NPC Signing Up For Mischief Yamanaka Itsuki

"See!" The boy jeered only to be taken aback by the hurt look the girl shot him at his bragging The boy rapidly backpedaling a the sight of tears while the disguised Itsuki beat a casual retreat. "Uh~ Anyway let's go get lunch. My treat!" The boy quickly added hoping to sooth his friend and crushes feelings. Ah young love.

But Itsuki had his own quest to continue. With the minor distraction past the boy would his way upwards until he reached the top floor of the academy. He could try to climb out a window and tree walk up to the flag pole, but there had to be a more standard way to reach the thing didn't there? If the boy took the time to glance around he'd notice a thin outline of a hatch, a little ring inset into it to push up on leading out to the roof. Where his target stood tall, the flags flapping from the pole in the light breeze ready for a new addition.

Finding himself getting closer and closer to the roof, Itsuki really wished he had managed to learn the tree climbing jutsu, because it would have made the whole situation easier when he came to the highest point he could find in the building. Alas, his sensei hadn't yet treated him to such training, and so the young Genin was forced to find an alternative. Thankfully, it didn't take him too long to find a hatch in the roof, and after a little messing around, he was able to open it up and bring himself up onto the top of the Academy building itself.

There, before him, lay his goal. The Academy flagpole.

The boy threw his sensory skills out as far as he could, checking the area for any indication he had been spotted or was being followed. Should the coast be clear, he would quickly pull the flags down, and with the help of a kunai (to make some holes) and some ninja wire, tie the Hokage's underwear onto the rope. Rapidly pulling on it to raise the boxers high above the Academy, Itsuki could feel himself start to sweat, moving as swiftly as he could without making any hasty mistakes.

As soon as the boxers touched the top of the flagpole he was moving again, hands forming the seal for Shunshin as he launched himself away from the scene of the crime and touched down right at the edge of vision for the building. Hands flipping through the seals he had learned to summon the Magpies, Itsuki tried to bring back the one that had set the challenge, to prove to it that he had completed the task assigned to him.

[Ronin]

In a puff of smoke, the jaunty little magpie reappeared, this time much less awkwardly than it had done before. For a moment, it silently observed the flapping underwear on the flagpole, then turned to look up at the Yamanaka. "Perfection." The corvid flapped his wings, taking to the air, before wheeling around to land atop the flagpole, with the boxers flapping dramatically beneath him. "Well, seeing as you have displayed the necessary strength of will and mental fortitude to be able to handle the majesty of the Magpie Contract, you, Yamanaka Itsuki, have earned the right to bear the Magpie Contract, as well as the privileges that come with it. We expect great things from you, kid."

Itsuki let out a sigh of relief at the magpie's proclamation, "thank you Umou-san, I promise to use the contract wisely... or at least, appropriately" he declared, bowing to the bird in respect. After all, it probably wasn't wise by most standards to steal the Hokage's underwear and fly them from the Academy's flagpole, but for the Magpies it was clearly appropriate.

Really, he was sure there would be incredibly useful things he could do with such a summoning contract signed, and he couldn't help but pat the scroll tenderly where it sat in an inner pocket. He'd have to find a nice, safe location for it, to ensure that nothing bad happened, and also to make sure no one could steal it from him. Itsuki wasn't about to let just anyone take the thing from him after all.

Heading back home with a spring in his step, the young Yamanaka would be completely oblivious to the chaos that would come from his prank. It would also take him approximately a week to notice that his hair had lightened at the tips to a colour reminiscent of the plumage of the magpies, an inbuilt prank built into the contract that ensured their summoners shared the colouration of the magpies themselves.

After a startled surprise, he'd find the look suited him well.
