Summoned by her master, her Sensei, she had come immediately from her not so far away home to his residence, her Hitai-ate securely formed around her head, she appeared before his door before politely knocking, how un-ninja like. She came completely armed, and this time around, she was eager to show Kazuto her skills as she was informed that she’d be training with him to display her skills as a genin. Never before had she felt so excited to show her ability, especially considering it was a gauge of how well she’d do after her recuperation in the hospital of nearly ten days. It was a long time to be idling about and resting.

Coughing lightly into her right palm, she’d await him, before promptly entering a crouch, her eyes gazing into his as a sign of respect. "Kazuto-Sensei. I’ve come at your instruction and am ready to listen.” She knew that Kazuto was an incredibly skilled and capable man, and she couldn’t help but wonder what his skills were. It was true he was undoubtedly the most skilled and powerful of the Mokuton within the village, and it was also true that he was the current head, the one with the most authority. Her eyes shined with bright determination this morning as she smiled a bright smile. No teeth were shown, but the curve upward on her lips was undeniable.

Remaining silent, she’d wait for him to tell her if her suspicions were true, if he was going to gauge her skill through her actual skill, to tell her what she needed in order to grow. All of these concepts excited her, and she couldn’t wait for the opportunity. There was little time to waste. The precious clan head likely had other things to be doing than just training her, and she was going to milk that time for all it was worth. So then, what exactly was her senpai, her senior going to be showing her today? Some new technique? Some sagely advice? Or was it possibly just a beating that would show her the difference between the two?
Whatever it was, she was excited as she knew that meetings with Kazuto were generally rare with his busy schedule, and she knew that he could be resting with this rare moment of solace, not training some newbie Mokuton user.

Actually...what did the man do in his free time?

Senju Kazuto Avatar

He sat at the base of a tree, as the roots entrenched deep into the rich and dark soil of the garden. Where once he would have felt the scent of snapping dragons, lavenders, sunflowers and lilacs now reigned the scent of fresh fallen snow and frost and the subtle aroma of pine trees as the snow continued to gather in mounts and a hazy cloud of steam escaped his lips with every single exhalation that he took. However the freezing cold unconcerned him. He could feel it as the tip of his fingers numbed, he would feel it as it prickled at his skin over the layers of robes that he wore, he felt it as renegade snowflakes landed on his face and melted straight away.

Kazuto remained unmoved as snow accumulated on the heavy cloak he wore around his shoulders as he appraised a sword. His teal-green eyes strayed from the familiar grip to the tsuba and then to the grey and silvery metal that made the blade. With care slid the whetstone over the edge, the rasping sound of sharpening metal breaking the silence along with the melody of nightingales and the frigid breeze. He appraised the sword again, deep into his thoughts before his left hand reached for an old piece of leather dabbed in oils. He began to guide the leather over and around the blade, clearing it from any impurity it could have acquired, caked dirt or dried blood.

As he continued he heard the steps over the snow covered soil, focused on his task but aware of who was the visitor. Placing the leather to a side, the Senju began to weave slash, his right hand wrapped around the sword before he retrieved the sheath with the left and slowly sheathed the sword with the very same ease of a newly forged blade. He closed his eyes and then opened at the girl, looking at her and the smile with little emotion on his features.

"You are late."

The young man whispered as he began to raise, snow falling from his shoulders as he towered over the girl, his eyes never leaving her.

"I told you before not to call me Sensei."

Kazuto said simply, not irritation on his voice as he reprimanded her, taking a moment to add solemnity to the act and time for the message to be etched into her mind.

"I hope you will resolve the punctuality issue, as well as remember when I asked you not to call me by any honorific."

His eyes stayed on her to observe her, only to be closed as he sighed and he moved past her across the snow covered garden. He hung the sword from his belt as he entered the residence of the clan leader, beckoning the girl to follow with a wave of her hand.

"We will fight, but not here. In a training field."

The Leader of the Senju Clan declared calmly.

She was late? Crap, now wasn't that something bad. Then there was also the note of not calling Kazuto Sensei. Well, that itself was uncomfortable for her, as much as it was uncomfortable for him to be called that, but she felt a bit bashful, and so she tilted her head back before nodding. "Sorry about that. Kazuto...right." Though when he mentioned to her that they would be fighting today, her eyes widened at the chance and possibility of showing her current skills. To be fighting against him to know where she stood? What a magnificent display?!

"Right. Kazuto." She'd have to get used to that, but the fact of the matter was, they'd be heading off and doing something together. assuming he was to simply take her to her fighting arena, she was eager to see what advantages or disadvantages she'd get from the potential terrain. Though, she had to consider her arsenal was pretty limited, especially when it came down to fighting at long range. She was sure that he definitely outclassed her in that area. Great. Maybe she was thinking too much, too deeply on what was going to result from the upcoming encounter, but she knew that she was going to learn a ton from this. Certainly.

"Will there be any restrictions in the upcoming fight? Anything I should note?" Waiting for him to give a heads up, she still spoke almost uncomfortably around him, still not quite used to him yet. She didn't know him well despite having referred to him as her teacher other than the fact he was the clan head and he was good at what he did. Really, that was it. Sure, she knew that there was quite a few people that had mixed feelings on him, but what of it? What could she really say that she knew about him other than he was calm? He was pretty serious and relaxed? Nothing. Maybe by fighting him, she'd get to learn more about his person, his character, and more importantly what he thought of her. She'd just have to wait and see on that last regard though.

Eventually the two Senju would walk to the fringes of the village, with the light snow still falling around them as they continued their path towards the training camps that laid beyond the walls of Konohagakure. As his boots crunched on the ground Kazuto began to consider what sort of limits would the test be help upon, after all, the girl was still a genin and his skills far surpassed hers. It didn't matter how prodigious her skills were, that was still the bitter truth, she would not be able to land a significant hit towards him unless she actually tried to come at him with a killing intent.

Once the two finally reached to the designed training field they were meet with a fresh sheet of fallen snow. The young man turned to face the little girl, a cloud of white haze hung before his face as he left a long sigh. Taking his sword and planting it firmly on the snow covered soil he would await for the girl. His hands gripped the tsuba of his sword, allowing for the snowflakes to accumulate over his arms, shoulders and hands as if he were a statue. His face turned into a stern look.

"No, you won't be able to do any significant damage unless you come at me fighting with a killing intent. You will win if you manage to land a single hit."

In fact you would not be able to touch me at all, if you didn't he thought before he shrugged off the cloak that hung from his shoulders. A hand began to move to the pouch that hung from his waist as he leaned forward, left hand still gripping the hilt of his sword ad he assumed a more defensive position and patiently awaited for her to do the first move in their little training exercise.

"Begin."

"Come at you with the intention to kill?" The thought rang through her head as he told her a single hit was all she needed to qualify the meeting as a victory. Was that so? As soon as he declared "Begin", the Senju didn't hesitate in lurching forward, left hand along the hilt of her Katana, her thumb pressing upward on the sword guard towards the man. Slashing upward in a flash of speed, enough to make a light whistle in the air, her blade was already brought back towards her hands in a sturdy stance, the girl taking a step forward as she lurched closer for a diagonal slash for the man's right side. In other words, she was fighting incredibly aggressively for the meeting with Kazuto.

Minazawa's mind had made her lead the conclusion that the man's ninjutsu skills were far more superb than his Kenjutsu, though that was just speculation based on what she heard of the man. Though, she was still extremely meticulous in not underestimating his skills. He was a several ranks above her, and he was a Jonin. She was but a lowly genin trying to show what she had available in the coming moments. If she could press and lead the offensive, not allow him to weave any signs, she might just stand a chance. Still though. It was a gamble if she could land a solid blow. She'd have to surprise the man.

As her amber eyes sharply stared at the man's face for any hint of emotion of his action, his features, the tensing of every muscle he had, she remained sharp, attempting to clash blades with him and press on him, taking in deep and steady breaths as they were to apparently engage in the art of Kenjutsu. Her blade lightly shaking against his as steel pressed against steel. Family met family.

He readied himself after the words had escaped his lips. His body tensed, his muscles prepared and his eyes narrowed as he saw the white-grey shadow of the girl move. Minazawa was fast, she was skillful for someone of her experience but in her sword play he saw the same cadences, subtle as they were, that he saw in his own. Kazuto knew well that he would never deign himself to bear the title of swordmaster. He was competent with the blade, skilled in its use. But whilst for true masters of the art, the organic motion of the sword as if it was a current of water, or an extension of the limb. But for Kazuto his motions would be those of mechanical precision, and for what he saw so would it be for the younger Senju.

However when it came to met her attack, the Head of the Senju Clan decided that he simply would not meet the attack head on. Instead of unsheathing his sword he simply took a natural step back and spun on his feet to the left, ignoring the wide arc that the young woman had drawn as Minazawa's sword cut through the air and the few unfortunate snowflakes to be caught on its keen edge. As he dodged, Kazuto brought his other hand forth with a quick swipe as his fingers released their grip over a sphere. The sphere landed with a crunch over the freshly fallen snow before a loud pop was heard and a stream of black smoke emerged.

The smoke extended with a rapid hiss, spreading over the training area like a shroud of darkness. It would not be so simple, he decided. To fight her straight would be a mistake. It would be a simple reaffirmation that skills needed to be polished rather than a critique to the flaws that her battle style presented and thus that would be a disservice to the clan as a whole. Prompting chakra to his feet, he would now levitate over the snow, making as little noise as he could. He slowly retreated as he began to prepare another set of hand signs and await Minazawa's next course of action.

As soon as the man began stepping backwards as opposed to engaging her in a clash of swords, her eyes widened, and on instinct, she leaped backwards when the spherical object dropped, 'Smoke Bomb.' As the black smoke filed over the area, the younger Senju clenched her blade tightly in one hand as she now knew there was a disadvantage. She was no sensor type, and she couldn't hear any indication of him moving through the crunching snow. She had to act swiftly, and with it, she knew he could be anywhere in this dense thickness. Stabbing her blade into the snow for just a moment, she formed a brief set of handseals as she utilized the snow to give her an advantage when it came to hiding her own movements. With a deep breath, she called out mentally, 'Mokuton: Mokujoheki.'

With it, her chakra would be exerted as a half dome locking wall would form behind herself, six feet tall, and easily large enough to envelop her whole body for protection as it would form as a barrier. However, she wasn't done yet. Taking cover of the smoke, she immediately transitioned into another handseal motion. 'Bunshin no Jutsu.' With her jutsu initiated, one of the Bunshin would run through the snow seemingly, making no noise, and dashing out from the smoke cloud from the right, trying to impose some sort of attack as it had it's sword drawn, perhaps to get a sense of direction from the hidden Kazuto, staying within the shadow of the tree line.

However, there was a second clone, standing firmly within the shadow of her wood dome wall, weapon raised as if seeming to look for Kazuto, the sword raised firmly to attempt to defend itself overall from anyone that might wish to combat it. Where was the real Minazawa then? She had burrowed and hidden herself underneath the snow, her breathing slow and steady as to ignore the cold, focusing only on the battle as she looked to remain hidden, and utilize her senses and her wit to discover the man's location. She fought not with cunning or with brute power, but a calculating mind and patience for combat. A clone to provoke an attack, a clone to lure the Kazuto in for an assault on another clone. The real Minazawa waiting in lieu for her moment to strike. It would soon be time.

A final handseal sequence formed, she felt her chakra flow through her as she waited for an opening.

NAME: Bunshin no Jutsu [Clone Technique]
(x2)
RANK: E

CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low

CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [General]

ELEMENT: None

DESCRIPTION:

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user can create a handful of intangible clones to confuse the enemy. They do not contain solid mass, have no shadows and do not interact with the surrounding environment, making them somewhat easy to distinguish from the real person.

NAME: Mokuton: Mokujōheki [Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall]

RANK: C

CHAKRA USAGE: Low

CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu/Kekkei Genkai

ELEMENT: Mokuton [Wood Release]

DESCRIPTION:

An extremely versatile move, this technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape with the user at the center. This process can be used to catch the enemy in a double sided attack. Also, in case one confronts the enemy at a short distance, the enemy can be locked up inside the dome, setting the situation for a one-on-one fight. This dome can also be collapsed or burnt with the enemy inside to inflict damage. Furthermore, it functions as an easy shelter against the enemy's long-distance attacks, like shuriken and kunai. Initiated with the 'rat,' 'dog,' and 'tiger' signs.

NAME: Kakuremino no Jutsu [Cloak of Invisibility Technique]

RANK: E

CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low

CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [General]

ELEMENT: None

DESCRIPTION:

Using a cloak or a piece of cloth, a ninja may disguise themselves against a nearby object by covering their whole body in a fashion that blends in with their surroundings.

(She's just doing this by actually hiding under the snow and camoflauging like a blanket. Not sure if this is even needed tbf.)

Kazuto had waited for an attack, for something to happen. A bold stratagem, a clever tactic. But as the smoke waned, he was sorely disappointed there Minazawa hadn't sprung any tactic that would give her a chance to land a solid blow on him. Before long he stood, serious face unwavering even against the snow that had begun to accumulate over his shoulders and the bone biting chill that permeated his entire being. As the smoke faded by the encouragement of the cold breeze, he saw two Minazawa, one moving over the snow powdered surface as another stood over a rampart of curved wood as if the duplicate was waiting for something to prompt her to move. However whatever her plan was, it was clearly painfully obvious.

He noted that the one clone that moved, didn't made sound as it walked, no crunched snow accumulated on her boots. The second stood like a statue in vigil, yet unlike him, no snow accumulated on her shoulders. The real one isn't either of them. He thought and closed his eyes as a cold haze emerged from his lips. She was waiting for something, an opening that would not present itself so long he didn't allow it. The sad truth was that even if he didn't take this seriously, the difference between the two of them were great enough. At the end, Kazuto was a Jonin and he had wanted he would have flicked Minazawa like a gnat.

The Senju calmly began to form his hand seals with his left hand as his right still held the sheathed sword. Slowly he felt his chakra transforming within him and readied to be released upon his command before he spoke, attempting to bait her into attacking, to goad her to relinquish whatever strategy she might have hidden.

"Parlor tricks will not defeat me, Minazawa. I told you to take this seriously."

Kazuto said and he awaited.

"Sorry...It would have been nice if I had a wider jutsu repertoire. I suppose it was pretty foolish trying to get you with a trivial thing like that..." She sighed with a light shifting of snow, and with it, she considered her options. They were...honestly still pretty limited. Any genjutsu she had was menial and trivial. Any taijutsu prowess she had, she knew it wasn't going to work on him as is. There was she supposed the possibility of ninjutsu, her most talented of her styles, but he taught her most everything she knew in that regard. This was all in all an incredibly precarious and difficult situation she wasn't sure how to deal with. She definitely couldn't out tactic or smart him. That only really left a handful of solutions and none of them in particular were...favorable.

Forming a handseal, she frowned as she made due with what was possible. Regardless, she had to do what she could. Coated in a light sheen of snow, she wished to some extent that she didn't feel as if everything she did exasperated Kazuto, or made him feel somewhat disappointed in her. Or at least that's how she felt. However, as she hopped out, she dashed from the snow, her handseal sequence completed, a handful of ten Shuriken thrown Kazuto's direction in two straight lines of five, one line aimed for his upper body, the other aimed for his chest and legs as she continued to dash, utilizing the tree walking technique to dash up a tree, looping around as she began another handseal sequence, chakra channeled through her legs.

'Shunshin no Jutsu.' As Kazuto was likely to expect her coming around in her next loop, she did so, but blurred in movement as she looked to blur behind Kazuto, mid air as she suddenly rapidly swung her blade downward. Iaigiri! Her left hand wielding the blade, she looked to overpower him, and with it, she had to see his reaction before she was to finish her attack combination. She might have been making too many risky and hasty moves, but it was all she  could do at this point! It was do or die. As her blade swung with a woosh, aiming straight for the back of his head, she had prepared the Sashiki no Jutsu, consciously ready to perhaps stab the man through his person, even though she knew the difference in skill was worlds apart.

"Hah!" Whether her Iaigiri was dodged or blocked, she knew there was only one chance. Her eyes were widened as she tried to focus killing intent to strike Kazuto down, as if he were an enemy, as if she were trying to harm him with all the capability she had to her disposal.

NAME: Kinobori no Waza [Act of Tree Climbing]

RANK: D

CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low

CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [General]

ELEMENT: None

DESCRIPTION:

An advanced genin level technique, it serves as a means to both enhance chakra control when mastered as well as a means to change one's advantages on the battlefield. By applying chakra to the soles of the feet, the shinobi gains the ability to walk and stand on vertical surfaces or even upside down.

NAME: Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique]

RANK: D

CHAKRA USAGE: Low

CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [General]

ELEMENT: None

DESCRIPTION:

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion.

NAME: Iaigiri - [Iai Beheading]

RANK: C

CHAKRA USAGE: Low

CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu

ELEMENT: N/a

DESCRIPTION:

The user performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword, appearing almost like a blur, in order to cur the intended target before immediately resheating the blade afterwards. In the hands of the right user, this attack can even cut clean through a boulder.

Prepared:
NAME: Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu [Wood Release: Cutting Technique]

RANK: C

CHAKRA USAGE: Low

CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu

ELEMENT: Mokuton

DESCRIPTION:

A versatile technique where the user can produce sharp wooden spikes from their body to either fashion short-range weapons akin to a makeshift sword, or else use them as long-range projectiles, where the branches' growth can be triggered remotely, skewering the enemy as a result.

Kazuto had placed a warning, he had told her to take it seriously and for the better part she had. However he had not accounted for something. As much as Minazawa would try, as much as she would try, the apparent differences of skill and ability would show and the elder of the Senju would simply have to raise his arm as he followed the falling shape of the girl as she used a kenjutsu technique that he recognized. But he also saw through the deceit that she had planned and put in motion his, aware that she hadn't detect his plans as she had been concerned in delivering nothing else than a killing blow.

The Senju shot up his arm, his skin turning hard as a torrent of blunt spears emerged from his limb, they would seek to clash against the sword, halting the movement and they would then move towards the younger Senju, delivering hammering blows that would take out the air from her lungs after a quick succession of hits. Simultaneously he would lean his head to a side, allowing the projectile of cutting wood, allowing it to pass harmlessly as it whistled through the air, stabbing itself on the frost covered soil. The Senju would release his technique, retracting and then detaching the spears, letting the girl drop to the ground.

"Not bad." He said, folding his arms before his chest. Standing tall and looking at the girl as he would allow her to pick herself off, giving her no help to raise to his feet. It was perhaps harsh, but she would need to learn to stand up on her two feet when she was put into a situation that she fought an individual that was stronger or a group of individuals. "One more time. Again, try to land a hit." He told her and returned to his own level of readiness for battle.

This jutsu had let her before cut through stone, what with great difficulty along her hands and fingers along her training, the resistance staunch, and as she came in with her blade, she had full intent on killing hi mas he had instructed. Because that was what she had to do to land even a single blow. However, her teacher here, or rather relative had been some monster that was entirely something else. His blade drawn? His power focused? It was strong and swift as his arm converted into wood. Her eyes widened at such a technique, never having seen Mokuton at such an advanced level and mass manipulation of his limbs. She had no choice. She had to assault it, do whatever she could. She had to bust through his wood with a single slash!

"HIYAI!" As her blade clashes with his wood, she hears a thunk, and for the first time, she had experienced the power of Mokuton's defensive power. It was beyond imaginable. She could cut maybe a chunk, made an indent, and with it, she knew a world of pain was coming as suddenly a barrage of wooden beams slammed her in the chest and stomach, enough to harm her, but not enough to incapacitate or end her interaction with this training here. "Gach! Gugh!" She releases her blade instinctively, and lowers her arms in a cross to guard her body as she is slammed thrice more, sending her flying backwards into the snow. This man was powerful. Quite possibly one of the greatest Senju the clan's seen in a while.

She thuds, and rolls for a moment, coughing and holding herself with a deep breath as she hears the man say it wasn't a bad attempt. To try again. With it, she takes a deep breath and knows her power's limited now. She had one more shot. "Mokuton." She focuses power and chakra into her legs and bursts off at high speed, this time appearing underneath the man as a leg goes flying upward for his face, entirely expecting the man to make minimalistic movement, utilizing the Dancing Leaf Shadow. To dodge her kick and grasp her, but with it, she has prepared a countermeasure to such. Balancing support of her body on one hand, testing her endurance and strong physical body she was born with for a Senju, she acts. Assault him!

She twists her body to avoid letting the man to easily grasp her leg, and allows her opposite leg to swing for the side of his head, and with it, she then swiftly raises her left hand towards him. "Shiratori no Jutsu!" A spear rapidly grows from her arm, looking to distract him with her leg movements whilst her hand rapidly extends as a sharpened wooden point towards his center of body, forcing the man to step backwards, surely. Even if he knocked her off balance, or caught her spear, it would continue to grow outward and pierce him slightly. In the event she successfully pulls off her maneuver, she swiftly keeps her eye sharp.

On the sharp wooden projectile that had hit the ground previously, somersaulting momentarily as her arm rapidly returns to normal, her now free arm holding a half ram sign. "Hah!" An eruption of wood from her Sashiki no Jutsu fragment, causing it to erupt into a sharp branching of wood, and with it, Minazawa Senju huffs, pushing herself to the limit, technique after technique, crouching firmly in the snow as she focuses her chakra and latent energy, waiting for that moment, to try to hit him, or to get him into the air. Shit. She realizes her folly as she knew his ninjutsu could be used at long range. She needed to prevent him from making seals but...At the same time. She realizes just how futile that effort truly is.

Kazuto awaited, standing his ground as the girl would resume his attack for what seemed to be one last time, at the very least in this spar. There was some flame in her eyes and he appreciated that. At the very least she was trying and as she prepared her attack. For her peers it would be something incredible, breathtaking even. But the Senju himself saw it for what it was, he took a step back giving himself space to avoid for her attack. Once she appeared beneath him, in the expected blind spot, simply dodging the first strike, not even bothering to seize her by her foot, or entrapping her by some form of technique. Simply allowing her carry her momentum.

The Senju turned around, his feet sliding over the frost covered soil, dust and snow flecks. His Teal-Green eyes finding the shape of the single spear emerging from her hand and arm, shooting forward attempting to lunge at him. Even with her strength that could be dangerous, it could impale him and cause danger. Allowing his muscle memory to act, the Senju would extend the fingers of his hand, Abruptly a blue eddie appeared swirling above his hand as he stood his ground, an orb barely visible appeared with the faint sound of wind becoming a vortex audible above the sound of feet over the soul and wood emerging from flesh.

He was careful, only using the minimum of power to not harm her. The spear would meet the orb, the single piercing point of the spear clashing against the spiral of energy, a bright light would blossom in the midst of the training yard, splinters would fly as the spear was destroyed, left asunder and sending the girl flying albeit without much damage. Kazuto stood as the dust settled looking for the girl, undaunted by her attacks.

She had thought for sure in that moment she had got him, knowing her violent assault wouldn’t let him form seals for a jutsu, and ultimately, she knew with a thrust, her spear extending, surely she could at least touch him. What happened next filled her with awe, but equally with pride as she had struck forward with the Shiratori no Jutsu. When she saw the blue orb spinning, rapidly whirling about, she could feel a resistance, and if it wasn’t for the snow, she might have felt her shoulder twist and shatter, her arm grunting and resisting the push as her spear ground and broke from the twist. She found herself being twisted into the snow from the force, a thud as she pants, wondering what the hell that jutsu was. What was it that required no handseals?

She wasn’t hurt, but she had to look on with a slight pant, her eyes tired and shaded as she slowly rises to her feet, her body numb, and she realized just what a disadvantageous situation she was in with her difference in skill, experience, and arsenal. She firmly then looked on ahead, her eyes sharp however as she looked on ahead, wondering just how powerful Kazuto truly was. She was nearing her limit, and as she felt the bruises slowly forming from the assault of blunted wooden spears, she tried to take a deep breath and remain calm on every regard.

"You’re worlds apart from me…” She says in reverence, but with it, she firmly takes the liberty to ask a deep question, something to consider for likely the rest of her life with his answer depending on what it was he might tell her now. "In a situation like this? What is it that a girl like me should do? Or rather...I suppose the better question is. How should a Shinobi die? Facing their enemy head on? Or to die like a coward in attempt to escape.” She knew that attempting to outrun someone like Kazuto would be impossible really, but all the same. She felt as if she were an enemy, she would have great desire to attempt to try.

His piercing green and teal eyes looked hardened, not an inch of softness to them, or rather, perhaps that wasn’t the case. No, more as if. There was no warmth or joy to those eyes. Only a serious stoicness due to a wound that would likely never heal. To be frank, she knew that she would never be able to even help that wound heal as far as he was aware. Yet, she would also then take the liberty to note the next question. "Should a Shinobi do anything, and everything in their power to procure and obtain victory?” It was time to see what Kazuto’s ideals and ideologies were when it came down to the matter of his Shinobi way and work ethic.

It might decide her next actions here after all...

Ultimately, it would seem as if the young Minazawa never really did get the answer she was looking for. It would be something she would have to find out for herself over the years, but that was perhaps for the better. She needed to mold her own identity and beliefs as a Kunoichi, as a ninja of Konoha. Though humbled by the experience, and glad to have been able to exercise a small myriad of Mokuton; the young girl would head back home, reflective of her experience and the memories of today. She got to see the extent of skill that was expected of a Jonin, one of the greatest Jonin at that of the village.

Something to strive towards she supposed. Though, as she imagined, the only way she would ever find the answer to that difficult question of hers was to reach that perilous situation. To be pushed to the extents where she might find her life in absolute danger. Bowing her head respectfully, she'd take her leave then to polish her skills. After all, just as she said, the differences between Minazawa's skill and Kazuto's was as wide as the gap between heaven and earth. Worlds apart. Only time could tell if she'd advance much further then.
