The man had been marked as a racist and left at the location, just his head popping out of the ground by the time the authorities came to seize him. People noticed that, and to a tiny bit, the reputation of the Shitai clan had improved. They suffered hatred, but they decided to not retaliate with further violence. The young man had been arrested for his crimes, and would be away for a good while. Meanwhile, the tents remained safe. With all the talk about what happened, more guard were assigned to help keep them safe, and the Shitai were grateful for the Hidden Cloud for a job well-done.

There was certainly a lot more work to be done before people started accepting the odd clan. Hatred was still a widespread thing in the shinobi world, but change starts with small, decisive actions. The mission had been successfully completed.
