[Yusuke Sarutobi]

The Drunken Monkey was in full swing. The simple main room of the tavern was filled to the bursting with patrons drinking, eating, laughing and smiling. The small record player in the corner pumped out music as people danced. It was a jovial place to be.

Except for its owner, Yusuke Sarutobi, who was moving through the place in a frantic rush. Drink orders, food orders, people shouting for him. He wore his standard shinobi gear with an apron over it, and his blonde hair bobbed on his head as he scribbled notes on the small notepad he was carrying.

He rushed back to the kitchen, letting out a frustrated growl.

"Screw this." He said to no one as he brought his hands together.

His pointer and middle fingers crossed in a t shape and in a puff of smoke he produced two shadow clones. One immediately walked over to the grill and began cooking orders. The other followed him into the main room and began pouring drinks for service.

The last patron left at two am, and Yusuke dispersed his clones and closed the door. He let out a sigh as he flipped the lights off in the room, leaving only the faint illumination from the moonlight streaming through the windows and the small lights hanging over the bar.

He walked over to the bar, plopped himself onto a stool, and grabbed a bottle of beer from the other side of the counter. He twisted the top off with a hiss and took a long pull of the beverage.

"I have got to get some help around here." He said sleepily.

He spun on the stool, rested his elbows on the counter behind him and took another drink as he looked out the window.

At least he could go to sleep now.

[Kimura Inari]

caught in the crossfire. The black suit's tall neck was pulled down over her head, orange hair spilling from it like a fresh water spring. Inari looked at herself in the mirror of the locker room. Her skin was pale. Her mocha eyes dull. The black Mamba suit seemed to make her a hole in the mirror image. A floating head... She weaved the seals for the transformation and her orange hair grew ink black, her eyes grew dark as well. From a tub of facepaint she smeared the black on her eyes and the skin around them. Any hint of skin was covered before the mask was put in place, the porcelain white made her into something else. The bubbly girl had faced murderes, become one herself, cheated her way past guards and other security measures. Corrupted to the cure, surely... No matter what Kazuto said, she was no honorable human. Destined to die for the betterment of the village. She tied her hair tightly in a bun. She deserved every inch of pain and resistance she faced. So when Kazuto asked her to test the ability of one of the Konoha shinobi, she nodded and asked 'when and who'. Not 'why'. Never why.  Equipped with her tanto and a dozen painkillers coursing through her body, she headed out. The Drunken Monkey. She needed no directions, she had been there, helped clean the place up, too. The orders were to test, not kill, but lethal force could be used if it could be stopped just as easily, though. and Inari was capable of doing just that without the Sarutobi earning himself a bruise.  The shadows moved with her and when she crawled through an open window meant to let in some fresh air to disperse the heavy scent of alcohol and food, she didn't make a sound. The target sat in a chair, drinking a well earned beverage, no doubt.  Her hands came together as she stood up on the ceiling behind him. And then she changed her mind, a quick hand reaching into her pouch and threw a set of oddly shaped throwing stars at him. Aimed at the back of the chair and at the edge of where his ear would be. The whole point was not for the Sarutobi to recognize the shuriken used by leaf shinobi. So... [Yusuke Sarutobi]

Yusuke took another drink of his beer before placing it on the counter behind him. His body was relaxed now that the workday was over and he was considering whether to go upstairs and shower before bed or simply slide into the sheets and pass out. That was until the familiar whooshing sound came to his ears from behind him.

There was a thunk as a shuriken hit the counter behind him and sped past his ear as he rolled forward. His eyes caught sight of the tiny, oddly shaped weapon as it wedged into the wooden floor. The throw had come from above and behind.

His roll brought him under one of the wooden table and he overturned it, putting it between him and the direction of the attack. He crouched behind the solid wooden table, and popped his head out over the edge.

His eyes scanned the darkened rafters and ceiling above and saw....nothing. He could make out king figure above him. His brain racing, trying to understand why he was being attacked. His mouth however, as usual refused to stay shut as the adrenaline coursed through him.

"So I take it you aren't here for a drink." he said into the darkness.

His eyes shifted as he looked at the ceiling, looking for any signs of movement. His right hand, hidden behind the table clenched into a fist. His nails digging into his palm until he felt the moistness of his blood slid across his fingertips. He couldn't see his enemy, but maybe he knew someone who could track them down.

The metal weapons swooshed through the air and embedded themselves in wood, causing small splinters to fly. The blond Sarutobi acted swiftly seeking cover behind a table and throwing a cheeky remark at her despite not being able to locate her in the shadows. He had an appropriate response to an attack, she noted. She wasn't about to let him have it easy. Kazuto wouldn't have sent her out here to test him if it was meant to be an easy test, especially not in this get up. [break][break]
His comment would earn no response but a couple of swift shuriken aimed to fly over his head and strike the wall behind him and the floor to his left. On the shurikens would be tied thin string of wire, as sharp as a blade's edge, if he did see the strings he'd notice how they spread out with just enough distance between them to make moving in that particular direction difficult, hence it'd leave his right side as the only obvious way to go if he wanted to move unhindered. [break][break] With the shurken launched she would move along a beam on the ceiling, one hand dipped into her pocket and produced a small ball with holes in it. Useless on a fight unless she could throw it hard enough at Yusuke's eyes or perhaps groin area, neither were her intention and instead she threw down the ball and as it landed, she froze for a moment, perched in the ceiling corner. 1, 2, 3... A shrill, high pitched whistle was produced and  if the man didn't block his ears he'd surely hear a the high pitched sound pick up in volume to the point where it was more than just a distraction, perhaps it'd even hurt... But how would he deal with it?[break] [break]

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

Yusuke's statement would not be replied to,not that he had thought it would. Instead more shuriken would be launched at him. He ducked down behind the table and tried to think. The why of the attack didn't matter right now, only surviving the assault.

His eyes caught sight of a faint metallic shine reflected in the moonlight. Wires. His assailant wasn't just trying to hit him, they were trying to trap him where he was. He needed backup, and the moist blood on his hand should provide just that.

That was until a small clinking noise echoed through the silence, and suddenly Yusuke's ears were assaulted with a high pitched ringing that seemed to grow louder and louder. His monkeys relied on hearing, and bringing them into this barrage of sound would serve little good. His right hand cupped his ear as his left dug into his flak jacket.

He couldn't let the fight drag out in his bar. Despite his life being at risk, using any of his beat attacks would result in destruction for his tavern. He needed to get clear and regroup. Luckily he had moved through his tavern so much he had a little advantage there.

He tossed the flashbomb above his head and it ignited into a blaze of light. He shut his eyes, cupping his ears as the ringing grew to a painful high in his ears, and dashes to his right with chakra boosted speed.

If he made it to the wall he would jump through the window, flying out into the alley beside the bar.

Yusuke grew up traveling and working with his mother as a performer before attending the academy. These fundamental developmental years were spent weaving between stage hands and learning dances for musical numbers. This has given Yusuke an inherent sense of his own body and it's movements. He is incredibly flexible and capable of stretching his body to an almost obscene extent.

Enhanced Chakra Reserves
Yusuke perhaps inherited his chakra supply from his father as part of the Sarutobi began Onc he began his training he pushed his body hard and began to discover his talents. While he lacked the precision chakra control of some he found that he could perform s variety of jutsu without draining himself. This was further worked on once he was given his signature tool the Blade of Waves, which required him to focus on his chakra reserves as a way of maintaining himself in a fight.

Inari would readying a new attack when the blond Sarutobi moved, one hand pressed against his ear while another rummaged through his pouch for something. She would abandon her first idea, moving to grab a kunai and fling it at the blond in an attempt to interrupt whatever he was planning. The blade cut through the air as whatever Yusuke had throw did, her eyes recognized it, but even with her eyes shut and her head turning to block out most of the light, dark spots still danced across her vision as she reopened her eyes, seeing the blond vaulting out of the window was mostly due to luck as the dancing black spots could have blocked the sight. Had she not seen it, then she would have heard it, the sound of boots hitting dirt and the subsequent footsteps as he fled. Or re-positioned in an effort to draw her away from the tavern.  [break][break]
She would follow vaulting out of the window, her jaw clenched and still with dark spots dancing across her vision, although not as much as right after the light attack. With a low growl she locked her dark eyes on the other chuunin, charging him and bringing her hands together to form a string of handseal, which would only stop once he had seen her. Her chakra would reach out and latch on to the chuunin's placing the genjutsu on him and Inari would seemingly fade away like mist in the sun. In reality she would simply be invisible to him as she made her approach. Once in range a tree would grow around him, holding him in place and Inari would sprout from it, a kunai in hand. [break][break]

The user first disappears from plain sight in a mist-like fashion in order to approach the target without being detected. Once close enough, the target will then be completely robbed of their mobility as they see the mirage of a fast-growing tree coiling itself around them. Given that the subject remains conscious, this technique proves extremely efficient for information-gathering. Once the target is immobile, the user can then attack the enemy, usually after emerging from the trunk of the tree.

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

Yusuke heard the air whoosh behind him as something flew past him, but he didn’t stop to look. He crashed through the window and into the alley, his hands forming seals rapidly in the instant of cover he had created for himself. His bloody palm touched the wall of the alley and in a puff of smoke Azula appeared. She was roughly six feet tall, with rich, dark brown fur. Her fur on her head that framed her face was dyed a rich sapphire and her eyes, questioning Yusuke as she clung to the all matched. Before she could open her mouth to speak Yusuke interrupted.

”Enemy.Nunchaku.” He said to the monkey.

Two simple words but given the time the pair had shared Azula understood when time was critical. A small puff of smoke and the monkey was replaced with a pair of metal nunchaku that Yusuke grabbed as he sprinted down the alley. He had gone a handful of steps before he looked back to see the pure black shape of a person appear out the window. He spun to face them as he saw hand signs being formed, only for the woman to vanish in a haze of mist. He looked around the alley, trying to locate the assailant. Azula’s attention was only brought to the enemy after Yusuke stopped, and as a result she only saw the enemy walking towards them. Unsure why Yusuke seemed confused as the enemy walked straight towards him Azula sat in his grip, at the ready as the enemy approached.

Simply drawing blood and releasing a mass of chakra from one's extended hand is capable of calling an animal or otherwise to one's location. As a Space-Time Ninjutsu, this technique is capable of instantly displacing an intended summon from wherever they may be to the requested location, though there are obstacles that can prevent this. To use this jutsu, one must first make a contract with whatever they are summoning, living creature or not. Both the size and the stamina of what a shinobi calls upon increases the demand of chakra they must spend to perform the jutsu.

APPEARANCE:

Azula takes great pride in her looks, and as a result is probably one of the most beautiful monkeys that the world has ever seen. Her dark brown fur is kept tidy and and she wears a pixie cut that has blue dye on the ends. She is tall, standing at roughly six feet tall, and her body is thin but musculsr. She has glittering blue eyes. She usually wears a simple dress with leggings and has a large chain draped over one shoulder that she uses in combat.

PERSONALITY:

Training under the monkey king Enma had made Azula competitive. She lacks the experience of some of the older members of her clan and is prone to hot headedness and over confidence. She enjoys flirting with her summoners, but her loyalty and playfullnes will quickly turn to scorn if she believes they are insulting her or snubbing her. Do not in any circumstance insult her looks.

ABILITIES:


Azula fights using her speed and grace to outmaneuver her foes. She believes most problems can be solved with a lightning bolt and in combat tends to prefer more straight forward attacks above the stealthier or strategic move.

Ability 1: Nunchaku Transformation

Studying under Enma and the other elder monkeys Azula has learned to transform herself. She Is capable of transforming unto a Nunchaku. Though it is not nearly as durable as Enma's staff form her Nunchaku form is as hard as steel. Each handle of the weapon is eleven inches long and two inches in diameter. They are connected to one another by a metal chain that is eight inches long. Both handles are metal wrapped in some sort of insulated material to allow Raiton chakra to be channeled without harming the holder.

Ability 2: Static Bolt Strike

In her Nunchaku form Azula can channel her Raiton chakra into one of then handles of the weapon. The summoner is able to hold onto one handle and spin the other on it's chain as Azula focuses her chakra and builds it up.

By releasing the chakra Azula is able to either increase the power of the impact, infusing it with Raiton chakra, or send out a bolt of electricity. This bolt had the power to blast though a boulder larger than Azula.

Metal glinted, but the cold edge was pressed to the blond's throat, Inari's head coming down to level with his. Ink black hair cascaded over his shoulder and the soft chuckle from the chuunin was distorted slightly by the mask, but a smirk was definitely evident in her voice as she spoke, knife pressing a little harder against the skin. "Well that was easier than I expected..." [break][break]
She took her other hand and gripped the blond's chin in an attempt to force it upward and gain more access to his throat. This wouldn't do... It was supposed to be a test, but when he already failed to counter her genjutsu, he would need to have called for back up in the short amount of time he had been out of her sight. There was the possibility he had done so, but she doubted the man had time to pull out his radio, pocket it, and then have his weapon at the ready. [break][break]
"Who is the jinchuuriki? Answer and you will leave with your life. I promise... "[break][break]
Monotone and with no hint of emotion. It was, somehow, easier to play the part when the mask so neatly separated her from the reality of what she was doing. Yusuke was nice, a cool person in her book, and they would still be on good terms after this. It was the joy of having a mask to hide behind. She didn't ruin any of her relationships by carrying out orders such as this one.

[Yusuke Sarutobi]

A tree burst from the ground, wrapping around Yusuke.his grip on Azula loosened and the nunchaku fell to the ground a this feet as the thin limbs of the tree captured him. From behind him the assailant would reappeara kunai pressing to Yusuke's throat as they emerged with a chuckle. When they spoke Yuuske could hear the distortion in their voice, but found himself identifying something vaguely famine about it's the attacker's dark hair spilled over his shoulder.

She tilted his head up as a surge of frustration ran through him. He had been captured far too easily. Whatever technique the enemy had used had caught him off guard. A this feet Azula pondered her partner's strange behavior. Why had Yusuke done nothing to resist the enemy? And why did he now seem to refuse to move. The way he stood,his eyes tilted back to look at the enemy as the rest of him seemed rigid spoke volumes. Azula'd teammate had been caught in some trap.some illusion that was fooling him. She had to do something, but now wasn't the right moment.

The attacker would ask about the jinchuriki. Was this about Sada? Who was after the redhead and why? He needed to buy time, to think,and asked usual the only way to do so was for his mouth to run seemingly on it's own.

"See I'm curious where we go from here. You already have a knife to my throat, so unless you kill me I'm curious how you escalate from here. If I don't talk, and you don't kill me right away, then how do you keep the pressure on me to spill what you want to know?" he said,realizing as he spoke how stupid he was being.

"I mean yeah you can kill me, but thankfully I already sent a summon to alert any shinobi he finds that I'm being attacked by an enemy, so even if I die you are on borrowed time here." he bluffed.

"Draw her focus on me, hive Azula a chance to strike." He thought.

Beneath him Azula would focus, preparing to transform and attack the moment she saw the enemy's attention become consumed by the blonde.

If she spoke Azula would hold,waiting. If the enemy went to kill Yusuke Azula would transform, sending a kick at the target's head through the puff of smoke. As she moved Azula would weave signs, and slam her hands charged with raiton chakra into the foe's chest.

After the handseals are completed, the user will generate a large amount of Raiton onto their hands which could be discharged onto a person or object they are in close contact with. The electricity from this jutsu has enough power to intensively damage and electrocute the opponent. Due to it's short range, conductive materials are often used to lengthen it's range, and even improve the electrical power of the technique. Methods such using streams of water or ninja wire are common ways to improving the jutsu's range.

He wasn't wrong, but... His words still made her chuckle, drawing on all her encounters with nefarious opponents. With a sugary sweet voice, she let the mask move closer to his ear, her other hand came to grip his blond hair to yank his head back, exposing his throat further. "Means I get to be creative~" [break][break]
He could make of it what he wanted, but his response would also prompt her to lower the kunai from his throat, leaving only a small red mark of irritation. She stepped a bit away, her other hand still clutching his blond locks for a moment. How far could she take this without landing herself in trouble? The moment would pass and she let go of the chuunin, moving to stand in front of him, with a quick movement she released the jutsu, a simple tap on whatever body part was nearest. "Eyes front, soldier boy!" she hissed, forming the handseals and her eyes sought his, hoping her call would draw his attention just enough to smack the next jutsu at him. She was fast. Not physically, but none could match her when it came to casting genjutsu. [break][break]
If she did succeed in making enough noise to draw his attention, then he would find himself caught in the jutsu, her shadow would seem to grow teeth and red eyes before it launched itself at the blond chuunin, determined to devour him.

After doing three hand seals and having eye contact with the target the user creates an illusion that makes red eyes and sharp rows of teeth appear on his shadow before it rises from the ground and launches itself at the target. Once upon the target it will begin slowly devouring it causing mental pain and exhaustion to the recipient if the user is specializing in genjutsu it can even cause death by a stroke if the target is sufficiently weakened. The down side is that the technique requires users to limit the amount of pain the target feels during the process or risk the genjustsu collapsing on itself otherwise.
