[Kuishinbou Satsuko]

An official meeting with the Hokage since becoming the new leader of Kusagakure. She was now officially in power, no longer a simple diplomat and advisor to fools who’d only ended up besmirching the legacy of Nohara no Kuni, dragging her and her family’s nation name through the mud. Now for her first move was to talk with the Hokage in order to get started on her first step towards empowering her country. It would take a bit to find a couple of bodyguards before leaving, a restriction that she has grown to dislike.

Now that she was a important figure, as if she wasn’t one before, there was a bit more bureaucracy. She never really gave it much thought before, as before she would just let them know she was off to explore or something. Now it had to be official business and she needed a few guards around her if she wanted to leave the village. She understood why, but part of her was nonetheless annoyed by such restrictions. They felt like a waste of time and a bit of a hassle.

After spending a few days preparing, she finally arrived in Konohagakure on horseback and after signing at the gate, she unsummoned her horses and told the two bodyguards that had accompanied her to go scout the area and essentially goof off while she awaited for the Hokage to greet her. She would wander around but she wished to walk and talk with Lady Niko as they discussed business. A personal preference, nothing more. While the older woman waited, she pulled out a pack of cigarettes from her pouch and lit it, taking a drag while waiting near the gate.
