SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME
A few seconds. It was all he needed to counter. The manner in which he countered, however, was not what Amaterasu expected. It was fast and sudden. Before she knew it her palm had been abruptly stopped in its motion. Her forward motion slowed to a crawl, and then stopped altogether. And then… Then she began to feel the force push back. The muscles in her legs tensed as her feet dug into the harsh ground. Blood began to soak through the tourniquet she had made, dying the dusty white cloth in crimson. Every muscle in her body screamed. Fighting ninjutsu with ones bare hands was brutal. And a force such as this was no trifle. She began to grit her teeth. It was more a battle of raw power than anything else at this point. She had dropped her trick altogether, moving her other hand to push against the wind-wall too. The ground began to rupture beneath her feet, creating a trail as she was pushed back more and more. Her arms, which had been locked straight outward had buckled. Her left hand had begun to bleed once more, and she could feel her strength draining. This all happened over the course of mere moments, seconds of battle that felt like an eternity. Unfortunately, even her well-toned body could only handle so much for so long…
Whether it was her muscles tiring out, her will to fight against such a strong force failing her or simply the decision to not expend any further energy against mere wind when the real target is still standing is unknown; but the Iwagakure shinobi was knocked back. The wind knocked her off her feet, and for a brief moment she was airborne. Not sent very high, but pushed a decent distance away (approximately 8 meters). The battle had left its close combat phase once again. Or, perhaps better put, had been forced out of close combat. Which meant one of two things to Amaterasu: The man was injured to the point of not wanting to take it to taijutsu, or he merely NEVER wanted it to come to taijutsu from the beginning. The latter was more likely, given how the fight had gone on thus far. He had focused on keeping her at a moderate range, out of reach for her but not so far as to mean long-range combat.
She came to a skidding stop along the ground, dropping down so that her right hand helped slow her movement. A gentle push from the ground and she was back into her standing position. Sweat, which had been beading on her body throughout the entirety of the fight, now had her tan hide completely soaked. Her white clothes were a mess of damp, dirty tatters. Her exposed abdomen was moving back in forth rhythmically as she breathed heavily. She had been burning chakra fairly consistently since the start of the battle, had taken numerous injuries, and had been over-exerting herself physically for some time now. Fine… She sighed. Perhaps… Perhaps today was the day of her death? Fighting for this village she cared little for… No. It wasn’t the village she was fighting for. Images of the Yutakako compound flooded her mind. It was her people… The clan she loved so dearly. Even if they only knew her as an eccentric clan member and nothing more, she loved them ever so much. And she had led them to the best of her ability thus far. Giving up wasn’t an option to her… But she didn’t have much more she could expend. Her standing posture wavered briefly, before stiffening.
Fine. She’d exhaust herself a bit more. Just one final attack. If it worked, fantastic. Either way, she’d be done. She hadn’t wanted to use this jutsu. Not because of the danger it posed, but more that it was a taxing move even for a highly trained Yutakako. She wouldn’t run out of chakra with this last attack, surely, but she’d certainly run out of steam.
Forming hand-seals at a blinding speed, she began to zig-zag erratically towards her opponent. Her fight would be over here. At the very least, she’d show him one of the Yutakako’s prized jusu. She began to let out a war-cry as she ran; a guttural, loud bellow of fighting spirit. As she closed the gap between the two, she pulled her right hand back. Instead of a palm attack, she formed a fist. With every ounce of energy she could muster, she propelled herself towards him. Her white clothing rippled as she did so, swinging her fist out towards his body in her last, desperate attack.
NAME: Usagi Sanpo [Rabbit walk]
RANK: C
CHAKRA USAGE: N/A
CLASSIFICATION: Taijutsu
ELEMENT: N/A
DESCRIPTION:
Usagi Sanpo is the art of moving really fast, in a nonlinear direction. The user approaches the target in a zig-zag pattern, pouncing left and right while facing the opponent. Due to speed of the movement, and the irregular pattern, they are often confused as to when or how to strike, thus leaving them aghast until it's too late.
NAME: Bakuton: Jiraiken [Explosion: Landmine Fist]
RANK: A
CHAKRA USAGE: High
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: Bakuton
DESCRIPTION:
After establishing direct contact with their opponent through a simple punch, the user utilises Explosion Release to subsequently generate an enormous explosion from the initial point of physical contact. This explosion is powerful enough to completely obliterate an opponent far larger than the user.
Due to the directionality of the blast, the user minimises any potential repercussions, such as being struck by resultant debris and even recoil appears to be completely negated.
This jutsu is possible to be used to other ends; punching the ground so the earth breaks and stops the enemy, or to break through a wall, even to cause a miniature tsunami through the shockwaves, one could say this is one of the most fearsome jutsu of the clan.
