❄ Yukigakure | Chūnin+ NAME: Ranmantaru Kunai RANK: C CLASSIFICATION: Offensive DESCRIPTION:
A black dagger — about the length of one's hand, shaped somewhat like a trowel — with a handle wrapped in bandages and a circular end. Kunai generally are designed for thrusting and stabbing, but can be thrown as a projectile as well. Using it as ranged weapon, shinobi can attach an explosive tag to the blade through the loop at the end of the handle. ABILITIES:
Ranmantaru Steel These kunai, while similar in appearance to the standard ones, are forged with Ranmantaru steel. This makes them much sharper and much more durable than a regular blade. They can cut through all unenhanced cloth and leather armor and even, with enough strength behind them, can leave dents in stone and steel. It take quite a bit of force to snap a ranmantaru weapon, and probably can't be done if the opposite weapon is not enhanced in some manner.
NAME: Ranmantaru Shuriken RANK: C CLASSIFICATION: Offensive DESCRIPTION:
The shuriken are sharpened, four-pronged metal stars, useful for throwing. They can also be used for close combat, but not very efficiently. Although small, they can be used to distract, pin down enemy shinobi, or, if accurate enough, kill or incapacitate an enemy. They have an open circle in the centre, useful for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also beneficial to the weapon's overall aerodynamics, ensuring more accurate trajectories. ABILITIES:
Ranmantaru Steel While similar in appearance to the standard ones, these shuriken are forged with Ranmantaru steel. It makes them incredibly sharp and able to cut through all forms of unenhanced cloth and leather armors with ease. If a shinobi is able to but enough strength behind them, these shuriken are durable enough to leave dents in stone and steel without losing their sharpness.
