Imagawa Takumi Nakajima Taro masahiro sango

The group decided to stay their hands for now and move closer, attempting to get into an even better position and potentially even board the ship if need be. Utilizing the information on the traps that Taro had observed earlier, he led the group forward, helping them find a path that would not set anything off and draw attention to the group.

With the ramp finally lowered, another presence appeared on the ship. A man armed to the teeth and in more expensive armor, possibly someone from a noble or merchant family. The group was not in-the-know enough to know who he was, but he was certainly someone familiar. The type of face that puts a name right at the tip of the tongue.

He descended the ramp and for a moment, the two spent their time talking. The chief waved to one of his attending pirates and the pirate nodded, going back the way they'd come from the chief's hut. His path curved and he came in the direction of the hiding trio.

What was he looking for over there? And, more importantly, how would the trio avoid detection as he approached? They would either have to find a way to remain hidden or deal with him swiftly without making it apparent that he hadn't completed whatever task he was set to.

It drove Takumi somewhat mad to not immediately recognize who the person was that came down to speak to the chief. The face was oh-so-familiar, but after a few moments it became clear that it was question that they would either never have the answer to or they would have the answer to in just a few moments as one of the pirates began moving in their direction.

Mentally, the Imagawa cursed, but upon hearing Sango mention that they would distract the chief with genjutsu he sprung into action: the time to watch was now over. Leaping high into the air and out of cover Takumi withdrew a flashbomb in one hand and a trio of shuriken in the other. At the apex of his leap he threw the flashbomb directly for the mysterious man wearing armor, following up immediately with the trio of shuriken, each one aimed for a non-lethal point on the man's legs. Takumi trusted that Sango would make good on distracting the chief, and he was more than confident that Taro would follow up by throwing himself into the mix as well.

Upon landing on the ground, Takumi immediately readied himself for his next volley of projectiles by drawing another trio of shuriken, dashing to the side to stay out of the way of Taro's and Sango's attacks.

It'd seem the group whether it was the right or wrong choice would decide to strike. A pirate had been sent their way to retrieve something, Taro couldn't help being curious on what was going on. This person the pirate chief was meeting with seemed like an individual of relatively high importance. Certainly they'd want to discern this persons identity before reacting, at least that'd be the males thoughts. However out the corner of his eye he'd be proved wrong.

Takumi took the first move slightly shocking the chuunin, but they were rivals and he'd not be caught lacking. An immediate rush from his hidden position to the pirate who'd been sent to retrieve the unknown object. Hopefully close enough and the pirate distracted enough, Taro would attempt to slug the person right in face. Rushing with such momentum he'd spin through the punch throwing the whole side of his body into the pirate too. An attempt to shove the man in one direction, specifically towards the ice water at the docks edge.

Whilst performing this action Taro's free hand detached and took hold of one of his scrolls. It was by no means a light item, but after performing his attack he'd throw out the scroll. Attempting to roll it out the long way down the dock towards the pirate chief and company. Seals lined it's interior and as Taro charged after the unrolling scroll, he'd summon what appeared to be two jugs. He left one at the end of the scroll to keep it pinned down as it rolled, as he'd pick up the other jug.

If his targets were still recovering from blinding or merely didn't have the time to react to Taro's actions, then rushing at the group Taro would additionally pull two axes from his scroll in one hand. Once within range of the pirates, he'd attempt to splash those closest with oil. Letting go of the jug as to hopefully hit someone with it, while freeing up his hand again to take one of the two axes uncomfortably in his other hand.
