For a moment, Sora didn’t know how to react. One second, Raimaa was sitting there, eating her pie, innocent and sweet as could be, and then next? The next she was up close, leaning forward just enough to push her cleavage out a hair more than appropriate, her voice sharp and sultry as reverted back to the same woman she had been at first, but without the edge of violence underneath. Well. Not the same edge, anyway. Ok, what. The actual. Fuck.

The Jounin took a deep breath as the Futago bit her lip, clearly enjoying herself- and then made a decision, her right hand grabbing Raimaa’s real arm by the wrist as she stalked away from the half-eaten pie, pulling the other woman with her. She all but stalked down the train, her face flush but set with determination as she took the woman back to where this had all started, her train car, and dragged her inside, slamming the door shut behind them. It was only when the door was shut and securely bolted that she dared to turn around, her lips spread in a soft, knowing smile.

"That’s funny." Sora said, her right hand still holding onto Raimaa’s wrist as she stepped in close to the woman, voice smooth and seductive. "Because I could’ve sworn you just said you didn’t want to have sex with me." Her free arm wrapped around the taller woman’s waist then, pulling her in close until they were bust to bust, nose to nose, eye to eye. If Raimaa wanted to be a tease, she could play a game of her own. One she was much, much better at than the Futago suspected or knew.

"Unless…” She paused, her smile widening as she leaned in closer, close enough to whisper in Raimaa’s ear. "Are you afraid? Scared you might not be the top dog between us?”

Woohoo~ Sora got all angry and dragged Raimaa off. This was perfectly reminiscent of Mei. The two were going to get along like Emiri at a gender reveal party. So Raimaa would let Sora play around for a bit, and then coo.

"Ohh, my apologies. I should clarify the comment. I don't want to just have sex with you. I don't want to snatch a bit of carnal pleasure between stops, and then walk out of the train and never see you again. I don't particularly care about dogs of any level. I just want to keep you for my own. To not just throw away after a moment, but to have and to hold. To dress and distress~"

Sora smiled as Raimaa reacted to what she was doing, her coo sending a ripple of electricity up the Jounin’s spine as she slid her other arm around the taller woman’s waist, not wanting to waste the opportunity. Her words made the ripple a wave, and before she could stop herself the Kiri-nin was pushing Raimaa until her back was against the window, breathing heavy as she held onto the woman’s waist tight. Not because she was worried she would pry her loose, but because she knew if she let go, even for a second, there wouldn’t be a single thing save physical force that could stop her from tearing the Futago’s clothes off right then and there.

"Careful now." She whispered, voice soft and thready as she tried to get herself back under control. It was hard, not trying to reach for the thing she’d wanted for so long now that it was in sight. She had to though. Raimaa was married, and cheating… cheating was bad. Very bad. Terrible, really. Even if everyone involved wanted it. Maybe especially if everyone involved wanted it. "Don’t make promises you can’t back up."

Though Sora might have been flirting, it was actually a good point for Raimaa, and so she would indeed exhale and calm herself down. Raimaa seemed totally unperturbed by being pushed around and pressed against the wall, which said something about her wife.

"You are right. I can not promise anything, so I must just be gentle. I can give a massage though. It is great for destressing, and with the right places you can soothe a lot of built up tension. Which you seem to have oceans of.."

Breathe. Just breathe. The thought echoed through Sora’s mind like a drum, every fiber of her being bent towards not forcing herself onto Raimaa and ruining her vacation before it even started. She took in a slow, deep breath, then another, then a third, the tension in her frame only easing once she’d released the third breath, her arms sliding down to her sides as the Futago spoke, seeming to come to herself.

"Right." The Kiri-nin said, lips parting in a soft, slow sigh as she stepped back, creating some distance between them. Too much contact right now was a bad idea. She couldn’t put Raimaa in a position where she had to choose between her vows and her desires, and not just because she was certain to be on the losing end of that choice. It was simply the right thing to do, no matter how much she might want the opposite. "Maybe we should just… talk.”

That would be safe, wouldn’t it?

"Hmm" Raimaa would ponder for a moment, before tapping her arm, and using a summoning jutsu to call in a pair of bokken.

"There is a lot of heat in your blood right now, and talking does not resolve that. So why don't we have a nice moment of practicing some sword-fighting in confined areas. Never know when you are going to need to stab a fool, and so it's good to have as much experience as you can get with constricted swinging.

No jutsus or hijutsus or anything like that, just a hot-blooded spar where we avoid the cabin walls"

Sora blinked as the woman summoned a pair of bokken from some indiscernible space on her arm, barely managing to catch the one thrown her way as Raimaa spoke. Her sky-blue gaze was wide, her face still flush from before, her breathing slow and heavy despite not having done anything even remotely tiring. Somewhere in the back of the Kiri-nin’s mind she noted how pliant the taller woman was, but the thought was drowned out by the feel of the wooden weapon in her hands, a familiar presence that seemed, at least for now, to calm the tempest behind her eyes and direct it towards something she could actually do.

"Right. Yeah, sure." She breathed, stepping back away from Raimaa as she raised her wooden sword up in a mud-guard, both hands on the hilt, tip aimed at the woman’s eyes to hide, if only a little, its length. It was the most basic of Ittroryu’s stances, but also the most useful; you could issue out or defend an attack from any angle, granting a level of options and flexibility that other stances simply lacked. That made it predictable in the hands of a novice, as they tended to focus too much on overhand blows, but for a master like her or Raimaa? It was perfect.

Even if they weren't her own weapons, Raimaa's brain instantly keyed into every part of it. The length, the width, the weak points and hard points. The best and worst places to strike and be struck by. It was a cool little thing in her brain, that used to be good with people but now only worked on the dependency of steel. She had been betrayed too many times to trust people anymore.

So, to begin the fight, Raimaa would hold hers in a loose one handed grip, her own Formless Rogue Style. Focusing on her, the way she breathed, the way she moved, the way the world was. And then she stepped forwards, a slash from the bottom left going up. It was - for a woman of Sora's skill - terribly telegraphed, but that was kind of the point.

Sora’s breathing slowed as the other woman readied herself, holding to the informal stance that marked the Formless Rogue Stye. It was a flexible school of fighting, a method that didn’t require the user to wield a specific type of weapon but could be utilized by anyone, using anything, so long as they practiced enough. Almost the complete opposite of Ittoryu, philosophy wise, but when you reached the heights of skill, many of the more formalized styles became much more fluid, their rigid movements adapting to the needs of the moment and bending before the skill of the user in question. Three, two, one…

Raimaa came at her with a telegraphed blow, a quick rising diagonal, left to right, and without thinking Sora defended, her blade dipping down as her arms twisted to bring the wooden weapon into a perfectly executed side block. Raimaa’s bokken surged up, its path altered by her block, and before the other woman’s strike had finished she moved, stepping in and untwisting her arms, bokken coming up in a swift, two-handed blow, left to right, across the Futago’s upper torso. It wasn’t as hard a blow as she could have done, but it wasn’t soft either; if it landed it would definitely hurt, though not break a bone.

A decent level of strength. Raimaa felt the blow shudder through the bokken, and became aware of Sora's physical strength. Less than Raimaa's, even when the arm was factored out, but that would not change much in the fight. What might change something is how Raimaa fought. Very rarely did Shinobi carry shields, because they were slow and bulky and hard to carry around. So there was not a lot of focus around going around them, or planning against them.

Raimaa would roll her shoulder, and the bokken smacked off against the solid prosthetic, while her sword recovered in a fluid and incredibly precise manner, and came in for a solid downwards blow to the Trapezius.

Sora felt her bokken hit Raimaa’s prosthetic and immediately knew the woman wouldn’t be phased. The wood rattled in her hand, the impact stinging through her fingers as she pivoted, retracting the wooden sword and twisting out of the path of the Futago’s attack, blade coming up barely in time to block the downward blow, deflecting it down and to her right in a sloppy but functional flowing block. Raimaa was stronger than her, physically speaking. Not by much, but enough for it to matter in a drawn out spar without jutsu or live steel. If she wanted to beat the woman, she would have to keep the pressure up and make her react, rather than set the pace as she had been.

Stepping into her opponent’s space even further, Sora squared her shoulder as moved and shoved her whole weight into Raimaa’s chest, hopefully pushing her back and knocking some of the wind from her sails. The Jounin followed the blow up with another pivot, shifting her blade down as she arced it upwards in a right to left diagonal meant to ward her back than anything else. It would hurt if it hit, but she was gambling on the woman not wanting to block too many attacks with that one handed grip, regardless of the strength difference.

A one-handed grip had it's advantages, when your other arm was a tricked out prostethic. As Sora squared her shoulder to shove, Raimaa put her hand on said shoulder and used it as a flat service to vault over the woman, legs tucked to avoid hitting the celling. She didn't capitalize on this great show of acrobatics, just landing being Sora and spinning with a coy laugh to get her next move.

Raimaa, at this point, would be notably breathing in sync with Sora, attuned to the woman's form and flow in the exchange. Fertile ground for Shattering Spectre, were the rules not hampering her from doing that exact thing.

Raimaa’s vault over her had two effects on Sora: the first was shock, sheer, utter surprise that a person, even someone as skilled as she knew the Futago to be, would try such a risky maneuver in such a confined space. The second was respect; she had known the taller woman was good, but seeing, experiencing it for herself… That was something altogether different. Even so, the Jounin wasn’t quite ready to gawk just yet, and whirled around, coiling the muscles in her core as she turned, only to unleash them in a rapid horizontal cut that cleaved the air between them with all the strength she could muster.

Her lips were spread in a tight smile now; it had been a long time since anyone had pushed her in a pure sword fight, one where skill and timing were more important than how much chakra you could throw around. She even let loose a low chuckle as her blade cut through the air, sky-blue gaze shining with fierce enjoyment at the challenge before her. Come on Raimaa. Let’s go.

Raimaa would move her sword, as if to meet the swing head-on. Which was not a smart move given the strength behind it. Even if Raimaa was stronger, there was only so much you'd take with a one-handed grip...

That was, if you weren't fuckin' Raimaa. In a heartbeat, her stance and grip shifted from Formless Rogue to Issen, and her blade tilted, sliding the incoming strike down the blade, and burning off all it's strength with some exquisite swordsmanship and positioning. She wasn't just fighting, it seemed, the whole thing was elegant science to her. Every step, swing and shift was as perfectly executed as it could have been. No waste, no inefficiency, no lack that would overstrain in an extended fight.

And then, playing into Issen's counterattack style, she'd reach forward and boop Sora's nose, before sliding backwards and flourishing her sword.

Sora smiled as Raimaa blocked her blow, the force bleeding off of it with a simple deflection that utilized the precise posture and friction between their weapons to nullify her strike. It was a beautiful move, one that absolutely wasn’t part of the Formless Rogue style, but in the heat of the moment, she didn’t care about that. Because for all of Raimaa’s brilliance, she had made a crucial mistake. You’re not the only one who can switch it up!

The Kiri Jounin pressed forwards, releasing her right hand from her bokken as she shot a quick jab towards the taller woman’s chest, intentionally hooking her fingers down so as not to get too close to revealing the Futago’s… assets. Her smile was wider now, broad and almost playful as she gave Raimaa’s chest a quick squeeze, winking at her before she slid back, breathing slow and far calmer than before.
