"Sigh.... I swear I thought the concept from my other jutsu creation would help." 3 hours was a long time to be at the training grounds, but Issei had been long working on another signature Katon technique to add to his small tree of jutsu. It was slight variation of the one he'd already made. It involved compressing, but super heating he air around his fingers. Snapping them into a stream that could ultimately create a large wall of fire. However after almost a year the best he could create was lighting a small fire ball on his index finger. The focus needed to compress the fire was just not there yet. If it were not for his extremely large chakra reserves the amount of hours he put into learning this would have been impossible. "Sigh.. I guess tomorrow will be spent doing a D rank missions, and probably doing some more reading on Raiton."

The latter was his next big idea on what was going to become a huge compliment to his Katon prowess. The vision came about while thinking of the sounds of birds chirping. If his memory served him well the sounds would go a long way into creating something else that was iconic. Nevertheless, this day was definitely turning out to be a failure. It was to be expected, especially since he was still just a Genin. He could still take pride in the fact that he was able to still create something. That was a feat that not many Shinobi were able to accomplish. Even the ones that were promoted on a much higher scale had a hard time doing what he was doing. For now he would just take a seat and give himself a break until deciding whether or not he'd continue to practice or just go home.

The latter was more likely since his mind was already thinking of today as nothing more than a failure. After about 20 minutes of sitting in the grass of the training ground Issei decided that he was going to give his idea another crack for about an hour. That was until the presence of another figure could be seen coming from behind. "Maybe not.." Issei wasn't the kind of person that liked to practice his own ideas on shared terrain. Oddly enough, if he wanted to his training in a private environment he could have just done this at the clan compound, but there was nothing like the areas Konoha provided. With the amount of funding the village had they were able to create much bigger training areas with the kind of space to master techniques so as the one he was looking to learn.

With his mind being made up he'd begin to grab his belongings and started heading in the direction that the opposition was coming in from. Once he got within range he'd properly greet the man with a nod before speaking up. "Its all yours man.." Another nod followed before attempting to leave the training area. He'd probably end the day with a nice home cook meal from his dad and some more reading on personal relationships.

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

Thank whatever gods there were in the universe for coffee.

Yusuke approached the training ground at a simple pace. His head was pounding and even after dunking his head into the fountain in his bar he couldn't shake the pleasant desire for sleep. The Drunken Monkey had experienced a rather raucous night. Sometime before midnight a bachelorette party had wandered in, shots had been poured, dancing followed, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It wasn't until roughly four am, after two men attempting to convince a bridesmaid to go for a stroll had started fighting, that Yusuke had closed the place down.

In his left hand he held a disposable plastic cup full of coffee, black no sugar, and with his right he pulled out a small bottle of pills and chomped a few down to combat his headache.

As he returned the bottle to the pouch on his hip his arm touched in his lower back. A surge of ache ran through him from what was surely a bruise there.

"Who hits the bartender with a chair? Idiots" he grumbled as he slurped down more coffee.

He did feel a small swell of pride in himself. Not long ago a hangover would have been reason enough for him to decide training was too much work. Sure he was getting an incredibly late start, but he was at least doing it. It was due in no small part to Kazuto. The man had forced Yusuke to commit to training daily, and even if he doubted the Senju would know if he skipped, Yusuke was a man of his word.

He entered the training area in time to see a boy in his late teens collecting his things. As the teen approached he noted his dark skin, serious eyes, and somewhat dejected slump as he walked.

As they approached one another the teen nodded and spoke. He had barely passed Yusuke when the Sarutobi stopped and turned around to look at him.

"Not trying to rush you out of here man," He said with a smile.

"Why not stick around. What do you say we train together for a bit? Company always makes the work a bit more bearable." Yusuke said.

He took another drink of his coffee and waited for the boys reply. Maybe it was because he had seen the same somewhat defeated look in his own eyes after a less than productive training day that propelled him to stop the young man. Either way, no harm in asking.

[UCHIHA ISSEI]

Once the Uchiha walked past the man he had already had his eyes set on what he'd probably be doing throughout the rest of the day. So when the man started speaking to him it sort of caught him off guard. He didn't want to lose momentum on whatever it was that he was planning even if the guy was just telling him that he did not have to leave. Issei knew that he could have stayed if he wanted to, but he felt if there was another person there that it might be kind of weird that they'd be working on two different things. At least that was what his gut feeling was telling him. The idea of him working on Katon in once space, and lets say another person working on Suiton in another space felt odd to the Uchiha. Like what if they got in each others way? Or what if ones persons way of training was too different than his own?

The Uchiha took in a deep breath before turning back to the man just to see that he was smiling at him. Afterward he'd offer him the chance to stick around so that they could train together. He used the word company which could definitely suggested that they could train together in something rather than working apart. Issei already had his mind made up about going home, but something about this offer was hard to resist. For one, the guy actually seemed pretty nice. He could have been way more of an asshole. He'd done this many times in the past and every response and reaction was different than the next. When he was working on his Katon he wanted the peace of mind of being alone. It had nothing to do with anyone else. Just having someone else around effect his concentration.

"To be honest I was just going to head home... Even after your nice offer, but I'm thinking about reconsidering things."

The guys looked like he was in great shape. There was a good chance that he probably even more stronger than himself which was pretty exciting. If he could offer something productive outside of his Ninjutsu training then he saw no reason to turn down the offer. It wasn't like he hadn't done the same thing before to others. His most memorable one was with a girl named Inari. She was minding her own business like the many others he'd asked to join in the past and she was pretty cool about it. "So what do you have in mind sir?"

The most common sparring sessions was simple hand to hand combat training, but every now and again people opted for a more authentic sparring session. What this meant was that everything was on the table outside of seriously injuring someone, or death. So giving up was the primary option, while the option to stop the fighting if things were getting out of hand could be spoken about on either side. He'd only ever done this kind of training with Yuuta. Not to many people had the heart of a warrior to do that sort of training, but in some ways it was way more beneficial than the latter.

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

The young man took a deep breath and turned to face Yusuke. He had intense eyes, focused as if he were already planning and contemplating something. His words were forward, yet polite and the Sarutobi held the smile and gave a small shrug.

"Up to you. I find maybe having someone else around during training can make a big difference. If you are willing I'd love to have you hang out. I'm Yusuke by the way" he supplied, offering his hand for a shake.

The teen asked Yusuke what he had in mind, and the blonde man raised his right arm up, resting his chin on his pointer finger and holding his thumb out thoughtfully.

"Well when you are training with someone new it's best to understand each others strengths and weaknesses, usually there is some common ground that can be worked on together," Yusuke said, "There are really two ways to do it. One, the boring way is I tell you about me and you tell me about you and we try to figure it out, or..."

His smile slid into a miaxhecious grin as he lowered his arms back down.

"We find out through a training match. No rules in weapons or jutsu, you fight till someone forfeits or incapacitates the other. It let's you see what each other can really do, and where they need improvement." He explained.

What he didn't say was the deeper part of that. Fights like these were also an incredibly helpful tool for introspective analysis. Fighting someone can show you just as much about yourself as it does them. You feel the struggle of where you are lacking, the triumph of successes. It was an experience like none other.

"What do you say we start there and then see where it goes?" He said, giving the younger man a slightly cocky grin.

[UCHIHA ISSEI]

The guys manners were definitely winning over the Uchiha. It would have been one thing for him to suggest him staying for the sake of being nice, but you could tell from the way he was acting that he was being serious. "Uchiha Issei." He responded reaching back out to the blonde hair man with a tight grip. Whatever Ideas came to mind would ultimately decide whether or not this encounter was worth staying for, or if he should leave. His words were extremely insightful and spoke to how knowledgeable he probably was when it came to training. The last time he got training on that level was right before Yuuta had disappeared on he and his team. If Yusuke was capable of analyzing him in such a manner than perhaps there was something to truly gain from this encounter after all.

"I like the way you think Yusuke... Reminds me of my clans crazy ideals on training."

His suggestion was straight forward and to the point. It removed all the training wheels that most people continued to put in their training. Something he hadn't done since his much younger years as a Shinobi. It was dangerous though, and because of that many people did not partake in sessions like that. Including himself to be honest, but he really wanted to take that next level, but being a Genin limited the amount of options he'd have at doing so.

Its not like there were a ton of dangerous C rank missions for them to take on. Most of those were being done by lower level Chuunin, or teams that were favorites of the higher ups in the village. Unfortunately that didn't include his own. His team for many years had remained inconsistent, and as a result left him struggling to get the amount of C rank missions he once was capable of getting on.

Luckily the options that were provided were relatively fair. If one decided that their level of combat was not up to par with the other they could always just tap out, but the only way you got the most out of the training was how you timed your surrender. If he gave up the moment things were going to get rough then he'd get nothing out of it.

"I like the latter... I think I've been way to easy on myself anyways."

He needed more training sessions like the one he shared with Yuuta. Even if that meant not having memory of how it ended. Afterward he felt like for the first time in years he actually pushed himself beyond his normal limitations. He felt like he was being treated like a real Shinobi, and not some washed up privileged teenager. The latter had done well to keep him from progressing as fast as he was probably projected to be after his years of being in the academy.

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

Issei shook Yusuke's hand and supplied his name. Yusuke kept the smile on his face and his the surprise he felt at discovering the young man was an Uchiha. Yusuke's team leader was from the same clan as the young man, and the Sarutobi found himself wondering if the boy had the same innate ability as Yusuke's team leader. Moreso, he pondered if the boy had the all seeing eyes of his clan.

Issei's words brought a laugh from the Sarutobi. The young man seemed to have almost instantly thawed. The dejected slope of his shoulders was gone, and Yusuke saw the intensity of a young man wishing to push his limits.

"I'm sure we could compare notes on clan training methods. The Sarutobi have a pretty stringent idea of how a young man should be taught " he chuckled.

Issei agreed to a sparring match, stating that he had been too easy in himself for too long. Yusuke felt a pang of kinship to the young man. He had spent so much of his own life skipping trainings, avoiding difficult missions, and basically doing whatever he could to avoid work.

" Recognizing you need to push harder is the first step." he said to himself as well as the boy.

His smile held as he stood causally before the boy.

"Alright then." he said.

The smile on his face vanished in an instant. As the words finished passing through his lips the Sarutobi was already in motion. He dropped, bringing his left leg up in a flash. His kick aimed at the Uchiha's chest as his body touched the ground. His right hand planted onto the ground for balance.

If the kick connected the boy would find himself kicked into the air. Yusuke would vanish and reappear behind him, floating in the boy's shadow.

"Sarutobi?"

Issei questioned to himself as he tried to piece together whether or not he'd ever heard that name before. He was pretty sure he might have, but once again this was becoming another one of those situations where he sort of looked the other direction when it was brought to his attention for whatever reason. The village was filled with a plethora of amazing clans and somehow he found time to only learn about a select few of them. Not to long ago he met a girl named Yurako from a clan that he'd only briefly heard about too, except this time after his encounter with her chose to read as much as he could about it as he could, and today was going to be the same with Yusuke and any other person he met from a clan he paid little attention to.

There was only so much information provided on each of these clans to those outside of it, but he'd do his best to show the other clans the same respect they continued to show his own. "Sounds good to me... Taking notes is something I like to do." The Uchiha spoke while pointing to the bag carrying his things. For the time being Yusuke proved to be worth the time he was about to spend training with him. He was charismatic and was easy to talk to. He didn't even have to say too much because he had no problem doing most of the talking himself. For Issei this was a chance to get a better idea on how to approach other Shinobi he had an interest in fighting against to pick their brain.


A nod followed after he acknowledge that recognizing his issues was the first step into improving himself. It took much longer than any smart person would have needed to figure out why his skills were lacking in comparison to those in the village that were his age, and while the latter was not everything it did mean a great deal when you projected to be much further ahead than you currently were. Nevertheless, Yusukes next set of words appeared to be the starting point of their sparring session.

First thing that came to mind was for him to get into a stance to analyze what his opponents first move might be, or even what his own first move would be. There was no telling who was going to make the first move. In a blink of an eye before he could even get comfortable Yusuke vanished in what briefly appeared to be thin air.

"Shit!"

The Blonde haired boy had slightly caught him off guard in the midst of him talking about now he was going to try to surprise him. Luckily Isseis eyes had a great feel for reacting to things, but even he couldn't respond to an attacking ghost. He'd had to perceived and guess where his opponent might reappear. "Below!" And while discovering him was one thing, the other was trying to avoid him altogether. The latter was not going to be possible, but that didn't necessarily mean disaster was in the air either.

The best he could do after spotting the Blonde at the last moment was to cross his forearms over to block the attack with as much force as he could risk without hurting himself. After all, the legs were much stronger than the arms. Blocking the kick would be a success, but what came afterward was hard to avoid. The result of the hit would send him flying in the air, but not as high as he would have been if he had no blocked.

Another silver lining to his reaction was that because he'd block the kick instead of taking complete impact in its intended area that he had a degree of control of where he was floating. The result of that attack could lead to a number of outcomes, but given how fast Yusuke moved the first time that left him with little time to even think of it. Two handseals immediately followed as he waited for his inevitable fate.

Isseis continuous training in the art of hand to hand combat has made him a proficient user of fighting from up close. After years of training with his mother Issei has the gained a natural aptitude for countering opponents, mostly due to his heighten reflex arc in his neural pathway. Something she detected during the earlier years of his training. Noting that his ability to react to ones movements was beyond something that could be taught, and that his heighten reflexes might have been a result of their clans KKG bloodline. Nonetheless, because of his heighten reflexes fighting up close in combat with Issei will prove difficult to opponents seeing as his ability to see others movements almost before they even fully develop puts them at a disadvantage. This ability isn't however, made to be an excuse for god modding, instead, it is used as a measure to separate himself from those who have not devoted a prioritized amount of time into that area of training.

JUTSU PREPED?

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

Yusuke watched as Issei brought his arms up to block the kick. Issei had angled his defenses to absorb the power of the kick, but allow it to land. As his leg impacted the boy's defense and sent him up into the air the Sarutobi smiled.

"He's got good reflexes." He thought as he saw the boy form two very familiar seals.

The Uchiha wasn't just defending, he was planning a counterattack. To anticipate the kick, and the follow up attack was impressive. It was an even more telling ability given his age. Yusuke vanished, reappearing in the air behind the boy. The Sarutobi formed a pair of seals him before planting thrusting his right arm out and unleashing the stored energy of the bracer at the teen.

It was time to set the bait and see if he could get the boy to bite. Experience and training kicking in as Yusuke formed a plan. If things went the way he anticipated, Issei was about to be in for quite the surprise. However, a wrong guess meant Yusuke was going to be leaving himself wide open. Thankfully, the Sarutobi had always been a bit of a gambler.

A transparent lance of chakra would shoot out, covering the minimal distance between Yusuke and the boys back in an instant.

Yusuke grew up traveling and working with his mother as a performer before attending the academy. These fundamental developmental years were spent weaving between stage hands and learning dances for musical numbers. This has given Yusuke an inherent sense of his own body and it's movements. He is incredibly flexible and capable of stretching his body to an almost obscene extent.

Enhanced Chakra Reserves
Yusuke perhaps inherited his chakra supply from his father as part of the Sarutobi began Onc he began his training he pushed his body hard and began to discover his talents. While he lacked the precision chakra control of some he found that he could perform s variety of jutsu without draining himself. This was further worked on once he was given his signature tool the Blade of Waves, which required him to focus on his chakra reserves as a way of maintaining himself in a fight.

Equipment ability:

Ability #2- Chakra Lance
This ability is held only by the bracers. While being worn the bracers absorb a small portion of chakra every time the wearer moves their arms. This energy is stored within the bracers and over time accumulates. By focusing a low amount of chakra into the bracers the user is able to release the stored chakra, unleashing a blunt lance of hardened chakra roughly a foot in diameter at whatever the wearers fist is aimed at. This lance will fly out until it hits something or up to roughly twenty meters. After which distance the force will diminish and evaporate. While this lance is transparent, those with keen eyes can see it by the displaced air in the wake of the blast.

The blast has the force to blow small holes in walls, knock doors off their hinges, or throw an enemy struck up to ten feet. Those hit by the lance may suffer from cracked bones depending upon the location of the impact.

Though a strong ability it can only be used once before the user must take the time to allow the bracers to slowly recharge from their standard movements (Fully charged at beginning of thread so long as he is wewring them. One use per thread per bracer. If thread takes place directly after a previous thread where burst was used it is not recjarged.)

Things might have been much easier to handle if he had all seeing eyes like the Byakugan. He knew once again that he was going to have to play things out the same way he did with Yusukes' initial attack. It sucked because not many people attempted to make the first move, and not only did he make his move first but it landed him in a position to where he was practically in the same spot. In fact he was even more defenseless than before, but that didn't mean there wasn't hope. He just had to be strong and wait for the opportunity. Even if it was going to hurt like hell. Being stuck in the air didn't leave Issei with many options.

It wasn't like he could suddenly maneuver his body in the air like a bird. If anything he was limited to one direction, but if he chose wrong then he'd be stuck with having to move in that one direction until he hit the ground. It didn't take long for Yusuke to appear behind him, and given his current position his timing on noticing him would have had to be late. The only thing that gave Yusukes' presence away was his size. If he were around his height it might have been much easier to hide his existence. Regardless, it wouldn't save him completely from what was coming. All it did was provide him with an opportunity to get even with what transpired before Yusuke landed a surprise attack to his back. Upon impact Issei would use the momentum from the attack to spin his body in a direction where he'd be falling facing toward him.

That attack left him with very little to give, and to be honest that hit on the ground was going to have him moving like an old man for a week. "Bang.." The Uchiha muttered as softly as he could with the breath he had left within him. His Optics focused clear on his target before he'd unleash a translucent beam from his forehead. Like himself Yusuke would have to succumb to the realities of gravity. Unless he had some super cool flying ability he didn't know about, or even a ninjutsu that helped him maneuver in the air he was going to feel the burn. Literally. If things played out the way he would have liked then Issei would brace for impact on the ground. The goal would be to gather himself as soon as possible, but that wasn't going to be likely.

He needed his secret technique to buy him some time or else. Yusuke was built like an athletic freak, and given how fast he was able to close in on him before there was no telling if he'd even be able to block it this time. The impact from the flame would not only leave him with 1st degree burns, but it'd send him back a few meters giving him his own set of issues to worry about.

"Please work.."

DESCRIPTION: Combustion Stream consists of the ability to channel chakra through the forehead, often marked by an intricate translucent third-eye, superheating the surrounding air, and producing a translucent beam of combustive energy that crack like firecrackers as they traveled until erupting violently upon impact with a surface capable of creating a huge radius of fire burning anything in its path. Both in short and long ranges. This ability is mentally driven, requiring only inhalation and focus on the part of the user to initially utilize. Combustion Streaming requires good chakra flow and a properly calibrated focus in order to be effective, as disrupting it can have fatal consequences should the user not be effectively train to a certain standard. Despite superheating the air directly around the practitioner, this technique does not harm the user unless the fiery eruption occurs in the immediate vicinity. If a combustion user uses this skill and the fire stream erupts too close to the user of this jutsu, it could prove fatal. The length of which the stream is able to travel is dependent on the level of the user as well as the explosive radius of the stream. Also the speed of which the stream is able to travel is that of a thrown kunai. Once the user has reached the next level of rank, if needed is able to use the power of the previous rank to preserve chakra, or to only do damage to a certain degree.
C ➠ RANK - At this level the user is capable of shooting out a stream capable of reaching a maximum distance of 50 meters with an erupting radius of only 10 meters. The degree of damage that can be done on a target at this level is equivalent to a 1st degree burn, and can be sent back flying as far as 5 meters. At this rank explosion is capable of destroying small boulders. The power release from each fiery eruption is also capable of evaporating Suiton jutsu of D rank and below.

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

Yusuke was surprised to see his lance impact the teen and send him flying upward. The Sarutobi had assumed that the Uchiha was preparing a substitution, and had planned accordingly. Taking the hit directly was curious, had it been for a reason or did he have no other choice?

Issei spun, facing Yusuke as he spun away from Yusuke, the momentum from his attack having thrown the teen higher in the air. There was popping noise and Yusuke saw a distortion in the air firing towards him. Tiny flashes emminated from the air as Yusuke saw Issei's eyes locked on him 

"So he has a transparent strike too." Yusuke thought.

Yusuke thrust out his left hand and released the second lance of chakra. The two forces collided and an explosion rang out. Yusuke flipped, coming to rest on the ground. His right hand reached back, gripping his staff and pulling it from his back. His bracers were now spent, meaning Yusuke would have to rely on his jutsu and ability for the remainder of the fight.

As the smoke cleared Yusuke spun the staff around. His eyes scanning to locate the teen. Had he landed yet? And if so what moves was he making now?

"Hopefully that explosion is a good sign for me."

The Uchiha uttered as he slowly got up from the ground trying to gather himself. Briefly reaching his left hand over to the spot Yusukes attack landed. It was one hell of a blow, but fortunately not enough to knock him out of commission. Because of his positioning there was no way for him to see what kind of attacked he used, but he did make sure to note that Yusuke didn't have to make direct contact with him for him to strike. "Fuuton maybe?" Issei muttered again as he tried to go through his arsenal of techniques to see what he had that could possibly overwhelm the blonde.

All that was left now was to wait and see where the opposition was when the smoke clear. Besides the aftermath of the explosion the Uchiha couldn't hear anything that might signal he was in danger yet. He was glad that for the time being that he got a chance to gather himself, but he knew next time he probably wouldn't be so lucky. He needed to be careful from here on out when it came to calculating his moves. As the smoke became more clear he'd here a sound that resemble that of a wind whirling in the sky. Once it cleared complete the only thing left standing before him was the blonde hair man and a bo staff.

"Nice Stick!"

Issei uncharacteristically exclaimed while forming two handseals again. "Bang." The Uchiha muttered after taking in another deep breath to unleash another Combustion Stream into the air. Immediately after releasing the stream the Uchiha begin to run in the direction of the opposition. Taking out 2 kunai in the process , wrapping them in explosive tags, and ultimately throwing them toward Yusuke. The landing places was to be about a few meters from where he was standing. The Uchiha did well to maintain a moderate running pace as to not close the distance too fast.

The end game of his scheme was to keep his eyes focused on him, but focusing on either could ultimately lead him to danger if he could not make a simple decision. See, the stream he'd fire into the sky was set to [curve] and land behind him. The first explosion would expand far enough to hopefully force him into a forward direction. The latter would make him prey to the explosions set forth by the two tags placed on the two kunai he'd threw in his direction. Issei didn't expect his plan to go work to absolute perfection, but if he made even the slightest mistake it would give Issei another plan to take in action. 2 more handseals followed as he awaited the outcome of his first plan.

DESCRIPTION: This variation of the of the Combustion Stream allows for the user to have a greater deal of control over where the stream is shot. Typically the user is able to only aim the stream in a straight line, however, with much training and mastery over the jutsu to a certain degree the user is able to change the trajectory of the beam upon initial firing. While the user isn't able to control it to a level to where the stream acts as a homing missile they are still able to alter its direction to a certain degree. Upon firing the user is able to fire the stream into a trajectory in which can enable the stream to travel in a curve, or in the complete motion of a short or wide U-turn. However, this doesn't mean that the user gains complete control over its changing trajectory. In return for adding the extra curve to the shot the users precision lowers making it harder for the user to land a direct shot, but can still prove to be fatal as the explosion upon impact is still a factor.

As the smoke began to clear Yusuke saw the dark teen standing a distance from him, presumably where he had landed after Yusuke's attack. As Yusuke spun his staff he heard the boy call out before unleashing another stream of transparent, crackling energy into the air.

Issei chsrged, producing two kunai and throwing them towards Yusuke. The Sarutobi began to move, only to see the kunai land I'm the dirt metered before him. A miss? No, no shinobi worth a damn would miss by such a large margin. The tingling sensation of feeling trapped ran up Yusuke's spine.

He released his staff as the younger man charged, his right hand grabbing a smoke bomb and throwing it to the ground. As the cloud of black smoke burst around him Yusuke formed a set of quick seals. He brought up his right leg, hooking his foot up to let his staff land in the crease of his foot and shin.

The blonde sank into the ground, vanishing in the smoke cloud. He travelled beneath the earth, popping back up in the place Issei had began his attack from. With a small kick the staff was flicked upward and Yusuke grabbed it with his left hand. His right hand reached back and grabbed the pair of fuma shuriken he had holstered to his back.

He unfolded them as he spun, and released them. The first flying towards Issei as the second soared beneath it, hiding in its shadow.

Initially it seemed as though as things might actually work as planned. The Kunai had definitely gotten the attention of the Chuunin and now it was only a matter of time before his combustion stream came homing back to strike him. The Uchiha immediately stopped in his tracks as he awaited to see how he'd handle the adversity that was brought upon him. What followed next was extremely odd. "A smoke bomb? Why?" It didn't make since in a moment where he was pressed for so little time that he'd throw down a smoke bomb. Issei planted Yusuke exactly where he wanted him to be. There were only two exits, or so he thought.

After the smoke bomb ignited so would the explosion from the explosive tags, and his combustion stream exploding afterward. The Uchiha waited patiently to see where he come from as he braced from the explosions impact. "This isn't making any sense.." Issei was lost as to why the blonde hair man had not moved from either side. It was the only opening he'd provided to him. Up, forward, or backward were all off limits. He could only maneuver himself from left to right, and here he was standing here confused. "Did he just take the hit?" He hoped not as he didn't want to be responsible for what happened if he did. Fire was not something to play with.

Not too long after the explosion went off a sound could be heard emerging from the ground behind him. Not too far from where he started to be exact. "What?! Behind me?!" It didn't make sense as to how he could have done such a thing. The only mark left behind his actions was a sort of dismantled earth. It was clear to him now that he'd travel through the ground somehow. If he were being honest he'd never went up against someone capable of using the Doton element. It was not an ability commonly used in his clan. Katon, and in some cases Fuuton was the only thing he'd seen from the people of his clan.

Nevertheless, there was more to worry about than how he got behind him, but more so what he'd started immediately after popping out of the ground. He never expected the guy to be a Shuriken kind of of user, but here he was pulling out a big one that was sure to inflict a great deal of pain if he did not react quickly. Upon its release from Yusuke the Uchiha fired yet another combustion stream from his forehead. It was initially planned to be used against the boy, but seeing as he managed to hide under ground he'd have to use it to ruin the trajectory of the Shuriken being thrown at him.

The stream aimed directly toward ground in front of where the Shuriken was being the thrown as there was no guarantee that he'd be able to hit it so precisely given the blondes element of surprise. The immediately impact radius would be powerful enough to send it off into the air away from him.

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

The look on Issei's face was enough to tell the Sarutobi he had taken the teen by surprise with his movement. The shuriken flew towards the young man, and instead of dodging or panicking he released another transparent, crackling blast of energy. It impacted the shurken and Yusuke watched as the top one flew outward, slamming into the grass. The other was slammed downward and planted itself into the crater the Uchiha's jutsu had made. Behind Issei Yusuke saw the smoke clearing around a sozabale crater that had been where the blonde had stood moments ago. Instinct had saved him once again. Yusuke grinned.

Issei had impressive use of his jutsu. Whatever the attack was it was a nearly invisible stream of energy that detonated on impact. Having seen it used once against his lance, once fired into the air, and now used to block his shuriken, Yusuke began to create his assumptions on the techniques limits.

His staff swung into the crook of his arm as he formed a cross with his index and middle finger on both hands. In a puff of smoke three clones appeared before him. Each swung their staff out and charged the Uchiha with chakra boosted speed, the left and right most clones veering away from the middle. Using the crater where the shurken was stuck as a measurement the clones placed distance between them, attempting to make it impossible to hit more than one in a single blast.

Yusuke placed his hands together, preparing to form seals and watched. He had seen Issei use the attack with little preparation, but he needed to test how rapidly the Genin could deploy them. The clone's staffs began to glow with a pale white light. If any of then reached the boy he would find himself on the receiving end of a powerful horizontal swing, followed by a spin and a vertical replication of the previous attack.

To see the boys limits, his clones would be the perfect test.

NAME: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]

DESCRIPTION:

Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, as well as their kekkei genkai. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained along with it's remaining chakra are passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

The user channels chakra around their staff, creating a hard shell of energy around it to reenforce their weapon. This jutsu casts a pale white light, turning the staff into a faintly glowing rod. The field covers the staff and protects it from being burned or cut. The field is strong enough to block steel blades and is hard enough that it makes the strikes of the staff harder and able to dent or ding metal. The light produced by this chakra field leaves a faintly glowing behind the staff as it is swung, leaving a small afterimage of the staff that can be disorienting to foes.

Once again Issei's quick thinking had saved him from potential disaster, and unknowingly saved himself from something far worst by directing the aim of his signature move to an area that would ensure immediate impact rather than gambling too much on his ability to use it. Nevertheless, the fight was still on and if this battle had taught him anything it was that there was no stopping with this guy. He couldn't remember the last person he went up against outside of Yuuta that seemingly had an answer to everything he did. Somehow Yusuke was making use to the only disadvantage he'd have so far in this fight.

Issei was certain his long range attack might keep his opposite on edge, but it had not. With every move he was sure would instill fear into the heart of most genin were getting shrugged off like he was a child. Was this really the level he needed to reach in order to become a Chuunin? When comparing himself to his peers it was always clear to him that he was pretty far ahead on most. Only a few that he encounter showed what he felt was potential to move on to the next rank, but this fight here was showing how much futher behind he really was.

Whenever he went up against Yuuta it was pretty hard to measure his own ability. He was already a Jounin so at best, in a real fight he wouldn't last no more than a few seconds. And while Chuunin were expected to be out of his league he imagined their skills to be more comparable to his own. Perhaps this Yusuke was further along in his rank than he imagined because his discernment was amazing. It was hard not to feel let down once he summon three shadow clones to be at his side. How the hell was he going to get rid of all of them at once. His abilities had only gotten so far.

It didn't make matters any better that each of them had a weapon of their own. "This is definitely overkill..." Immediately before his clones begin to disperse he'd take in a deep breath before dispersing a large cloud of ash from his mouth. The cloud for the time being would give him some time to escape, or prepare for another counter attack. Escaping was out the question as he wasn't going to quit until Yusuke literally put him in a position that made it impossible for him to win.

The latter was definitely closing in, but he wasn't just going to just give it to him. He'd have to take one last gamble. The idea he had wasn't a good one, but he figured if there was a time to try something stupid for lack of a better word then the time was now. He'd simply lay on the ground where the ash was formed while forming two handseals in preparation for another attack. If they wanted him they'd have to find him in the ash.

SA 2 - SUPERIOR CHAKRA RESERVES
Issei, unlike most has been genetically blessed with an extremely high amount of chakra reserves. Something that was also noted by his mother during the earlier years of their training. While there are few who are lucky to be born with such prowess, there are many who aren't to obtain such gifts given the fact that having a large reserves of chakra is nothing more than a game of science. In others words it is simply something that cannot be gain through training or with natural growth. Nonetheless, with this he is able to perform use a larger repertoire of jutsu without the consequences of running out of chakra like most are accustomed to, and thus isn't limited to the amount of jutsu he can use at once. Also this ability grants him the power to user higher ranking jutsu with little to no consequences given the fact that he has a greater amount of chakra than most.
