DESCRIPTION:

In a secluded marsh/forest area Toru practices a jutsu that he has thus far not been very good at in the academy. He discovers some inner peace with his meditation upon his chakra, as well as his capacity of doing the bunshin in private as opposed to being stared at and evaluated. After succeeding in it for the first time - ever - he decides to move onto his bokken practice, but knows to master the jutsu he will continue practicing regardless. At least it was three dimensional and upright!

DESCRIPTION:

Toru buckles down and decides to really focus and figure out the transformation jutsu. It had thus far been giving him trouble due to the details not being quite right when he is attempting it at the academy. So, he focuses on transforming into someone who he had a very strong image of in his mind. The image of his mother. So he sits by the water's edge, meditates and works on the transformation jutsu until he finally transforms into his mother and sees her reflection in the water. This is very emotional for Toru who has not seen his mother for many years, but he walks away from the training feeling victorious.

DESCRIPTION:

Toru is joined by Asuka Waruichi who is assigned to help academy students after school, as well as watching them. Toru accepts the girls help to train him in speed, even though he is quite a loner and doesn't like to be approached in this manner. Either way the two of them work together and it is very clear that this is only the beginning of what would become a long training regiment!

DESCRIPTION:

Toru is practicing by himself after school when he is joined by Minako Kaguya the Mizukage. Who is assisting in the after school program due to lack of academy instructors. She makes him run drills in the mud, causing for Toru's feet to sink in but also to help with his speed as he is essentially doing resistance training as a result of the mud. After this, she leads him into the academy and speaks to him about his plans whilst leading him through a stretching cool down to help his muscles recuperate after vigorous exercise.

DESCRIPTION:

Toru is joined by Asuka to practice his speed. They play a game of tag, chasing each other back and forth. Toru ends up getting away from Asuka by using a series of evasive maneuvers. Although he just barely manages to catch Asuka on the flip side of that coin, in fact, Asuka times his run to see how fast he runs. This is a training that is between a game and an actual training but it is no less rigorous!

DESCRIPTION:

Toru meets a Kaguya boy, and at first he doesn't understand why the other is approaching him. The two break out into a tennis like game using bokken, and a bone sword to hit back and forth. They practice their speed as a result. Whilst Toru does well, Tenzin ultimately wins with what Toru deems a cheap hit.

Toru meets with Reiji, who had promised to teach him some kenjutsu technique. They proceed to work on horizontal and vertical strikes - very important basics in kenjutsu. Advice is given to Toru by Reiji and ultimately Toru demands to battle Reiji who insists to transfer that to another day.

DESCRIPTION:

Toru spends literally the entire day learning how to climb up trees with just his feet and chakra. Running up and down he has a hard time due to his lack of control but is able to preserve throughout the day and climb up the tree effectively in the end.
