All you have is your fire
And the place you need to reach
Don't you ever tame your demons
But always keep em' on a leash

A cloud of pale white smoke exploded from Kaho's mouth, the soft breeze sending it dance away into the evening sky. The Sarutobi lay on his back, one hand behind his head as he took another draw from his pipe. He sat high above the village, on a tall cylindrical roof. It was one of his favorite spots in the village, especially to watch the sunrise and sunset. The only place better was the top of the Hokage monument. He often sat atop Kouki's stone carved head, talking to his old friend as if he were there.

The sun had just fallen beyond the distant tree's as he got to his feet, cleaning out his pipe and dusting himself off. His stomach growled violently as the monkey Sho climbed up onto his shoulder. He had lost track of Emi sometime in the afternoon, the female fox was more independed than his ever-present monkey companion. She would find them by nights end he thought, scratching Sho's ears as he let out a small whine . Sho loved that fox, even if he did make it his mission to be a little pest.

"Let's get some food hrm?" Kaho said as he deftly bounced down the side of the building, his movements resembling that of a monkey. He cruised the streets casually contemplating where he'd end up before deciding on the Sarutobi run bar aptly named The Drunken Monkey. It wasn't a place he visited often, he was a man who stuck with what he liked but sometimes it was good to broaden your horizons and it was clan run bar.

The warmth and smell greeted him like an old friend, that familiar scent of Sarutobi brewed sake made is mouth water. Nobody quite made sake like the Sarutobi, in his bias opinion. He sauntered over to the bar, greeting people here and there. He recognized a few clan-members, as they greeted him happily. He had once been the black-sheep of the Sarutobi, now he was one of the most respected. Undeserved in his humble opinion, he had been horribly stagnant of late. Between slow missions and spending his free time either tutoring at the academy or relaxing, training had been non-existent. Something he needed to definitely change.

"Is there a Menu?" Kaho said, taking a seat at the bar.

Don’t just weather the storm.
Dance in it.

It had been an extremely busy day, much like the days before thanks to the establishment’s new promotion of ‘all you can eat’, which was kind of weird because the place was already ‘all you can eat’ due to the business being nonprofit, albeit tipping was optional. Still, the people fell for it and began piling in as if they were getting a great deal.

Around the place, a young girl could be seen, a clipboard in one arm as she wrote down orders and proceeded to collect used plates and trays. At first glance it seemed as if the girl was doing everything, and well that was kind of true. Taking on a somewhat managerial role, Kazui made sure everything was taken care of. From the orders, cleanliness, and things in between such as customer service and relations. While this could have been seen as odd, what would stand out more is her age, she wasn’t even fifteen yet.

Once she made her way back towards the bar, she wouldn’t directly look at Kaho, instead she would continue with her current task, which was placing the orders so that the chef could begin prepping the plates. Each tab would be clamped individually to the window, and once she finished, she would turn around to face the customer.

"Welcome to the Drunken Monkey, what can I get you?” She asked dryly as she pulled the pen from behind her ear and readied herself to take down the man’s order. Instead, the girl would retrieve a thin paper menu with the current day’s meals on it. As her dark eyes drifted and focused on the guy’s face, Kazui would feel a sense of familiarity. Did she know him from somewhere? He could’ve been at the academy once or twice back when she was enrolled there, she had been there for years so the idea didn’t seem too far fetched. Shaking the thought from her head, Kazui would continue on with her job.

"Let me know what you want when you’ve decided. Also...if you want a..drink then you’ll have to wait for Mr. Yusuke to come make it for you. Serving drinks is out of my jurisdiction.”

With that the girl would wait with her pen and pad at the ready, but the more she waited the more curious she became. Where did she know him from?
