A jutsu that builds upon the foundation of Kai, though primarily differs in the sense that the technique is intended to fight against genjutsu by preventing the technique from taking root.

By releasing a high amount of Chakra from their entire body the user forms a barrier of chakra around themselves. While this barrier offers no physical defense it does work as a counter to genjutsu. The constant output of a large quantity of Chakra acts as a disruption to the flows of incoming Chakra when the user is faced with a genjutsu trigger, effectively canceling the genjutsu from taking hold.

While initially appearing as a powerful counter this jutsu has specific limitations. The use of the jutsu is good for one counter, as the enemy's chakra flow is disrupted so too is this jutsu. This means the shield of the pure mind jutsu can only counter one genjutsu technique before failing. Also, the constant output of chakra can be very draining on the user, ans the powerful flow of chakra means that the user cannot use any other type of jutsu besides taijutsu or bukijutsu while the technique is held.

Despite these drawbacks if used as intended this jutsu allows the user to effectively counter a single genjutsu performed by the enemy, permitting them to close the distance and strike the foe with a clear and untampered mind.
