Seika stared out at the small, forested island from atop the main deck of The Iron Moon, her amber-gold gaze cold despite the warmth that still clung to the air; it was a humid day already, and would likely only get hotter, though the constant breeze blowing in from the southern ocean helped somewhat. The sun stood low in the sky, barely peeking its first rays over the horizon, though for the Nakajima the small amount of light it provided was enough for her to make out her destination. It had been a hard two weeks at sea, but the lookout had spotted the island the morning before, lifting her crew’s beleaguered spirits.

"First-mate!” The raven-haired woman barked, not looking away from the island as the order was passed down the ship, eventually reaching the ears of her second in command, who all but ran to meet her. She still hadn’t bothered to learn the man’s name, referring to him aloud only by his title, though in her head she had already named him Cynic. A thin, pale wisp of a man, Cynic was the most intelligent of her the ragged, half-educated bunch (though he had apparently never learned to read), which made him the ideal, and only, candidate for first-mate.

"Yes Captain?” The man said when he arrived, breathless, huffing from the run but bowing despite his own, obvious reluctance. He wasn’t one of her true believers -there was only a handful of those amongst the crew- but he had sworn the oaths, made the pledges, taken the tattoo, and followed all the rituals she had described to the letter. He was, quite frankly, as trustworthy as anyone she had- which wasn’t saying much, but it would have to do.

"Bring the ship closer to land. There should be an inlet on the south-eastern side of the island, if our newest recruit’s information is correct.” Her words came out soft, but the pale man flinched at them as if struck, clearly wanting to speak- though, wisely, he held his tongue, nodding once to carry out her orders. They had come here on the half-remembered childhood of a fisherman turned pirate to try a mad, impossible gamble that, if it worked, would give her and Nisshoku a solid base with which to build off of… and show her clan that they had been fools to follow that lying bitch Emiri.

All she had to do now was prove it.

Seika, either through a twist of fate or simply good genetics, has inherited the coveted power of the White Flame, the highest ranked color of Flame within the Nakajima clan, and it shows. Fire is not merely a part of her- she is fire, a living embodiment of all it means to be flame, and as such her ability with her clan’s Hijutsu is second to none; she can switch between her flame body and real one with near instantaneous ease (though this does not low the chakra cost), and can stay in it for quite awhile. While in her flame body, she is completely impervious to all forms of physical damage, though Chakra enhanced attacks (particularly Fuuton based) can still injure her. In this state, she is able to heal herself using any natural fire nearby, absorbing it into her flame body.

Yuki’s Fire-Flower [Enhanced Katon Ninjutsu SA - Power]
From nearly the moment she could walk, Seika has had an affinity with Katon that far surpasses the norm, even for a Nakajima. Her Katon Ninjutsu, and in particular her Nakajima Hijutsu, burn hotter than even the most powerful of her clan, granting her Katon-based Ninjutsu a significant boost in raw power over others of her rank, so much so that she is nearly on another level of power. Additionally, Seika can switch between the four different flames of her Clan’s Hijutsu almost at will, but rarely does so, preferring to use her White Flames almost exclusively. Katon Ninjutsu (including Nakajima Hijutsu) used by Seika are roughly 25% more powerful than normal, and cost 10% more to use.

The Burning Death [Enhanced Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
As one of only two people in all the world to possess the White Flame of the Nakajima, Seika’s flames are… unique, to say the least. Though others of her clan do not believe it, the truth of the matter is that Seika’s flames are not merely hot, they are beyond anything her clan has ever seen, capable of burning even setting other chakra-based creations aflame, up to and including other Katon Ninjutsu, eventually subsuming them into itself. This does not allow Seika to absorb any form of chakra, nor does it allow her to work around using only normal fire to heal her body when in her Flame Body form- rather, it allows her to burn Ninjutsu as if it were a physical thing, eating away at it until it becomes nothing but ash. This takes two rotations per rank of the Jutsu, and requires that said jutsu be continuously engulfed in her flames.

Because of her familiarity with life and death situations, Seika has made it a point to train herself in the art of moving quickly, and is quite a bit faster than many would expect of such a non-physical Shinobi, outspeeding others of her rank by a fair bit without even trying.

Seika has spent the vast majority of her life fighting -first as a Shinobi of Yukigakure, then as a Nuke-nin from said village- and as such has been forced into situations where her ability to react to an opponent’s move is the difference between life and death, now more so than ever. Because of this, Seika has developed an incredible reaction time, far faster than that of others of her rank, and is capable of thinking through problems at a much faster rate, allowing her to deal with multiple opponents on the fly without breaking a sweat.

Sea of Chakra Flames [Enhanced Chakra Reserves SA]
Seika’s Chakra reserves are vast for a woman of her rank, far beyond those of a normal Kunoichi, and as such she is able to use high-level techniques for far longer, and at a much quicker rate, than most anyone of her rank could.

A sleek red silk dress made for Seika before she deserted from Yukigakure, the dress itself is stunning, sporting long-sleeves that hang loosely from her shoulders. Made of Waruichi silk, the dress has been enhanced by the Nakajima clan’s tailors and even has seals put in place by Seika herself, making it a very useful tool for carrying goods even when she doesn’t wear her cloak.

The dress itself has a short hem that stops just above the middle of her thighs, with a long train of narrow cloth on the left side that leaves most of her legs exposed. The dress is tight around her bust and hangs off her shoulders, showing off much of her cleavage. The edges are decorated by golden filigree work, particularly around the bodice, it is hemmed by black lacework, and sports a hidden pouch inside the bodice.

Owari Nenshou [Katon Reactive]
Seika’s dress, having been made by the Nakajima, is fully Katon-reactive and allows her to funnel Katon Ninjutsu through it without burning it to ashes. More specifically, Seika has practiced with it to such a degree that she can utilize Haini: Hidama (Cremation: Falling Star) without being in her Flame body.

Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal [Chakra Reactive]
After her desertion for Yukigakure, Seika altered her dress in order to better utilize it in combat, inking in permanent seals along the inside of the left and right sleeves. These seals can hold a surprising amount, and are easily accessible for most any situation.

Seika's Cloak
A hooded cloak of black silk that reaches down to the feet, obscuring the user's form. The cloak itself seems fairly ordinary, but actually has two pockets sewn into the inside, both of which hold permanent versions of the Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal, allowing her to carry much more than normal.

Cloak of Invisibility (Chakra Reactive)
Made of a special chakra reactive silk, Seika’s cloak offers a unique ability that few Shinobi see coming; by channeling her raw, unfiltered Chakra through the cloak, Seika is able to utilize the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique] through the cloth, as well as allowing her maintain it with greater ease during movement. This ensures that Seika will always be able to vanish should the need arise.

Limitless Pockets
Seika’s Cloak, much like her dress, has been altered during her time as a Missing-nin to include the Generic Storage Seal inside its pockets, allowing her to carry a great deal more in the way of ninja tools without having to ruin her look with bulky pouches or garish belts.

Seika's Heels
A pair of black, seemingly normal heels. These shoes, however, are actually made of a special material created by the Nakajima that allows the user to make them a part of the Flame-body without destroying them. They add 3” to Seika’s height.

Seika’s heels are made of special material developed by the Nakajima clan for use in clan uniforms; as such, they are capable of being transformed into part of her flame body as if they were an actual, physical part of her, and can be used to form Nakajima clan techniques. More specifically, these heels allow Seika to perform the Baku Sanpo [Explosive Step] technique through them without being in her flame body.

[Mibōjin Kiho 昆™]

The responsibilities of leading a mission never got old to Kiho. Even now at times it was hard to imagine that she'd ever reach this level so comfortably, especially with how immature she used to be. She never let that aspect of her personality get in the way of the actual mission, but it didn't stop her from talking like it would with whomever she traveled along with. Nonetheless, this mission was a special kind.

She hadn't been on a recon mission since she was in ANBU. The mission was labeled as a B rank, but there was never any guaranteed that it might stay that way. An unknown ship was sailing the waters of Kaminari no Kuni and she and Shosuke were tasked were finding out why. The pairing wasn't completely ideal, but given the nature of her strengths and the nature of his own they actually made the perfect team. The way Kiho saw it, neither one of them could get in the way of what the other did best.

Plus, she got to see them in action first hand on an emergency assignment not long ago, and Shosuke handled themselves quite well. Traveling would be quite odd given how she moved these days, but she'd already thought of a way to use it to their benefit as a team. However, to start the mission she would move on foot along side the medic. For now it was best she stayed as close as possible in the event they ran into some stupid ambush on the way there.

"Well, first and foremost, I here you were just promoted not too long ago so congratulations."

Kiho stated politely as her white cloak blew in the wind behind her as they moved through Kaminari. "Alright, so this mission is pretty straight forward. Our job is just to get whatever intel we can gather on this ship, 'safely,' and then head back to the village. You're a smart guy so I know you'll handle that aspect very well, but I do say that to note what our roles will be." Kiho added as she placed her thoughts together internally.

"I will be the tank, and you'll maintain your distance from whatever danger 'might' come. If you possess any skills that make you a formidable target to reach from a distance? That would be nice to hear about, but from what I can control? No one is going to get near you, or lay a finger on you."

To expect that from someone you didn't really know was quite the bold claim, especially from a Shinobi her rank, but her overall prowess was definitely beyond most Shinobi. "I know that may be a hard ask, but if you trust me I promise that any potential risk will be much easier to deal with if you lean on my abilities."

[Yamamoto Shosuke]

The mission was simple - An unknown ship was sailing the waters of the Land of Lightning and they were to investigate. Technically speaking this was a recon mission and not an offensive mission, but it was pretty clear that if even the slightest thing went wrong they would be deployed to ensure the protection of the village and its assets. 

Still, there was a certain irony in the selection of the mission's participants. Mibojin was a jinchuuriki and Shosuke was a potential head of one of the village's major clans. Either one would be ideal kidnap and ransom material, and they were sending them out as first responders? A less loyal village member might question the logic in that. 

Beyond their respective 'importance', however, there was also a certain irony in the relationship between the two; Technically speaking, he was her subordinate and she was his superior officer. On a more personal level, it would be more accurate to say that he was following in the path that she had already walked. She was ex-ANBU, he was being scouted for an ANBU auxiliary branch. She was a seasoned commander, and he was coming into his role as a true Shinobi. Minus the Jinchuuriki, it was almost like she was just an older version of him. 

Dressed in the combat duds of the Shinobi Corps, Shosuke was lagging only slightly behind the Special Jounin, keeping quiet for the most part and listening to her talk. Shosuke was pressingly aware that this was not actually the first time that they had worked together - they had both been part of the rescue effort of that village that collapsed during those earthquakes last year. He knew she was a competent and caring person, and so was more than willing to defer to her command as a good subordinate should. 

Well, he would be deferring to her, but it seemed she was currently simply complimenting him for his recent promotion.  "Thank you, Ma'am. I look forward to earning my stripes on this mission." 

It was one thing to be enlisted in the corps and to do missions on his own or with his peers, but this felt different. More official, perhaps only because this was the first time he'd been subordinated directly under a higher-ranking officer. Even during his time on Genin Team 1, Eri had never seemed particularly interested in giving them anything to do, leaving him to do most of his work on his own or with others in the main pool of recruits. 

"To answer your question - I've got plenty of stuff that I can do at long range. Assault, defense, information gathering, all of it is better at range." He said, his tone quiet but confident. Though, a second later, he popped the question "I should note, ma'am, that I also specialize in subduction and target incapacitation. If we end up with restrained members of this ship's crew, what's our remit? Until we have proof that their intent is malicious, are we solely non-lethal or have we been given authorization?" 

Despite how concerned she seemed to be about having to 'earn' his respect, there was something transparently obvious in the way that he spoke - She already had it. She was favoured by Lady Kizumi, and anyone she had faith in he did also. If she said to jump, he'd say how high.

The seas were calm for the pirtes as they made their way along the shore,the winds were gentle and the breeze easy. However the process of making headway onto the land certainly wasn't. As the pirate and her ship came ashore eyes from out within the distance kept a watch on the Nakajima and her men.

"Well wouldja get a look at that lads..." a man with a silverly prosthetic eye would remark as looked to his ragtag crew that happened to be in his vicinity. "C'mon lot, up with ya Saru, Samika c'mon." the two pirates a man and a woman respectively seemed preoccupied with a game of cards they were heavily engrossed in but when given the order the duo would stand to their feet and follow their captain.

Others who saw the captain and his two first mates exiting from their den near the shores would wonder if something was up. "If'n I need the rest o you lot, you come at my beck n call ya understand?" the men would all collectively state in command. "Oy!" And with that he'd make his way towards the shores to greet the woman personally.

Elsewhere however as the two Shinobi seemed to be making their way towards the surrounding area to scope out what was happening in the area they'd find themselves in unfriendly and unfamiliar territory. Hungry eyes watched from within the trees licking their chops as they prey loomed ever closer. Small growls and rumblings of their stomachs could be heard as they made their way down the road just seemingly waiting and watching for their chance to move. They're sense of smell was keen and their hunger nigh insatiable.

Aside from them however the only other thing they'd notice would be the other sounds of nature, birds in the trees and other small creatures.

Seika said nothing to her men as she leapt from the side of the ship, landing atop the shallow water of the inlet with nary a sound. Cynic and the rest of the crew had their orders; they were to leave as soon as she was out of sight, and only return when she sent them a signal from the beach that it was safe. Until she had a better idea of what to expect of the island’s dangers, she wanted as few resources dedicated to Mishima as possible. So it was that, the moment her heels touched the water’s surface, the ship was already beginning to turn around and head back out to sea, as if its sole purpose had been to drop her off.

Forming a strong of hand seals, the Nakajima carefully distributed her chakra through her cloak and across her body, utilizing the Meisaigakure no Jutsu through her cloak to alter the way light interacted with her body, making herself nearly invisible (and scentless to boot).

Her jutsu finished, the raven haired woman moved quickly, reaching the dry shore in a few seconds before she leapt into the trees, taking care not to do anything that would alert the wildlife to her presence. The man who had directed her to this place had claimed there was a cove of sorts on the south-eastern part of the island that was often home to various pirate crews, and it sounded like a rather good place to start her investigations. And who knew? Perhaps she might find some new crew members… or sacrifices for her flock’s rituals. You never knew, after all.

Shosuke was every bit of the polite man she'd expect from a Medic Corps Shinobi. Kiho wouldn't make the general assumption that his at home life was ideal as many lost their parents to previous wars, but they were certainly well mannered. Despite his main field of expertise Kiho was glad to know that he was very versatile and wasn't built like most medics. Even if that meant they weren't allowed to combat on the same standard as non Medic Shinobi.

She'd take mental note of everything he mentioned so that she'd know how to balance her own skillset with his own in the event of danger. Assault wouldn't be necessary, but it was good to know that if all else failed that he had some things under his belt to defend himself. His defense and information gather would do well to assist her in whatever she needed to do to best suit their problems without having to think too much.

"Subduction and target incapacitation? Hmmm. Scary, but useful."

The later made her cringe just a little, but that was only because she was a Jinchuuriki and that was a fear of both Chomei and herself. Thankfully Shosuke was on their side. "As you pointed out, our job is to figure out who they are and what their intentions are. Lady Raikage doesn't want us to overexert ourselves unless it is absolutely required of us to do so. If we are fortunate enough to safely restrain the members of the crew then we will simply bring them back to Kumogakure for interrogation."

"So until we know their intent we are non lethal." By now there pace had greatly been reduce now that they were closer to the southern coast where their objective was likely wandering about. Kiho kept her eyes focused on the surrounding area the best she could, but as of right now there was no way she'd be able to sense any danger. If Shosuke managed to do so then she'd follow his lead in that regard, but her job for right now was to remain close to him.

He would do his best to make sure she got the help she needed when needed, but it was her job to make sure no one got the jump on him first. When they were in a secure enough position she'd utilize her flight prowess to further examine the area, but until then Kiho continued to travel by foot with her Medic comrade.

[Yamamoto Shosuke]

There appeared to be some sort of misunderstanding between the two Shinobi; Shosuke was NOT in the Medical Corps. Yes, he was a medic, but he operated within the larger ranks of the village. In fact, the very fact that he was here right now was proof positive of that fact. He wasn't allowing Mibojin to come to harm only to heal them later, he was here to ensure that nothing happened to her in the first place. Their pairing was likely a result of Kizumi's meddling, or at least someone else within her office who understood the potential she saw in him. 

Either that, or there was a far simpler yet more ruthless reason. 

In Konoha, it was said that the Senju were often used as companions for the nine-tails' jinchuuriki because of their potential to subdue or incapacitate them if need be. For whatever reason, Wood Release was said to be the most efficient at preventing their rampage. Though Kiho had long since proven herself an asset to the village, considering they were leaving the village to do this mission in the first place some wary individual might have tried to come up with a fallback plan should the worse happen. 

Though, it was pretty clear from Shosuke's manner of speaking and the way that he held himself that if that was indeed the case, he had absolutely no idea about it. Everything about him spoke of sincerity and honour, as expected of a Shinobi. 

"As you will, ma'am, I'll follow your lead."

Arriving on the island itself, the pair seemed to already be in quite the thick of it. Running alongside each other, the pair mothed stealthily through the area, covering ground towards their target. Despite the fact that Kiho had the ability to fly, it was a good thing that she wasn't using it as Sho would have struggled to keep her position in mind should she use it. After all, he was still medically blind, he was having to use his blind-sense to see, and so anything not touching the ground might as well have been invisible to him. 

What was significantly more visible to him, however, was the presence of the pride of lions, observing their position from nearby. Though it might have been as good as invisible to another Shinobi, they were ground-borne creatures and thus had no option but to be visible to his "eyes". 

Honestly, Sho hadn't even been aware that there WERE lions on this island. The Land of Lightning was far to the north of the continent, so much so they almost rivalled Yukigakure at parts. Lions were, in the documentaries that he had watched and read about them, far more equatorial creatures. But that didn't really matter, all that mattered was that they were here. Those said same documentaries had taught him they were a skulking predator, relying on stealth to grow near to a target and attempt to kill them in a single attack. 

Reaching out without a word, Sho grabbed Kiho by the wrist. He didn't want to risk making any undue noise in case it triggered the lions to attack prematurely, but the look on his face should be enough to inform her that there was some sort of threat present in the area. With that, he also wove a quick series of handsigns, working out his usual defensive technique to surround them within the area. 

With his handsigns, vines would begin snaking their way through the undergrowth, vegetation growing and coiling in preparation for when their barrier was set off. Kiho was marked as a non-viable target, so any movement she took would be ignored as they got ready for their perimeter to be breached. 

In times like this, Sho thought, it might be nice to have some form of actual weapon to ready.

Once the shinobi completes the handseals vines grow up from the ground within thirty feet winding their way up trees or ledges to drape down and spreading over the likes of a building in a lattice like pattern. From then on the plants will appear to simply be normal dormant vines, but will attempt to entangle and strangle anyone that touches them or comes within their reach of five feet who is not their original caster or designated by their caster. This justu was often left behind as a trap by the Senju or cast over their homes or outposts to prevent intrusion.

THEY'RE HUNGRY!!

As the pirate queen made her way off the boat and onto the lands of the sandy shores, the welcoming committee would make their way towards her stopping her just short as she arrived on the shore. But as soon as they had arrived the ship seemed to already be turning back. "Heh guess they saw us coming and buggered right off...?" Ghano would state as he let out a guffaw watching the ship depart.

He wouldn't notice hide nor tail or anything necessarily being out of place figuring they must've been running scared. Saru seemed to think something may have been amiss looking to Samika but the woman looked like she couldn't be too bothered to care and so the man shrugged and they made their way off back to their hide away. The captain would turn around towards his two subordinates. "Oi, C'mon then let's head back to camp."

Saru's however seemed a bit perturbed by the situation. "You sure that was one hell of a ship it popped by and just took off." He'd say looking to his leader. "It does come off as a bit strange but you worry too much, Saru" Saru would turn and glare to Sami. "And you don't worry enough Sami...I say we scope the place out, Sami you go get the patrol men. I'll scope out over here."

The captain rolled his eye as if he couldn't be bothered with this nonsense "Do what ya will, I'm heading back to camp but don't be long." the captain would state as he proceeded back to camp. "You're being ridiculous but fine if it'll make you feel better." the woman would chuckle as she headed back towards the usual patrol routes.

MEANWHILE


It would appear that the young Yamamoto had used a sensory technique in order to uncover the presence of a the lions but would also denote that there were two more shinobi up ahead who figured they were cleverly hidden amongst the trees. But they could wait these beasts were hungry and some of them were more eager than the others.

Just as the boy had finished his seals one of the lions would rush towards the young man whilst another attempted to Rush Kiko. The Lion who bared its fangs towards Yamato would use its speed to bite down on the young man's leg with its vicious teeth a maw strong enough to rend flesh and tear bone.

However the same couldn't be said for the Lion that made its way towards Kiko since it seems to be ensnared by the vines requiring the aid of another member of its pride to pull it free, it would only take a moment since its teeth allowed it to shred through them. And just like that both Shinobi were caught in a predicament as the now freed beast would leap towards Kiko, whilst the remaining two would encircle them keeping them flanked. Two on the attack and two on the defense.

Yamamoto Shosuke Mibōjin Kiho 昆™ Seika Nakajima

Seika stood on the shore, her amber-gold gaze taking in the sight of the trio of pirates as they spoke, confused as to what was going on. It was obvious they had no clue what was going on, let alone that she was there, watching them from beneath her cloak’s invisible surface. It was funny, really- she could easily kill the three of them right now, catching them by surprise and slaughtering them like the weaklings they were… and that was exactly what she intended to do. Not all at once, of course, but slowly. Carefully. The fewer pirates she had to immolate to sway them to her side, the better.

So, when the trio split up, the Nakajima stayed put, allowing the woman and the one-eyed man to leave before she moved in. Once they were out of earshot, the raven-haired woman moved, stalking around the dark-skinned man’s back while he looked about, clearly trying to see what was going on, only to drop her invisibility at the last moment, chakra pulsing through her dress as she sent forth a ball of white flame directly into the back of his head at almost point blank range.

With no warning and virtually no distance between them, Saru simply had no chance to react, his head engulfed in a ball of burning white flame that carbonized his flesh and flinging him into the wet sand with a thwack. The only solace for the man was that his death was relatively quick, nearly instantaneous in fact, though Seika took no pleasure in it. Clean kills were so boring, even if it was necessary for what she intended to do.

One down, two to go. The raven-haired woman thought as she summoned a single kunai from her left sleeve before forming the hand seals for the Meisaigakure no Jutsu again, allowing her chakra to flow through her cloak and off-load some of the effort needed to maintain the jutsu. The woman would be her next target- the man with the false eye seemed to be the leader of the group of three, so he would be last. Leaping up into the trees, Seika followed after the woman, an invisible specter hunting her prey.

While in this state, the user will fail to even cast a shadow. This leaves the shinobi in a state that makes them almost impossible to detect outside of chakra-detection, the other three senses, and noting disturbances to their surroundings.

The Other White Flame [Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
Seika, either through a twist of fate or simply good genetics, has inherited the coveted power of the White Flame, the highest ranked color of Flame within the Nakajima clan, and it shows. Fire is not merely a part of her- she is fire, a living embodiment of all it means to be flame, and as such her ability with her clan’s Hijutsu is second to none; she can switch between her flame body and real one with near instantaneous ease (though this does not low the chakra cost), and can stay in it for quite awhile. While in her flame body, she is completely impervious to all forms of physical damage, though Chakra enhanced attacks (particularly Fuuton based) can still injure her. In this state, she is able to heal herself using any natural fire nearby, absorbing it into her flame body.

Yuki’s Fire-Flower [Enhanced Katon Ninjutsu SA - Power]
From nearly the moment she could walk, Seika has had an affinity with Katon that far surpasses the norm, even for a Nakajima. Her Katon Ninjutsu, and in particular her Nakajima Hijutsu, burn hotter than even the most powerful of her clan, granting her Katon-based Ninjutsu a significant boost in raw power over others of her rank, so much so that she is nearly on another level of power. Additionally, Seika can switch between the four different flames of her Clan’s Hijutsu almost at will, but rarely does so, preferring to use her White Flames almost exclusively. Katon Ninjutsu (including Nakajima Hijutsu) used by Seika are roughly 25% more powerful than normal, and cost 10% more to use.

The Burning Death [Enhanced Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
As one of only two people in all the world to possess the White Flame of the Nakajima, Seika’s flames are… unique, to say the least. Though others of her clan do not believe it, the truth of the matter is that Seika’s flames are not merely hot, they are beyond anything her clan has ever seen, capable of burning even setting other chakra-based creations aflame, up to and including other Katon Ninjutsu, eventually subsuming them into itself. This does not allow Seika to absorb any form of chakra, nor does it allow her to work around using only normal fire to heal her body when in her Flame Body form- rather, it allows her to burn Ninjutsu as if it were a physical thing, eating away at it until it becomes nothing but ash. This takes two rotations per rank of the Jutsu, and requires that said jutsu be continuously engulfed in her flames.

Burning Speed [Enhanced Speed SA]
Because of her familiarity with life and death situations, Seika has made it a point to train herself in the art of moving quickly, and is quite a bit faster than many would expect of such a non-physical Shinobi, outspeeding others of her rank by a fair bit without even trying.

Flickering Flame [Reaction Time SA]
Seika has spent the vast majority of her life fighting -first as a Shinobi of Yukigakure, then as a Nuke-nin from said village- and as such has been forced into situations where her ability to react to an opponent’s move is the difference between life and death, now more so than ever. Because of this, Seika has developed an incredible reaction time, far faster than that of others of her rank, and is capable of thinking through problems at a much faster rate, allowing her to deal with multiple opponents on the fly without breaking a sweat.

Sea of Chakra Flames [Enhanced Chakra Reserves SA]
Seika’s Chakra reserves are vast for a woman of her rank, far beyond those of a normal Kunoichi, and as such she is able to use high-level techniques for far longer, and at a much quicker rate, than most anyone of her rank could.

Seika's Dress
A sleek red silk dress made for Seika before she deserted from Yukigakure, the dress itself is stunning, sporting long-sleeves that hang loosely from her shoulders. Made of Waruichi silk, the dress has been enhanced by the Nakajima clan’s tailors and even has seals put in place by Seika herself, making it a very useful tool for carrying goods even when she doesn’t wear her cloak.

The dress itself has a short hem that stops just above the middle of her thighs, with a long train of narrow cloth on the left side that leaves most of her legs exposed. The dress is tight around her bust and hangs off her shoulders, showing off much of her cleavage. The edges are decorated by golden filigree work, particularly around the bodice, it is hemmed by black lacework, and sports a hidden pouch inside the bodice.

Owari Nenshou [Katon Reactive]
Seika’s dress, having been made by the Nakajima, is fully Katon-reactive and allows her to funnel Katon Ninjutsu through it without burning it to ashes. More specifically, Seika has practiced with it to such a degree that she can utilize Haini: Hidama (Cremation: Falling Star) without being in her Flame body.

Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal [Chakra Reactive]
After her desertion for Yukigakure, Seika altered her dress in order to better utilize it in combat, inking in permanent seals along the inside of the left and right sleeves. These seals can hold a surprising amount, and are easily accessible for most any situation.

Seika's Cloak
A hooded cloak of black silk that reaches down to the feet, obscuring the user's form. The cloak itself seems fairly ordinary, but actually has two pockets sewn into the inside, both of which hold permanent versions of the Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal, allowing her to carry much more than normal.

Cloak of Invisibility (Chakra Reactive)
Made of a special chakra reactive silk, Seika’s cloak offers a unique ability that few Shinobi see coming; by channeling her raw, unfiltered Chakra through the cloak, Seika is able to utilize the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique] through the cloth, as well as allowing her maintain it with greater ease during movement. This ensures that Seika will always be able to vanish should the need arise.

Limitless Pockets
Seika’s Cloak, much like her dress, has been altered during her time as a Missing-nin to include the Generic Storage Seal inside its pockets, allowing her to carry a great deal more in the way of ninja tools without having to ruin her look with bulky pouches or garish belts.

Seika's Heels
A pair of black, seemingly normal heels. These shoes, however, are actually made of a special material created by the Nakajima that allows the user to make them a part of the Flame-body without destroying them. They add 3” to Seika’s height.

Haini Reactive
Seika’s heels are made of special material developed by the Nakajima clan for use in clan uniforms; as such, they are capable of being transformed into part of her flame body as if they were an actual, physical part of her, and can be used to form Nakajima clan techniques. More specifically, these heels allow Seika to perform the Baku Sanpo [Explosive Step] technique through them without being in her flame body.

[Mibōjin Kiho 昆™]

The cheeks of the Jinchuuriki flushed red upon feeling the touch of Shosuke. Through her experience with ANBU she knew exactly why he was doing what he did, but it still felt no different nonetheless. Her optics remained vigilant as she waited for some sort of reason for why they were stopping. Did he sense something in the area that she could not? No words but spoken, but instead action ensued upon them all.

Shosuke begin weaving hand seals and upon finishing Lions appeared. They were the last thing she expected to see out here, but given the circumstances it wouldn't matter. Vines begin to magically manifest themselves from the area, capturing ahold of one of the Lions, but not the other. Fortunately, Kiho remained close to Shosuke thanks to him grabbing ahold of her previously. The Beast was fast, faster than she might have assumed, but fortunately she was faster.

A burst a blue chakra clouded in lightning now surrounded her. Her long white hair shooting skyward and wildly as her nervous systems and muscles were complete stimulated from the lightning. Her speed and defenses fortified and thus making her a potential nightmare to anyone who'd dare challenge her. Including the Lion running toward Shosuke. Before they'd get the chance to clamp their jaws on her comrade Kiho blitz in full speed, right arm stretched out to slam it into its throat.

"Rariatto!"

One down, and soon enough the other would be heading toward the Jinchuuriki to take her down for the count. Poor unfortunately soul. So strong, beautiful, and filled with Pride, but they had no idea what and who they were up against. Together, Kiho and her counterpart whom she called the "Insect God" were nearly unstoppable.

A grin stretched across the lips of the Kunoichi before another layer of chakra begin to shroud the fingers of her left hand. Kiho was patient as to let the beast get as close as possible to her so that she could trick it with her deceptive speed. Once it went in for the attacked she quickly dodge and shift to her right.

Her arm immediately rose from her side in a slicing like motion that would ultimately the entire left side of the Lions body open which she'd imagine if landed correctly would kill it slowly. Between her natural speed and the enhancement of her Lightning Armor the beast likely wouldn't stand a chance.

"Quick thinking Sho." Kiho acknowledge while watching the other two lion surround them both. The last thing she wanted to do was too become too overbearing. So far he proved that he was more than capable and she didn't want to get in the way of her comrades own combat prowess.

Hmmm, not bad... Good to see you aren't so quick to rely on me.

  The user wraps their body in a cloak of Raiton though not used offensively, the cloak is used to stimulate the users nervous system. Speeding up neural synapses to react faster, as well as pushing the users body to its absolute limit, allowing for tremendous physical fortitude. The increase in defense coming from the user using the cloak like an armor allowing them to brush off must B rank and lower Physical attacks, and A-rank and below Raiton techniques, and B-rank or lower elemental Ninjutsu attacks (C ranked if Fūton). Because of the nature of this stage being more defensive, an increase in speed is present but decreased a slight amount. though the fatigue and overexertion affects still apply.

  An extremely powerful technique of Tonoda, whereby he concentrates a considerable amount of lightning chakra into just the finger-tips of a single hand and then performs a thrusting motion, which together allows him to pierce a target to fatal effects. After performing the handseals Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger, Tonoda then molds his fingers into a pointed tip, concentrating an immense amount of chakra into them. The intensity, size and strength of the technique can be proportionally increased by reducing the number of fingers involved. The normal variant of this technique uses four lighting imbued fingers that are made to thrust into a target. With four fingers [Yonhon Nukite | Four Finger Assault] Tonoda's thrust is strong enough to break through robust defences, such as the Earth Style Wall with relative ease.

Though Shosuke was unable to see the way that the girl's cheeks blushed, he would still be able to feel the acceleration of her heartbeat. It wasn't the way that a heart accelerated upon the body's release of adrenaline, but more... intimate? Strange, was it just from the simple act of touching her?

Not knowing the girl's status as a Jinchuuriki, there was no way that he could have understood why that was. He didn't know the fear that those who knew her status treated her with, the sheer power that radiated within her veins. How could he have? All he knew was that she was his superior officer, and someone whose abilities and talents made her special. After all, not every shinobi was capable of becoming a Special Jounin, they were exceedingly rare.

Regardless, it seemed the pair were brought into conflict sooner than expected. With a flurry of movement, the lions charged into action, a pair of them shooting forwards to attempt to attack them. His vines did their purpose, catching the one that went to attack Mibojin, but the other shot forwards to try to bite SHosuke.

In that moment, Shosuke felt his breath hitch as he couldn't help but panic. He was a long-ranged specialist, the vines had always worked in the past to ensure that nobody could get close to him. This was the first time that someone had broken through the barrier, leaving him wide open.

Fortunately, it seemed that Mibojin was far more experienced in taijutsu as she shot forwards with her lariat, aiming to shatter its skull with her fist. Of course, though it had gotten close, the vine nest underneath them shot up to tangle around the lion's legs, unknowingly aiding in Mibojin's strike by potentially keeping the lion in one place and stopping it from having any chance of defending against the blow.

Meanwhile, Sho's attention turned in two different directions at once. Of course, there was the part of his mind that was focused on the two remaining lions, their continued presence could not be ignored. However, on the other end of his senses, he could distantly feel a pair of people, concealing themselves in the tree. As far as Shosuke was aware, there shouldn't be any other Shinobi on this island beyond the two of them. Was it possible the people from the ship had already made landfall? It was hard to believe, but if they were led by a competent commander maybe the timescale they were working with was miscalibrated.

Either way, Sho knew what he had to do.

Pulling his hands together, Sho wove through another jutsu. With but a few decisive motions, a trio of wooden pillars would begin to rise up from the ground behind Shosuke, those pillars narrowing and whittling down to the form of wooden duplicates of Shosuke. In but a moment, they left their wooden-bases, looking now exactly like Sho. Looking, but more importantly, smelling. In no way were the trio discernible from Sho, and though the lions saw their emergence from the pillars, they likely didn't have the mental capacity to understand what they were, other than they looked and smelled a lot like prey.

In a moment, two of them shot forwards, aiming to "look" as if they were just naturally leaving open moments to attack. Should the lions take the bait, they would find nothing but reinforced wood, hard enough for their teeth to blunt against and keep them "pinned down" enough for Mibo to have a far easier time ripping them to shreds. Even if a limb or two was damaged in the process, the resiliency of the wooden clone technique should keep them in play.

Meanwhile, the third wove together a single handsign and shot off towards the tree-line. they weren't going to get close enough to be observed themselves, but he wanted something keeping an eye on those concealed shinobi. Better to have someone solely concentrate on such things than to have to worry about splitting his attention.

"Just doing my job, ma'am. Still, the compliment is appreciated." the remaining host body spoke, a quietly confident little smile upon his face.

Then, his voice growing quiet enough that Mibojin would barely be able to hear it over the flickering of her own lightning chakra, he added a quick note. He didn't want to risk them catching what he was saying, hence his appreciation for the natural muffling of the chakra armour.

"By the way. We need to wrap this up as soon as possible - there's shinobi, less than half a click from our position. Can't guarantee they're hostile so I sent one of my clones to keep an eye out for them but... well, there's two of them and I only sent one. Best case scenario, he remains undetected. But I can't guarantee that."

DECRIPTION:
A clone that is created by altering the user's own cells with chakra to create vegetation. Possessing more endurance than the normal shadow clones. the doppelgangers are more resilient to damage. The clones have the ability to travel far distances from the user and are able to communicate with the original albeit the can only pass reconnaissance or simple messages with more complex thoughts and strategies depriving them from their full combat potential. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique.

This makes this technique extremely convenient and a perfect clone technique that only the most powerful and fully developed dōjutsu will able to see through. By directly touching the wood clone with their hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered or change the shape of the clone. Because clone is made up of the user's own cells.

DESCRIPTION:
By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

BATTLE AGAINST CLOWN

After sometime the captain had made his way off back to the compound whilst Samika went off to go and check on the other two guardsmen to see if they had heard anything suspicious. Unfortunately for her she was just out of earshot of hearing her chess partner being roasted alive letting out a scream as he dropped to the floor his head charred by the unextinguishable flame that the woman would have produced as his head landed in the dirt with the captain and his companion being none the wiser.

Meanwhile however out in the distance the hungry lions would have a much tougher time being handled by their prey. As one of the lions would charge away at the duo towards Kiho they would find themselves brutally smashes as their teeth barely managed to scrape the woman's skin, it's lower Jaw cracked and torn by her strike. It would attempt to get itself back to its feet however this only lasted a few fleeting moments. The creatures Jaw was horrendously broken, the flesh hanging off its of face as small amounts of muscle were barely able to keep itself together. A labored sickening snarl would come from the poor dying creatures mouth its visibly pulsing vocal chords spurted blood as it attempted to rally before the creature finally died.

As for the other creature that would be attacked it would find its body bisected its anatomy would spill itself out from its body as it landed onto the ground it would whimper as it tried to crawl away but as it fiddled with itself it would only force out more blood which would end the creatures life rather quickly, painfully but quickly. The other two animals would look to their fallen companions enraged at their defeat one of them opting to leaping towards Shosuke using his speed to attempt to rip and tear at his hands before he could complete its seal. However the second lion rather than fight would run off.

MEANWHILE

The beast was quick and would attempt to scurry away in a hurry not too far from their location. If successful the lions would skurt around through the bush where the two shinobi's were perched. One of the men spotting the lion making its way near the tree, it seemed to find comfort in the two men. Shortly after Samika would arrive. "Boys keep your eyes peeled...Saru's thinking we got some intruders you see anything let me know."

After a moment the lion would make their way out towards the woman, the bold creature would whimper in her direction. "Satoru..." she'd look over the creature and pet its head. "Where're your siblings...?" she'd wonder, the lion would direct its head forward as if to indicate something. "Guess those other pirates aren't the only ones were looking for..." she'd murmur to herself.

"Gentlemen...even the playing field." With that the two bowmen who were in fact bukijutsu specialist would ready their weapons as she herself would attempt to make herself hidden within the trees and each of them would toss down a series of kunai 4 in total that would stretch across the forest but were thin and hard to spot. A sealing tag was attached directly to the end of each one with the Kanji for "Fuuton" written across it.

At the ends of both sets of Kunai were Shinobi wire that allowed them to feel if there was any sort of tug on the weapon but would still allow them to move their hand independently on the bows they carried. If the thin strings were disturbed the sealing tags on the end of the Kunai would detonate unleashing a torrent of wind that would tear apart what ever came near it.

[Seika Nakajima]

Seika followed after her prey slowly, her pace careful and measured as she moved from tree to tree, making sure to be as quiet and stealthy as possible. She could have gone loud, to be certain, but there was a reason she had chosen to come in quietly. Nisshoku was still young and relatively weak. It needed time to build up, time and resources that could only be dedicated to it if the powers that be didn’t have their eyes fixed on Mishima. A clash would have to happen eventually, that much was inevitable- but the longer she could push back the actual date of their discovery, the better their chances became.

So the Nakajima woman moved, following the path up towards the compound in what she presumed was the woman’s footsteps, taking great care not to make any sort of noise that would give away her position. The Meisaigakure Jutsu still flowed through her cloak, making her invisible and scentless, and eventually she caught sight of her destination; a ramshackle shelter, clearly built by men who had no real clue what they were doing, held together by dirt and the sheer weight of its own existence. She came to a stop at the sight, perched in a tree about fifteen meters away, amber-gold gaze watching. This wasn’t something she could take down quietly, but that didn’t mean she had to be stupid about it either.

Four men were stationed outside it, two beside the front door and two patrolling the grounds in a circular manner, rotating around the structure every few minutes, always within eyesight of the other save for a few seconds when they crossed over the side of the house. That would be her window, then. Seika watched for a few more moments, tossing her held kunai up into the sun before dropping her Meisaigakure Jutsu, her body becoming visible again just as the second guard turned to wrap around the back half of the house. Time to go loud.

The Nakajima woman blurred through a series of five hand seals in the two seconds the men were out of sight, exploding her thrown Kunai above the house to catch everyone’s attention, only to use that distraction to form the four hand seals she needed for a much more devastating Jutsu. The raven-haired Missing-nin cremated her right arm as the explosive note’s light faded, expelling a bright white ball of flame the size of a grapefruit that shot at the house, rapidly expanding as it moved. By the time it hit the house it was nearly twenty meters in size, and it kept moving, expanding out to its full size as it plowed through the structure, engulfing a large portion of it in white-hot fire that would inflict third-degree burns on contact, with prolonged exposure likely incinerating anyone or anything it touched.

Ok! So, Seika ends up (incorrectly) following the Captain back to his hideout and, knowing she can't sneak into something like that and take out her target, decides to "go loud." She uses her Kunai (as it has an explosive note wrapped around the hilt) as a distraction, blowing it up over the house before launching her Hana-hi at the front door, which should cover most of the place (but not all). And yes, I know I'm getting caught by own jutsu here- Nakajima are immune to their own fire! >D

DESCRIPTION: One of the Nakajima Clan’s most powerful techniques, Hana-hi utilizes one of the user’s limbs in order to create a powerful projectile jutsu that is incredibly hard to block or avoid. After performing the needed hand seals, the user transforms one of their limbs into flame and forces the fire out in a rapidly expanding orb of pure heat that engulfs everything in its path. The orb begins roughly the size of a grapefruit and expands rapidly until it is twenty meters in diameter, and has a range of twenty meters. The flames of this jutsu are incredibly hot, able to cause third degree burns on direct contact, and continuous contact with them has been known to melt stone in a very short time, while metals like steel or iron will be left a bright, steaming red.

Special Abilities:
The Other White Flame [Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
Seika, either through a twist of fate or simply good genetics, has inherited the coveted power of the White Flame, the highest ranked color of Flame within the Nakajima clan, and it shows. Fire is not merely a part of her- she is fire, a living embodiment of all it means to be flame, and as such her ability with her clan’s Hijutsu is second to none; she can switch between her flame body and real one with near instantaneous ease (though this does not low the chakra cost), and can stay in it for quite awhile. While in her flame body, she is completely impervious to all forms of physical damage, though Chakra enhanced attacks (particularly Fuuton based) can still injure her. In this state, she is able to heal herself using any natural fire nearby, absorbing it into her flame body.

Yuki’s Fire-Flower [Enhanced Katon Ninjutsu SA - Power]
From nearly the moment she could walk, Seika has had an affinity with Katon that far surpasses the norm, even for a Nakajima. Her Katon Ninjutsu, and in particular her Nakajima Hijutsu, burn hotter than even the most powerful of her clan, granting her Katon-based Ninjutsu a significant boost in raw power over others of her rank, so much so that she is nearly on another level of power. Additionally, Seika can switch between the four different flames of her Clan’s Hijutsu almost at will, but rarely does so, preferring to use her White Flames almost exclusively. Katon Ninjutsu (including Nakajima Hijutsu) used by Seika are roughly 25% more powerful than normal, and cost 10% more to use.

The Burning Death [Enhanced Nakajima Hijutsu SA]
As one of only two people in all the world to possess the White Flame of the Nakajima, Seika’s flames are… unique, to say the least. Though others of her clan do not believe it, the truth of the matter is that Seika’s flames are not merely hot, they are beyond anything her clan has ever seen, capable of burning even setting other chakra-based creations aflame, up to and including other Katon Ninjutsu, eventually subsuming them into itself. This does not allow Seika to absorb any form of chakra, nor does it allow her to work around using only normal fire to heal her body when in her Flame Body form- rather, it allows her to burn Ninjutsu as if it were a physical thing, eating away at it until it becomes nothing but ash. This takes two rotations per rank of the Jutsu, and requires that said jutsu be continuously engulfed in her flames.

Burning Speed [Enhanced Speed SA]
Because of her familiarity with life and death situations, Seika has made it a point to train herself in the art of moving quickly, and is quite a bit faster than many would expect of such a non-physical Shinobi, outspeeding others of her rank by a fair bit without even trying.

Flickering Flame [Reaction Time SA]
Seika has spent the vast majority of her life fighting -first as a Shinobi of Yukigakure, then as a Nuke-nin from said village- and as such has been forced into situations where her ability to react to an opponent’s move is the difference between life and death, now more so than ever. Because of this, Seika has developed an incredible reaction time, far faster than that of others of her rank, and is capable of thinking through problems at a much faster rate, allowing her to deal with multiple opponents on the fly without breaking a sweat.

Sea of Chakra Flames [Enhanced Chakra Reserves SA]
Seika’s Chakra reserves are vast for a woman of her rank, far beyond those of a normal Kunoichi, and as such she is able to use high-level techniques for far longer, and at a much quicker rate, than most anyone of her rank could.

Seika's Dress
A sleek red silk dress made for Seika before she deserted from Yukigakure, the dress itself is stunning, sporting long-sleeves that hang loosely from her shoulders. Made of Waruichi silk, the dress has been enhanced by the Nakajima clan’s tailors and even has seals put in place by Seika herself, making it a very useful tool for carrying goods even when she doesn’t wear her cloak.

The dress itself has a short hem that stops just above the middle of her thighs, with a long train of narrow cloth on the left side that leaves most of her legs exposed. The dress is tight around her bust and hangs off her shoulders, showing off much of her cleavage. The edges are decorated by golden filigree work, particularly around the bodice, it is hemmed by black lacework, and sports a hidden pouch inside the bodice.

Owari Nenshou [Katon Reactive]
Seika’s dress, having been made by the Nakajima, is fully Katon-reactive and allows her to funnel Katon Ninjutsu through it without burning it to ashes. More specifically, Seika has practiced with it to such a degree that she can utilize Haini: Hidama (Cremation: Falling Star) without being in her Flame body.

Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal [Chakra Reactive]
After her desertion for Yukigakure, Seika altered her dress in order to better utilize it in combat, inking in permanent seals along the inside of the left and right sleeves. These seals can hold a surprising amount, and are easily accessible for most any situation.

Seika's Cloak
A hooded cloak of black silk that reaches down to the feet, obscuring the user's form. The cloak itself seems fairly ordinary, but actually has two pockets sewn into the inside, both of which hold permanent versions of the Lightning Flash Blade Creation Seal, allowing her to carry much more than normal.

Cloak of Invisibility (Chakra Reactive)
Made of a special chakra reactive silk, Seika’s cloak offers a unique ability that few Shinobi see coming; by channeling her raw, unfiltered Chakra through the cloak, Seika is able to utilize the Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique] through the cloth, as well as allowing her maintain it with greater ease during movement. This ensures that Seika will always be able to vanish should the need arise.

Limitless Pockets
Seika’s Cloak, much like her dress, has been altered during her time as a Missing-nin to include the Generic Storage Seal inside its pockets, allowing her to carry a great deal more in the way of ninja tools without having to ruin her look with bulky pouches or garish belts.

Seika's Heels
A pair of black, seemingly normal heels. These shoes, however, are actually made of a special material created by the Nakajima that allows the user to make them a part of the Flame-body without destroying them. They add 3” to Seika’s height.

Haini Reactive
Seika’s heels are made of special material developed by the Nakajima clan for use in clan uniforms; as such, they are capable of being transformed into part of her flame body as if they were an actual, physical part of her, and can be used to form Nakajima clan techniques. More specifically, these heels allow Seika to perform the Baku Sanpo [Explosive Step] technique through them without being in her flame body.

[Mibōjin Kiho 昆™]

Kiho was proud to have been traveling with a capable Shinobi like Shosuke. He was very respectful too and she appreciated that. Of course that aspect would have to be short lived as there was still danger around the two of them in addition to another problem Shosuke pointed out. "Wait, other shinobi?" It too a degree of emphasis for her not to let out a much louder sense of shock, but she was more than trained enough to keep her composure together.

She wondered if the potential opposition in question were from Enemy nation or if they were attached to the group they were sent to learn about. Shosuke would attempt to send a clone out to investigate, but just as they were about to create a clone of the Lions Opted to attack. Kiho wasn't big on trying to kill the wild life, but what was she supposed to do? Not to mention she was almost 100 percent certain that they didn't even belong out here.

With her Lightning Armor still fully intact as well as her Hell stab Jutsu she'd rush in quickly to intercept the attack by ramming her right arm all the way through the body of the Lion. The Hell Stab would make sure that her arm would pass easily through its flesh, but she wouldn't stop there. She'd let her entire arm pass through until it make contact with her shoulder, and once it did she'd simultaneously use the force brought forth with her speed to knock them away from Shosuke completely.

The Lion would be left with a huge hole in their body and would likely bleed out quickly. Fortunately, her cloak would protect her from any blood reaching her actual frame as she looked toward the beast that was running away. "I was hoping they would come to that conclusion the first time." Kiho added as she expected for Shosuke to be in the midst of directing his clone to where ever he sensed the presence of these potential Shinobi.

"Lets hope that whoever is up ahead arent looking for trouble, but I am curious.... Am I crazy, or is our land NOT known for animals like them?" Kiho questioned to her comrade as she thought of the possibility that they might not be native to this area, but instead would be tethered to a group of individuals that were also not native to this land.

  DESCRIPTION:
  The user wraps their body in a cloak of Raiton though not used offensively, the cloak is used to stimulate the users nervous system. Speeding up neural synapses to react faster, as well as pushing the users body to its absolute limit, allowing for tremendous physical fortitude. The increase in defense coming from the user using the cloak like an armor allowing them to brush off must B rank and lower Physical attacks, and A-rank and below Raiton techniques, and B-rank or lower elemental Ninjutsu attacks (C ranked if Fūton). Because of the nature of this stage being more defensive, an increase in speed is present but decreased a slight amount. though the fatigue and overexertion affects still apply.
  
  Fatigue accumulates in this phase quickly and rather than being like the S-rank version in being used in bursts can be used ruminatively for a total of (10) ten rounds before death, each post exerting the user more than the last.

  An extremely powerful technique of Tonoda, whereby he concentrates a considerable amount of lightning chakra into just the finger-tips of a single hand and then performs a thrusting motion, which together allows him to pierce a target to fatal effects. After performing the handseals Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger, Tonoda then molds his fingers into a pointed tip, concentrating an immense amount of chakra into them. The intensity, size and strength of the technique can be proportionally increased by reducing the number of fingers involved. The normal variant of this technique uses four lighting imbued fingers that are made to thrust into a target. With four fingers [Yonhon Nukite | Four Finger Assault] Tonoda's thrust is strong enough to break through robust defences, such as the Earth Style Wall with relative ease.

All but the final fleeing lion seemed to have been taken care of ably, proving to be of little concern to Miho. The irony that he had been sent here as an escort to Miho and yet had been protected by her twice now hadn't escaped him, something he was greatly thankful for. It seemed she definitely deserved her rank, leaving him to give her a thankful nod of his head.

"You're not wrong - Lions tend to be more equitorial, but that's our fault as Shinobi. Once upon a time, lions like those were everywhere, all over the continent - the fact that Kaminari isn't known for having them any more is because we hunted them out of our territory and actively control their numbers in the few populations of them that still exist down in the south.

Though, that's just mainland Kaminari. I don't know much about this place; for all I know, it could have an enclave of wild lions or something... I mean, it would certainly serve as a natural line of defence."

That was what Sho said, at least, however there was a creeping concern looming over him. It wasn't confirmed yet so he didn't wanna share it, but if this place wasn't some hidden enclave of wildlife? Well, the alternative theory was that someone had brought it here, meaning that they could belong to someone. They certainly weren't summoned creatures, they hadn't spoken nor attempted to use any jutsu. But they could still be someone's familiars.

Speaking of, wasn't there a clan in Kusa who specialized in working with lions? Probably just a coincidence...

With Kiho and Shosuke making their way further inland slowly and carefully, the other clones were given free reign to move and explore as they would. The one that was on the trail of the two hidden shinobi grew closer and closer, moving as slowly and carefully as he could. He was no ANBU member, but he liked to think that he wasn't immediately obvious, using the natural surroundings as cover as he approached.

Remaining quiet in his concealed spot, the clone focused his chakra to his tremor-sense, allowing it to reach the max range of the technique. In a moment, he was able to see the concealed forms of the bowmen, as well as the traps set up within the forest ahead. Whilst he was unable to read the painting on the seal with his sense, only being able to make out physical shapes and outlines, he didn't need to. It was a tag stuck to a kunai, its purpose was self-evident.

Were these the men from the ship? No, it seemed like they had been here for a while, but they also weren't wearing any identifying marks. Reporting this back to the main body, the clone paused for a moment, taking up its concealed position to serve as a relay point of any troop movement or other developments within the area.

Back in the main body, Sho was just as informed as his clone was, though the cost was a little higher. Where the clone was within the perimeter of its passive abilities, Sho had to actively channel chakra to be able to read everything going on, but at least this way he could relay all of the information to Kiho. Though he had ideas of how to proceed, the fact remained that he wasn't operating alone on this mission. He was Kiho's subordinate, and as the highest ranking officer she had final say on how they were supposed to proceed.

"Seems like we've got some other bandits in the area to be aware of; They're not Kumo shinobi, that much is clear. But I think they're unrelated to the ship movement, they seem to have dug in and set up defenses already, not something you'd do if you were new to the area.

What's our move, ma'am? Officially they have yet to open fire on us, and we can't blame their familiars for acting in self-defense. Theoretically they could serve as an ally against the intruders, but they're definitely not supposed to be here. They're also heavily armed.
