it was time for their separation and honestly, Kyoko was worried especially since things wouldn't be going exactly like how her brother had planned. yet at the same time, Kyoko had complete faith in her brother, and though they would need to be flexible in how this might change she was hoping overall it would end up with the same result of rescuing the children. Taking the scroll Daichi made and watching him go up the side of the ship Kyoko began her expedition.[break][break]

First things first was getting into the porthole without making too much noise. If it didn't have glass on it she would have been able to squeeze through no problem, but the glass meant she needed to possibly make some noise alerting the pirates of her position. So how was she to reduce this noise to not alert them all if any at all? Well, it was a risk, but she was willing to try it as she pulled out her explosive tags. Taking the tags stick surface used to attach to objects she would cover as much of the glass as she could. Usually one would use chakra to activate these tags, but instead, Kyoko was using them similar to tape hoping their adhesive was strong enough for what she was about to do. Taking the blunt end of Nuibari she would smash through the glass hoping the tape would stop it from spilling the glass into the ship and possibly lowering the noise made when it shattered.[break][break]

When the glass of the porthole was broken she would pull the tape and broken glass through the porthole to her side and hide the shards and tags in her pouch so they wouldn't drop into the water making a splash. Once completed she would then sneak her way through the porthole and attempt to use the shadows for cover as she activated her Yamaguchi eyes to keep tabs on those around her.

Clambering up onto the deck, Daichi quickly hid behind some barrels that would give him a brief period of cover while he figured out the layout of the deck, the people on board, and how to tackle this particular challenge. Based on the positioning of the enemies on deck it was clear that he would need to take on the man at the helm first, though he also had the strongest chakra signature, and if Daichi fumbled a quiet assassination attempt then he’d be dealing with a lot of enemies all at once. Though if drawing attention to himself meant that Kyoko was able to get away safely with the kids, then that was what mattered more than anything else. The ship still needed to be sunk, but that would be easier to achieve with the kids safely gone. Ideally, though, he’d be able to take care of the guy at the helm discreetly… then the rest of the mission could go smoothly from there. He quickly wrote out another Shishi Heiko tag for his own use, a plan rapidly coming together in his mind—take out the man’s ability to use chakra, then take him down quietly before he had a chance to sound an alarm. A simple plan, but hopefully effective. Once the tag was prepared, Daichi formed a single handseal to flash-step up the deck and behind the man at the helm; in one smooth motion he slapped the Shishi Heiko tag onto his back, and in the next drew a kunai to stab into the meat of his throat, aiming to silence him before he could cry out for help.
