DESCRIPTION:

There has been a rumor going on about a special flower which has been said to have grown from the ancient divine tree. The divine tree derives from a "fable" most old folk tell to ordinary children. In the fable, the divine tree is storied as a legendary tree in which the savior of the world searches for in order to acquire super powers. In short, the hero in the story discovers the divine tree's whereabouts and acquires the special powers as aforementioned. Once he acquires the power he saves the world by preventing catastrophic natural disasters. After saving the world from its greatest natural disaster, the hero finds himself slowly turning into a tree. Before any of the people from villages could thank him, he had already become one with nature and thus no one has heard of him since.

The story itself is thousands of years old and no one has ever believed it to be truth. However after an outbreak in the land near Kusagakure, there was word going around that a man had eaten a flower and acquired a dark sinister power in which he used to single-handily pillage a non-shinobi village. No one knows for sure where this man is currently located but a survivor who witnessed him first eat the plant had managed to scurry into the lands of Hi no Kuni. He spoke of the disaster that occurred in his home village and how the criminal's personality changed just minutes after he consumed the plant. From there word circulated and people have connected the incident to the old hero and the divine tree story.

Reluctantly enough, the fire country's Hokage decided to do a little more research about this conflict and has arranged a platoon of sharp intuitive shinobi. The Hokage managed to have the witness escorted safely into Konoha where he would discuss the incident in thorough detail and ultimately provide a description of the flower he saw the man eat. Thanks to the Hokage's intelligence she was able to quickly allude the flower to a special plant that grew only two times every seven years. To the world of shinobi and highly skilled- medics, the plant is known as "Kojinsei" an intricate ingredient in creating top-of-the-line chakra enhancement supplements similar to the Akimichi clan's special pills. Not too much is known about the plant's habit being that it changes every seven years. There have also been instances where a plant sharing the same appearance as the Kojinsei flower but are in fact parasites. Those two facts alone have forced most "sane" people to keep from searching for the flower.

The team assigned to this mission are given three tasks for this mission's completion:

Task 1: Acquire permission from Kusagkure's village leader to take a three day stay in the Grass village.


Task 2: Acquire any information possible about the flower and/or the man who was rumored to have eaten the flower from villagers and Kusa shinobi.


Task 3: Search for the Kojinsei flower and find out about the criminal's whereabouts. DO NOT ENGAGE in battle with the criminal without taking proper precautions such as consolidating with Kusa's lord.
