It had been a while since the chase for the fan and the vacation that had followed that event. Since then it had seen Satoshi bonding more with the troublesome redhead that was Kawai Sada. Like moss she had grown on him and the nara had warmed up considerably since the time the two had first met especially since the most recent events.

While he still didn’t seek her out regularly the two had begun to hang out and interact more casually, almost in a friendly way. He was more tolerant of her antics but not enough to just be one of those people that just trailed after her and their interactions still held some of their usual bite.

There had been a lack of joint missions between them or at least not that many something that was going to change today as the two were going to be heading out on one. In fact, it was actually a continuation of a lead they had found on a previous mission while they had been sent to explore the ruins of some old town.

Not that they had done too much exploring in the end but that was besides the fact. This time there would certainly be more of that as these Uzumaki ruins promised to hold something of importance if the scroll was to be believed.

Satoshi deciding on being mindful had been the one to receive both the mission and the briefing desiring to not only spare Sada from interacting form the Hokage but more to spare his own headache of having to endure that and Kami forbid try to defuse a situation if one appeared.

That’s why he was once more walking away towards the village gates as his sense drifted towards Sada’s signature briefly to see if he would need to remind her that they had a mission and dragging her either from her home or where ever she was.

Of course, a checkup round on all those other signatures that he was familiar with to see if they were alright was also made, surprisingly they had once more steadily began to rise in number.

Returning from the mission in the Land of Whirlpools had brought her mixed feelings. On one hand, it had been an irritating loss. Of course, at no fault of her own. Lady Hokage surely didn’t feel that way, but that was hardly her concern. Kawai Sada was perfection itself. If it was anyone’s fault, it had been Satoshi backing off! But… he had given her a sweet vacation following the events. Beaches and tanned skin were a wonderful remedy to an irritated heart. In the end, Sada didn’t know how she felt about it all but decided it didn’t much matter.

If Satoshi had checked earlier in the day, he would have noted that Sada’s signature wasn’t even within the village. Earlier in the morning, Sada had packed the tools she would need for the journey and then departed the village. No real reason. She wasn’t brooding. Nor was she upset. Every now and again, the Uzumaki departed to compare herself to the beauty of nature. The earth had a rugged beauty that was so easily tarnished, but the delicateness of it was somewhat attractive to her. While she would remain perfect for years to come, nature would do no such thing. It faded and wore out. Renewed, but it was never the same.

Dressed ready for departure and combat, the woman had all that was necessary. Her tools, equipment, fan. A red ponytail high on her head, loose curls spreading down her skull and touching her shoulders. She’d wear tight black leggings to herself, leaving little room for any imagination. A green tank with matching jacket that held the same color as Konoha’s leaf! For the time being, Sada was unconcerned with where Satoshi might be. She knew he could find her if he wanted. So strolling back on the road now, not a care in the world, she’d await for him to catch up.

Satoshi had no trouble pinpointing the location of Sada with his ability but what surprised him was the fact that the redhead was actually not in the village. In fact, she was already out and walking away from it towards the general direction of where their mission objective was.

Thankfully the nara was already geared up and with a shake of his head in part exasperation and amusement he made his way out of the village gates. Throwing a wave to the gate guards on duty as he exited Satoshi took off into the trees in order to swiftly catch up to his teammate.

Aware that she was most likely expecting him the moment he caught up with her Satoshi just dropped out from the trees and fell in step with her. Giving her a side glance the nara just let out a sigh and said aloud "Troublesome, you could have waited for me you know.”

Even if he had said in exasperated way there was no real bite to it or was he truly bothered by her action seeing as this point he knew how she operated fairly well and this was exactly along the lines of something she would do.

He also had his sensory to find her location something she probably knew and added on why she had done it among other factors. "I even went through the trouble of getting briefed and taking our mission on my own, you know. We are going on another ruin exploration, a continuation on the lead we found a while ago when we revisited that forest. Honestly you would think us treasure hunters at this point with how many missions of this variety we have been going on if you include recent events.”

Putting his hands inside of his pockets Satoshi adopted an outwardly relaxed stance that betrayed his body’s ability to act even if he was able to sense everything around both of them. Yet he was also not as serious as he usually was when on mission or at least when going on ones with Sada.

Glancing her way once more he spoke aloud "The location is the direction of Nohara no Kuni if what the scroll provided was true. The location is supposedly hidden but there are clues on where the entrance is.”

Him dropping from the trees wasn’t completely expected, but it didn’t surprise her. Kurama knowing he was coming long before he was at her side, he felt uneasy and unsure. Not in the way that he thought he was in danger, but moreso he didn’t know how he felt about the Nara today. Sometimes he was vehemently against the boy’s existence and how weak he was in comparison. At other time, he was quite a convenient little human. Today still had much to reveal, the fox would see.

Sada however, was amused. A smirk pulling at her lips, she wouldn’t even turn her head much to catch the Nara in her green eyes. Chuckling quietly at his words, she’d return her gaze ahead in order not to give him the satisfaction of taking all of her attention. "I wasn’t going yet. I was already outside the village since early this morning. It’s not all about you, Satoshi.” She’d mock him for questioning her and sighing at her actions. There was nothing harsh between them though. Sada found nothing to be irritated at in what he said. And she didn’t place any real aggravation in what she said back.

Chuckling once again at the woe and hardships of the poor Nara, she’d actually turn her head, looking to him in mock disbelief. "Oh no Satoshi. You had to do team leader things. However did you survive?” Amused with herself, she’d look away from him once again. Nothing really to look at other than the path ahead, her attention admit it or not was on Satoshi himself. "Niko knows well enough to send the greatest treasure to retrieve the others.” Not able to hold off her arrogant remark, the Uzumaki would smirk to herself and mentally almost pat herself on the back. She did good work, Satoshi was only there for support.

The Nara relaxed beside her, which in turn, only made sure she felt at ease. It wasn’t often that Satoshi would even attempt to appear so. He gave further instructions, the side glancing jinchuuriki gaining his eyes briefly. Towards Nohara. Ruins and treasure from a scroll. "Well, then should we move faster?” A simple challenging smirk, though not overly meaning anything. She was testing her team leader with wrestling a bit of position from him. For another time on a mission with the Nara, the woman took off ahead of him. He could follow or direct, but if he stayed put she would keep going. Towards the objective and with purpose!

Satoshi only rolled his eyes amusedly at both her arrogant remark and the mocking directed towards him. He was pretty sure the redhead thought she always did all the work as well no doubt.

If that was the truth of the matter then the Nara’s life would have been way easier and he wouldn’t be worrying about getting grey hairs prematurely from the responsibility of handling the team and more importantly her.

He would like to see how she would like dealing with all the troublesome stuff involved on the administrative side of being a team leader. On second thought it was probably better if she didn’t take the job, the Hokage might just go and kill him for the mess it would cause.

Still, even if his thoughts sounded negative there was no real malice to them just a bit of expiration maybe but nothing too foul. He wasn’t too caught up in his musings to miss the challenge of authority Sada did though, so with a sigh he dashed after her.

Since he had done so almost immediately he didn’t have to try hard to catch up and he swiftly ended up next to her.Voice carrying some exasperation he directed towards her while giving a side glance "Do you even know in which direction we need to go beyond just Nohara?”

The duo would dash across the trees undisturbed with Satoshi occasionally giving direction towards the place where they would begin the search for the place they needed to locate.

Passing the border into Nohara they would continue to travel for an hour more while passing a few small villages. Finally reaching the region where the temple was supposedly located Satoshi signaled for them to drop out from the trees.

If Sada followed along the nara would turn towards her and address her "Alright the place should be somewhere around here or at vaguely in this region.”

Focusing on his sensory sense he noticed something right at the edge of it so with a brief moment of concentration he expended the range allowing him greater clarity. Not that it helped all that much as Satoshi was able to catch a few signatures just as they suddenly disappeared into nothingness.

He doubted the group he had noticed were all skilled enough to completely suppress their chakra. No this was more similar to the phenomena that had occurred when they went to explore the ruins. On the bright side that meant they wouldn’t have to search overly hard.

Bringing his focus upon Sada once more he spoke up "Well we are in luck and won’t have to loiter around here too long while searching for clues where to even begun. The place is around 19 kilometers to the north or at least the same type of barrier that covered the ruins we explored before. There were a few signatures I detected enter it but they were sort of finicky so not sure if it was other shinobi.”

Sa:Kagura Shingan [Kagura Mind's Eye]
After exploring his innate sensory abilities and thanks to his perfect chakra control Satoshi was able to unlock the Kagura Shingan. This ability allows him to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. His able to achieve this effect by focusing and opening his mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost Satoshi is able to keep it active passively at all times (Range is 15km) and increase the range even more with the use of the jutsu(25km). The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including him, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, Satoshi can perceive its location and movement with great detail allowing him to track the movements of even those that are faster than him.

Taking off at a decent pace, it wasn’t anything to drain them quickly but it would have certainly left him in the dust if he had not taken action. Both shinobi were practiced and strong, trained and attempting to better themselves with every day. Sada simply expected him to meet her side again, the faint smirk upon those plump lips still remaining. His words would come to her ears and an amused and arrogant laugh would spread through the air immediately around them, only to be left behind in the wind.

"It’s your job to keep track of me. If you can’t guide me to Nohara, the Kyuubi’s strength will one day get me there.”

The boy did his duty, telling her where to go and easing her along as they would dash through trees and path. An easy journey ahead as they held nothing of value or importance, other than knowledge of their mission. Their time was mostly silent, bar a few comments or musings as they passed people and villages. The needy Uzumaki driven by the apathetic Nara. With a motion to drop from the trees, she’d follow. They were simple enough orders. Suggestions. So why not? In the end it was just cooperative success between her and her lovely admirer.

With a smirk to her lips and a rise of her chin, she’d let her own comments fly after his words. "Poor Satoshi, Genius still evades you.” Mockery, though not unexpected. Shaming his lack of knowledge when it came to the location they were meant to be at. With a small chuckle, she’d draw closer to the Nara, placing a hand between the blades of his shoulders on his back. A light touch, connecting them as she desired. He’s speak once more, being more specific. He had trained rather hard for this new ‘sight’ of his. Tilting her head and looking to him, there may have been the vaguest idea of being impressed within her heart. But slight. Oh so very slight.

"Well let’s get through the barrier and to our treasure so that we may leave~ Tasks get dull. You might need to amuse me later.”

A grin, she’d urge him to lead them onwards to continue. His senses accurate and helpful towards most overall missions.

Her words of mockery slid off him like water as in by then not only was he used to it but even if she denied it both of them knew he was the smarter out of the two and the brains of the team, Of course she probably would never say it outloud, perfection incarnate and all that stuff. All too used to it Satoshi’s concentration was not disturbed at all while he tracked the vanishing chakra signatures when she invaded his personal space and put a hand on his back.

Relaying the information and listening to her response the nara could only let out an amused snort "Honestly sometimes I wonder how we even get missions done or how you managed to do so before we met with how easily you get bored of them. We’ll see about amusing you more later for now though let’s go.”

At her urging he would take off towards where the barrier was, confident that the redhead would follow after him. Knowing where to go meant that little time was wasted before reaching the edge of it and Satoshi would only briefly stop to mutter to his teammate "Alright be ready just in case” before going through.

The moment he did though his sense finally detected the signatures that had vanished beforehand and now that he had more of a concrete read on them the nara was able to recognize them. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly half of them were reminiscent of the toads the duo had encountered during the fan retrieval while the other half were unknown but seemed to be of the summons variety as well if his hunch was correct.

They were all evenly spread as two groups and were steadily decreasing in numbers, interestingly enough. Still Satoshi made sure to inform her that they wouldn’t have to worry about a sudden ambush at least.

Eyeing the surroundings Satoshi was able to spot the swirl marking that indicated what was probably one of the anchor seals for the barrier though he refrained from approaching to inspect it due to not wanting to suddenly trigger something unwanted or leave it uncovered and alert someone nearby to the place.

Motioning towards what was a dirt road he would move ahead to see where it lead. Small remains of overgrown structures would begin to pop up as they walked down the road. Unable to stop it Satoshi lightly quipped "You know, I hope there is no genjutsu this time or a pit.”

Finally, they reached a more considerable landmark in the form of a ornate red gate with rope tied on it as if to block the entrance. In the middle of the rope was a seal hanging and slightly swaying in the wind.

Approaching it Satoshi slightly crouched to examine it and found a few common things he had seen before. The swirl design was something he was coming to be familiar with and there were a few signs he recognized like the ones for a barrier, blood and a few things he could not quite make sense of.

Humming for a bit Satoshi turned his attention towards the redhead "What do you think Sada, seems like some sort of barrier seal probably empowered by blood but I am not sure what else though. A few things point towards selective opening but I am not sure what triggers them. It could be related to heritage like back on the island but again not too certain.”

Small bit of connection was not denied, the redhead not furthering their contact either. Simply at his side with a hand pressed lightly to his back as she spoke with him with an air of normalcy. At least, normal to them. The snort and remark back to her kept an amusing grin. He didn’t turn her down, he mocked her. But it was poking between the two of them. Digging at the other even if they had hardened their skills and wits against the jabs. It was fun, to a degree. In the end, Sada knew that Satoshi was aware of her perfection, just as she had a small appreciation for his skills as a shinobi.

Urging her onwards, they’d separate. Farther towards their destination that he had sensed those presences of others. With a confident and amused scoff, Sada would answer his ‘warning.’ She was ready by existing. Nothing would harm her. His sense would allow him information she wasn’t capable of receiving. He introduced the idea they wouldn’t be ambushed, but otherwise left mostly in the dark. It wouldn’t bother her, she’d succeed no matter the forces or what he sensed.

The barrier and swirling seal was met. The female looking down upon it with a note of familiarity. The smirk of amusement would deaden into that which hinted towards concentration. Looking to the symbol, it held the same patterns as that of her clan, yet with subtle differences. Satoshi would gain her attention thereafter, down a path and beckoning her follow him. One last look to the symbol for a brief inspection, then after him.

"Don’t worry. I’ll save you, like last time.”

The woman was back to her mockery as had come back to his side, glancing to him and grinning as had become natural with him. At least… when they were at peace. As amused as she could be, the Nara had a way of awakening less than pleasant conversation as well. The path didn’t last overly long, the two coming to a gate. Ornate, red, roped, and… sealed. Satoshi looking over the symbols, the woman kept back. Her weight shifted to one hip, one arm crossed over her torso, it would hold the elbow of the opposite arm while her hand had risen to tap at her cheek with a bored expression.

The "genius” taking his time and then coming back to her without opening it. Sighing through her nose, she’d hear him, but not answer. Passing him to take a look at the seal. Green eyes studying it and looking it over, taking her time and regrettably recalling what she knew of seals, she’d find herself mildly on the edge of being irritated. Raising a hand, chakra would gather within and almost burn across her palm. "It appears like the symbols back in the Land of Whirlpools… Maybe.” Reaching out, pressing her hand to the seal and letting her chakra seep into it in attempts to break the barrier separating them from their destination. He could be right. It seemed to clearly point to that. Blood. Ancestry. The swirls of the Uzumaki.

The nara grumbled internally a bit because as he remembered it was him breaking her out of the genjutsu and the only reason she had taken the role of "saving him” at the time, still he carried on with his actions and didn’t voice it.

Studying the seal and being unable to solve it on his own or well more like not taking the risk to experiment and indulge in his musings about seals without keeping an eye on the redhead and making sure she was actively engaged Satoshi sought out her support on the matter at hand instead. He knew even if she didn’t rely on it often she was an expert on fuinjutsu herself and had gotten closer insight on the seal on the island back then in the whole fan retrieval fiasco.

Hovering almost by her shoulder he observed as she mused out loud about how to resolve their first block on their mission. Some weariness did enter his eyes as he felt her gather chakra in the palm of her hand and reach for the seal, hopefully it wouldn’t explode in their faces or trigger some kind of defensive mechanisms.

The moment her hand connected with the seal the reaction was instantaneous and the piece of paper lit up in an ethereal glow as a pulse of chakra expelled from it. Satoshi’s sense did pick up a few sparks of chakra briefly appearing down the road but were more in the parts of the ruined buildings than anything else so hopefully not boobytraps.

As for what was immediately in front of them the ropes that were tied across the gate suddenly unwrapped and retreated back to the beams of the gate, coiling around them and leaving the entrance open. Honestly Satoshi had expected things to get dicey but apparently his hunch of it being opened by only Uzumaki had been correct, still it was better to remain on guard just in case.

Though with the way now open the nara made his way past Sada while giving her shoulder a friendly bump and a side glance as he passed her, amusement rolling off him "And here I thought it was going to blow up on us or seal in some unescapable dimension. Well there is always next time I guess, still good job.”

Should she follow after him the duo would walk further into the abandoned village, the buildings becoming more apparent with each step they took. Satoshi got a chance to see what the odd flickers of chakra burst had been as his eyes spotted a few small blue glows in the stones. It seemed the burst had served as some sort of activation for the power of the place. That could mean the defenses were on but so far, they had been no dangerous encounters, he would regret the words later.

"Okay this is the place,we could try to search some of the more intact buildings for clues or just try to find the temple and see what is inside.” Taking a moment to consider things or more like to realize that the redhead was most likely to go for what was in the temple and not wasting her precious time with exploring some long dead buildings Satoshi swiftly continued to speak. "The temple should be down that road, it’s where I sensed the most chakra flickers from and its kind also the most intact and visible building as well I guess.”


If not opposed Satoshi would lead them down the main road and towards the direction of temple. Taking out the scroll they had found previously on a mission he red out a passage from it "He who undertakes the journey to the village will be able to go and prove the strength of his will inside the temple and if deemed worthy will be rewarded with the riches he seeks.”


An enormous gate and the steps leading up the entrance of the complex would be just before them by the time the nara finished with reading from the scroll, pocketing it back he would turn towards Sada once more "Pretty straight forwards yet vague at the same time wouldn’t you say. Shall we see what await us inside then?”

If they did go up the steps they would find a somewhat specious and empty courtyard leading to a metal gate that was widely opened and have an insight on a long hallway that went further into the temple and a room with two marble statues facing each other on top of an altar. One was crystal white while the other was obsidian black and the two were seeming locked in a struggle trying to overpower each other.

Her focus on the seal, she barely registered the Nara over shoulder. Her hand reaching out, green gaze double checking the markings of the paper even as she inched her touch to it. She wouldn’t appear nervous, nor would Sada actually be. But there was once more an air of concentration that was rarer to the female’s expression, locked in and focused on her task. And then the touch. Chakra flaring from her palm to the paper and sparking over the seal. It would break and the rope would recede into the gate. Raising a brow in curiosity, she found it rather simple, but also efficient. It would be then that she noted the Nara close to her. Her smirk returning, she’d aim to claim his cheek with a brief kiss before regaining her perfect posture and standing tall.

The Nara as well, he’d move to pass her and enter through the gate. Pausing a brief moment, or more hesitating to add a mocking gesture. He’d hit her shoulder with his and earn a fake disapproving look. Yet nothing would be spoken until after his comments on the seals. Shaking her head, she’d move along with the young man. "I’m sure I could seal you away if you want~” The seals weren’t totally known to her, but she knew of their existence. Her father had attempted teaching her some of these seals at one point, if she recalled correctly, even being capable of sealing the Nara into her own flesh.

Walking within the barriered area was… disappointing. Such lovely sealing only to be faced with ruins. She wasn’t sure what she expected. Maybe the barrier sealing away history into pristine condition? Maybe she should work on a seal such as that… For this was pitiful. Wretched buildings. Grown over terrain. With a sigh, she wouldn’t see the beauty in it. Far from it. Glancing to her partner, she’d roll her eyes at his suggestion. Searching for clues. What was she? A dog? It seemed Satoshi had grasped the idea quickly enough that they should simply continue to the temple.

"Start with the most promising, don’t waste your time on the undeserving.”

What she thought of people? Quite possibly. Yet they’d continue on, thankfully. Satoshi understood. He’d read from the scroll in the previous mission. To her, it was basically gibberish. Something about proving themselves, but no actual information. Even the seal on the front gate held more. She might have even stated such, but the structure of what the approached was becoming much cleaner. Large gates, kept stairs. The smirk returned very faintly to the woman’s face.

"Most promising indeed.”

She’s speak quietly as they continued onwards. An empty courtyard. A building that once must have been a gorgeous sight to see. It was fine now, but… not pristine. It needed care. They would proceed down a hall and find nothing attacking them. No traps. No animals. No man. It was peculiar… What might prove their strength? Pushing over some pillars? As amusing as the thought was, she wasn’t so foolish as to assume that. Turning into a room, two statues would be the key piece to the décor. Black and white. Fighting against one another.

"In and Yo?”

She’d muse aloud, approaching the alter with little hesitation. Her confidence and pride kicking in after the prolonged lack of traps set. For some reason, she felt a bit at peace among the temple and structure of the land. Maybe it was the familiar swirls of her people. Perhaps simply her arrogance. Regardless, she had moved to inspect further.

Simply troublesome was enough to describe the redhead in her actions though instead of only exasperation there was some fondness mixed in as the two made their way inside the abandoned village and towards the temple. Satoshi also found out he had been correct in his hunch to go straight for the temple as she readily agree with it and even threw in her own viewpoint on the matter.

Undisturbed by any traps the two made their way to the room containing the altar and there the nara joined his teammate in the contemplation "Yes I think so, a representation of the eternal struggle between the two forces. Though It’s quite curious how they chose to express it.”

While he mulled over why those statues would be located here Sada decided to draw closer to them and that certainly finally forced a reaction out of the building. It was gradual at first with the surge of chakra originating from the two statues being first. Eyes beginning to glow a sealing array began to spread under their feet and then moved to engulf the whole room.

Before Satoshi could even voice for them to try and get out a purple shimmer covered the entrance they had come from as the room began to shake while the seal ominously glowed blue.

In a blink of light and chakra Satoshi found himself almost falling down against the hard-stone floor. Thankfully the signature of Sada was next to him and as the dark spots cleared from his eyesight he directed his gaze towards her "You alright?” before moving to roam their new location and what a sight that turned out to be.

The duo now found themselves inside a giant stone chamber stretching a good distance with the only thing to stand out were another pair of marble statues locked in a struggle, though this time they were human sized.

"I think we might have just started the trial without meaning to. Also, I do not like the build up of chakra coming from those statues so be careful.”

Moving closer to his teammate the nara would keep a weary glance towards the statues. Though he didn’t have to wait before something began to change. The statues suddenly grew animated and after making almost impossible to follow hand seals the two joined hands in one final combined one that made the floor under them glow once more with a sealing array.

The moment that was done dark liquid began to leek from them and pool on the ground and from it two figures began to rise and form. Not wanting to activate anything else Satoshi refrained from attacking them and would place a hand on the shoulder of Sada just in case she did move to do so "Better to wait and see what happens then to activate some hidden trap from attacking prematurely. If I am correct we have activated the so-called test and like every test it will have rules and most importantly, penalties.”

The shadowy figures were by now human like and more defined features began appearing on them. The nara observed with morbid fascination as the two turned into almost identical copies of him and the redhead. Yet the weirdest thing was that it appeared like Sada’s copy was more life like then his if evidence by the arrogant smirk that graced its lips while the face of his copy was pretty much blank.

A curious structure. Satoshi even agreeing to her quiet musing of In and Yo. Large statues that she approached without an issue. Until there was a change. Even without Satoshi’s keen senses, the woman would note the surge of chakra. Kurama growling within her mindscape at the sudden shift, danger present and both of them aware. But.. what? The redhead watching as the glow of the seal would spread, beneath their feet and closing off the exit. Curious, she’d look to that shimmered entrance and then to her teammate. There wasn’t worry in the female, but it was oddly interesting.

Blinded by a flash of chakra and a force bringing her close to the floor, the strength of the woman bringing her regrettably to her knees with jaw tense and a bit of irritation sparked. The beast within growling with delight now, action coming their way. Kurama was excited. Sada merely waited, not quite hushing him yet and thoughtful on his usefulness. It might be nice to let loose a little.

"Fine.”

She’d answer almost automatically to the Nara, standing to her feet and looking about her. Darkness still caused her vision to be fuzzy. Raising her hand and rubbing lightly at her eyes, she’d attempt to sweep that flash of light’s effects from her sight. Stone. She could tell that at least. A stone chamber. And… more statues? Squinting a bit, focusing her eyes. These were marble, but similar. Struggling like the others. Sighing to herself, she’d roll her shoulders back.

"I’m pretty sure we can take some statues, Satoshi.”

The woman remarked, looking to him with a grin. What were the statues going to do? Even if they started moving and whipped about at them, they were stone. They’d crumble. This trial was bland. Yet, Satoshi seemed nervous. Taking a step or two towards those statues, she’d see the Nara coming towards her. Slowing her assault, she’d glance to him. Only to have her attention instantly snap back to statues flying through handseals. Her hand on her back immediately drawing her fan, she’d wrench it open. Chakra already swirling across the weapon, she would have taken out the statues there and then had the sealing light not taken to spreading once more.

"What kind of seals even do these things.”

She’d mutter quietly, though a small bit of awe in her voice. She had learned much from her father, but nothing to this level. It was then she noticed figures forming. She hadn’t seen the liquid fall, but it was hard to miss it rising to the levels of a human shape. The chakra still gathered upon her fan, Satoshi was the one who halted her this time. Snapping her head to turn in his direction, she almost looked angry. Why again was he stopping her? Was that all he did? A flicker of chakra would have been noticeable to him. Irritation. Kurama’s pools seeping through for a brief moment.

But she’d wait. He wanted to see the rules or penalties. His halting her would not last long. One of the figures. One of them. Was her. She laughed aloud. Sada laughing and carrying the sound through the stone chamber. Something was mimicking her. Not even an admirer. Not out of flattery. This was mockery.

It was dead.

"Come, Kyuubi.”

The woman spoke with amusement. Red chakra encircling her body and even that of her fan as she had prepared her own chakra previous. The Nara’s hold, if it remained, would do nothing to keep her there. Racing forwards towards her mimicked figure, smirked shadow vs cloaked bijuu. She’s swipe her fan in an ‘X’ pattern over this intruder. Ignoring the other figure. Just this mockery of perfection. It had to die.


The other figure, that which resembled the Nara, would move almost lazily. Steps slow yet large due to his frame, it would take a few steps from the ‘woman’ that accompanied him. Putting a bit of distance between the battle that was sure to occur between raging beasts.

She gains a significant boost in speed with this tail. Able to dash about with the ease of a level of a sole tai user of her rank and age. Her sharpened nails become almost perfect and clawlike, while her eyes shift color. A red, beast like iris instead of her green. The red shroud still surrounds her body, giving the air of a fox demon around the jinchuuriki form most are familiar with.

This is so troublesome But I guess I’ll do it.

Satoshi didn’t quite share her confidence when it came to the statues seeing as even the small ones had surprised them and this was supposedly some trial of willpower or something along that line.

His weariness proved correct the moment the statues went through the hand seals and soon the duo were facing copies of themselves that had risen from the black things that had poured out of the marble constructs. Thankfully he had managed to hold back the redhead even if she wasn’t overly happy with it but it had been only until she spotted her double.

The nara had felt the first spike of Kyuubi chakra entering her system and knew that very soon he’d be able to only direct her and would be better to not try and hold her back from her obvious target.

When she dashed forward covered in a cloak of bijuu chakra Satoshi only hoped that the shady construct wouldn’t hold out very long because he feared the two might bring the place down on everyone’s head that and the grim possibility of the redhead losing control.

For now, though he focused his attention to his own copy. With a swift hand he withdrew a kunai and threw it towards his double while it wasn’t looking as his body tensed in preparation for the battle ahead.

The shadow of the redhead seemed unconcerned though as Sada barreled towards it clad in the chakra of the Kyuubi and fan opened ready to split her in half. Instead full lips were further stretched into a smirk not bothering to reach for her own fan to defend herself.

Still green orbs shined with arrogance as the jinchūriki approached with deadly intent but the moment she was only a few steps away her chakra surged forwards to obey her command and chains bursts from the back of the copy and moved to try and envelop the original and stop her in her tracks or at the very least if that was unsuccessful to just block the strike aimed at its body with the chains.

A voice almost perfect replica of Sada’s echoed through the chamber oozing the usual assuredness and arrogance that it almost made Satoshi do a double take and divert his attention from his own opponent "Look at you, so quick to rely on the power of some beast to solve your problems. Are you really so pathetic that you can’t do this without the foul influence running through your body and allowing it to sully your form. Disregarding your birthright for what, a meager power boost?”

Tossing her hair back the copy's smirk would have switched to a sneer during the impromptu speech "What a mockery you are, no wonder I perfection was split off from you.”

Her teammate hadn’t held her back, a smart move on his part. The redheaded jinchuuriki racing forward without any sign of holding back. Irritation pouring through her veins and accompanying the chakra of that tailed beast within her. Kurama excited, pumping energy and ferocity into his vessel. This was the thrill of the fight. The chance to show how well he could destroy the small beings below him.

What the original would note was that this darkened clone did not care. Arrogance! She should bow before the weapon that approached. Yet the shadow just continued to smirk. And upon Sada coming closer, chakra would burst from behind her. Chakra chains. Sada was no stranger to what these looked like nor acted like. This was her clan. Her heritage. Their secrets. Strength in her muscles, she wrenched the fan about. Striking with sharpened blow again those chains. They would not break or snap, but she’d significantly throw off their trajectory. Her next swipe meant to keep them from coming further around her. That double slice she wanted to slice through the clone now meant to beat away chains. Dangerous chains. They were creations that were meant to control something such as her and were strong.

But. This mockery of a clone was a fake. Sada had no abilities for these techniques. She had not unlocked these secrets within herself. Her teeth grating together, not only was this bitch attempting to outshine and mock her, but now she was even pretending to have abilities that the original set of perfection didn’t even have! If the chains so chased after her, she’d focus upon avoiding as she channeled chakra within her fan and self. Red swirling over the surface of the item with the level of durability a precious strength in this condition…

Words would come. Not shocking the female, but more finely irritating her. Her own voice. Mimicked by this fake. This cheap fake. And its words were nothing but foolish notions. She was perfect. The addition was merely added due to the village recognizing that. The beast was hers now. Part of that perfect picture. No foolish copy could understand the simple fact that Kurama was an addition. She was perfect. He was fierce. But if combined, she was still perfect with his additions. Her perfection outshining!

"Die, Fake.”

Red chakra spread across the fan as it was swung with the Uzumaki Bitch’s strength once more, futon chakra would spread throughout the room. Fierce and horrible. All the world becoming pressurized and taking the breath and air from those that lived. The eyes of the jinchuuriki focused dead on point of her clone. The fan held to her side after her swing and clawed fingers raised in her left hand. Closing into a fist while staring at said clone, tornados that had formed about the stone room along with feel of heavy pressure, six tornados rushing and closing in from all sides, two barely rushing past the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki herself and one between the Naras as they meant to crush and slice that of the Uzumaki clone.

Slow movements, but calculated. He wanted farther from the crazy bitches… They could prove troublesome and he had his own target to focus upon. Certainly, he couldn’t forget the females and he would no doubt need to step in if anything befell his comrade. But there was one of importance across from him in the room. The vague morphed body that simulated Satoshi wouldn’t say much at all unlike his counterpart eventually might.

Instead, his own senses honed and in perfect working order, would note the movement and throw of the kunai. Simple and useless. Just as his companion had shown her cards it was time to show some of his. His shadow taking to life and darting forward with fascinating speed. The kunai would be thrown from its trajectory as the shadow made contact with it. But no simple kunai was the purpose. No. Nearing his opponent, it split into four and immediately would take the shape of a drill. Spinning and terrifying, meant to pierce directly into the Nara and through to the ground. A bloody mess for one who might be distracted by a pretty voice carrying through the room.

Not to mention… the counter following… Futon chakra pressing the room to horrible depths. Like depths below the ocean as it would crush man and clone. A tornado whizzing between both Nara aimed for his companion, it would draw the clones attention and draw back the raging drill. He didn’t waste many moments in taking care of his teammate before he resettled back into his own battle. Not unless she looked to need help.

This jutsu allows for the users wind-natured chakra to flow through the area, blurring up the battlefield and making a myopia, making everything blurred and pressurized. It becomes harder to move and to the point of suffocating. Several small tornado-like wind gatherings emerge and attack the opponent fast, encompassing him quickly by the speedy wind. Moves 100 meters in each direction.

DESCRIPTION:

Similar to the Shadow Forge technique, but far more offensively strong. This jutsu extends the user's shadow forward (only forward) at a rapid speed before it splits into four shadows, which lift off the ground and spin, forming a pointed drill. The drill's point is large enough to form an impact approximately a yard in diameter. The force of the drill is enough to nearly pierce through steel. It spins fast enough that anything within a foot of the rotation is hit with the force of repeated kicks and punches. The max range of the drill is fifty yards.

Satoshi didn’t keep his eyes long on the form of the two redheads as he focused on his shadowy opponent and for the better because it didn’t waste time on attacking him. Mind locked into full on confrontation mode the surprise of seeing the clone launch not only a jutsu he didn’t a know but one part of his own hijutsu was a big surprise but internally and didn’t overly show on his face.

Still he remained calm and swiftly moved his legs apart while bending a bit at the knees while his hand did a quick hand seals that made his body surge with chakra before they took their position required to execute the Nekko no shika.

Despite his quickness that attack was almost upon him but in combination with his sensory ability allowing greater perception even when things moved with considerable speed and chakra already charging his body Satoshi was easily able to dodge one of the tendrils before his form blurred in the Shunshin.

The pressure of the jutsu Sada had released almost made him stumble in its intensity but he still persisted and reappeared almost next to his copy while only an arm’s length apart. Knowing he had only a moment before the copy was able to recall his shadow or do another jutsu the nara channeled chakra into his own and made it come alive making it surge forwards in a try to connect with that of his opponent.

Eyes hard and locked to the form of his opponent Satoshi allowed his left hand to glow as fuinjutsu symbols appeared on it while he swung an arm out towards the midsection of his opponent in an attempt to seal and disrupt its chakra. He was trying to get this over with quick because not only was he not sure the place could take a prolonged fight but the nara was also worried about what the clone would be able to pull of so better to just try and resolve it in a flash.

The sneer on the face of the clone lightened and returned to a semi amused state even as the original batted the chains away and continued to avoid them even when she willed them to chase after the jinchūriki. The reason was a simple one and it was just from reading Sada’s expression and picking up the sound of teeth grinding together.

Honeyed voice would ring out once more taunting yet also laced with fake pity "Look at you unable to even access your own heritage and replacing it with what? A handed down power that doesn’t even hope to compare. I pity you for being so delusional to think that you are perfect, that you actually even think we are on the same pedestal of existence. No, my dear fake, you are not even close to the bottom of the podium.”

Deeming it below her and unable to harm her the shady construct didn’t even move away or try to prevent the…. the beast, that thought could imitate her, from doing whatever she was doing with her fan and the foul chakra coating her. The only indication of reacting was a shake of her head in disappointment from Sada even trying to harm what couldn’t be touched. Irritation at being the one called fake did spark inside the being’s mind as pressure settled on her shoulders while the original finally unleashed a devastating attack.

With a click of her tongue in displeasure four more chains formed from her back and shot out. Though almost immediately after it the sneer fell off from the constructs face as it returned to an arrogant filled smirk "You think this is enough to deter me Beast. How foolish of you.”

Hands gently reaching out to glide over the chains coming from her back she allowed chakra to travel through them as a sealing array formed on the four chains. Shooting out they would swirl around defensively around the construct while fuinjutsu signs continued to spread on them.

When the tornadoes finally reached the vicinity of the chains as if passing some transparent barrier, the seal activated and the attack of Sada was sucked insides of them before they collapsed unable to endure the process.

Hand blurring into hand seals the shadow construct spoke briefly "Let me show you how perfection fights like your uncouth beast.” Before taking a deep breath and releasing a giant sphere of vacuum aimed straight at the from of the jinchūriki. Not wasting time, she would dash behind her attack ready to follow up as the chain coming out of he back rattled dangerously around her form.

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion.

The basic stance practitioners of the Tatakau Shika must take in order to use further techniques from the style. Special training also enables the user to use the few ninjutsu associated with the style without requiring any hand seals. Spreading the legs apart slightly and bending at the knees the user then places his leading fist facing in front of the body, bent with the elbow at chest height and facing downwards. The other fist faces downwards and the elbow is raised upwards at chest level.

A simplified version of the Kage Mane. this technique allows the user to channel chakra into his shadow and have it connect with that of his opponent, freezing them in place. Unlike the parent jutsu though the range of Kage ni fureru only stretches a few inches beyond arm length and doesn’t last long beyond only a few moments. Despite its limitation it can be the difference in any taijutsu match making it extremely useful due to short distance it has to travel.Besides being more difficult to evade It also allows the user to move while the opponent remains in place allowing for an opening to be made.

The user forms an elemental seal on each of his fingers, one for each of the following five "elements": water, metal, earth, fire and wood. The odd numbered seal is used to disrupt the spiral core of one's chakra circulatory system, essentially embargoing the release and control of chakra in a shinobi's entire network. For shinobi of high chakra control, this limits their ability to wield the chakra as expertly as before, while those who lack such refined control seemingly have no way to even wield the energy outside of burst-like techniques such as Kage Bunshin.

Sa: Uzumaki Supremacy: Renown for their fuinjutsu and the chakra chains Uzumaki were a force to be reckoned with. Both practically running into her blood she has taken them to the next level after intense practice and study by combining them together. This allows her to not only channel fuinjutsu through the chains but also use them as a medium for things to be sealed into them. Though they collapse afterwards no matter what was sealed inside of them.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the seal for "hurricane" appears on the object that the user has slapped their hand against. The seal creates an invisible 10m wide barrier from the source which will draw in any jutsu that utilizes the wind element quickly like a vacuum. By doing so, the user can seal away techniques used against them that passes nearby the sealing medium. The amount of chakra which can be sealed away using this technique is dependent on the sealing medium: a single sealing tag can seal a jutsu using medium chakra, while a large sealing scroll can seal up to one technique using very high amounts of chakra or five techniques using medium amounts of chakra as a sort of measurement scale. It can seal up to A-rank techniques.

DESCRIPTION:
This technique is an advanced version of the Vacuum Sphere technique. Whereas the Vacuum Sphere technique is designed to cause controlled damage in a restricted attack pattern, Vacuum Great Sphere is a linear, head long attack. The Shinobi will take a deep breath while forming the Tiger hand seal, simultaneously infusing their Fūton chakras into the air and kneading them together. At the formation of the Dog hand seal, the chakras woven together very tightly to form one, dense mass. Upon exhaling, the chakras are released in the form of an air tight sphere the size of a wrecking ball. The sphere is astonishingly fast and carries high piercing potential, being able to rip through most any material with momentum to spare. If the sphere meets a force that it can't pierce, a secondary attack will occur as the sphere will naturally explode, releasing all of the potential energy within the "vacuum" in the form of a powerful explosion with unmatched concussive force.
