Naruto: Fallen Blades' Semiannual Chūnin Exams!

Round 2:
Survival Assessment

Setting:
Set deep within the darkest reaches of Fire Countries forest, rumour of cannibals and nightmarish creatures are rampant. Competitors managed to survive being entombed... But the challenges are just getting started.

Competitors have 12 hours to reach the rally point, [20 IC posts]*, all of yours skills are at your arsenal - but so are fellow competitors. A discerning shinobi trusts his comrades, but a smarter one is also wary of newcomers. Who do you trust? And do you trust them enough to get to the rally point with them? After all, you might be pitted against them in the next exam.

Can you navigate the darkest depths of the forest at night with no idea of where you are? Do you dare use jutsu that gives away your location or will the creatures become attracted to your noise? Decisions, decisions.

Good night, good luck.

Rules:

1) All performances are recorded and assessed by staff with our own set of assessment criteria to meet. You are being judged on your characters' survival skills, not how bad ass they are.

2) All exam portions are DE, as any Chuunin Exam is. Mods are watching and will make any final decision on whether there is a fatality, not the members involved.

3) It goes without saying that mod rulings are final. Continued objections will result in disqualification from the exams.

4) Characters do not know where they are in terms of location, once entered into the assessment area the region is massive. No suddenly having a sixth sense about where to go, things will end badly if Bob Uchiha suddenly sees the rally point.

5) Mods participating [Aika and Yoshi] will be giving gentle options and hints as to where to go, you won't be completely clueless, but ultimately the choice is yours where to go.

*20 IC Rounds are subjective, since there are three maps to cross but some are shorter than others.
