Drawing in another breath, Kazui rolled her eyes as the unknown signature spoke of her moniker. Although proud to be recognized for her abilities, wasn’t much of a fan of the name herself. "Kai…” She watched as her eye’s caught on to the man’s lean figure, just from laying eyes on him alone knew that he was indeed a formidable opponent to many. "Get the nobleman out of here..Go!” She ordered the pair to move it. Focusing on the man closely, Kazui watched him form the seal to the shadow clone technique, it didn’t take much to figure why.

The girl figured that Kai wanted to stick around and help, but since there were now two of him she needed to make sure they completed the mission, and to make sure that her younger cousin makes it home safe. Forming a single handseal of her own, the girl created a clone of herself and without need for discussion the doppelgänger leapt into action. The opponent was fast but so was the ravenette. Springing herself between Kai, the nobleman, and the missing nin, the Kazui clone flashed through a string of handseals herself almost simultaneously as Fukumi’s clone formed his own.

He’s no slouch. She thought to herself as he knew that they were all drenched. Swinging her hands outward in a pushing motion, palms faced towards the man’s clone. "Uchihagaeshi!” The cloned ravenette voiced as she sent her fuuton chakra outward blowing a very powerful gust of wind capable of pushing back many attacks and people alike. In terms of the lightning, it would simply dissipate once it came into contact with the powerful winds, while the clone itself would be pushed back with great force. In addition, if Kai were still around he would be pushed further away from the clone as well. With that seemingly taken care of, she trusted Kai to get the nobleman away.

Her clone simply dissipated as her chakra returned back to her original self. "I’ll make it quick.” She voiced in her soft spoken tone, zipping through yet another set of handseals. Clenching her wrist with one hand as she fell into a lowered position, lightning quickly began to gather around her figure, zapping ferociously. "Chidori!” The scream of a thousand crows could be heard screeching by many in the area as she promptly dashed towards the man - a blue trail of light following her blurred figure. Murderous intent could be felt by Fukumi, it could also be seen in the girl’s eyes as within a flash she closed the distance between the two. With a thrust of her chakra-cloaked hand, Kazui aimed for Fukumi’s sternum, seeking to punch her entire arm through the man’s body.

Kazui creates a shadow clone of her own and steps between Fukumi and Kai. Clone uses wind to push lightning away as well as Fukumi. The clone promptly returns back to kazui and Kazui loads up the chidori and dashes towards Fukumi aiming for his chest.

DESCRIPTION:
The user will create a Kage Bunshin as typical of the parent technique, that is capable of using all of the user's jutsu at their disposal. However, the chakra used to create this doppelganger is not quite that of what usually goes into a clone. This particular copy is capable of two different ways it can be dispersed. One way is that of a usual dispersion, unfurling into a puff of smoke, while the other is a massive twenty meter explosion, capable of pulverizing iron and taking several shinobi's lives in the process. These clones are quite beneficial in use, as they can be detonated at will or when struck, but they come with a deadly flaw; the chakra that would usually return to the user is halved to power the explosion, meaning this jutsu is easily capable of severing one's stamina several leagues if the clones are allowed to detonate.

DESCRIPTION:
A simple Fuuton technique created by previous elders of the Uchiha clan, despite not many Uchiha being capable of utilizing the wind element. The basis of the technique is simple, after forming three handseals, the user will extend both of the arms outward and utilize their fuuton chakra to blow back any physical attacker, debris, or weaker ninjutsu (so long as it is not katon) equally strength jutsu will ultimately get cancelled out as well, and can even send heavy projectiles back towards the target, although S Rank equipment enhanced with chakra would be able to get through the high pressure. The pressure of the jutsu is enough to break small boulders into pieces, and the wind is blown in every direction, leaving no angle unaccounted for. In addition, this jutsu can be channeled into weapons such as shields and even swords, allowing the user to block an attack and use the high pressure fuuton to blow the attack back towards the target.

DESCRIPTION:
To perform, the user first gathers lightning to their hand; the high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. The user also can imbue their kunai, shuriken, or senbon with the Chidori, making them able to cut through multiple boulders without being impeded. The lightning chakra has been shown on occasions to damage the user's hand, peeling the skin and causing it to smoulder slightly, but this does not appear to actually be debilitating. Once the chakra is gathered, users charge at their target and thrust the Chidori into them, piercing them and typically causing fatal damage. Despite the sound it makes, the rapid speed at which it's used makes it useful for assassinations.

The speed at which the Chidori is performed, despite being one of its greatest assets, also represents one of its biggest drawbacks: users move at their target so fast that its causes a tunnel vision-like effect for them. Because they charge in a straight line it is easy for opponents to attack them, and because of the tunnel vision it is difficult for the user to see these attacks, much less react to them. For this reason, most ninja cannot use the Chidori safely. If the user has a Dojutsu, however, these drawbacks are overcome. The heightened visual perception prevents the tunnel vision from occurring and the predictive capabilities make it easy for the user to avoid counterattacks.

The chakra cost for Chidori is high enough that your standard Jonin without enhanced chakra reserves or enhanced chakra control will only be able to use it 4 times a day before chakra exhaustion sets in, but those with enhanced chakra or enhanced chakra control could easily perform it several more times per day.

This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

[Uchiha, Kai]

Things were moving remarkably fast, and truth be told, it was a bit higher impact then something Kai could reasonably deduce. That said, he wasn't completely unarmed- He still had his weapon, he still had the basis of his armor, and he had hardly expelled even a tiny amount of his chakra reserves. So when his superior told him to book it, well.

He wasn't going to argue with her. Especially when she'd just knocked him flat on his ass from the expulsion of air. He quickly got back up and took the client with him, somewhat hoping some of the other less chakra infused guards had made it out of the water by now. They could really use a distraction, and he wasn't against using some warm bodies for it.

Regardless, Kai swung his weapon over his shoulder and thoughtfully decided he'd need some sort of protection here, though what he wasn't sure. Looking over the client to make sure he was still, well, alive, he'd prepare the seals for a fireball jutsu. It was insurance- Incase someone decided to get to close to him, he had a few seconds while he was running to prepare the chakra for a nice flamethrower to the face.

It was really the best he could do right now, he was a bit out of his element in terms of combat here. Though it didn't take a genius to see that Kazui was expelling massive amounts of chakra from herself while they fought, and idly he wondered if she had the stores to keep up this intense level of pressure she was outputting for long.

In the span of an instant, the chasm shook. Raiton clashed with Fuuton over a veritable lake of water, the lightning ionizing what liquid it hit into steam, sending up a billowing cloud that obscured everyone’s vision- but Kazui would be able to sense that her jutsu had worked, protecting Kai and the client at the cost of a good chunk of her own chakra. Not all of it, not even close, but enough to let Fukumi know she wasn’t going to be throwing around jutsu like that all fight. Her attacks, when they came, would be far more controlled and precise- just like his own. Interesting.

As for Goro and Kai, the pair of them were blasted back several meters by Kazui jutsu, with the older nobleman in particular ragdolling in an almost comical fashion as he struggled to stay afloat- only to be hauled out of the water by Kai, slung over his shoulder and carried, like a child, away from the fight. A part of him wanted to protest, to demand he be released from the indignity, but it was a distant part, one outweighed by his own sense of self-preservation and the gnawing fear of imminent death that had begun to settle in his gut.

The Nuke-nin’s clone, launched back by Kazui’s blast, didn’t hesitate in his duties, forming five hand seals as Kai and his target ran. He could have given chase, could have caught up easily, but the real him would need every ounce of chakra he could get to handle the foe he was facing- so he did the next best thing, summoning one of his spiders, which he directed towards the target and his bodyguard with a wave before dispersing, returning his chakra back to the real Fukumi as the spider, a massive thing near seven feet tall, scuttled away after Kai.

While this happened, Fukumi moved, hands blurring as he turned to face the Uchiha woman as fast as she could have, kneading Katon chakra in his gut as he looked, not at her eyes, but at her feet, expelling the chakra as she neared him to form a semi-circular wall of intensely hot flames that would both cut off her line of sight and, should she choose to continue her attack, burn her severely for the effort. He didn’t stick around to find out if the defense worked though, instead leaping away, further into the forest, his clone’s chakra and memories returning. Time to lure the big one away.

And, amidst all this chaos, a lone figure with a shock of white hair emerged from the water, gasping for breath, his eyes wide with fear as he stared at the dozens of others who were slowly trying to do the same, each weighed down by their armor, barely able to swim. If the Shionbi were expecting any help from the civilian guards, they were shit out luck- they would have to do this on their own.

Kazui's block succeeds, saving Kai and Goro from dying by electrocution! Fukumi's clone is knocked away, and summons a spider (shown below) to chase after Kai before dispersing! The real Fukumi summons a wall of fire to block Kazui's Chidori before leaping away into the forest, though she can charge through it! And finally, our friendly wagon driver lives, but the soldier's armor is weighing them down, making it hard for them to surface!

DESCRIPTION: One of the most common and beneficial techniques in the known shinobi world. Simply drawing blood and releasing a mass of chakra from one's extended hand is capable of calling an animal or otherwise to one's location. As a Space-Time Ninjutsu, this technique is capable of instantly displacing an intended summon from wherever they may be to the requested location, though there are obstacles that can prevent this. To use this jutsu, one must first make a contract with whatever they are summoning, living creature or not. Both the size and the stamina of what a shinobi calls upon increases the demand of chakra they must spend to perform the jutsu.

DESCRIPTION: Similar to the Suiton: Suijinheki, the user expels a powerful jet of high-pressure flames, creating a semi-circular wall in front of them that is used to deflect attacks. This is particularly useful against Fuuton-based techniques and for deterring close-combat fighters. A large amount of smoke can erupt from this wall of flames in order to conceal one's escape and the fire easily sets alight anything it touches.

Despite the fact that lightning propelled the girl forward with great speeds, which would have caused tunnel vision for most, Kazui simply slowed up on the dash as her sharingan continued to read and analyze Fukumi’s every action. Katon. She thought to herself. Pulling back completely the girl would stop just a half meter away from the flames as they swept across the area creating a wall of fire. However despite the fact that she stopped her charge didn’t mean that she’d simply let the man get away. utilizing the chakra from her original chidori as well as her superb chakra control, the lightning at which wrapped around her fist quickly took the shape of a spear and shot outward past the flames with ferocity. And with a swing of her arm the lightning rod shredded through tree after tree, causing them to fall over.

The ravenette took a moment to assess the situation before taking the next course of action. Hues of crimson scoured the area closely looking for any sign of Fukumi still being around, but it was clear that he was on the move. With the nukenin being within Kazui’s sensory range - she was still capable of keeping track of his movements. For now however, the girl needed to take a step back. The sound of people splashing around in the chasm caught the teen’s attention, her gaze quickly darted over to them and her body quickly followed.

Jumping into the flooded valley, Kazui promptly helped the crew out of the water as she didn’t want to leave them out to die. Albeit, she was not happy. The ravenette wouldn’t stick around for any thanks, with a single handseal, a murder of crows began to circle around the girl’s figure and within the next instance she was gone. Hot on the pursuit of Fukumi. Deeper into the forest the crows would collect and gather again, forming the girl’s figure as she continued to dash from tree to tree.

Surely Kai can get the client to the village before that giant spider gets to them. She thought to herself as she continued to give chase after Fukumi. Or worse..

Kazui uses her chakra control to form the lightning into the shape of a spear. Darting the pointed end of the lightning towards Fukumi through the flames as she managed to stop just before the wall. In a sweeping motions she used the lightning blade to cut through the trees in the area. Unfortunately she couldn’t let the crew perish, so she helps them out of the water before flickering off along with her crows.

DESCRIPTION:
Through the use of shape transformation, users of Chidori Eisō can form the chakra they gathered for the Chidori into a spear or a blade with tremendous speed, which can be extended to a maximum range of 6 meters at a speed that makes it very difficult to avoid. With this range, the Chidori becomes far less dangerous to its performer, and can be used for surprise attacks or to capture enemies. Chidori Eisō really shines, however, when an enemy’s body is pierced, and the user is able to shape it into multiple other blades that create additional wounds, increasing the lethality of the wound drastically. When a blade is created, it can be swung to cut things and cause lethal energy, with experts in kenjutsu able to use it to replace their sword. The beam of energy is nothing to mess with as it can easily level rock and metal alike. Cutting through weaponry up to chakra infused A-Rank and can even slowly dull S-Ranks through blocking and parrying the beam.

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

He heard the rumble before he felt it. Something massive was bearing down on him, and it didn't take a genius to figure out what it was, as a giant spider was quickly closing the distance between them. Kai slung around, the last seal still held, as he took a deep breath, and...

'Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu'

Expert chakra control made sure that every bit of energy used for this attack was not wasted. He had good time to prepare it, he had a good target, and he had a stable position.

The flames of the fireball roared out like an inferno, darting towards the spider like a crashing wave. If it hit, it was going to be painful. If it didn't, it was going to cook a lot of trees. But in truth, the Katon technique was simply a hold over. As expensive as it was, he'd need to prepare himself for a serious fight, as he weaved a quick set of seals and popped into three separate people before the fireball had time to finish firing.

Two clones pulled out their glaives, holding them up, while the final, the real Kai, grabbed the man and continued running. The clones would act as interception, in a manner of speaking, and while perhaps the Jounin would know real from fake, Kai somewhat hoped the spider would have more difficulty figuring enemy from copy- Assuming it even survived the Fireball in the first place.

Regardless, there wasn't a whole lot of time to think about his actions, because he was back on the run, booking it for the village as fast as his legs could take him.

Kazui, to her credit, did not charge through the flames to get at her target, instead choosing to stop herself on a dime half a meter from the burning wall, her Chidori extending into a long spear that she cut through the fire, felling several trees in the process. Unfortunately for her, the smoke from her opponent’s jutsu would obscure her vision of him and, while her sensory abilities would allow her to track his movements, they wouldn’t be of much use in hitting the man, as his speed and reactions were enough to avoid both the surprise spear and the falling trees, particularly given his own Mind’s Eye was open as well.

Hmm. Showing compassion for the civilians. Fukumi thought as he blurred through the trees, his senses noticing how Kazui had stopped to help one of the drowning men. There was a weakness there- one he intended to exploit. Forming a single hand seal as he turned to face the oncoming Uchiha, the black-haired man created a single Shadow Clone, flashing it a single look before it ran towards the raven-haired Uchiha, Katon chakra pulsing through its tenketsu, flames forming along its body as it neared the girl… and when they were within six meters of each other, it exploded in a blast of flames that engulfed everything in a fifteen meter radius, strong enough to leave second degree burns on anything living. Ryū no Ikari.

The real Fukumi waited a moment white his charged Kazui, forming a single seal as his chakra pulsed through his system and he exploded into motion, using the Shunshin to blur through the forest and appear on the other side of the chasm he had made, grinning as he began to form seals for another jutsu. He was certain the girl would survive his clone’s attack and, feeling his malicious intent towards the men below, come running to save them- which would spell her doom the moment she got within range. And if she didn’t? Well… what were a few more dead plebeians? "Katon: Karyuu Endan!”

As for Kai and Goro, the Genin’s Fireball would, unfortunately, not work exactly as he hoped, for while the spider certainly feared the flames, its sheer speed and the environment it had been summoned in meant that it was able to easily evade the blast. Leaping from tree to tree in a burst of raw speed, the arachnid closed its eyes to the bright light, utilizing its olfactory senses to track the young Uchiha and his older target, utterly ignoring the clones as it chased the pair- and gained on them, in part due to Kai being slowed by his armor and the fully grown man he was carrying.

"Give the fool to me boy.” The spider hissed as it closed in, its voice cracked with clicks and alien sounds, as if it wasn’t used to speaking in a human tongue at all. "His death must be… but yours is not set in the web of fate.” If Kai were to look back, he would be able to tell the spider was gaining, though not yet within striking distance- though it was closing fast. He would have to do something, and quick. But what?

Once her flicker had officially ended, Kazui didn’t hesitate to continue moving forward. She was aware that she had to think things through, she figured the man wanted her separated from the target and her cousin, which was smart. However, she was well aware of this as it was a basic tactic. Not long after, the ravenette had gotten the man in her sights. As he was forming the handseals, Kazui watched closely with her sharingan - immediately recognizing the jutsu being casted before it was thoroughly completed, as she was beyond familiar with the handseals coupled with the fact that Fukumi utilized katon chakra specifically to create the clone of himself.

So the teen would be proactive. Soaked hands dug into the equally soaked pouch that rested on the small of her back, and from it she retrieved the one and only kunai she had remaining, holding it between her index and middle fingers. With it in her grasp, Kazui slung the blade with ferocity, aiming directly where said clone would take its first step, hoping to pierce through, and detonating the clone closer to Fukumi than herself. (If this didn’t work however, she’d definitely know to keep her distance, even going as far as leaping from the treetops and crashing to the floor below as the explosion went off)

However, this wasn’t the full extent of her counter. As her hand swung out to throw the kunai, simultaneously the ravenette laced the swinging motion of her arm with yin chakra, casting a genjutsu that if seen by anyone would render them under her spell. From the swing of her arm an army of crows shot forward, rushing towards Fukumi, apparently ripping and tearing away at his flesh. A very very painful fate to suffer, illusion or not, and Kazui’s illusions had a way of making it feel oh so much worse than others. The girl wouldn’t allow for Fukumi to backtrack to the civilians, but if he still managed to do so then that would be the end of their clash as Kazui herself was more concerned with her cousin at this point as she could sense him hauling it towards the village.

[Uchiha, Kai]

While Kazui dealt with the real threat, Kai was left with the opponent who had rapidly closed in on them. He was hastily aware that his clones had done nothing, which played very valuably into his cards- Information gathering was important at this step, especially when an opponent could move so fast.

Kai, of course, couldn't be in two places at once- He couldn't continue to run while the Spider was after him- He had no idea how much further they had to go before they got to safety, which took 'flight' out of the equation. Now, they were locked to 'fight', instead. Swinging around, he kept the man behind him close, as he held his glaive tight in both hands, staring up at his opponent with those deadly red eyes.

"Stand still." His words were simple and calm, though one could only wonder if they were towards the man behind him, or a taunt towards the spider in front of him. He held no fear- Though many faced arachnophobia, Kai had experienced hells far worse then this demonic creature. That mask flashed again in his mind- Then the bodies of his comrades. Not again. Not this time.

Suddenly, his grip loosened, and his weapon lit itself ablaze as chakra flowed through it. It was his first time using this technique in real, deadly combat. It was the first time in a while he could truly release his inner flame.

Kai was not a subtle fighter, that was for sure- And his attacks were not the kind that left a lot of small cuts and bruises. Rather, he was a lethal weapon, a machine that killed things in its way with very little hesitation.

He knew defense against an opponent that could attack from multiple angles would be nigh impossible- So he elected for a gentle offense that kept him within hands reach of the client at all times, as he began to spin his weapon around in a defensive fashion.

Indeed, with the distance between himself and his opponent, this seemed rather, well, defensive- A weapon stance with few openings, that used wide open swings to constantly cover ones weak points- At least the ones he could visualize.

But there was a far more sinister plot enacted, one that would likely cost him a good deal of chakra, as the armored Genin raised his foot...

And slammed it into the ground. Flames would suddenly sear from the ground, creating a roar of fire that covered the movements of his lower body as he twisted around and came about what 'appeared' to be a normal, defensive swing, just as the last. Was he posturing?

It was only when the defensive swing was halfway through though, did the true nature of his weapon come out. A wide angle swing, it's properties only activated when it was halfway through- As the flames that burned around his weapon suddenly extended a full fourteen feet towards the spider. The aim was simple- To attempt to trick the many eyed creature into assuming he was going for a defensive stance, and respond with a hidden power stored within his glaive- The ability to extend it greatly in length.

If it hit, it would hit with the strength and weight of the full 8 and a half foot metal glaive smashing into an opponent, with the only difference being a burning hammer like effect instead of a bladed one- A bone crushing blow that, even if dodged, still had the potential to light hairs and grass ablaze, as well as the nearby leaves of trees.

This destructive fire style, even if it didn't hit its target, created an effect that he looked forward to- The burning of the surrounding area, the destruction of the ground and grass- Even in the event that his opponent dodged, the forest around them was now quickly lighting on fire, surrounding them in a dangerous inferno.

All of this was not without cost, however- It was taxing on his chakra to pull off these strikes, and as he swept back into his defensive position, whether or not his attack had hit- He had to be mindful of what he had remaining, as he could only pull these tricks off so many times before he tired himself out. He just hoped it was enough.

Fukumi was starting to get annoyed.

He felt, rather than saw, his clone disperse from Kazui’s kunai before it could get its jutsu off, his lips pursing in a thin frown as the memories filled his head- only for him to blink, his vision filling with crows as he ran through the treetops, their beaks tearing at his flesh. A part of him, the rational, calm part, knew this was a genjutsu- his Mind’s Eye could tell it was a genjutsu, even with the intense skill put behind it. The rest of him, however…

Instinct made the man bat at the birds, the pain filling his head with panic as he crashed down through the trees, breaking branches and causing a large ruckus, his original plan shot to all hell. The man slammed into the dirt, rolling with the impact as he forced himself to ignore the crows gnawing at his flesh and form a single hand seal, pulsing chakra through his Mind’s Eye before slamming it into the Uchiha’s chakra and forcing it out in a burst of energy she would definitely feel.

As this happened, the spider attacking Kai would draw close, its eyes opened once more as the boy ignored its offer in favor of dropping its target and whirling on him, his glaive igniting in hated flames that forced the spider to leap up just as it drew near… and it was then, as it rose over the young Uchiha’s first move, that the spider realized its mistake, seeing the burning blade of the glaive swinging across its vision. With its body mid-flight, the arachnid had no way to dodge or block, and let loose a deep, feral scream of pain as the fire bit into its side, dispersing into smoke before the blade could cut too deep and kill it.

With the spider gone and Fukumi currently rattled on the ground, the Uchiha twins seemed rather in the clear now… though the Nuke-nin was far from depleted, and would soon be up again, so there was still that to deal with. And given that they had a good ten hours of running ahead of them to get to Konoha, it was likely they’d run into him again. Soon.

There was one thing about Kazui, her genjutsu to be specific. The girl had spent endless nights working on this particular craft to the point where she began to lose sleep. From the moment the art was introduced to her further by one of the previous sage apprentices, the ravenette had become more and more intrigued, studying and perfecting it every chance that she got. At this point her genjutsu ability was on a level completely on its own, quite literally. As the crows flocked and attacked, there would be no sign that a genjutsu was taking place even despite his sharp sensory, not even other sharingan users could tell if they were trapped. Her abilities were well known as her name was common, so it should’ve occurred to Fukumi that walking into this fight alone (or without proper preparation) and continuing to pursue conflict with her despite knowing who she was, wasn’t the smartest of choices. In fact, it proved to be dire for most.

The crows continued to rip and tear away at flesh, becoming a great nuisance to the man and definitely creating a barrier between his vision and Kazui herself. She was pleased with the outcome of the clone being dispersed prematurely, as he would’ve been able to free himself from the outside looking in, but from the inside - he was forced to endure. But he wouldn’t have to do so for much longer.

With every passing breath, the teens chest and shoulders would rise before sinking with every exhale. Watching only for a split second, Kazui continued with her assault on the missing ninja. Quickly digging through her pouch, the ravenette armed herself with the last shuriken in her possession, pouring a bit of chakra into it as she did so. With no hesitation, the girl flung the star with precision, the sound of the blade cutting through the wind was like music to her ears. But with a simple clap of her hands, the whistling of the star quickly turned into a womping industrial fan sound as the shuriken instantly grew to the size of a fuma shuriken, capable of severing the man in half with ease. The blade barrelled down on him with conviction, and Kazui hung around to watch, making sure that it finished the job.

The way that she threw the star however was fairly complex. If Fukumi managed to somehow get out of harm's way, the shuriken would quickly alter its trajectory as the giant star would begin boomeranging back towards Kazui for round two, in which she’d place her hand in the empty portion of the shuriken, catching it by the blunt ring.

Only then would she proceed towards Kai and the nobleman.

- Unfortunately KME wouldn’t work in Kazui’s situation, please refer to her True Illusionist SA. Fighting her alone and unprepared would be a death sentence, more often than not. While still under the effects, Kazui took the opportunity to wrap thing up, slinging a shuriken at him that quickly turned into a fuma shuriken. The fuma shuriken would boomerang back towards her.

Should it miss, the chakra bursts out from it to change it's course, and make it fly back to its owner, like a boomerang. Normally, the throw is made in a way so that the returning weapon flies above the user, to avoid the danger of being cut by own weapon, while still capable of catching it.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

Kai, meanwhile, had just finished his assault. As the flames broke apart around them, branches falling from the trees, he turned back towards the client, taking him by the arm and pulling him close.

"Sir. Stay close to me- We're going to get you out of here." Who was we? It was pretty much just him at this point- He couldn't exactly see Kazui from here so just had to assume she had things handled. If not, and she was gone... A painful sting in his head as he turned away. He didn't want to think about that.

Truthfully though, it did eat away at his spirit a bit. He had already left his team behind once, in a manner of speaking- Could he really do so again? Some, perhaps, would bravely turn back and run towards their friend, assuming them to be in imminent danger and needing help, regardless of their actual status.

But Kai knew, in the end, the Mission was priority, and Kazui would understand if he ran instead of staying behind to try and fight someone who completely outclassed him in every way. Hell, he barely got past the Ninja's pet poodle. Oh well. She was a jounin, she probably didn't need him anyways.

They didn’t go away. Despite his best effort, Fukumi felt the crows tearing away at his flesh still, his arms flailing at them wildly as he tried to regain his balance, failing. He didn’t understand why his Kai had failed- his senses told him the illusion was real, even his Mind’s Eye, but heknew it wasn’t. He was up against Kazui of the Sharingan, a Genjutsu prodigy- it had to be a Genjutsu. Right? The man was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn’t have time to react to the blurring mass of metal and wind that was barrelling towards him… until it was far, far too late.

Kazui’s transformation enhanced shuriken slammed into Fukumi’s chest the exact moment he realized it was following him, the massive length of steel, aided by Fuuton chakra, slicing through his left arm and burying itself deep within his chest, stopping a hair short of his heart but doing a solid job of puncturing the left lung and severing every major blood vessel and artery on that side of his body. The pain was immense, enough to break him fully out of Kazui’s Genjutsu… but, unfortunately, it was also far more than he could bear, his heart pumping blood from every severed vein faster and faster until, with a rattling gasp, he died.

The Uchiha, it seemed, had proven victorious.

As for Kai and Goro, the older man seemed rather taken aback by the violence that had just occurred around him, his face ashen and pale as he stared back into the forest, barely paying attention to what the young man was saying. It wasn’t until the young Uchiha had finished speaking that the nobleman even realized what had been said- and frowned, a trace of his old arrogance returning as he said, softly but firmly, "Young man… I thank you for saving my life, but I will not abandon my men and servants to die so easily. Take me back to them. Now.”

Of course, Kai could choose to ignore that order and drag the older man off anyway… or he could obey, and perhaps find a chance to meet back up with his cousin. The choice was, in truth, entirely up to him.

Part of Kazui couldn’t bear the scene that played out before her, she wasn’t a natural born killer, even to this day seeing the life of another human being cut so short brought a world of emotions to the forefront of her heart - emotions that she herself wasn’t sure what to make of. Regardless, the girl slowly made her way over to the corpse, blood at her feet as she looked over the body of the nukenin. It was a shame, he was a handsome man, he could have easily made a name for himself outside of his criminal work.

A strong gust of wind blew over the immediate area causing the trees and shrubble to sway in dance, to Kazui however the wind just so happened to remind her of the crew of guards. Looking over her shoulders, Kazui weighed on if she should turn back or continue to trail her cousin. She sighed heavily, and with a soft bat of her eye, the ravenette decided that she would head back for the others, but first..

Feeling around in the pouch that she wore on her back, Kazui was shocked to find that she managed to retain the cloak which had been given to her as an academy student. She’d unroll it completely and place it beside Fukumi where the least amount of blood could be soaked into it, and simply pushed Fukumi over with her foot until he laid across the sheet. With force she’d remove her now fuma-shuriken from his chest - tossing it off to the side. Sigh. Sitting with her legs crossed, Kazui grabbed a seat hovering over the deceased man’s shoulders and with a few handseals Fukumi’s body would be sealed within the sheet-like cloak. As a former ANBU Operative the ravenette seemed to be stuck in her old ways, regardless it was always best to take a closer look at missing-nin. She also wished to give him a proper burial.

With that taken care of, Kazui rolled the sheet up and placed it back into her pouch, and only then would she turn back for the others. "Come.” She voiced blandly, a trail of bloody footprints followed with every step she took. Together the group began their slow trot towards the village, hopefully with Kai being there waiting for their arrival.

Kazui remained silent for most of the walk, but would still engage with conversation here and there with the driver of the caravan, much like before.

Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

[Uchiha, Kai]

Kai listened to the mans heartfelt talk of his men, and the absolute demand to be brought back to them. In truth, Kai was a no-nonsense shinobi, and in these moments of intense emotion, when lives were on the line, he had to put his foot down.

Stabbing his blade into the ground, arcs of flame would circle around the both of them. They were relatively harmless in truth- It was a display of force caused by the weapon rather than anything else- But they were a way of speaking without words- A way of saying, although Kai would never truly say it himself- That the situation had changed, and this man was no longer in control. Kai was.

"Sir." He stepped up to the man, those red eyes steeled as ever, staring him in the face as he spoke with a sickening calm.

"The mission is to bring you, alive, to the village." For the first time since they had opened up along this path, he decided to be a bit more verbose. Perhaps his lack of words was not getting through to him.

"My cousin will take care of your men, if she can. If not- Then they are already dead, and going back will just add your list to that pile, along with hers." He didn't touch the client, they weren't directly in any danger right now and in truth that really wasn't what he was going for here- But he still spoke with a dreaded calm as he stepped past him.

"Lets go. If you die here, then your men's sacrifices mean nothing." It was a cold truth, but in the Shinobi world, one often had to look beyond emotions to see the true picture. Sure, they could go back and try and save some drowning men. But what if the missing-nin was there? What if, more, missing-nin were there? What if Kazui had failed? Then they'd all die. And it'd have been pointless. No, in truth, they had a good distance on their opponents, and as he extended a hand to carry him if he needed, he would not be going back to fail the mission like this.

He cared about his teammate too much to simply let their orders be ignored, as much as it pained him deep within his heart. The truth of being a Ninja... Was not always doing what your heart said was the right thing. He clasped his hands together a few times regardless, before letting out a jet of flame in the shape of the Uchiha clan symbol, burned onto one of the obvious trees on the side of the road.

A message to Kazui, should she begin to follow his path, that he had made it just fine, as he continued on, preferably with the client in tow.

Goro’s gaze flickered to the flames that Kai had summoned, his resolve wavering at the sight as he stepped back... But then the man stopped, taking a deep breath before he looked the young Uchiha in the eyes, his voice losing its firmness but growing in depth and heat as he spoke again, this time letting the worry and fear, nigh unto panic, seep through. "This is not up for debate. I cannot go to Konoha until I know if they are alright, if he-”

The older noble froze, his mouth hanging open slightly for a moment before he snapped it shut, face growing flush as he turned his head away, clearly upset. What about, and what might be done to resolve the issue, though, would be up to Kai… if he didn’t just knock the man out and carry him to the village, that is.

As for Kazui, her sealing of Fukumi’s body would happen in relative silence, with only the sounds of the forest accompanying her. When she made it back to the water-filled chasm where the men were, she would note that none of them were seriously injured, though everyone was wet, and most of the guards seemed rattled by the experience. Only Tsuki, the driver from earlier, seemed particularly pleased to see Kazui return, though no one was openly hostile to her any more- and, with her senses active, she would be able to tell a fair few were grateful for her assistance but too worried about appearances and the possibility of another attack to say it out loud.

She would, however, notice an oddity amongst the guards, one she would not have noticed before- they were, to a man, standing or sitting in a small circle surrounding one of their own, a young man with shocking white hair and strong features.

"Mighty fine of you to come back for us, miss.” Tsuki said as the Uchiha approached, his smile bright despite his soaked clothes and bedraggled hair. Some people, it seemed, could stay cheery through anything. "You get ‘im?”
