Azarea explained walking up the cliff in a way that he had expected. Common sense told him he'd have to lower chakra to release his foot and all that. Her comment about being a desk ninja for life was pretty funny, he laughed, still paying attention to how much chakra he was using and keeping his core as tight as he could. She would indeed be at the exams, but one step at a time. This was the last little bit of the jutsu, walking while doing everything else.

He released a bit of the chakra on his first foot, taking a step up. He'd performed the first step pretty easily, but he kept the slow pace while he was getting used to it. Eventually, he got the hang of it. He was a quick learner, after all. He looked back at Azarea, "Think I might have it down?" He'd say as he walked back down the cliff. It still felt weird, especially switching from the ground to the wall and vice versa. But he could do it. That was improvement. Plus, he'd probably get more used to it over time. Next, he'd have to learn water walking... in winter. Yikes. The boy already had enough dislike for the cold as is. He didn't need even more reason. 

He took a second to regain his composure after getting back on the actual floor, listening to whatever Azarea had left to say before dismissing him. "See ya, Azarea." He'd say as he picked up his weapons before heading out.
