seal links itself directly to the persons mind and sustains itself by altering the flow of chakra to go through it. The seal activates if any foreign chakra or influence affects the chakra around the brain causing the person in question to suffer a shot lived if not inconsiderable jolt of pain by shocking nearby nerves. This seal serves as an effective means to inform the individual if he is under a genjutsu and can dispel genjutsu techniques by means of the moderate pain it causes. This seal must be placed on a person prior to a genjutsu attack to be effective and thus is of limited use once battle commences. The path continued with the distant sound of battle behind him. Don't you dare to die. Kazuto repeated to himself, giving a silent hope of prayer for his companion. Don't you dare, Arashi. He continued, his eyes following the wolf, his feet following the trail that she marked before she would raise her sight, nose sniffing the air she caught a scent and gave an imperceptible signal that only the participation in numerous skirmishes and battles could foment between caster and summon. The sound of rustling and sliced leaves raised his sight and the fingers that he had been inches away from completing a hand sign that he had been forging. Ripping soil drowned the sounds of nature, trees befell replaced by others that moved as fast as vipers, limbs and trunks reached to the skies, the sound of steel stabbing wood would be but a small note in the music of battle before four explosions boomed, blossoming like bloody camelias that shone brightly and faded in an instant, scoring the trees and sending a scattering of shards of barks. The newborn forest would continue to shield both shinobi and wolf. "Asahi go forth!" Kazuto hissed under the groan of birthing trees that continued to be a shield for them, curling above him and Asari to absorb incoming attacks, buying some time for him as well as giving him some time to dissect and understand the attack from his foes. His free hand would then begin to forge hand seals. He knew that they had the advantage from the high ground and to attack them would be but a little gesture that would see him gain little ground and expend chakra that whilst plentiful wasn't infinite. He continued the seals as the trees followed, daring to swat away any form of projectile that dared to strike to him, becoming a mesh of defense that as his mind came up with a stratagem.

Senju Kazuto Oonakayama Arashi

"The fact that you somehow mistook me for Gin is slightly insulting. My size should be a dead giveaway, no? And as for whether you’re warm or not….you’ll just have to find out.”

The smell emanating from the new arrival would have the faint scent of Gin on it, but not enough to be the man himself. The two had surely encountered each other recently, but the exact timeframe would still remain a mystery to Arashi.

"Know that Taki is the name of your opponent that got the better of you.”

Vanishing from the branch he was on in a burst of movement, Taki would appear in front of Arashi with his arm pulled back. Thrusting his hand towards the small kunoichi, Taki would strike her from the front with a four fingered nukite. And thanks to the spin on his attack, his fist would act as drills, piercing through the sandy defense that would no doubt arrive before his blow could be struck. And with the strength of this technique, it should be enough to surpass Arashi’s defense, forcing her to deal with the powerful blow aimed straight at her.

Thanks to Asahi’s nose and Kazuto’s quick reaction, the two were protected from the surprise attack, leaving them unharmed. The wood that had taken the attack in their stead would be charred black and burnt, with flickering flames dotting its surface. Fortunately for Kazuto, more wood arrived, taking up the slack of its counterpart.

Various sharp weaponry would be thrown at the two from above before being blocked by the newly created wooden barricade. From his defensive position, Kazuto would be able to hear various thuds and muffled explosions. Yet his fortress of trees would remain firm. It seemed that the duo would need more than explosive tags to make a hole in Kazuto’s technique.

"Annoying. Initiate Attack Pattern Three.”

Separating from each other in a blur of movement, the two masked individuals would begin to flank Kazuto and Asahi, putting their two opponents between them. The masked opponent now situated behind Kazuto would pull out a small bow and quickly fire an arrow towards the man. As the attack was easily blocked by a branch of his tree, it soon began to release a loud screech, strong enough to shatter glass and shatter eardrums. In front of Kazuto, the other masked opponent would do the same with their arrow, aiming for the area directly in front of the Senju.

Judging from their lack of reaction to the piercing sound, it seemed that Kazuto’s opponents had found a way to be unaffected by their own techniques. Thanks to Kazuto’s experience, it would be obvious what the duo was trying to do. Since they couldn’t outright destroy all of the trees he was making, they would deal with him in other ways. DESCRIPTION:
The user charges their arrow with chakra and fires it using their bow. Upon command, the arrow will release the chakra and a very high pitched screech will be released. The noise is loud enough to shatter glass and cause temporary hearing damage for anyone who is within 100ft of the arrow and is exposed to the noise for more than a minute. The sound will leave a ringing noise in those that do hear ir for at least 30 seconds, and increases another 30 seconds for every minute they've been exposed. This noise will continue until the arrow is broken os the chakra is used up.

"Hmph...coulda left out that little detail...still..take what I can get..." Her smirk remained as while she may have been off on her guess, she had managed a small clue from this encounter. This invidiual had indeed come in contact with Gin. Whether or not the man was still alive remained to be seen, and perhaps it was too hopeful to think he was. Either Gin made a deal, or was no longer on this plain of existence. If that were the case, then there was nothing more that could be done. The issue was, Arashi was no more able to tell how long ago the two had met from the small hint of him she had managed to get. But even with the small detail her opponent had revealed, it was barely enough to make an identity match. After all, if he was indeed taller than Gin, it wasn't him behind the mask. But the delay had allowed her time to perform her previous jutsu, and it seemed that his pandering was giving her more ample time to prepare. With the statement of his name, along with the claim of having gotten the better of her, the figure would vanish from his branch, leaving little time to react. Or at least, it would if she hadn't already prepared ahead. Arashi hadn't simply unleashed her sand to be a reaction to her tailed state. It gave her an area around her to be able to track anything that came into her bubble. Of course, her eyes couldn't tell her of the position, only her connection to the sand and the movement within the invisible field. So the moment Taki presence made contact, her gaze would shift to see him in front of him, watching as his strike would begin to heavy pierce through her sand shield. Her tailed state allowed for an additional defense, but it was hard to go against and keep going as it began to drill into it with clear intent. Narrowing her eyes, she'd frown as she'd see the cracks, soon reaction quickly as she'd push herself back and begin moving across the surface of the area, her tail held up as a defense as she fling it forward as a means to make him retreat. It was a small delay, but enough for her to gain some ground as she'd narrow her eyes. "Gonna take more than that!" Sliding across the ground, her body would remain firm as she restraighten her posture, her toothy grin remaining as she nudged her head upward as the sand from her shield began to reform over her head as her hands began to create a set of seals. Upon her finish, her hand would rise up toward the sky, creating a haze as the area began to become much like a sand storm. The vision of most would be blurred, unable to see or make note of anything around him, seeming as if they were in the mist of a tan fog. "Ya had your speed....lets see if ya can keep up!" That said, Arashi would seem almost to vanish within the dust storm, her frame blending in as she began to work toward obscuring his vision. At the very least, it would allow for her to see him with her Sand sensing, but make it more challenging for him to note her presence until it was too late. SPOILER: Click to show -S.A Used- Ultimate Defense A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike. Hunter's Instinct With her training from her mother, along with the lessons she learned from her time with the Saeko's Clan, Arashi adapted her tracking ability to a level similar to that of a sensory nin. As such, allowing her much more precision in her ability to find and keep on the heels of individual targets or groups through use of her enhanced sense of smell and ability to identify individuals and objects at long range. Will of Sand Will of Sand- Adding the element of her own chakra into the mixture of sand, Arashi is capable of faster and stronger sand manipulation and attacks. The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku. Wind Justu Boost Due to Shukaku’s natural affinity to wind jutsu, Arashi naturally has an affinity for Fuuton techniques. Her wind techniques are powered up to be strong enough to level a small section of a forest. Similarly, her sneezes have been known to knock her over from the force produced. Enhanced Smell Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose) Chakra Shroud [1 Tail] [Version 1] During moments of extreme stress, danger and emotional downfall, Arashi can easily fall into her one tail form. While she still has some control over this form, the majority of her actions are very feral and simple minded. Sand is forcibly pulled from the ground, yanking the earth around her apart to form a small Takuni based shade that covers her head and half of her body. A sandy tale can be seen before her, molded out of the sand covering her body. Her entire face is hidden by the sand, and Shukaku has greater influence over her. If Arashi is angry at someone, she will attack without hesitation like a wild beast. In this mode, she cannot think properly. She is only a few steps above a wild animal. Though this form in inducted through stress, it has been controlled to the point where it can be activated through her own free will. In such cases, many of her previous held abilities have been enhanced. Her physical attacks are now capable of lifting double of her original limit, and she is able to move at the level of a Jounin Taijutsu user. That would mean the force behind her strikes would be capable of shattering bone and even steel if used to it's full extent. Her endurance and agility are also amplified, allowing her to move faster and to make use of her new skills without quickly succumbing to fatigue. The next improvement is that of her Ninjutsu, Fuinjutsu. Each of which are enhanced in their execution and strength. As such, her more adapt wind techniques prove to be double in power and her sealing techniques last much longer in their effects. Her Sand techniques and Sand Defense also twice as powerful. Once the sand comes in contact with a person, it will wrap itself around them, rendering even invisible targets, visible. They were annoyed. At least he had been able to discern those words between the sound of a forest growing around him. The fact that he had forced them to seem to alter their tactics was a sign enough that they were on a time limit or simply they were not used to have a foe fighting them and surviving this long. Any time for consideration would be cut short as the wolf alerted him. "Behind us!" She barked and Kazuto put his attention into the rearguard. As time dilated stretching seconds into eternity the Senju caught the first of assailants in the corner of his eyes, trees ready to intercept as he would finish the final seal of the technique he had been preparing. As the man readied the bow, beneath him chakra moved rapidly, reaching upwards and emerging into a conical torrent of death as thousands of steel sharp petals dare to blossom, shredding the arrow and buffeting away it remains away the arrow and threatening to shred the man from feet to midsection. Asari kept her sharp gaze away, a scent moving another one keeping in front of her. Keen experience and instinct continued as the second would appear in front of them. Chakra bursting within her as she opened her snout and a jet of water would explode forward, second arrow being caught in the stream and losing its momentum and threatening to fall before Kazuto would turn towards the second assailant and chakra would reach towards his left hand, a deep reverberation followed as chakra suddenly enveloped his hand and eyes wound would find the second man and slash forward above Asari and into the stram that still held the water, slashing through the arrow and water as the phantom claw of a technique flew with murderous intent towards the man.

Using the life giving qualities of Mokuton the user forces their chakra on the roots below the ground to create thousands of cherry blossom petals. The petals violently emerge from the ground forming a conical perimeter of eighty-five centimeters around the user. The petals spin rapidly, their steel sharpness buffeting away conventional weaponry as well as shredding any for that comes into contact with the spinning maw of blossoms.

This technique can be used offensively, as the cone can emerge at a range up to fifteen meters away from the user at an incoming foe, attacking them from below as their lower body is grind by the spinning force of the petals.

The Branching Path

A true-born Senju, Kazuto has mastered Mokuton. Hailed as the one greatest master of the Kekkei Genkai, his abilities with Mokuton are held in high regard, mastering the many techniques for which the clan is renown whilst also bending his ingenuity to create a discipline of his own referred by those within the clan as merely the branching path and by him as Senbonzakura. His techniques can either be great in power and scope or subtle and deceptively simple, creating either durable wooden constructs, imaginative tools for a wide range of occasions or deadly hails storms of cherry blossom petals which Kazuto wields with great mastery.

Might of Heroes

Descendant of a great lineage, the blood of great and legendary heroes of the clan courses through the veins of Kazuto as they do with any other Senju. As such he has been bestowed with robust pools of chakra upon his birth. Through intense training and countless missions these pools of chakra have expanded quite considerably, becoming a Furnace of Might within him, allowing him to fight for longer periods of time and casting powerful techniques without much concern to run out of stamina. Although this chakra makes his control suffer, his impressive reserves make up for this deficit in control.


Paragon of War

His mind is as keen and sharp as blade recently sharpened by a whetstone. Through the learning of tactics, records, on field experience and on the fly ingenuity, the Senju is able to plan before, during and after a fierce fray. It is thanks to this that he can discern the correct course of action and what stratagems and actions should he take. He is able to read and keep the Flow of Battle as flexible as possible. His tactics range from the most subtle ambush within dark corridors to even the most brutal and grim battlefield.

Fell-Handed

After much study and training, Kazuto achieved the ability to weave hand seals and cast techniques with just One Hand. A rare skill among shinobi and a sign of great prowess, the Senju is able to form hand signs forgoing the need to bring the digits of both his hands together, he is able to string a number of techniques without worrying during a fray to be unable to complete techniques if someone targets his hand, as he is able to defend himself with the off-hand by either the use of a technique or by wielding a weapon.

By Asari:

-Enhanced Physical Conditioning. Asari is stronger and more durable then a normal wolf, also being larger. Reaction time is enhanced, and her speed of thought is competitive, making her quick witted in battle.
-Expert Tracking Skills. Being a wolf she has an amazing sense of smell, but her intelligence makes her even more effective at tracking then just the sense of smell alone.
