She battles with feelings of inadequacy and gives in to a more inner darkness as she lets anger and frustration fill her.  This develops to a darker more brutal side where she feels the proper level of strength is not only being able to defeat, but utterly humiliate and dominate one's foes, as if to make them feel powerless and hopeless.

Laying out an ambush and pincer alongside the bridge for the bandits in question, the three man cell team promptly destroy the force with little difficulty after assessing their skills and talents.
