Life goes on without stopping. Poverty brings hunger which brings temptation. A black flower blooms when blood falls from tender flesh. Heinous actions are taken so that if one gains another loses. Those individuals who could not stand remaining hungry took from others more than food or money, but their very lives. Was this to suppress their own pain or simply for pleasure? Whatever the case they took more than needed.

Hemp bonds were tightly fastened around wrists and ankles. Cloth covering eyes prevented her from seeing. All Aoi knew was the familiar feeling of hard, moist wood and cold wind chill and razor sharp. Uncomfortable, painful, wind stung skin while lungs burned. Both nose and mouth were previously filled with ash causing her to cough up black mucus. Aoi’s shoulders lowered rose and rotated. No matter how she moved getting comfortable was impossible. But worse than that was the cries of others nearby.

She heard the voice of a male, followed by the sound of an object hitting something soft. "I said be quiet!” The voice demanded. Cries lowered to little more than a whimper. The sound of several foot steps on wood floor, one coming closer. A great pain came from being held up by her hair. "Iy-ga” A hand stroked her blackened, soot covered, face. "Such a pretty little thing. She’ll go for a high price. Although-" Smacking lips, she could only guess what he was thinking as she let out a small cry as her face was licked.

"Cut it out.” Another, more gruff, voice spoke up. "Aw mon’ man. It isn’t like they can tell if we have some...fun.” She coughed in his face, causing him to toss her against a wall. The concussive force caused her to lose breathe. But there was no time to recover as his boot connected hard against her stomach. " I said cut it out!” The younger man responded. "What, it’ll be good if she cannot… well, you know.” Cold, hungry eyes looked down at the bruised and battered girl. Though the blind loosened, and she could barely see his scarred face, her body could only shiver.

A feminine voice came from one masked ninja. This marked her as someone who was young, possibly in her early twenties. "How long till they arrive?" Her tone was soft and worrisome. Folded arms were squeezed by her hands. "It shouldn't be much longer Sister..." The brother's voice was serious but also agitated as well. His sharp eyes suddenly widened. "Uh...be right back." Metaphorical sweat began pouring from his face as he began sideways scooting away holding his stomach. The sister's head lowered, forehead resting against palm.

"This is what you get for always eating spicy food before a mission." She hissed. He pointed at her as he scooted away. "At least I don't hog the bathroom." She retorted. "And I don't leave the seat wet or up! " His cheek twitched as his eye balls seemingly nearly came out of his head. "I don't have time for this." So he slid around the side of the building to take care of business in tall grass."

Ikari was by no means normally fit for the situation at hand. This was in no ones mind her mission, but instead she was tagging along her father. A means to better learn the weapon she'd one day handle, but also an important mission to take seriously. Though with the Kyobona seriousness wasn't particularly a strong suit, the two blondes would be under the command of one male brunette. Like her father he too wore a mask of the hunter-nin, leaving him relatively faceless to her.

"Where are these bastard, Saito?! I'm getting bored following the trail." Kunio would ask somewhat aggressively as he'd kick a piece of charred wood. They'd be at the scene where the kidnapping and fire had taken place, they'd be not too far off the trail of those committing the heinous acts. Though they'd not be on top of them either, it'd be this Saito characters job to do the actual search. He was however a sensor type and was supposedly sensing through the mist or something? Ikari didn't understand or really care.

The girl was quite young and her fathers sense of patience as well as demeanor greatly influenced her mood. A look of are we there yet on her pale face, her red eyes childishly piercing the distance for some unseen prey. "These guys actually pretty dangerous?" Ikari had to ask looking over the damage left in their wake.

"Anyone can start a fire." Her father quickly replied, as a discern sigh came from Saito. Kunio was certainly taking the situation lightly and likely irresponsibly, but he was a man known for these things. His daughters safety seemingly unable to effect that state of mind either. She was still rather frail due to her age, but still packed sizable weapons. As well as armed herself with robust confidence, as she'd adjust the headband on her head.

"Multiple targets, they've split up and stopped. It's the time to strike, I'll go for the outliers and you'll go for the hostages." The sensor would finally decipher for the group, he'd then raise one hand over his shoulder. A few gestures made and the berserker mk.1 would nod, then quickly signal Ikari to follow him. As the two would head out to where the captured would be held.

Uh, so what's the actual scene of the hold up? And how many are directly there?

Forested wetland - a swamp. The area spanned onwards for at least the size of a small village. There were multiple spots of dry-land protrusions, covered by aquatic vegetation. Between them fresh algae covered water. In some spots a person could stand knee deep and still be taken by what possible dangers lie underneath. Other spots so deep they connected to underwater caves. Trees both thick and thin forever rotting yet also growing long adapted to this state of decay and life. Multiple old buildings were scattered about with rotting plank bridges between.

Once a thriving place for doctors or hunters, over time it became home to low lives and criminals. Though eventually being left behind nearly completely. None lived here yet, at times, people had used it for hiding. Such was the case today with four people.

A shaken Aoi could make out the one who previously stuck her as a young man with thin brown hair. The older was in his fifties with graying beard and receding hairline. She couldn’t see the other two who stood guard outside. The two inside were dressed in casual wear of white padded shirts and brownish and blue pants with old flak jackets. The two outside had masks covering face and head, dressed full black from head to toe.

A feminine voice came from one masked ninja. This marked her as someone who was young, possibly in her early twenties. "How long till they arrive?" Her tone was soft and worrisome. Ikari and her father moved quickly to the village, it'd not be loud movement. The man leading his daughter down the quietest path, a mostly solid and jagged path. It was less about covering ground and covering it with the least noise possible. This was what it meant to be a hunter-nin, it was a role the girl didn't fit and the man wasn't best, but he was honed in the art enough to pull it off.

Arriving a distance which put the holding home up to the two's site, the man would gesture for them to stop. They'd take to a hiding behind a bush among the scenery. "There's definitely multiple bodies in that building, at least two outside, there's no way these aren't the guys." The man would state quickly scanning the different directions to go. He point out down what looked like a dry path. "Go that path around and sneak into the building, I'll go get their attention." There was no real place for Ikari in a fight, but she had the tools if necessary.

"Easy." She'd have to do the sneaking, so with a quick nod to her father she'd charge out. Her pace was more along that of a run, but she had gotten a fair eye for what to step on. She knew she needed to take the path that wouldn't make a noise, her ears trying to focus to the direction of the building. Gross sounds to follow, but noises to cover her tracks. People talking and some turning with in the building, a list of distractions.

Her father waiting for her to be almost at the building would come out from his hiding. He'd with a very bold and almost slow stride head for the man relieving himself, as though to give them time to pant up again. "Talk about shitty timing aye?!" The man yelled out in an audible tone for the male shinobi. He'd lift both axe and hammer into the air, clapping them together to loudly clank metal. Attempting to call forth the attention of all of those outside and inside the building.

Ikari would use this time to mount the building the prisoners were held captive, she'd use it's dilapidated state to her advantage. As she'd sneak in through a whole created by rot at one of the corners, allowing her to sneak up onto the rafts above all those in the building. She'd creep waiting to see how the two reacted to her fathers war cry. She hoped at least one would leave, she doubted herself to kill two possible shinobi. Maybe they were nobodies dragged along.

Sorry, I took forever. x~x'
