[Sourei Kobashi]

Blood was rushing through his veins, so much so that he could hear it pounding away with every step he took. He rushed along the dragon matching the water apparition's pace so as to keep himself behind its head as best he could for what cover it might provide. A streak of lightning would go streaking past Kobashi on a direct impact course for the water and likely where the majority of the Hozuki's mass was located given Zaizen's ability to sense chakra signatures.

Once the water dragon bridge got him close enough to his target Kobashi would send a surge to the Shibuki, igniting the tags right as he dove off of his makeshift mount and towards where the Hozuki boss was to the best of his understanding. The closer the better, but thankfully the Shibuki did not exactly need pinpoint precision especially when he was detonating this many tags. The Hozuki in Kobashi's opinion had doomed himself the moment he had left the relative safety of the keep since their team could not afford to destroy it.

Just after Kobashi's leap and igniting of the tags, he made a few adjustments to his position and then hardened his body with the Sourei clan ability to enter the dense state a moment later an explosion that few got to bear witness to while surviving ensued. Bright light followed by a terrible roar of sound and from that epicenter Kobashi was ejected upwards and outwards. It would likely take him a decent while to return to the keep, but hopefully it would finish the target. If not then they would unfortunately be forced to manage without him for a time.

[Shimizu Asuka]

Finally being out of the way of the main fight, Asuka was finally able to go through the two simple handsigns he needed to perform the mystical palm technique so he could work on healing Ichigoni. Luckily, the water had washed away most of the blood he’d been covered in till that point, or he would’ve shuddered at how unsanitary the environment was for healing. It was still far from ideal, but between chakra and his own skill, they could probably avoid Ichigoni getting an infection.

His hands lit with a soft green glow rather quickly, and he raised an eyebrow at Ichigoni for permission before finally putting his hands on him. The makeshift bandage had held, but the man had still lost a lot of blood. He would see to it that Ichigoni wouldn’t end up as bad off as Sora had been, though both were still getting a scolding in the hospital later.

The healing would no doubt feel offputting to the man, the feeling of his body putting itself together sure to seem unnatural at the enhanced speed the technique gave it. It wasn’t perfect, nor would it heal anything, but it would definitely hold Ichigoni together until they could leave this place. But healing was something that came naturally to Asuka, and his expression and manner were both entirely professional as he attended to the other jounin’s wounds.

This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it very useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique to its full potential. As miraculous as this technique is, it should be known that it can only speed up what the body is already capable of doing.

After being whisked away to safety, Asuka utilized shousen jutsu to start closing up Ichigoni’s wound. The jutsu stimulated the platelets to pool up at the surface of both sides of the wound and harden. The entry wound of the water bullet closed up completely, but the exit wound was too large for his body to naturally heal and would require stitching. However, thanks to the scabbing and bandage blood loss was lost and he was stabilized. Too much movement could open the wound again though.

Ichigoni could feel the adrenaline in his system waning, his consciousness was on borrowed time. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a sealing tag. It was the formula that Daichi had written. "This sealing tag contains a chakra suppressing jutsu. If someone can place it on him, we could end this.”

He pushed the tag towards Asuka and then his willpower relented. The Uzumaki used the last of his energy to lower himself to the ground, laying on his stomach with the wound left facing upwards undisturbed. So long as his condition wasn’t made worse by the enemy or friendly fire, Ichigoni would live to see another day.

But for now, it was lights out.

Upon either placing one's hand upon a surface or utilizing an item that is capable of creating and transferring the technique, the user will create a diamond-shaped seal of varying size, depending on the user's whim. Those within the confines of this seal, touching the medium to which it is within, will feel their bodies blocked of chakra, as it works to seal one's entire body of its tenketsu. This prevents the user from releasing or even molding their chakra, removing their power of jutsu. However, the seal does nothing to stop one's physical movements, acting as a flaw that the user must take care of his or herself.

A grandiose display of teamwork occurred, with Kobashi sliding down the large neck of the dragon that Kumori had summoned and Zaizen showing Kobashi the way with an electric lance that threatened to pierce their enemy. The boss saw it coming though, and manage to get out of its way further out into the darker sea water. The waves were making it difficult to dodge as water walking here was less stable due to the high waves and unstable footing like it would be on calm fresh water most of the time.

So when the lance hit the water it shocked the footing underneath making the Hozuki pause for a moment, literally frozen from the small shock of the lance smacking into water nearby. This as he shot off a water bullet towards Kobashi left him open for the attack Kobashi had in mind.

The Sourei leaped forward off of the dragon unfurling his sword out before increasing his density and blowing it up. This immediately displaced the water in the area in a huge column that shot out into the sky. Both Kobashi and Hozuki would fly, except Kobashi was not in pieces. The Hozuki in question only barely managed to liquify himself, but not all parts of himself, his midsection was ripped in half and some parts of him were now flying through the air before landing somewhere in the sea displaced further from the Keep.

What happened next was a weather phenomenon with all of the displaced water that went into the air, it would simultaneously crystallize and evaporate creating a rain shower and wisps of ice to reflect like rainbow in the sky... Then three rainbows one after the other in the sea for the jounin to see - well not Kobashi, not until after he landed on the ground and hopefully without not too much damage.

As the sea water dripped down as rain onto them all washing away blood and wounds the air cleared and there was no more fighting that could be heard and no more signatures that needed to be taken care of.

It seemed that there was just one thing left - hoist the flag on the pole at the highest part of the roof and the victory would be in hand.

Zaizen watched as his thunder lance made its way towards the Hozuki on the sea below, the Hozuki being forced to move out of the way or risk getting hit which of course he moved, but doing so was what Kobashi wanted the Hozuki to do as he rode the water dragon down the keep and struck down the enemy Hozuki with a huge explosion from his weapons with the roll of explosive tags. At first, Zaizen felt the chakra signature of the Hozuki, but within moments the chakra signature fell silent and he was unable to sense the Hozuki no longer. It seemed everything was now over as Zaizen quickly checked once more for any more chakra signature that wasn't there own. His clone at this time had reached the real Zaizen before he handed over the flag with only one job left to do. Zaizen was tired he had given much during this attack if when they had charged forward when they were not supposed to. Zaizen had even saved a few of his fellow ninjas from harm or further harm showing that he was no longer the enemy he once had been.

Zaizen's clone puffed into smoke to give Zaizen a bit of remaining chakra so he could finish the job and head back home. Zaizen moved into place jumping up to the highest part of the keep before hoisting the flag on the pole. That was it, victory for all of Kirigakure. Zaizen sat down at the highest peak as he took in the view offered him with the visible rainbows now before him as it rained poured from the sky. He took this time to relax as he took in the air into his lungs, he even moved his hands to his head gear that covered much of his face and removed it as he let the air touch his skin and let his red hair flow in the slight wind caused from being so high up. Nothing felt as great as Zaizen felt right now, helping to bring victory to his country and his village. He just wished that his son had been alive to see it. He looked out into the distance once more knowing his story wasn't finished and would do it for his son. Zaizen then put his headgear back on knowing there was still work to be done!

[Mitsudo Soujū]

A Kekkei Genkai that revolves around manipulating one's internal density, this enables him to become nigh indestructible containing enough mass that movement becomes impossible while bending metal easily. It also enables him to phase through matter with ease, possessing an outstanding control over this Kekkei Genkai to the point he can modify one finger to his own body, a part of a sword only. Zaizen is a master of his clans abilities having been using it since he can remember and has full control over it. He has to keep to the time limits which would be nighty seconds before having to wait as long to use his clans abilities once again, though using them once is often more than enough for the Sourei.

[God-Like Chakra Control Prowess]

It's difficult to describe his control over his chakra. It is as if the chakra itself is his very breath. He can manipulate it to such a degree that every technique is perfectly executed with zero wasted chakra yet potent enough that the maximum potential of that technique is always released.

[Prodigious Speed]

Zaizen is quick. His dashing movement mimics shunshin no jutsu, and while utilizing Shunshin no Jutsu, his speed reaches a level rarely seen, due to few being able to see it. It isn't an understatement to say he is one of, if not, the fastest Kirigakure shinobi of his generation. While most focus on training speed & strength to an certain degree, he excelled in training his speed and stamina. Capable of traveling long distances in little time without breaks. This movements translates to his maneuverability as well. The speed at which he punches, kicks, dodges, flips, and dashes are what his entire physical conditioning is about - reaching optimal speed in every aspect of combat. Due to his speed, he was dubbed: [Mist's Bullet].

[Prodigious Reflexes & Reaction Time]

Both instinctual & conscience reflexes are beyond staggering. It is this coupled with his speed that he's reached his level of command. He reacts to stimuli almost instantaneously, this gives him ample time to give a reply. There isn't much that can dash out of his vision without him knowing, or strike him directly where he can't react. It is due to this and his Kekkei Genkai that his level of evasion is top class.

[Silent Killing Mastery]

Steps hold no sound, breath holds no sound, existence can disappear at will. That which makes us shinobi is the fact that a majority of their task takes place in the shadows, and Zaizen has refined and perfected the craft of stealth, lurking within the shadows, hiding one's presence, and covering one's tracks. He can even slow his heartbeat to a near halt, decreasing his body need for oxygen, and hiding his very beat within silence.

As one trained within the shadows, and exemplifying the existence of being one, he is arguably the greatest stealth assassin in his Kirigakure holding the title of ANBU Captain and more. If compared to all in the world, he may just be within the tops. It's even been noted that in a battle of sheer silence, not even the trained Kirigakure can match his lack of presence. This coupled with his physical capabilities is why he's regarded as the [Ghost of the Mist]. He kills at such a speed and moves with no evidence of his existence that one never knows they were killed until he's behind them with a blade in their heart. Even while in actual direct combat, if he's not in view, his presence is impossible to detect via sound no matter how skilled.

[Sensory Capabilities & Awareness]

The ability to detect/sense other's presence by their chakra. Zaizen is particularly skilled at sensing other individuals, capable of sensing/tracking a chakra signature over five kilometers. He could also discern between various populations, capable of pinpointing their country of origin. It was this very ability that enabled him to know that his son's killer derived from Konohagakure. Zaizens also has the ability to sense passively for a one kilometer range without the need to concentrate a great deal. It can be used to sense if his natural senses were blocked somehow.

He can also sense his immediate surroundings at all times, this in conjunction with his quick reflexes allows him to increase his evasion rate.

[Shouki Kumori]

Droplets and splashes everywhere, roaring thunder from Zaizen’s lance, and the bellowing explosion at the end of the water dragon’s body… so Kobashi unleashed the full wrath of Shibuki in the end. A marvelous display of Kirigakure’s power from everyone included, making him forget the pain in his foot from all the seawater that scattered everywhere. He couldn’t tell anymore, the sounds echoed all around him and the Hozuki enemy didn’t reappear after Kobashi’s explosive attack… wait, Kobashi!

Since Zaizen held the flag now, Kumori had to make sure that his companion was still conscious after all of that – his density manipulation was one hell of an ability, but one could never be sure. "I’ll check up on him! Give me a moment-" Kumori warned the others before walking off the edge of the roof and sprinting straight down the wall, leaping off a dozen meters above the surface and making his way across the watery body towards where Kobashi would have landed.

Simply a check-up, and a report that Zaizen had hoised the flag up at the peak of the Keep which could be seen even from their spot. Kobashi had nothing more to fear, and as Kumori was here to verify… the Hozuki had left behind pieces of himself floating on the surface. He was done for. The mission was over.

While the approach down the water dragon's back might have seemed graceful, the immediate aftermath following the detonation from the Shibuki had been anything, but that. Kobashi's statue-esque form was launched upwards and at a diagonal to the Keep which they had been assaulting with the Jounin seeing little, but a spinning blur of color comprised of the surrounding landscape. When he finally did come down from the sky he was tumbling through the mass of trees, brush, rocky outcrops and other terrain that made up the surrounding area.

Unfortunately while he generally could have his bloodline ability last long enough to arrive at a complete stop before it ended, the fact he had been forced to position himself above the explosion this time around made that an impossibility. While he had managed to tank most of the trees he crashed through in his dense state, it ended just before he came to his final resting position.

As he sat in his small crater surrounded by fragments of wood, stone and earth Kobashi could feel that his left shoulder was at an awkward angle as well as found his breathing painful and difficult. Still he was alive at least and in the horizon he could see a flag being raised atop the keep. Either the team were getting ahead of themselves or more likely the threat had been dealt with. Kobashi closed his eyes for a moment and gave himself a moment of well deserved rest; he would get up in a few minutes and try to rejoin the others then. . . maybe more than a few minutes.
