The fact that Anzai had so much clan support showed how special he truly had been. A matriarchal clan. Women lead, the strong females climbing to the top. The leaders of Empress always that of a woman. So to get so much respect as a man would no doubt have been daunting. The believe put in something so entirely against what they were made him extraordinary. And only showed further how harshly this absence had struck. The clan lost a major asset. And Keiko lost the one she loved. With added baggage. She as a female was still lackluster to her sibling as far as their bloodline went, and that’s what had truly mattered to their parents as well. Not that she was abused, but her care and longing had been with Anzai. The loss of him had been hard on his little sister.
Which made getting him back so much sweeter. He had been dead to her. While she had moved on, she never truly forgot. Fight and injury hadn’t paused her adoration and love for him for one second and the two had immediately attempted to relearn about one another, live together, and share in their lives. They were very different people but at the core still the faithful Yutakako siblings. She finally had him back. It did’nt make her give up her life, nor him his. They had their own paths and way. But she had Anzai back, was immensely glad for it, and always knew he’d be there if she merely asked.
Hadn’t asked now though. Her mind was in turmoil and stress, though quickly having dissipated with her meditation. Calming… and attempting to ease her soul as she sat outside that of Tsuchi no Kuni. Keiko was no sensor. Her control was far from anything that might have helped her with that. But the world did speak to her. Stone and grass bowed at her presence. Literal bending from stalks and trees just barely steepened her way. She was a entity that nature bowed towards, obeyed, and cherished. It flowed through her as easily as breath and had since childhood. This was even the spot that changed her life…
So hearing his song getting stronger hour by hour had been something of comfort. She knew her brother’s song now, had gotten accustomed to it after not recognizing him that fateful day. He sounded familiar, powerful, and with increased proximity she’d hear it get vaguely louder and louder. It wasn’t something that allowed her to pinpoint his location, but was difficult to say she didn’t think he was coming for her. Anzai could pinpoint people! And was there any other reason he’d enter Tsuchi no Kuni?
Pretty arrogant actually. There were likely a million reasons. But the eager sister would believe it was her anyway. Her brother missed her. She had been gone for so long… How long was it? A year? More? Time passed so quickly. SHe wondered if he’d like Tadami?
But all thoughts and feelings were still done in silence. Her meditation letting those thoughts float around and linger in a grand circle of mental state. Stillness would linger ever onwards, the girl never quite sure if Anzai had lingered or approached. Minutes ticking by, long and smooth, something that her brother certainly could have interrupted as he lay in watch. She would have taken time since he got there, never truly knowing he had been so close. She could hear his song~ But impossible to be quite sure how close. The only hint would have been it hadn’t moved. Not much anyway.
"Are you there~?” A voice called out. A lilt to her tone and playfulness almost mixed with a laugh. The girl suddenly letting herself fall back. Back meeting the stone she sat on and laying across it, the curvature letting her head fall farther back than where her ass sat. Sprawled back and practically asking to land on her head if she didn’t keep some weight in her hips and legs…
A deep breath taken, the girl’s chest expanding and retracting slowly as red eyes glimmered about what had been behind her. Looking for him curiously, but also unsure if she’d meet anything. Though she would. He looked vastly different, something that immediately crossed her expression with surprise. Then questioning. It lingered in silence a moment, then a grin spread across her lips. Playful. ANd dangerous! Or something close.
"Catch me~” Not that he had much warning. Nor time. She was already practically half upside down. But with a small shift of her legs and a push of her foot, she’d let her ass slide off the rock and mean to let her body flatten to the ground below… Had he not pulled a bit of a stunt to get her, she would have certainly cracked her skull upon the stone ground and plopped her body over the side. Sprawled again, rubbing at her head as she sat up and pouted. Though not without a giggle mixed within~
"You shouldn't be here, dummy. I missed you though!" The World Bows
An effect of her belief that she is merely who she is meant to be, as well as her natural affinity towards nature, Keiko’s existence and interaction with the world around her has taken a peculiar turn. In an essence similar to her master, Keiko’s presence in the world is starting to have an effect. While his presence forces fear and dominance, Keiko’s is one that almost guides one to their knees. While still heavy and could possibly be described as pressure, it is in essence the world bowing to her and very much urging any living creature to follow. Her control on such a presence has proved finicky, as nature is more the cause in response to her than it being internal herself.
What’s more, the world communicates with Keiko. Speaking a never ending symphony of life into her ears, Keiko is constantly entranced by a concert from life around her. This is also noted by people. They sing a song they don’t hear themselves, their own presences being heard by the girl. While this doesn’t give her exact positioning, distances, or any sort of visual cue. It is difficult for Keiko to not be aware of a change of life in her vicinity.
