Nakahara Ichi - Perhaps the only person outside of Shosuke who was able to use Wood Release outside of the actual Senju clan. The comparison was an obvious one, especially since Ichi was actually from Kusagakure, though it was a little surprising that the two would know such similar people; perhaps it was inevitable that the two would run into each other here, some sort of pre-destined connection. Or, maybe it was just random happenstance. After all, random coincidences like these happened every single day. 

Shosuke had actually heard of Ichi recently. In his studies and attempts to grow his own talents and capabilities, it was perhaps unsurprising that he would fixate on someone who had a similar ability to his own. But it also seemed that the two had come into similar roles societally, the field medic vs the would-be therapist. Given the upcoming visit to Kusa, perhaps then would be a good time for the two to meet... 

Still, ignoring the future and focusing only on the here and now, Sho "watched" as Yusei put himself back up into a sitting position, the look on his face one clearly cautioning against getting up too quickly. He didn't want to go too far into it, didn't want to come off as a nag or a hassle, but this guy needed to take better care of his health. Sitting up too quickly with a concussion... well, it wasn't exactly advisable. 

"Right - well, if you have housing, that's good. Better to not be left alone in your current condition anyway..." 

Sho said that but he had to admit that he was still curious - why was there a detachment of Kusa-nin here? He didn't say anything, didn't want to risk coming across as hostile (not after what had just happened) but it was a little concerning. Were they to do with the upcoming exams in Azakaya or... 

Ninjas visiting allied villages wasn't unheard of, but it also seemed like it was happening more and more nowadays. In the last year, he too had been sent on a small diplomatic mission to Konoha, but that had only been a brief thing whilst he was assisting Miroru in completing some missions within the Land of Fire's borders. What were the Kusa-nin doing here that they had enough spare time to sit around in a training area and fool around with people who they randomly stumbled upon? 

Was there something he should be aware of, or was Yusei just being a little lax in his duties? Either way, that knowledge wasn't exactly super comforting. 

"Where are you staying?" Sho asked, his tone trying to remain as calm and casual as he could given the situation. "It might be best if I walked you back to your accommodations. Just so you don't, ya know, collapse or have any additional complications before you get back to where other people can take care of you."

Yusei winced. He put two fingers to one of his temples and rubbed it in circles. He glanced up at Shosuke and smirked. Not going home the second his seafaring mission ended was a clear mistake, one Reiashi and Kazui avoided. But, as Shosuke just saw, he delighted in pushing his body a little too hard. He'd even adjusted to the altitude difference.

While Shosuke gave him a look for sitting up too quickly, Yusei winced at that too. Was this it? He glanced at the ground for a second. "When you get the time, you should travel more. It's good to explore the world, Yusei." Those flatly delivered words of hers stirred something in him. He chuckled, then looked back up at Shosuke with a weak grin. Maybe he'd knock himself out and make friends in every country.

He seemed reluctant to use his hands again, even if to push off the ground. Having glanced at them... his fingers were intact, but there was a stinging between them. "...I'm not used to being asked to sit down and take it easy. I'm 'always on' at home. I'm sorry about that." He said, half-lidded eyes selling his point.

He then decided to... sit and not push his luck. His eyes widened. Maybe it just now occurred to him that he always could've done that. Just sat and taken it easy. A little pout couldn't be contained. As blind as he may be, Shosuke could see right away what years of exercising and obsessively fine-tuning yourself did. He could see the gears turning in his head.

His hands trembled, but he found himself able to close and open them again. He quirked a brow, quietly popping the question of whether he should stand. Yusei wouldn't spring up yet, he'd simply plant his hands on the ground as if he were to push up

"...I'm just posted up in an inn one kilometer away." Yusei smirked. A dull, burning pain shot up his arm as he made a dismissive gesture. "...I'm just gonna tell everyone I had trouble chartering a boat home after my last mission."

DESCRIPTION:

Blood Pills are medicine that are widely distributed to shinobi. The pill is used by shinobi to speed up the formation and increase of blood in the body. After having lost a significant amount of blood in battle, a ninja can use this pill to replenish their blood so they can keep on fighting.

Enhanced Speed
Yusei would rather be out of breath than speak a word about his feelings. His habit of sublimating frustration and pain into physical exercise often manifests as running 5 km/~3 miles at night. As a result, his legs are sinewy and dense like that of a construction worker. He's able to close distances between him and his target as well as position himself with speed a cut above others in his class.

Though Sho wouldn't admit it, he had to quietly acknowledge that he was just the same as this guy - he simply didn't have an off button, and that was going to get him hurt sooner or later.

Hell, almost the entire time that he had spent recovering from losing his sight, Sho had spent doubling down on his training and learning how to develop his blindsight. A time when everyone expected him, almost wanted him, to sit down and take it easy he had spent developing his hijutsu. Even now that he was a chuunin, something that he had been working towards for over a year, he simply didn't have the ability to slow down and take it easy.

Was there something wrong with him? Or, more accurately, them? Was it because he understood just how short the life of a shinobi was that he was so obsessed with getting as much done as possible? He had seen people many years younger than him admitted into the hospital only to die on the operating table from their wounds. He knew better than most, perhaps better than any, how dangerous the life of a shinobi was, and how dangerous it was not to take the time needed to rest and recuperate.

But this wasn't about him at the moment. This was about Yusei.

As if to wordlessly answer the other youth's question, Sho's hand slipped under her resting frame and moved to help him stand up. The boy might be fine on his own, emphasis on might, but even so Sho would be there to catch him if he stumbled or made an error. He wasn't going to let this guy get hurt any more than he already had. It was the protectiveness any doctor would show their patient, especially f said doctor had been the reason for the patient's hospitalization in the first place.

"Alright then. We'll take it as easy as we can. Don't try to rush, and definitely don't pull a shunshin. If you stumble, rest on me, alright? I'll get you home."

There was a kindness in him, that much was clear. If not from the way that he was speaking now then from the way that he had seemed genuinely reticent to knock the guy out in the first place. But, standing next to Yusei as to support him, one could see how his hair was beginning to gray prematurely, how despite being barely out of puberty he was already starting to age. Sho was tired, but he seemed unwilling to show it.

"Now let's go, alright?"
