[Kuishinbou Satsuko]

Satsuko found herself back in Konoha, a place she hadn't visited in quite a while. She needed to report that they have yet to find a new lord or lady for her village, but they were willing to keep updated. Not to mention she wanted to check on the Hokage to see why she hadn't contacted her village in such a long time. Did they wish to stay allies? Where were they when they required some help? Was Konoha going to betray them?

All of these questions have been wandering her mind for quite some time, and she felt like she needed to get to the bottom of this. However, while she was here, she thought that it might've been a good idea to try out their famous ramen, check on her old friend Chono of the Akamichi clan and perhaps even spend a week or more in the village to have a slight change of pace.

Although, she hoped that she wouldn't come back to Kusagakure with it burned down. As of late, she thought that the possibility was nearing day by day. She would've laughed if you would've told her that there would've been thirty years since the last shinobi world war. With tensions rising as time went on, she had a feeling it was only a matter of time before war would break out again.

Though, only time would tell. For now, she just has gotten done signing in shortly after arriving in the morning, before going to the nearest restaurant to recover energy. After refueling on food, she found herself relaxing on the grass, leaning back against a log while smoking her long pipe, and merely looking up at the clouds to pass the time for a little bit. She'd grown used to lounging as such over time.

The grassy and mostly empty areas were abundant in her village, so when she would visit Konoha, she could be found here now and then at least once. She liked to gaze at the clouds, watch others train, and even on occasion help with another's training. It was something that never got tiresome as she got older, mostly due to motherhood and being the leader of her clan.

Taking another drag before blowing out a cloud of smoke, she would close her eyes to reach out with her senses and feel the world around her, detecting all sorts of chakra signatures and scents, not to mention flavors in between the taste of ash and smoke.

Light feet carried the young girl across the fresh bright green grass that covered a majority of the field. There was much going for the day, and honestly Kazui hated it mostly because she could never find anything to do. Nothing ever changed, she had no variety in her schedule; it was always the same thing. Wake up, train, work, train, relax maybe have lunch, and then train again. It was kind of a drain on the girl mentally, and while she enjoyed the familiarity, doing the same thing everyday was not good. The girl would sigh as she continued to walk, it even felt like she saw the same people everyday.

"Where is Mairusu when you need him?”

The girl would mumble to herself as she continued walking through the field. There was a nice spot that she normally went to so that she could relax and shade herself away from the sun’s beaming rays of heat. Once she got there though, the girl saw a stranger resting where she normally did.

"Hey..Obaasan.”

The girl would call out quietly yet with a bland tone of voice, one couldn’t tell if the girl was interested, angry, or happy, her voice was one without emotion. Her eyes scanned the woman quickly. She appeared to be in her thirties based on her rather youthful look, but with those scars and markings on her body, Kazui wouldn’t be surprised if the woman were in her late forties. The scars told stories sure enough, and the Kusagakure headband pretty much was a dead giveaway that the woman was a shinobi of some kind, a shinobi leagues above herself and perhaps even her master, whom she considered the strongest in the village.

"You’re kinda in my spot.”

She would say, gesturing for the woman to look behind the log she was resting on. If she turned, the kusa kunoichi would find 3 different books stashed away. Two of them were mostly shinobi related, the other however was a simple girly novel that had been gifted to her from Yurako.
