"Oh, well it should be a little exciting for the Genin none the less." Daichi had said briefly after Kazuto had corrected him about the Chunin Exams. When Kazuto had stated that he was to escort the Genin to the land of Snow, Daichi had smiled. Kazuto also stated that two Genin, in particular, was his fiance and the other was his apprentice. "Congrats. You must be buying your food for the both of you, then?" Daichi asked, referring to his fiance. The Hatake had to admit that he wasn't quite 'in tune' with the department of romance to be quite honest. He never gave it all too much thought, if he were to be completely truthful. Perhaps, one day he'd find someone to spend the rest of his life with. For now, though, his work as Shinobi came first. When Kazuto had said in a dry tone that he was a Jonin, Daichi had quickly said, "My current goal is to become a Jonin. I've always wanted to become a Genin Team Leader, ya see," Daichi said, beginning to explain. "I want to be a Shinobi that's not just strong, but I want to set a good example to those who are just starting their path as a Leaf Shinobi," Daichi said, not faltering in his words. "I may not have the leadership skills yet, of course, someday I will, and I look forward to it," Daichi said smiling. "Also, don't worry about it. I'm not one to pry. It's actually probably a good thing that I don't know. Classified Information is not something I should know to begin with," Daichi said, completely understanding Kazuto's reasoning for not telling him in detail about what he's been currently doing. Daichi also knew that the man sitting in front of him had no obligation to tell him such a thing either, especially when it came to his own job. "My parents had taught me that meddling in stuff that doesn't fully pertain to what I do is a bad thing, so I just avoid it altogether. It's become a slight habit of mine since I became a Genin," Daichi said, being honest. That also was another thing. Daichi hardly ever lied about anything. Now, he'd be vague about certain things that wouldn't pertain to someone, but in terms of lying to someone deliberately, that's something he wouldn't do.
