[Seika Nakajima]

Seika watched Daigo freeze, his fear and understanding palpable as he stood in front of the door, knowing what her words meant. Knowing the promise in them, that no matter how long she had to wait, she would make him pay for this. Perhaps it was that knowledge that led to the Green Flame’s next actions; he opened the door, bowing as low as he could to her without prostrating himself on the floor, the tremors of his voice shaking with the effort it took to swallow his pride. To her, at least. She doubted anyone else would be able to recognize the change in his tone for what it was, rather than what she had seeded it to be.

"I know you will, darling. We still have so much left to explore together.” She said, her voice trailing after her cousin as he stood up and left, paying as little attention to her men as possible… which was a good thing for them, as she had no doubt he would have killed any of them he looked at for their insolence, had he bothered to check the expression on some of their faces. Still, he went free without further issue, a ship returning after a few minutes to take him aboard and ferry him to his intended destination.

And all the while Seika watched, silent as the grave.
