Yakitsukeru was busy still. Having chosen to climb by brute force she was climbing at a steady rate that was actually rather impressive all things considered. Wall-Walking would have made it easier, but Yakitsukeru was on the absolute basics still. Even the two real jutsu she did know outside of the academy techniques one was completely utility and the other was the only jutsu Mitsuda had taught her so far. Summoning was no joke, but it was costly for who she often actually called forth from beyond. She would much rather just use paperbombs, they were efficient. What was a Fireball but a burst of fire? What was a paperbomb but the same, except plentiful and easy to set scenarios with? In a different style of thought, it was also absurdly unsafe for anyone near here... this was why she hated working with others. Mairasu at least only made for one body to worry about in any given scenario, but here she had two to deal with. Spending her time getting to the top she would slide up over the ledge and scuttle a few feet from the ledge before lightening her haori again. "Ugh. I dessspissse cliffsss," Yaki would say catching her breath as her strength came with the cost of dragging her heavier body up a cliff. The two genin had certainly found their own unique ways to reach the peak and for the life of him Shikajin couldn't figure out why they were so averse to simple wall walking. He hadn't taken the pale one for the mountain climber type but would give her credit for scaling the mountainside with only a couple kunai to keep her moving, whereas Miroru transformed herself into a bird and began to soar about the area. It was a good idea on the off chance that the genin managed to notice anything out of the ordinary given that this mission did have a bit of extra weight to it. All C-ranks had the potential for danger but rarely did it involve an intervillage conflict concerning one of the oldest clan's in Konoha being shaken up so severely, and there were bound to be wide reaching repercussions.

But they'd cross that bridge when they got to it, or if they were lucky would never even see the bridge to begin with but that was wishful thinking. The Nara would continue to scale the mountainside one foot in front of the other as he continued to scan the immediate area. In time the man would reach the top not long before Yaki crested the rock formation as well. Their heightened pace of running may not have winded her but scaling a mountain had definitely done the trick. He'd give Miroru a few moments to either signal that something was up or, if she began to descend, would follow suit so they could continue to their destination. Chances were if anything was to happen it would be soon since the trio were a good distance away from any major population centers so calling for back up was going to be nigh impossible.
