With Taki having left her other student to fend for herself in the forest for the next foreseeable few days. She now had to attend to other matters. Keru would be returning back to the compound with an escort from the ANBU to the location in question. With his schooling finished for the week he was now set to begin his training in his techniques, for his final exams in the coming months.

As he was dropped off at her door Aki who was on the lookout had spotted him waving down towards the large boy and would race back towards his master to inform her that he had arrived. Hearing this would prompt the girl to make her way towards the entrance after completing her meditation. The girl was dressed in a new set of attire, a sports bra and tight pants but not wanting to look so underdressed in front of her student she threw her jacket over her.

After he was brought back towards the encampment the girl would exit out to greet him. "Yo Keru…how ya doin!” she’d say, giving him a friendly pat on the arm. "Welcome back! You hungry?” the girl would say if he walked by he’d notice that Taki had one of the other rooms besides hers converted into a small meat locker where many meats were stored taking some cues from her uncle about how to cook properly. "If you wanna eat up I can whip up something for ya. How was school?” Taki had gotten used to having Keru around and started to treat him less like a student and more like a younger brother wanting to see how he was doing and carrying on.

Asura was still finding it difficult to keep calm around the ANBU shinobi. He found them intimidating, and they weren't very talkative. Knowing that they were here to ensure he arrived at the sage's grounds was somewhat comforting, but their demeanor and masks were offputting to him. But Aki waving in the distance meant that this trek would soon be over, and he already felt more comfortable with the apes and his surroundings than he did with the shinobi. When he arrived at the campgrounds, he turned and gave them a timid expression of gratitude before walking further into the enclosure. He was taking his breaths as usual when Taki emerged. He noticed she was wearing different clothes, but he didn't pay them too much mind. He hadn't any new clothes of his own; still the normal clothes from the orphanage with the largest black shirt they could give him (which was still a size small about), shorts colored green after his favorite color, and a large zip-up hoodie that was unzipped at the moment.[break][break]She asked him how everything was going at the academy, and if he would like to eat or not. "The classes are... nice. I'm still learning how to do jutsu..." As if on cue, his stomach answered her question about food for him, despite his meager answer- "-A little. But it's fine if you don't want to cook." Asura had a terrible habit of being modest. As for his classes, no problems had arisen with the other students so far. But some did hear of him from the gossip about the orphanage in the village, and it did make him uncomfortable when he caught them staring and whispering to each other. Something he omitted since it was probably nothing... right?

As the boy spoke he’d state that his classes were going well and that he was still learning how to do jutsum the moment he finished the sentence his stomach would begin to rumble. Taki would hear him try to dismiss her need to cook but Taki herself would head to one of the other rooms on the sage compound entering inside were several salted meats that the girl had kept in the room to store, the food wouldn’t last all that long and if she wasn’t going to eat it in time surely Keru would appreciate it.

After a moment the girl would take a piece of raw meat that she had caught earlier that morning and would set it up on the spit for the boy. "Don’t worry about it…” she’d say after getting it all set up. As the food began to cook she’d look over at the young boy.

"You having any trouble with de academy jutsu?” she’d say trying to fish to see if he might’ve needed any help before going off to train on her own. He was going to be here for a while and figured if there was anything she could help him out with she might want to figure all of that out now. When she was there there were about 5 academy techniques someone needed to practice so she wondered if that was still the usual curriculum. Goro had needed help with a few of those when he was there would it be the same for him?

Despite his protests, Taki began preparing food for him. He felt like a bother now that she was doing it, but he kept his mouth shut. He really did want food, after all. Though he usually did. She told him not to worry about her making food, and he sat on the floor if a chair wasn't available. She then asked him if he was learning the academy techniques alright. He thought back to his lessons and what he needed to work on in class. "Well, I've learned three techniques so far, and I think I can do those fine... but there are two I haven't been able to do yet; the Cloak technique, and the Rope Escape technique." He paused after speaking more words than he did usually, trying to think of what it is he could be doing better. "Maybe it's that I can't see what I'm doing..." he thought aloud, not sure how Taki could go about helping him in that case.[break][break]
He was finding it easier to keep his emotions in check since he didn't have to spend that much time around the other kids. If he could have time to work on it with Taki and maybe some of the apes, maybe he could learn the techniques away from the classroom and whatever pressure was there. Though he didn't know how to go about asking her. He was sure she had plenty of other important things to do. "I'm sure I can figure it out eventually..."

As the food finished cooking she’d look over at it and then back at the boy who would remark that he had been learning about the academy techniques and seemed to be having some trouble getting them under wraps. Hearing this the girl would nod in response. "Eyy, dhose use ta give me trouble back in da dey too.” she’d say with a smirk. "In fact I tink dey was two o da last techniques I loined.” her time in the academy seemed like it was yesterday. She'd accomplished so much in a relatively short period of time and wasn’t even entirely sure how she managed to pull it all off.

"If you need help I can help getcha on da right track.” the girl would say as she took a seat on the log that was set up in front of the fire spit that was situated in the center of their little homestead. Asura made a surprised expression when Taki said that she had trouble with the same techniques in the past. She was something of a recent idol for him, so the idea that she could have struggled with the techniques from the academy, especially the same ones that he was currently struggling with, was bizarre to him. Of course, he didn't know how fast she went through the academy, but he was sure she went through quickly. She offered to help him figure out how to perform the two techniques he told her about after they were finished eating. He nodded and pulled up a chair, smiling brightly. "That would be great! ...as long as you're sure you don't mind," he said, confidence peeking through for a small moment before being quelled by his meek nature. "I won't quit... I want to learn how to do them. It will help me learn... control..." He was doing splendidly keeping his other side in check, but he knew that he couldn't let himself lower his guard. If he didn't keep it in check... he might be out of his new home. And he did rather enjoy it here.

As the girl took a piece of meat for herself the boy would smile which was something she hadn’t seen him do for sometime since he’d been there. It was nice. The meat she ate was nice and smoky and as she took a bite the boy would make a remark about happy for her to help him. He didn't know what lie he could possibly tell her to cover that up-or at least what lie he could tell that wouldn't be woefully pathetic. "Well, I..." He felt his heart rate increasing. "I have something... evil inside me—a monster. Every time I get too angry, he comes out..." As he spoke, he subconsciously put a hand on the metal choker around his neck, meant to restrain him if he got out of control. Designed by his caretakers in the orphanage. The girl would listen in to her student as she sat their and ate her food he would mention that he felt as thought there was a monster inside of him and that it would be unleashed whenever he gets angry, a flicker of chakra coming from his collar. Taki hearing those words would stop to reflect on them for a moment noting how dangerous that could be but also how much of an opportunity that most certainly was. It seemed to be getting him rather emotional just talking about it, to the point of where he would ask to be sent back which was odd since he hadn’t done anything.

The issues this boy must’ve been having might’ve been apart of the test that Midori wanted her to work through she was the same way when she first got started and probably figured if anyone could help this boy work out his anger it’d be her.

"Eyy, eyy don’t worry about it I ain’t sendin ya back.” the girl would say as she finished her food tossing the one into a discarded bowl she had lying on the ground beside her. "I was entrusted with ya trainin and if you get outta line…I’ll make sure ta keep ya in check” the girl would say patting him on the back.

"We’ll make keeping ya chakra in orda tha numba one priority, ain’t no beast you can’t tame kid.” the girl would say giving the boy words of encouragement to try and keep his spirits up the work they’d have to do wouldn’t be easy but Taki would do everything she could to help.

Asura kept his head hung over in shame, waiting for Taki to say that he was too dangerous to keep in the compound and that he was going to be sent back to the orphanage. He felt his negative emotions begin to swell a bit at that thought before Taki spoke and assured him that she wasn't going to send him back after all. He blinked in surprise, the swell being quelled as he looked up at her, clearly taken off guard by that. Tears stained his cheeks as he listened to her. She said that she was committed to his training and that she would be able to keep him in check if he got out of control. He wasn't sure she was completely right, but his respect for Taki was enough to make him question his ability to hurt her. She even gave him a pat on the back and told him that they would be able to teach him how to control his chakra. "Y-you can? You're sure?" He rubbed his eyes. It was a pitiful sight for a kid his size. His build certainly didn't match his mind. "You can stop me from hurting anyone else...?" He was given hope by Taki, and he wasn't soon to forget it. He stood there eager for her reply.

She said that she was going to help him and wasn't going to just up and send him back to the orphanage, so she had already shown more care for him than anyone else at this point. Taki told him that she could only show him how to do it. In the end, it was still his responsibility. He nodded, wiping his face to look a little less like a miserable kid. He would finish his food quickly and then follow her out into the forest where she was planning on instructing him. He grabbed his jacket so that he could practice with that. She told him to start showing her what he was having trouble with. He nodded and went to a tree, standing in front of it. He began focusing on his chakra and looking at the jacket with some effort. The chakra responded to his focus and began flaring up. He swallowed before saying, "K-Kakuremino no Jutsu!" He tried to put the chakra into the cloak as fast as possible as he draped it over him. The cloak turned into random splotches of the colors behind him, but nothing that made it a good camouflage. "This is all I can get it to do..."

When they got to their secluded spot within the forest and began their training session the girl would take a look at the manner in which he applied the jutsu and noted that he was seemingly having some trouble with the method he was attempting to apply. "Ya know kid dis used ta fuck me up when I was in de academy too.” she’d say recalling the struggles she had with the technique. "Guess da teacha’s dere still can’t seem to get it awl figa’d out.” the girl would state as she placed her hand on her chin and attempted to formulate a method to help him get this under wraps.

Da issue you’re havin is you’re only applying da chakra to da colors but you aren’t properly matchin da colors to make it blend in.” the girl would state, pointing out the flaws in the manner which he attempted to set up the jutsu. While had the ability something about it kept it from formulating the correct way. "You’ve got de handseals down but your still a bit awf wit da application.” but then another idea came into her head.

"Eitha dat or he’s tryin ta do too much at once.” the girl would think to herself but she'd keep that comment to herself it wasn't really something he needed to hear."Aw’right, so here’s what were gonna do.” the girl would say taking his jacket. "Da concept o dis technique revawlves around chakra control, and since you got a lot of it, it’s kinda harda for you.” the sage would say mostly speaking form experience since she herself had a lot of these same issues when she was just getting started with that she’d devise a plan.

"So instead o changin da whole thing, what I want you ta focus awn just one sleeve, got it.” the girl would say wanting to make sure he understood pausing to wait for him to either nod his head or tell her that he understood. "Focus on making it look like da same color as your arm, take ya time okay, patience is da key to good control I'm right ere if you got any questions alright?” the girl had been learning a lot from the sage animals with patience being the best virtue if he could learn this here he’d be one step closer towards controlling his own chakra and even learning some of what it means to be a sage.

Asura was relieved and even a little surprised to hear that Taki had difficulties with the same technique back when she was learning in the academy. She seemed to blame the teachers, which he hadn't considered, but maybe it could be that they were teaching him wrong after all. He leaned closer, listening intently to her as she said he was incorrectly trying to force colors into the cloth rather than matching them to his surroundings. "O-oh... I thought it would just make the cloth transparent... but that makes more sense." Taki explained further that the concept of the technique was chakra control, and that he struggled with it because he had a larger amount of it. She told him to focus on a small part of the coat rather than the whole thing, and he nodded, waiting for her to return the coat to him.[break][break]When she handed the coat back to him, she told him to try and change the sleeve's color instead of the entire coat this time and told him to take his time and that patience would be the key to mastering the technique. He swallowed nervously, nodding to her. Patience wasn't his strong suit. That was part of the whole struggle of dealing with the demon within. But he had certainly gotten better with his patience because of that. He examined the coat's sleeve and then looked at his naturally darker skin tone right next to it, trying to visualize how the color looked. After he thought he had studied it long enough, he performed the technique once again and tried to take his time. But as he tapped into his chakra pool again, he felt it start burning up, like bile in a stomach too full, and he quickly forced the chakra into the sleeve so that he could end the technique and calm down. His breathing was faster now and he was focusing on remaining calm. The results? The sleeve had been colored, and it was an accurate color, so it seemed that he could accomplish that level of complexity at the very least.

As the girl would look over at the young man as he attempted to get himself into gear in regards to getting his chakra control under wraps, she’d see that he seemed to be struggling with it having to put in extra effort in order to fully make his chakra his own. It was a difficult task for certain but one she was confident he could figure out. As he went over the technique once more the young boy would manage to make the one sleeve match the color that he needed for the technique to work.

"Nice woik.” the girl would say watching his progress. She’d come along way herself and knew what it was like to be in his shoes and she was doing her best to be patient with him.

She’d look to him waiting for him to get started ready to critique him if need be, he seemed to be doing well so far and didn’t think it’d take much more work for him to get the basics down, but she’d be here as long as it took. Taki wasn’t one to coddle people but she knew different people had different coaching styles she’d be there to point out where he went wrong and urge him to try again but she wasn’t going to hold his hand, a very matter of fact manner of teaching

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body and overall Taijutsu prowess increase exponentially most notably her grip strength allowing her to take hold of someone with a painful amount of power amplifying her already proficient ability to grapple with an opponent making it significantly harder to be broken out of as well a deal a considerable amount of damage.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.
