[Honō Kojirou]

Okay, maybe Kojirou should’ve cooked up a scenario concerning her family. The reason behind that conclusion was because of the difficulty of transforming into someone you’ve likely never seen up close before – had she really never met Ichī? It was a thought he got from seeing her transformation, but the more he looked… ye, Ichī wasn’t as short. He also had his scar on the other side of his face. The facial textures were a bit sloppy, but…

For an Academy student, transforming into their lord’s figure was almost a given test at the graduation exam. She’d need to meet Ichī before that!

"… Hai… Hai…” Kojirou felt overwhelmed by the classy voice of hers, flying out of his transformation with a huge smoke cloud, "The watermelons have been protected! Mostly… maybe you should go meet the Lord of our village before you take the exam. It’s gonna be really important!” As long as she didn’t pick Genjutsu as a topic for the exam… he did, and it led to him sort of taking another year.

"You’re welcome, Kin-chan! Uh, if you see Saya, please ask if she could help sew up Ryo’s nose again before picking him back up…” he commented – for clarification, Ryo was the name of his lion teddy, and the nose was hanging loose. Kojirou didn’t want to use quicklime to glue that nose back on again, but Saya likely knew how to. Also… they sometimes used to swap the teddy between each other. Ryo was very supportive of Kojirou’s sleeping habits back when Saya got tired of being his roommate.

"And make sure to eat your veggies, too! Watermelons aren't veggies, but they're good too! Grow big and strong, so you can beat up anyone who threatens our clan and village!”

"Hai Koji-Nii! I'll make sure to do all of that!" She says with a smile on her face and a bright look in her eyes. Before twisting on her ankle and finding herself running off with all the enthusiasm of a six year old. Having learned some new skills, having been educated, and having done her good work for the day. She finds herself running off, but then immediately comes back to take the empty basket she came with, before running down the road again. She was definitely happy with the prospect of growing even stronger, and with it? Who knows what the future held?

Maybe she'd be a very prominent genin or high ranking ninja some day. But for now? She needed to head back home, do some more training, talk with cousin Saya about Ryo, and grow up a little bit. Maybe not too fast though. After all, the little Kin had time, and nobody wanted her to truly lose that child like innocence and wonderment too fast. She seemed to be a little beacon of adorable affection in Kusagakure, and as some might say, the mascot of the Hono Clan. Taking all of that into consideration? Today could be considered a wonderful step and fantastic venture on Kin's quest to become a ninja.
