Yuudai was surprised to hear that Oriko was older than he was despite his size, but he would soon understand why. He was shocked to hear that Oriko had lost both his parents, and it reminded him of how he lost Yuusuke and never met his mother. Even more shocked to hear how the boy’s body was burned to such a degree and he survived, it was a testament to medical ninjutsu for sure. "Im sorry that happened to you." Yuudai would say with a somber voice. As Oriko would decide to climb on the boat, Yuudai would follow suit, finally being able to release his water walking ability. Although his devil bringer was still active so he was not completely free of any chakra drain. He was surprised that the medic had not asked anything about his arm, but it was more than likely he knew of the Takeda clan’s kkg.

After some time the wetlands would soon reveal the capital city of the country, with Oriko saying that it was easy as pie. Yuudai would begin to drop his guard ever so slightly letting out a sigh as the river gates came into view. He would clench his right fist and just like that his arm would return to normal. Looking to Oriko he would smile and say "Yeah maybe that was easy.”
