[attr="class","goro"]A rather large yawn escaped a surprisingly small body as Goro exited his home in the Okada compound. He scratched the back of his head, and his messy blonde hair was sticking up more so than usual, even for a bad day. To anyone that looked at him, it would be quite obvious that he had slept very well but just wasn’t quite awake yet. His hand slipped from the back of his neck to his left cheek, continuing the scratch as he walked.

Goro wore clean clothes, but it was obvious he had trained quite hard the day before and a lingering smell of sweat and mud aired out around him with the fresh morning air. It would mostly leave him by the time he got to the training grounds anyway, so it wasn’t something he was too worried about. He would wash up when he was done training for the day today as he had two missions planned for the next day that would require him to be a tad more presentable.

As he continued on his way through the village, he passed by the village gates, his crystal blue eyes lifting to see a small crowd of people gathered, waiting to sign their names and present their rights to enter the village. There seemed to be quite a few visitors entering the village, though he was curious if it had something to do with scouting for the upcoming Chuunin Exams, or if it was just odd circumstantial timing. Goro took this moment to eye the people entering, most of them wearing their village headbands boldly.

He walked up a bit further, investigating the people further to determine if there was perhaps anyone his age he could rough up for the day with a ….warm Iwa welcome. That didn’t seem to be the case though, and he would shrug with disappointment, admitting to himself they wouldn’t probably put up much of a fight anyway. "Lame…” he would say out loud, drawing a bit of attention that he would simply brush off. "Slim pickens again, huh?”

As people seemed to be gathering through the village many had come from near and far wanting to learn more about the land and also to get themselves accommodated with the village. In Asuka’s case she had come for a more personal reason she had met someone from the clan not too long ago and had made her way into the village for a chance to see her again she was there on business but figured she might have time to say hello.

As she made her way into town the girl would be wearing a new outfit something more suited to traveling the roads a gi with a long pair of hakama pants and a scarf wrapped like a bandana around her neck. She looked quite out of place as she made her way into the village, her only identified being her Kirigakure headband that she wore atop her head that could be seen just outside of the bangs on her head. As she waded through the crowd of people she'd spot a young boy who seemed to be looking for someone or something it would seem it made her raise a brow. "That kid is staring pretty hard, do I really stand out like a sore thumb?" the girl would wonder feeling a bit self conscious about her fashion choice.

As she kept going she'd look around trying to find the Okada compound, not entirely too sure what she was looking for she just remember the large flag she was told to look out for. "If I were looking for the Okada clan compound where would I go...?" she was trying to picture the flag in her mind to remember where she needed to go.

As a sole practitioner of Taijutsu Asuka has relentlessly pushed her body against itself for spectacular results: her strength carries over into her speed, and as such alongside the control she exerts body in spirit and in mind, she is intensely faster than those of a similar level of strength and maneuvering expertly as if the air were an extension of her own body.

A Disciplined Iron Bull:
During Asuka's time as a genin the youth had begun to realize that in order to excel as a shinobi she needed to learn how to properly utilize her chakra. And while she doesn't posses the greatest of reserves the youth has learned through rigorous meditation how to keep her chakra still and calm. As a result she is now able to wield it with a great deal of control and is able to channel only the necessary amounts of chakra into the few jutsu she uses in order to make the most of their abilities whilst still being able to keep up in a fight.

Goro watched as the crowd thinned quickly until there was only one woman left standing there as dumb as day. Her expression caught Goro's attention and he smirked hectically. If she didn't have anywhere to go, then the Okada compound was a high priority. There was plenty to see and good food too...and perhaps a good fight would be in order if she was a gym-goer. He nearly licked his lips thinking of the opportunity.

If it wasn't the case that she needed somewhere to go and that she was simply lost, then he could easily use that to his advantage. If he gave her directions, then she owed him, right? Owed him a spar?

Goro approached her, hands crossed over his chest. "Aye! Ya lookin' a wittle lost. Where ya headed? Maybe I can help?" He offered with a false sense of politeness. He had to ease into it, you know, warm them up to the idea of getting pummeled in a land they didn't recognize.

As the girl made her way into town and kept moving a young boy would approach her asking her if she was lost. "Oh hello there, is it really that obvious?” the girl would say seeming a little embarrassed. "I guess so…I’m looking for the Okada clan compound, I’d heard that they recruit lots of strong shinobi and I was looking for one of their trainers, Okada Himari you know her?” the girl would say there was an eagerness to her tone of her voice recalling how thrilling their battle had been someone like her had surely done battle with a bevy of great warriors and surely could help her accomplish the goal she was attempting to master.

She’d been going around with the free time she had wanting to challenge the best swordsman her village had to offer in order to take notes for her friend Kasumi in order to help her achieve her goal of becoming the greatest swordsman, and to also expand her own horizons as well. Ever since she had given up her job as an instructor she’d use whatever time she hadn’t spent training to try and seek other strong fighters on her own as a means of improving herself and to help better the village.

It was more obvious than he cared to admit, though, given the crowd that had already dispersed, he knew most of the individuals from before would have likely been just as lost as she was if it hadn’t been for their escorts. He didn’t know the inner workings of whether someone required an escort or not, but perhaps this meant she was of higher ranking, a trusted kunoichi between the villages, or perhaps she had the ability to refuse one. Either way, it seemed that maybe she needed a little help finding her way.

I can show ya to our clan compound for sure!” He was clearly excited and eager to help, not that he wasn’t already before. He also seemed quite proud to be a part of his clan.

For someone from another village to seek out the Okada for their specialties made him feel like a part of something much bigger, and if he could extend a helping hand (and maybe get rewarded with a good spar at the end) then it was well worth it.

"Sure traveled a long ways for trainin’. Whatcha got in mind? Wrestlin?” he asked curiously with a cocked head. "Don't look like much of a wrestler ta me..." Goro eyed her a bit.

As the girl gave her inquiry into why she was there she’d mention that she was looking for Okada Himari to which the boy had responded stating that he was her cousin and that he’d be able to show her to the compound. "Seriously!? Hey thanks!” the girl would say with an eager grin the gril would follow the younger boy with the peculiar accent did all Okada’s talk this way she wondered? Himari had a very strong accent and it would appear that he had one as well something that she’d have to note it was kind of charming and made them stand out in a way that she thought was interesting; they certainly weren’t like any of the people that she had known back in Kirigakure.

As the kept walking he’d note that she came a long way just for training and said that she didn’t look too much like a wrestler based on how she dressed which she thought was funny considering what she was wearing. "Let’s just say your cousin left quite the impression on me and I really want to fight her again.” the girl would say with a enthusiastic tone of voice that woman had pushed her to the limit in their last battle which was something that didn’t happen often and she wanted that thrill again! The feel of a good fight! The Okada were something else and their fighting style was something to behold.

Every time it was during a mission or the like it felt…forced to him. He hoped this way he could at least feel like he was doing some good here and there, and of course it was nice that it even had something to do with his clan.

"Yeh, da Okada’ll do dat to ya!” He laughed a bit, wrinkling his nose. "But ya know, even I’m a better fighter than Himari,” he exaggerated, sticking his chin upward. He was, of course, exaggerating, but that didn’t go without saying that Goro was an incredibly good fighter for a boy of his age. His natural strength coupled with the Gate of Opening and his massive chakra reserves from the Gobi gave him quite the advantage over others, and he wasn’t against showing off his skills when the chance came to it.

"Well, you can follow me if ya wanna. I’ll show ya da way.” He started to walk off, his hand waving as if to gesture for her to follow him. "Ya never mentioned your name, by the way…” He looked over to her with bright blue eyes.

As the girl walked along the streets with the young boy taking in the sights of the town as they made their way towards the compound in question the young boy would have a remake statint hat the Okada tend to leave that impression he was a humorous little boy she had only wished that her students were as spirited as he was. At his jest that he was an even better fighter than Himari the girl would humor the smaller boy.

"Oh is that so?” the girl would say looking down at him with a chuckle, but little did she know the power that the small boy actually wielded something she had been attempting to get her hands on all her own. Shortly after he’d offer her directions to the compound and the girl would follow along. "Thanks I’d appreciate it.” the girl would remark following along with him during this he’d remind her that she never told him her name, which was right she hadn’t even realized as such.

"Oh me, I’m Asuka, Waruichi Asuka, pleased to meet you.” the girl would say as the two of them made their way towards the Okada compound along with its rather interesting architecture it didn’t exactly look like anything that she’d ever actually seen before. "So this is the Okada compound?” the girl would think to herself not sure what to make of the locale.

Himari was a great fighter, there was no denying that, but give it a few years and she would be obsolete, especially if Goro managed to master his Eight Gates and control over the Five Tailed Beast. A part of him was already growing cocky with the idea, but there was also a still hesitation in his mind that prevented him from wanting to stray too far from safe land.

Goro wasn’t dumb, though. He knew he had people watching out for him, even at times when he thought he might be alone. It would only make sense, after all, for someone to be watching to make sure that a newly sealed Gobi wouldn’t somehow wriggle its way free of its cage. That’s all Goro was at this point right–a cage? It was a depressing thought, and one he refused to settle with. He might temporarily be considered a cage for the tailed beast, but eventually…they would fight alongside each other as allies. This was at least something he could hope and strive towards.

He would stare at the compound as if it was his first time seeing it, as always it was something he was very proud to be a part of and even more proud to be able to show off to someone. "Yup! Make ya’self at home. Gym’s dis way. Himari might be dere?” He said with a shrug. If she wasn’t there, then odds were she wasn’t out of town for some mission or other something she had to do.

The boy opened the doors to the gym, but it seemed Himari wasn’t there. He turned to Asuka, "Looks lika she’s not here today…ya want me to leave a message for ya and have her come yer way?” he asked with a cocked head.

As the two of them made their way towards the locale, she’d take a gander at the large building and would head inside with the young boy. "Why does he call it a gym and not a dojo?” the girl would wonder as they kept moving inside she’d notice that the location looked very much like the gymnasium that she and Himari had gone into some time ago. "So they have two of them…?” the girl would think to herself.

But as they made their way inside she’d hear that Himari wasn’t in the gym for the day which was a disappointment to the young woman she was really looking forward to seeing her again. "Oh really, that sucks…oh well just tell her that umm…Asuka came by.” the girl would say a little bashfully coming by unannounced was a little odd afterall.

The girl would let out a sigh. "And here I came all this way for a fight.” the youth would say feeling a bit frustrated by the prospect. "Maybe I’ll go visit Kazuyo.” with that the girl was a little dejected, not sure of what her next steps would be. She didn't exactly want to leave but there wasn't exactly too much else for her to do. She hadn't exactly anticipated her not being here but it might've been better for her to actually contact her.

However her absence seem to hit her a bit harder than she realized not fully understanding what it is, other than her teacher she didn't have many kindred spirits. "Thanks for showing me the way, Goro.”

[attr="class","goro"]Goro cocked his head. "Nah I said what I said,” he retorted cockily. It was a gym and he would die on that hill. The Okada had their way of doing things, and that wasn’t some prissy ninja "dojo”. "Real ninjas use gyms,” he ended matter-of-factly.

The boy would his hands around a bit, "You don’t gotta leave! See uhhh,” his blue eyes would jolt around, "Ya know since you’re already here, we could have a go at it!” He would pause, assessing Asuka’s response before continuing. "After all, ya owe me!”

He would pause yet again. Who was Kazuyo, anyway? Was he supposed to know who that was?

She wasn’t going to be rude and just leave, right? He’d shown her this far into their compound to find Himari, it was only fair she showed him the ropes a bit. Besides, he really wanted to show off the Eight Gates technique he’d been working on better performing.

He placed his hands on his hips and leaned forward. "Well, what’dya say! Can’t turn someone away dat’s been so hoppsitable, can ya?” He would say the word entirely wrong, but she’d get the idea.

Did she say that out loud? The girl would wonder as he looked back at her she had a bad habit of talking to herself ubt wasn’t aware she was doing it. Stating that real ninja’s use gyms, he was a funny one are all Okada this witty. The girl would wonder, even so she was still dejected at the prospect of not getting a chance to spar with Himari but before she’d make her way to the door he would seemingly stop her, trying to come up with a reason for her to stay.

He'd Saying that he owed her, Humoring the young one she’d turn to him. "Oh I owe you do I.” she’d say with a snicker as she turned and humored the boy. He’d say she couldn’t turn away someone who had been so hospitable. "Oh well alright.” the girl would say he really did seem like he liked having her around and it was just a simple sparring session she couldn’t just turn walk away.

"Come on, take me to the Max. You guys have one here too right?” the girl would say looking down at him, the gymnasium seemingly had the same layout so she figured it was the same but wouldn’t really know until he showed her.

Summary:

Heavy Handed Iron Fist:
With the rigorous training that Asuka had to endure as she honed her body to levels of perfection rivaling that of any martial arts master. Asuka's strength has increased 10 fold to the point where she is able to crush stoned within her grasp and breaks bones of lesser individuals with ease. And while she still has much to learn as a chunin. The youth's power is not one to be challenged lightly, as she is able to perform physical feats that would seem inhuman to even most shinobi.

Hijutsu: Kinu no Eikyō:
Asuka is a member of the Waruichi clan and as such has the ability to control a special chakra infused silk that was forged by a special group of silkworms that feed on the corpses of dead clansmen. With it Asuka can craft and shape the silk to her will and uses it in a mostly supplementary fashion to aid her in battle alongside her powerful taijutsu skills.

Iron Burst:
As a sole practitioner of Taijutsu Asuka has relentlessly pushed her body against itself for spectacular results: her strength carries over into her speed, and as such alongside the control she exerts body in spirit and in mind, she is intensely faster than those of a similar level of strength and maneuvering expertly as if the air were an extension of her own body.

A Disciplined Iron Bull:
During Asuka's time as a genin the youth had begun to realize that in order to excel as a shinobi she needed to learn how to properly utilize her chakra. And while she doesn't posses the greatest of reserves the youth has learned through rigorous meditation how to keep her chakra still and calm. As a result she is now able to wield it with a great deal of control and is able to channel only the necessary amounts of chakra into the few jutsu she uses in order to make the most of their abilities whilst still being able to keep up in a fight.

Though, if he thought about it perhaps that was where she and Himishi had once met and fought. "Sure ting! It’s just on da other side,” he said with a solid skip in his step.

He led Asuka to the Max, the bright opening of the arena shining brightly down on them. Black steel beams and orange accents showed the Okadan pride. There were several areas in the giant arena marked as set areas for sparring with boundaries clearly marked.

"Dis at all like you ‘member?” he asked with a cheeky grin. The feeling of walking into an empty gym was something that he would never get used to. He loved seeing it being used, but something about it being empty from time to time was just as interesting. Perhaps it was because it meant he could go all out without worrying about interrupting someone else’s fight. The thought would only get Goro more riled up though.

He would position himself at the end of one of the boundaries, jumping lightly in place and then stretching. "Soooo, ya ready for dis or what? We burning daylight ‘ere!”

As the girl mentioned the Max he seemed to light up his youthful excitement reminding her of someone of her own students a smaller one in particular a certain friendly little mushroom but he was much more spirited it would seem. "I sure do its where I met your cousin, i was in Kuwana a few weeks ago for the chunin exams.”

With the two of them making their way there she’d notice the colors of the steel beams and how the Okadan seem to put their mark on everything they touched even more so on the things they owned. He’d ask her if the room they stood in looked as if she remembered the ground was made of the same concrete from before and the colors were all the same. It was a perfect match. "Exactly like I remember.” she’d say excited to be back at the gym recalling her battle she had with Himari the last time she was here.

As she looked around the boy would make his way over towards the center and would ask her if she was ready to go at it, again with that strong Okada spirit! "Sure, Sure just a minute…” the girl would say as she took the bandages that she wore from off of her arms and legs and placed it inside of a pouch on the back of her uniform. Leaving her with nothing but her spandex, afterwards the girl would get into her stance, placing one hand low and another at her side. "I’d better go easy on him, don’t wanna hurt the little guy.” she’d think to herself. "Ready when you are!"

[attr="class","goro"]Goro cocked his head to the side as the woman removed her bandage, wondering why she would limit herself at all. He’d smirk, a bit creepy would someone his size as it was a clear sign of confidence and eagerness with energy within him to match it.

"Oohoooho! Let’s see you keep ya hands up! Hehe!”

There would be a burst of chakra that released from him, and in a flash Goro would disappear, reappearing behind Asuka with a kick extended outward towards her rib cage. Asuka would be able to hear the wind from the kick whistling before she likely even saw it coming. He had released his first gate, and at this point, it was merely second nature to him. The power behind his kick could have easily shattered the bone of someone who was more fragile than Asuka. Lucky for her, she would have had tighter bundles of muscle protecting her from the attack if it were to land at all.

He wanted to have a better backup rather than only relying on the Front Lotus while his Gate of Opening was released. It was considerably harder than it would appear as the speed required for the sidekick was demanding on his small body and muscles. Just as Asuka's increased muscle would have protected her, Goro had also done his part in training his own body to prepare itself for potentially harmful strikes, even if they happened to be his own. It would seem his durability training was coming in handy in more ways than one.

Should the kick have landed, it would smack loudly in the empty arena. If it missed, he would quickly attempt to follow up with another sidekick with the opposite leg, equally as powerful.
