APPEARANCE:

Kage is a small bipedal chameleon summon that's less than a foot tall when standing straight up, and whenever he isn't altering the color of his scales the majority of his body is a blue-green hue with bright maroon scales on the top of his head. Unlike most summons that walk around completely naked, Kage wears a pair of reddish brown gloves and a navy band of cloth around his neck. He also carries around a walking stick that's about the same height as he is with a glowing piece of amber roughly tied onto one end.

PERSONALITY:

Kage is an incredibly relaxed individual, and he's almost always willing to help his summoner in combat situations. He would never stand aside and let one of the people that signed his contract die; however, he doesn't take too kindly to being summoned outside of these dire life or death situations. Kage is starting to get to that age where he needs to find a mate to pass on his genetics, and honestly being a runt means that he has to put a lot of his time into attracting another chameleon.

Whenever he's summoned outside of a combat situation, he'll constantly complain about how the whole thing is a waste of his time and how the summoner is interrupting his natural life as a lizard. Kage will still begrudgingly help, but his complaining often means it's probably just better to summon one of the lesser lizards in those situations.

ABILITIES:

[Massive Chakra Reserves]: As is the case for nearly all sages, Kage has been gifted since birth with incredibly large reserves of chakra. The amount of chakra at Kage's disposal is immense and seems to be way too large considering the summon's diminutive size; despite being 1 foot tall, this little chameleon has more chakra than even some of the summons that are large enough to dwarf buildings. As a result, Kage can utilize multiple costly jutsu back to back without putting much of a dent in his reserves.

[Master Sage]: Despite not being all that old, Kage has a natural proclivity for Senjutsu and is one of two master sages belonging to the lizard contract. His level of expertise with gathering natural chakra is incredible, allowing him to gather 40 rotations of sage mode for every rotation he remains still; this also makes him an incredible sage companion, since he can act like a high powered battery and help any sage he latches onto to maintain sage mode with ease.

[Camouflage]: As a chameleon Kage is capable of turning invisible at the drop of a pin, just like his younger brother Mū. While this can allow Kage to easily move around the battlefield without being spotted, the real advantage of being able to turn invisible is that no one can see him while he's sitting still and gathering natural chakra. Of course, this doesn't stop other forms of sensory, but it's still a massive boon when in the heat of battle.

[Sensory]: Due to being completely in touch with the natural energy flowing all around him, Kage is naturally capable of sensing any living creature within 500 feet; and when Kage is given an opportunity to focus purely on sensing other creatures, he can extend his sensory range to approximately 5km. Despite his high level of expertise, Kage cannot focus on extending his sensory range while he's gathering natural chakra.
