The woman didn't even notice that she had walked straight into, and by, Yusuke. For her lithe frame she packed a sturdy punch, even passively, so much so that several other villagers who got in Kasumi's idling wander would hit the deck. It would take until Yusuke spoke for Kasumi's red, reptilian eyes to look down at the blonde haired man. And when she stared, it wasn't simply an inquisitive stare, it would be a stare that seemed to pierce into the soul of the blonde. Not that she intended it, but it was simply her way - as alluring and mystifying as her form was so too was her gaze piercing and otherworldy.
It took the Sage a moment or two to actually acknowledge Yusuke's question. Was she out for a walk? Well. She was walking and she was out, if that was what was meant by out for a walk. But the Villagers had strange colloquialisms for certain things... was she out for a stroll? Not precisely. She was on an errand, it was why she was dressed... well, not like a wilding but like the Sage she was. Usually her appearance in the wilds would be stellar opposite, still pretty but less... elegant. Certainly her hair usually would have been tatty and covered in creatures living in her hair, her feet would be dirty. Today, though, even though she wore no shoes her feet were defying the laws of nature and squeaky clean, toenails painted a dark purple colour that matched her lips.
And so her mind came back to 'was she out for a walk'. Well. Not quite.
"I'm following the birds," Kasumi eventually said after the world's longest pause, her voice purred like satin and had an oddly calming tone to it, if not outright quirky. Like her appearance, it didn't betray her age.
"If you follow them for long enough, they guide you to where your path ends."
Who said talking to a Sage was easy?
