DESCRIPTION:

Minazawa faces off against Hono Kusari, a special Jonin in Kusagakure whom pushes her body to the limits as she shows him the power and refinement of her Mokuton jutsu. Engaging in a fierce spar, she strains herself to show off her techniques, but also to maintain the pride of her clan and village. She faces with the idea of her mortality and in the end is put into a critical condition where she is rushed to a hospital.

Here, their vessel comes under attack by pirates which the two Genin defeat succinctly. Due to Minazawa's failing health, she has a momentary lapse where her body locks up, and she is wounded in the battle. Making a return back to the village, she seeks further medical treatment, though the mission was a success.
