DESCRIPTION:

Toru like the act of tree walking spends all day - or at least the great majority of it - trying to learn how to stand and walk on water. He uses a semi-deep pool to do so. Building upon what he learned from the tree climbing but instead having to learn how to adjust his chakra to the ever moving liquid beneath him. He walks away decently successful as he is at least able to walk across the pool although a bit haphazardly.

Toru finally gets down to personalizing his skill set and begins working on a simple jutsu regarding his blade in which he coats the blade with water. He trains against a tree making sure that his strikes are heavily cushioned with the water. Thus, creating the very first of a personal style.

Toru meets Asuna Waruichi for the first time - his new teammate - and she decides to test Toru to see his worthiness as her teammate. Toru fights her, and decides to train a new technique a little bit. Surprisingly enough, from his knowledge of some other Suiton related techniques he is able to perform it rather successfully.

Toru clashes in a training battle against Okohime - discovering this time that she has six arms. The two training partners spend quite sometime refining their swordsmanship on each other with Toru practicing his horizontal water wave technique, - or training it rather - whilst Okohime practices defense against Toru. The two walk away certainly decently satisfied with their progress.

Toru trains with Asuka, she her speed and he a new jutsu that he has been conjuring up in his head. The two face off for a while, and ultimately come to a stop because Toru can't land a clean hit to actually test his technique out. Ultimately asking if he can test it in a non-combat situation, Asuka obliges and allows Toru to experiment upon a small swatch of flesh. He cuts, it does not cause pain, and gives him the impression that he has done well enough to utilize this technique in combat later on with a little more refinement.

Toru tasks himself with learning the hiding in water technique for stealth purposes. Almost drowning himself a few times, the boy finally gets it right although for not particularly long and calls it a day finding that he has more than enough water in his lungs for the time being.

DESCRIPTION:

Toru decides to learn a jutsu that he deems quite handy. He works on it on his own for quite some time, trying to figure out proper methods to stomping the ground to get a pressurized water wall up and to shoot senbon out of it. It takes several tries before he gets anything close to getting the jutsu to work. The struggles of working alone, but for Toru it is certainly preferred.
