Midori watched as the winds literally yanked Akira from the air instantly, pulling him towards the clone with extreme speeds and force that could quite actually end trees at the trunk with little effort. In the suctions wake, Akira would attempt to use another fuuton jutsu to try and shoot himself towards the ground faster, but fortunately enough for the sage the wind that would be used to push him downwards would get lost and sucked into the vacuum of wind that was already being pulled towards the clone, which means the direction in which he was traveling would not change drastically. The clone would grab ahold of Akira as the winds died down unless he managed to escape, ashes and leaves would swirl as they were also pulled towards the clone. Midori’s hair would swoosh and finally drop back down to her back as the winds finally ran their course.

With a stomp of her foot, stone would erupt from the earth and wrap itself around Akira’s body, rendering him immobile until he found the strength to escape. He had done it before in their last training session, Midori was sure he could do it again. But until then, Jugo and the two Midori’s would continue to gather nature chakra. Midori would slowly and hesitantly approach her target, refusing to make eye contact, she even hesitated to look at his hands even though they were both sectioned off from one another, which meant he would not be able to use hand seals. Midori wasn’t going for any of the Akira’s genjutsu tricks..not this time.

Midori was Akira’s teacher, which meant he could in no way benefit at all from her not giving it her all, in fact the woman would be doing him a disservice if anything. She was making this challenging for the man for obvious reasons. She was trying to touch over each and every basis, from diversions to creating distance, classic misdirections, and just out right confusing him. These were the tactics he had to expect from his opponents in battle.

Midori would take a few steps away from Satori, closing her eyes and sighing a bit as she gingerly pulled her injured arm from its sling. Opening and closing her palm to test how much pain was there. It was tender to the touch, but it wasn’t as bad as before. A sigh escaped her lips as she took a deep breath.

"Don’t let your current situation say otherwise, you’re doing well.”

The woman would say with a serious tone to her soft voice. She expected the man to kick it up a notch once he got free, which was why she freed her dominant arm from all restrictions, she couldn’t let anything get in her way. If the injured arm got hit, then so be it, she was a tough one, but in all honesty she was expecting to take a lick once Akira freed himself from the bounds in which held him tight, restricting his movements. If the lady remember correctly after the first tail, came the second tail in which quite literally heated things up. She had all of the tails up until the fourth analyzed, from her last encounter with Kukou. Even with so much action taking place in a short span of time, she couldn’t help but feel as if the battle was only just getting started.

Midori tapped into her intelligence when she began spending more time with her mother rather than her father. She began to become much smarter, learning behind the ways of Karin, she was taught everything she needed to know. She was always quite intelligent, she just needed it to be defined.

This ability allows Midori to analyze situations and come up with multiple solutions and different outcomes at an alarming rate. It also allows her to persuade and negotiate with people who are tough to crack.

Superior Chakra Reserves
Inheriting her chakra pool from both her parents, Midori has one of the largest chakra reserves in all of the shinobi nations. This pool of chakra allows her to perform many jutsus without running out as quick as the average shinobi. She is considered top tier compared to other elite shinobi.

Reduced Handseals
Midori taught herself how to reduce the amount of handseals required to perform certain jutsus. Midori can do even the most advanced doton jutsus with only one handseal. For other elements she can reduce the amount needed in a fraction.

PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT,

It seemed though his initial confrontation wouldn't go down like he wanted it to, and he would pull out a Kunai to throw it at her: but a simple dodge would be necessary for her to avoid its danger. Though, in the future he would reflect on the memory and realize he could've sent a lot more danger her way, caused by her own doing if it was a pulling technique.

He could struggle, but even as she'd grabbed him - his ability to react was limited faster than what she could under simply stomping her foot, and he would wriggle to see what different directions he could escape from. For naught. She did seem impressed with his performance, despite how quick it had been.

"Thanks." Akira stared at her, but she was not giving him the time of day and was giving him the time nor day to apply any of his other Genjutsu. A smart move: one that would not usually be taken for someone unaware of his own abilities.

He did appreciate that she was taking it seriously, freeing up her second arm to fight with. It was still frustrating to lose to a one handed person, but there was also a numbers advantage. But she still was only using a single arm. Frustrating.

But Akira had to accept it for the moment, he wasn't at her level, at the end of it. He would take a deep breath in as his body strained against the new earthen restraints. If they were metal: they would've been screeching. The aid of the chakra cloak only added to his strength. Had the woman not been such a master in Doton - and an Elite Jonin, the shackles would've been off in seconds, but it was never just that easy.

There was a reason, and method, to his madness.

It was a second explosion that shrouded over Akira's form, the one that he had warned her about: one that she had seen preceding his eventual loss of control a year prior, but not with quite as a grisly appearance as she had fully seen - his body and appearance were lost in the cloak, hidden. His body grow larger, taller: breaking through the earthen shackles despite their strong consistency, the cloak eating away at the restraints as his strength broke through it, debris scurrying across the battleground.

Even his head had formed into that of a horse, horns reminiscent of the Bijuu itself: eyes demonic and fluttering in size and shape as it stood there.

Just like any person, they would find themselves being terrified by the new, dense chakra filling the battleground. The floor cracked- spiralling along in endless different directions, Akira's initial and immediate presence dropping a few inches as it created a crater around him. Normally much deeper: it was showing of restraint unlike what she had seen before. Akira was much calmer... for what it could be said, there was more stillness to his form, indicative of a better control. It was also to show that he could monitor his own level of tails- in the time he'd spent flickering between the 'stages' as it were.

The shrouded Shinobi would cross its arms, happy to stand there and to wait. That was because chakra arms, some eight of them about the size of actual fists would protrude from the form and split down the middle, both aiming to capture the Sage in their own right. It wasn't recommended given how it burned, and that was something that Akira didn't even know he could try to control - it was doing something very similar to him, even as he stood there. They were jointless, and effectively limbless for the most part: if one were cut, it would dissipate through into the air, if they moved: it would follow. Akira was happy to show off how far he'd come.

『Third Tail』
As the third tail sprouts, the closer Akira loses gets to losing the will to be passive. Physical manifestations are nearly identical to Kokuō, but in a compacted size. The eyeholes where Kokuō would see are entirely white and if he didn't look demonic before, the vibrating sizes and varying shape the eyes take are enough to spook even veteran shinobi.

The immediate noticing affect is there being a shockwave of chakra that cracks the earth around Akira, creating a crater in the surrounding vicinity. The chakra cloak is now enveloped: you can no longer see Akira within the mass of chakra. Projectiles of all kinds begin to melt before they can even reach Akira's core. Akira's durability and speed increases with no additional increase of strength.

DESCRIPTION:
When a Tailed Beast or Jinchuuriki taps reaches into their Version 1 Chakra Cloak, they are capable of using the bubbling chakra which surrounds them as an extension of their body. These chakra appendages can be freely manipulated for almost an infinite distance as a result of its lack of joints. Additionally, they can surge at opponents at speeds that even Sharingan masters have trouble reacting to. These appendages can grow in size and form, but only those who have control of at least half of their tails (majority of tails, if Bijuu has uneven number of tails) or Version 2 Chakra Cloaks can create any number of chakra arms they desire from any part of their body. Just like the original chakra arms, these extra arms can be used as grappling hooks, for grabbing opponents/objects, defense, or offensively. Unlike the original arms, these chakra arms are much thicker, and darker as a result of Version 2's advanced nature. For those who have minimal control, all chakra arms will always cause burns to those who contact them. (can be made cool for those with good amount of control). In the case of the Ichibi Jinchuuriki, these chakra arms will be in the form of sand.

Midori would nod as Akira thanked her for the praise. He was in a tough situation, but she always had faith in him, regardless she knew what he was capable of. Looking out of the corner of her eyes she watched to see how the man would respond, and it was breathtaking. His body began to transform, he began to grow taller and his head would begin to shift into that of a horse. She would take a deep breath, she knew what this form was, all of her previous memories flooded her mind as she stood in the presence of Akira in this state. The power was strong enough to break the earth style bind that was placed on him, snapping them into pieces. The grow beneath him would cave in, creating a crater, kicking up rocks and dirt. That was power if she had ever seen it, but it was controlled, it wasn’t erratic like the last time. The force and power would cause Midori’s hair to be carried by the wind.

"From one tail, to three. Impressive.”

The lady would say as she shielded her eyes from flying debris. Once the commotion had settled, Midori stood tall among the version of Akira that had left a vivid image in her mind from their last encounter. This time, she was much more confident, and she did not show any signs of fear. Instead the woman smiled as her brown eyes laid on the transformed Akira.

"I have to give it to you, you have come so far, I am proud.”

Midori would think to herself as her eyes remained fixed on the many chakra arms that Akira was creating. The chakra was so dense, it was a lot heavier than before. She would have to kick it up to the top notch if she wanted to provide a challenge for the man, and so she entered her sage mode at last, the transformation was instantaneous. As her clone poofed away, a single hand seal would be formed instinctively and 3 giant hands of stone would shoot from the earth with incredible speeds, 2 of which would grab at the chakra arms, 4 in each hand hoping they would dissipate, the third hand would erupt underneath Akira grabbing him fiercely and elevating him high into the sky, attempting to slam and pin him to the earth with enough force that could cause a mini earthquake in the surrounding area, if everything went as planned, a huge cloud of dirt and debris would fill the air and another crater would be seen in the earth, next to the one Akira himself created.

Midori mastered Sage art in 11 years. Being intune with nature since she was a young girl, she began her training when she was 17 years old. Midori is a Perfect Sage and gets 40 rounds of sage power per every round of stillness. These powers include:

If wounds are sustained they usually only stay around for a minute or so before being completely healed. Although she can not regrow limbs if they are severed from her body, she can however heal deep/life threatening wounds rather quickly (except wounds to the heart and/or brain). - Impenetrable Skin:
A unique ability only known to the Great Ape Sage and students of him, Midori’s skin becomes nigh impenetrable, hardened much to the likes of steel. The only known thing that is capable of piercing the sage’s skin is chakra enhanced weapons. [Active]

Another unique ability only known to those who train under the Great Ape Sage, those with sage powers often have their Doton effectiveness and proficiencies multiplied. DESCRIPTION:
The user forms six hand seals before stomping their foot on the ground. Underneath their opponent sprouts a grouping of arms that reach up and pin the opponent to the ground. This jutsu can be used to subdue one person or if they pours more chakra into it, they can subdue a medium sized group (About ten to twenty), the hands can come from anywhere within sixty yards of the user. The stone hands are reinforced with the user's chakra and are insanely hard to break out of. The user has full control over the hands and can use them to hold their opponent fast or even squeeze said opponent to death if they want. If they choose to kill their opponent the hands act much like boa constrictors, breaking the opponents bones and pressing them into the earth.

PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT,

Midori had been learning about Akira's fighting style: and that was fair enough, but the same could be said of the Jinchūriki. Though, Akira wasn't sure who'd come out on top if they went in to eachother, blindly fighting as enemies: without any clue of what the other did. She had something that vastly many didn't have: an aide to Genjutsu. If it were a group, or squadron of Shinobi it would be an entirely different matter, but for the most part those who worked alone tended to not fair as well to Akira.

The woman's style (so far) was that of restriction: Doton based, and strong Doton as well. For what it was worth, Akira was still learning. Given the woman's sage background, and absolute mastery of the Doton element would be more than enough to stifle the four arms, and they merged together to become a single pair rather than four separate ones but he wasn't done there, because when they stopped the two separate arms: four more grew from either two hands to run down the woman.

An arm burst from the ground, and stopping any attack that Akira might've had, picking him up and slamming him into the ground, as it were unexpected. The arms themselves dissipated: and the two arms would find themselves also sprawling forward if Midori didn't stop them: there was no force to fight against. But where he was pinned down - squirmed himself free from breaking one of the fingers of the earthen hand and breaking away from it.

The force against him was devastating: the area themselves creating noise that would penetrate through the cold region of Iwagakure no Sato. Much louder than those other people training: something was going down.

And yet, in the now flying debris, and everything coming up: a blur subsisted through it and towards her on all fours: the Jinchuuriki, apparently undamaged from the attack jumped up and into the air: though not apparently bothered by the attack that befell him: two large, chakra arms in that had laced together to create a hammer attack that would land down on the woman's location if she didn't move.

As the stone cold hands of earth wrapped around the multiple arms that Akira had created, Midori would notice that they would morph together into a single pair of arms, much larger than before. In addition, more chakra arms were created, the lady would jump around trying to keep her distance. While that was going on, Akira was in the air, making his return to the earth below. A mighty slam would return his to the stone canvas with enough force to shake the immediate area, as well as cause another crater into the ground below.

Watching as the cloud of dust and debris filled the air, a fiery entity would emerge from the dust cloud with a purpose. He managed to get himself free from the hand by breaking one of the fingers of which laid on top of him. Running on all fours, a blur would be seen by most elite shinobi, normal shinobi would not see him at all, but Midori had no troubles watching him dash through the debris at amazing speed, she would track him with great detail. Once upon her, Akira would leap into the air, lacing two chakra arms together that were meant to come crashing down on top of Midori’s head. Her eyes watched closely as she analyzed instantaneously. He was looking to pack a punch, and he was becoming much more aggressive with his style of attack, he wanted to prove himself.

Midori had limited time to work with, as the chakra arms came hammering down with great speed and force, it would appear to Akira that the strike had landed, but Midori would disappear at the last possible second and would reappear a few meters away. The strike would cause yet another dust cloud to take to the air, leaving the ground beneath it shattered. In the cloud Midori would form a few hand seals, taking and holding air within her gullet, and letting the powerful winds push away both Akira and the cloud of debris. The wind would be powerful to cause massive damage to both Akira and the area surrounding him.

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion

If the technique is used by someone who has mastered wind nature transformation, the blast can hit a vast range, inflicting massive damage on both the target and their surroundings.

PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT,

Akira couldn't quite tell with the intermixing feedback of the huge arms if he had actually hit her or not. As far as he was concerned, he had. But like his growing fear of dust clouds, mists and all forms of obstruction of vision, he was concerned at exiting the dust cloud that he himself had created.

He would move to Midori's last known position where his hands had crushed down upon while his arms lingered in the air, connected to the ethereal broil of chakra around him. His sense of the sound was the first thing to alarm him, immediately proceeding a wind: and there was not much that Akira could do to combat the outbreak of wind which was effectively almost a point blank range - Akira had the aid of it on his side, and instead of fighting against it (or of being the sound logic to move downward) and his lack of defensive techniques meant that he would simply go with the flow.

Pressing harshly into his muscles to jump backward and letting the wind take him: but it also meant that he would fly through a tree, crunching through the branches and trunks - but otherwise relatively unscathed from the safety of his chakra cloak.

So she wasn't harmed, or at least not enough to be out of the fight.

Everything had cleared out now to a full battlefield, where Akira now had to return to their arena, he stood himself up after having barrelled through the scenery which had been effectively shredded, trees that had been there for potentially decades having been ruined. Unfortunately, Akira was significantly more hardy than in his previous forms.

So he would rise, clear battlefield, in clear view of Midori. But he wasn't ready to stop: but he took a moment to scrunch around his body, working out the kinks in his body. His mind was feeling the faint pull of anger that he was used to in these forms, but he held a better grasp of it.


"It's not you, calm down.." Akira could hear his own voice as he spoke with intensity.

Well. It wasn't over yet.

When a Tailed Beast or Jinchuuriki taps reaches into their Version 1 Chakra Cloak, they are capable of using the bubbling chakra which surrounds them as an extension of their body. These chakra appendages can be freely manipulated for almost an infinite distance as a result of its lack of joints. Additionally, they can surge at opponents at speeds that even Sharingan masters have trouble reacting to. These appendages can grow in size and form, but only those who have control of at least half of their tails (majority of tails, if Bijuu has uneven number of tails) or Version 2 Chakra Cloaks can create any number of chakra arms they desire from any part of their body. Just like the original chakra arms, these extra arms can be used as grappling hooks, for grabbing opponents/objects, defense, or offensively. Unlike the original arms, these chakra arms are much thicker, and darker as a result of Version 2's advanced nature. For those who have minimal control, all chakra arms will always cause burns to those who contact them. (can be made cool for those with good amount of control). In the case of the Ichibi Jinchuuriki, these chakra arms will be in the form of sand.

Midori watched as the cloud of dirt and debris filled the area again, but under the cause of Akira’s destructive power. The chakra arms caused a significant amount of damage to the are, but luckily enough the sage managed to slip away from them before she got caught up in that debris as well. The wind she shot from her mouth would clear the field of all the dust and debris, arguably creating more as it seemingly swept the man off of his feet, sending him crashing into a tree, breaking it in his wake.

It was safe to say that the wind carried Akira far away from the battlefield in one fell swoop. It had managed to clear out the entire area as well. Midori rotated her arm in a circular motion, the very arm that was injured just moments prior, was completely healed the instant she underwent her sage transformation. A wonderful plus to the art if you ask Midori.

Her eyes returned to Akira however as she looked at him from across the way. She could lay her abilities on him heavy, but was hesitant to do so, his chakra was beginning to become much more demonic, if only for just a bit. She was able to sense it, so she decided to postpone her attacks.

"How are you holding up, Akira? Speak to me.”

She would say loud enough for the man to hear her even across such a distance. She was concerned, but if he said it was nothing then she would not argue with him. But then again she didn’t want him losing control, not again. She would also allow him to attack first, if he decided to continue.

His body popped and cracked from the bubbling of the shroud as he assessed his injuries. Not bad enough to not continue.

When Midori asked him how he was feeling, there was a slight achievement to the question that he was strong enough to maintain clarity. But it would be less obvious to Midori who would see the shrouded Akira's (not visible) head tilt as he contemplated the question.

Akira would respond, giving a thumbs up as best he could with his elongated form. "I have a bit more left in me!" Akira was feeling the affects the shroud took on his mind. It brought to mind the nature of the beholder of which chakra he was using.

Akira didn't want to stop just yet- not when he'd agreed with Kokuo to stop. Prove that he didn't need it. His body would sway until his body jolted forward and onto all fours.

Akira would rush again, speed enhanced by Kokuo - nothing that Midori wouldn't be able to see. But his movements were noticeably trickier, zigzagging from left to right randomly, entirely focused on avoiding any restraints and techniques that could be used to keep him down and out.

That's what he would do. Evade and evade until he was in Taijutsu range. Until then.

Midori stood calmly, yet ready to react just incase Akira was losing himself in the tailed beast’s chakra. She knew that it could be overwhelming, but he was doing a great job so far, and he was controlling it rather well. She was glad to see that his efforts were paying off, even if it was little by little, bit by bit. A smile grew on her face as her eyes remained fixed on the fiery chakra. He managed to give a thumbs up - as best as he could - as he replied to Midori. It appeared he still had a lot of fight in him. The will of stone was evident.

Midori watched as Akira shot from his position, moving at speeds that normal elite ranked jounin would struggle with, the sage on the other hand was ready, watching and anticipating. She would widen her stance as she took a deep breath. ‘Bring it.’ The Lady would think to herself with a grin, Akira was trying to get into taijutsu range, however she was ready for anything he had to throw at her, and so she would take off in a blinding blur as well, looking to meet the man in the middle. As she made way, Midori would form a handseal and earth armor would begin to encase her as she ran, and we she got close enough the woman would form a mallet with the stone from her hand, swinging it horizontally, hoping to land a hit on Akira.

Akira was also clever enough, though his control was waning to evaluate the situation as it unfurled. In what would've simply been an attack on Midori's self, was a forming earthen armor: and so he'd need to react differently.

Akira didn't shy from her own engagement, and the zig zag pattern would tighten up rather than being as erratic as they grew closer: and would instead gun for the weapon in the woman's hand, dropping his head down - two rows of horns - one larger, one smaller protruding from the shroud that were every bit as real as they could be described: and Akira would aim to simply break through the mallet - it would have no affect on him without a higher reason to it.

It could be described as a labour of love: a unique relationship was speed and durability, Kokuō's horns and his speed for its own set of attacks. But he would also twist his head, in what would be another attack. If the mallet had been left intact would get caught somewhere between all the different horns and spin out of her hand, or break off her armour if it was attached. If it had already been broken, it was to dig his feet into the ground properly and just... headbutt the sage.

Nothing special to it, it would be a headbutt with the full power of his strength, creating small craters and cracks in the ground as he did so - muscles waning under the strength of his chakra shroud.

[attr="class","monbody"] Midori watched closely as Akira’s zig zagging movements became more and more defined as the two closer distance between one another. His movements tightened up and were less erratic than when he started. The sage knew of the ramming power that this for was presented with all to well, it had managed to send one of her strongest summons rolling after he had taken the brute force of the hit head on. However, the lady wasn’t worried much about that, she was much stronger than her summons.

The mallet formed around her hand, and when the man was in striking distance she swung with enough force to send his flying, but unfortunately the stone was caught in between his horns, twisting in an attempt to snap the stone from the armor but unfortunately it would take much more than that to break the earth that Midori used. The force would only pull the lady off balance. What followed next was a headbutt that landed perfectly to the sternum of Midori, sending her flying back, rolling across the dirt uncontrollably for a brief moment before she forced herself to her feet, the momentum still forcing her to slide backwards across the dirt. Luckily enough, the stone armor protected her from sustaining any serious injuries. It did however shatter a bit, but quickly began to reform around her body.

It sucked to see that it hadn't worked out in his mind the way he had actually expected. Akira didn't want to stop: but didn't continue an unabashed onslaught that he would've usually done. He had another idea in mind.

Akira would try and phase himself into the fourth tail: muscles and a skeleton beginning to skin over the Jinchuuriki and padding into his form, something that Midori had seen before - but would be no less unnerved by. But something more was amiss, more humanity to the beast's eyes: the duality of both human and bijuu together.

But it didn't last, because the beast would screech, and it might seem to Midori that all was lost once more: until this time, the bijuu's form began to turn into something like ash, crumbling away, changing once more - and watching further would see that in fact the Bijuu shroud was actually shrivelling away into a smaller being.

His all fours position would remain so as the shroud faded from his form slowly, as was his size and shape back into what remained of the Sp. Jonin, and Akira would be back - looking up, and then seating himself on the floor.

"I can't continue." Akira would say, breathing out.

Thank god he wasn't in the presence of an enemy.

『Fourth Tail』
In version one, visible muscles and a skeleton have begin to manifest on Akira's shroud, hulking and dangerous. In this version and onwards, Akira has lost his hands - his body structure and bones are being broken and reformed and regeneratng as he is literally being changed as the form goes on. His hands and feet are now reduced to legs and feet, yellow tipped hooves.

In version two, Akira's size has increased to that that actually looks like a horse reaching around seven foot, full in awe of Kokuō's horse/dolphin-esque appearance, only missing the skin and fur Kokuō possesses.

There is no stopping Kokuō on Akira's part now as the duality of Bijū and human are gone and Akira is resigned to watching from the jail of the Gobi.

At this point, there is a exponential increase in ramming power, speed, strength, durability that only elite shinobi or fūinjutsu users would dare approach the murderous beast. Akira is capable of using mini-bijūdamas at this point. Even now, the chakra shroud is so dense and corrosive that weapons that aren't of legendary caliber simply melt in it's vicinity.

Once Midori found her footing again, after being thrown into the dirt. She would ready herself for an attack, the stone armor was extremely helpful, but surely if she weren’t in sage mode it would have been a lot less effective in protecting her from the horns and steel solid head that Akira had drove into her stomach. Once she managed to spot the man, expecting him to continue with an onslaught, what she saw next was extremely surprising.

Akira body began to change again, this time it didn’t look so great for either of them. Muscles began to wrap and pad itself onto the cloak, and bones would begin to rest on top of the cloak itself as well.

"Fourth tail..?”

The woman would mumble to herself in slight confusion. She had faced this demonic appearance before, and while it did have her rather uneasy, there was no true fear in the woman. Her concerns were more about Akira’s well being rather than her own, seeing the aftermath of their previous encounter. The sage stood with a widened stance ready to take action at any moment. Would she have to seal the chakra? For a moment it looked as if he had managed to remain calm, but the screech the followed en-suite told a different story.

The lady began to form a few hand seals, it was time to show the reason and result behind her year long absence. She was ready to summon the statue, but ultimately Akira’s chakra began to crumble away in the wind that left him sitting on the dirt. His words warranted a smile from the sage, as she slowly approached the jounin, grabbing a seat beside him, and releasing her sage mode in the process. Her features would return back to normal.

"You did good.”

She would say with heavy breaths as the natural chakra took a bit out of her.

"Thanks." Akira would sit himself on his butt, taking the time to breathe - he seemed fine in comparison to the woman, though there was a massive difference in their own chakra levels.

Akira wasn't particularly happy with his performance in the fight. There was so much that he was doing wrong, on top of trying to master a beast that didn't want to be tamed. But there they were, and finally, Akira hadn't been subdued. There was its own little win in that he supposed, but he wanted to do so much more - their fight hadn't even been for that long. Had only a few minutes past? If that?

"I made a promise with Kokuo to not use his power for as long as I could manage it, since he seems to think I can't do without him." Akira admitted. It was a conversation that he'd had with him earlier in the day that went fruitfully, and he had fully accepted that this might've been the last time Akira was going to be using those abilities for a while.

The knuckles on his right hand would begin to rap against the ground, and Akira didn't immediately notice - his skin was burnt, ready to peel off. Akira would hiss at himself, placing one hand over the skin and sighing as he rubbed it: and with it, some of his skin, exposed and raw, close to simply being removed.

"ssssss..." The sharp intake of breath gave indication that he was uncomfortable. "But- eh," he would shift again uncomfortably. "On the bright side. I have more favour than ever with him. Provided, I keep up my end of our deal."

Akira knew that he would fail in the end and accepted it, but he had to prove that he was trying - and that he was - a capable shinobi without Kokuo. Kokuo would've never wanted to be in the situation irrespective, but now that he was, he still preferentially would've liked to be left alone.

But he looked over at Midori, at the ape - and would lean forward slightly. "You both OK?"

"No need for thanks, you earned it.”

The lady would say as she sat beside the man, surrounded by the outcome of their training. The training ground was in shambles compared to when they first started, and it seemed Midori would have to work a bit extra to try to return everything back to normal. A few doton jutsu here and there should work suffice, but as for the vegetation, well that would have to come naturally, which would take a lot longer.

"You have scary genjutsu, that’s for sure. So people are normally afraid to fight you head on, including me. I assume you get smoke bombed a lot.”

The sage would say with laughter as she scratched her head. Genjutsu was a tough thing to deal with, especially when fighting alone. And while Midori was very adept and showed prowess in the art while she was in sage mode, anything outside of that would be a problem for her. All the damage she sustained from their battle practically disappeared and she was back to normal. But as she turned to look at Akira, she noticed a part of him was burned, causing him to hiss at the pain. That was from the fourth tail being brought forward, the sage knew the side effects of too much power being used without control, even though he was only in said form for a few seconds. Thankfully though it seemed as if Akira was okay.

"You might not want to let Lady Takara see..that..or else she’ll have some wordings for both of us.”

The sage would say in a joking manner, but at the same time she was serious. The burn marks were a tell tell sign that something bad happened with him and Kokuo, so it seemed best if her kept it covered. On the other hand, Midori would chuckle at the fact that Akira and Kokuo were having a little bet to see if the man could do without Kokuo’s power.

"Well your relationship with him is definitely a tad bit better than it was before. At least your at the point of settling your differences albeit by way of making deals. Oh, and I noticed that you skipped tails, which was rather surprising.”

From the distance Jugo would return to Midori’s side after running for the hills once the sage had entered sage mode. He wanted no part of the destructive capabilities of not only Akira but Midori as well. So he hid for the remainder of the fight.

"Ah yes..I am fine.”

Midori would say before turning to look at her furry companion, to see how he was holding up. He was a little dirty from flying debris but nothing more than that. A nod from his head would signify his well-being.
